"Come on everyone it's time to get up. We are going to the cottage today," Pepper called out from the kitchen.

Thor was the first one to enter. "I am very fearful. I heard that college is an intimidating place."

Pepper laughed. "Thor we are going to a cottage." It's a house near a lake where Tony and I go on vacations."

"I understand. I still have things to learn about midgard."

"Good morning everyone," Bruce said as he walked in, placing his suitcase on the floor.

"Why isn't everyone up yet?" Pepper asked confused.

"I got this," Bruce said. He stuck his head out the door and yelled," PEPPER MADE BREAKFAST!"

Within a few seconds they heard footsteps and the sound of suitcases being dragged down the stairs.

"Breakfast is on the table. J.A.R.V.I.S. wears Tony?" Pepper asked as everyone began to eat.

"He is in the nursery attempting to dress Amanda."

Everyone began to laugh a little .

"I better go rescue her."

"Hey Tony what's taking so long?" Pepper said.

"Well you see, I changed her diaper and she peed right after. Then I couldn't find the right clothes for her."

"It's alright love, I'll help," Pepper replied as she reached for the drawer.

"mumumumumumumum," Amanda mumbled.

The couple smiled at their little girl. "That's right. That's your mummy," Tony said.

"Alright her dresses are in here and so are the leggings. She's comfortable in them and they will be good for the long car ride today."

"Can figure out how to create clean energy but can't dress a baby," he said laughing.

"You're a great daddy, and she loves you."

Almost as if on cue, Amanda reached out towards Tony.

"Come on, let's go get some breakfast," Tony said picking her up.

"You expect all of us to get in that van? You want me to be in a confined space?" Bruce asked.

"It won't be that confined. Darcy and I are taking my motorcycle, Natasha and Clint are taking Clint's car," Steve replied.

"Besides, we're taking the bigger van. We'll have room," Tony said as Thor began handing him suitcases.

"This should be fun," Bruce said.

"Pepper love, we don't fart in vehicles," Tony said teasing her.

Pepper swatted at him. "I don't fart Tony."

"Everyone does," Bruce said.

"Relax everyone. Amanda just needs to be changed," Jane said looking at the little girl.

"We are five minutes away from the cottage so we should be fine," Tony said.

"I need more firewood!" Steve yelled to Clint who was sitting in a tree.

"Gotcha!" Clint said as he cut down another branch.

Thor caught it and handed it to Bruce.

"Is this even legal?" Jane asked Natasha.

Natasha laughed. "Does Tony really care?"

"No he doesn't," Tony said taking a seat.

"I've got the smore stuff," Darcy said smiling.

Pepper came out and joined them. "Sorry everyone. It took me a while to get Amanda to sleep."

"It's all good sis. Come sit beside me," Darcy said patting the space beside her on one of the benches.

"We don't have any matches," Bruce said, laughing a little.

"I've got this," Thor said, calling Mjolnir to his side.

"Thor no no no no," Jane began to say.

To everyone's surprise he was able to light the fire using his powers without burning everything down.

"Not bad," Clint said, jumping out of the tree.

"We make a pretty good team," Steve said, taking a seat on the other side Darcy.

"Anyone know any good scary stories," Tony asked.

"Who cares when there's smores?" Jane said, laughing.

"That's what's up," Natasha replied.

"I know a scary story," Bruce said, looking at the ground. "It's about a guy who turns into a green monster."

"You aren't a monster Bruce. We love you," Pepper said.

Bruce smiled a little. "I still wonder if I'll ever find the right girl. I mean look at us. Pepper and Tony are married and have a child. Steve and Darcy are engaged as well as Thor and Jane. Clint has Natasha."

"I can set you up," Tony said with a smirk.

Pepper swatted at his arm. "Not after what happened last time."

"Awww come'on the bar just caught on fire. I think it would be good," Tony said, pouting.

"I think he's right," Bruce said. "This time, I get to meet the girl before the date."

"Sounds like a deal my friend."

Pepper quietly snuck over to the bed, avoiding any creaking floorboards that could wake up her daughter.

"I can't find the bed," Pepper whispered, trying not to laugh.

"Would a nightlight help?" Tony whispered, laughing.

"Hey. I don't want to stub my toes on anything in the dark," Pepper replied.

"I got this," Tony said. He took off his sweater and so she could see the light radiating from his arc reactor.

Pepper laughed a little. She finally found where she was going and got all bundled up in the blankets. "I've always wanted to ask you, does the arc reactor hurt?"

"Nope. It hurting getting the magnet placed in my chest. They didn't give me the proper anesthetic."

Pepper cringed. "I'm sorry you had to go through that Tony."

"It was my own fault, besides it was worth it."

"How so?" Pepper asked confused.

"It gave me a change of heart. I also wouldn't have lived and gotten the chance to marry you and have our beautiful baby girl."

"Mmmm I love you," Pepper said, yawning.

"Go to sleep love. Tomorrow, we teach Thor how to fish."
