Chapter 34: I'm Sorry... Team 7
Sakura gritted her teeth when she felt the sand sibling's chakra nearby, she concealed her chakra to make sure the sand sibling won't sense her.
Gaara groan as if in pain.
"We have to move faster" Temari said looking her little brother with worried filled eyes.
"What do you think I'm doing? Jogging?" Kankurō ask sarcastically but equally worried.
"Well, well, well..." Sakura said appearing a couple of feet in front of them.
"S-Sakura... H-how did you..." Temari ask her eyes widening.
"Doesn't matter..." Sakura said in a monotone while looking at them with no emotion evident in her emerald eyes.
"Temari, take Gaara... I'll... I'll handle her..." Kankurō said uncertain.
"Are you sure?" Temari ask taking Gaara from Kankurō and wrapping his arm around her neck.
"No... But we don't exactly have a choice..." Kankurō retort glaring at his sister.
"Fine... Be careful..." Temari said before speeding away with Gaara.
"Are you sure you want to fight me?" Sakura ask with a smirk on her face and an amuse look.
Kankurō gritted his teeth "I can't fight her, she'll squash me and my puppets like a bug..."
"No... I will be your opponent" someone said jumping on the brach beside Sakura.
"Hn... Glad you could join the party, I'll leave him to you" Sakura said smirking at Shino before speeding away.
"Temari, put me down..." Gaara said weakly.
"Oi Gaara, you're awake?" Temari said looking at her younger brother before stopping on a branch.
Gaara grip his head in frustration.
"Gaara..." Temari thought staring at Gaara with a worried expression.
"Temari, Scram" Gaara said glaring at her.
"Nani?" Temari ask her eyes widen.
"Just get lost! Mind your own business!" Gaara said gritting his teeth.
Temari gave him a sad look before jumping away reluctantly.
"Hn..." Sakura said crossing her arms on her chest while looking at Gaara.
Gaara glared at her "What are you doing here?"
"I'm going to stop you..." Sakura said shrugging.
"Kuso... Did she kill Kankurō?" Temari thought worried for her other brother.
"I don't want to hurt you, Sakura" Gaara said his eyes hardening.
Sakura raise an eyes brow "You won't be able to hurt me..." she said narrowing her eyes as she watch Gaara transform into his half Shukaku form
"LET ME FEEL ALIVE!" Gaara/Shukaku said running towards her.
"Hai... That's exactly it... It's Sasuke-kun... Although I was going to take Haruno Sakura's body but Sasuke intervene... Such a shame, but oh well it can't be help..." Orochimaru said frowning.
"A reincarnation Jutsu that steals the body of another and makes the spirit immortal, what number face... Body... Is that one?" Hiruzen ask worriedly.
"I believe it's the second one... I intend to possess Sasuke's, after he grows up a bit more to my tastes, hehehe" Orochimaru said sadistically "I suppose this face would be best..." He said putting back his original face.
Hiruzen gritted his teeth before doing a hand seal "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu."
"What's going on? Why did he create 2 clones?" The ANBU said confuse.
"Ha... You really have grown old... To think you'd shorten your own lifespan out of impatience..." Orochimaru said amuse.
"It... It can't be that you..." Enma said in disbelief.
Hiruzen started doing some hand seals that Enma and Sasuke recognize.
"Is he planning to..." Sasuke thought gritting his teeth while blocking Hashirama's attack.
"The order of the seals... There's no mistaking it... That Sarutobi... He's planning on doing that Jutsu..." Enma thought in realization.
The Shinigami hovers behind Hiruzen and wraps its left arm with prayer beads, uttering some unintelligible chanting.
"This must be the death that the Yodaime spoke of only those who form a contract with this Jutsu can see it..." Hiruzen thought looking at the Shinigami from the corner of his eyes.
"It's already too late... I've already won... The leaf is going to be demolished..." Orochimaru said smirking smugly.
"Konoha is my home... The hokage are the ones who act as the main pillar of the house, protecting it... He's the one who carries the will of fire... It won't be that easy for you..." Hiruzen said with a hint of pride.
"Kokuangyo no Jutsu" Hashirama said while forming a seal.
Darkness started to surround Hiruzen but before it could fully consume him it stop.
"Nani...?" Hashirama said his eyes slightly widening before looking at the young Uchiha who was smirking at him.
The 2 clones run towards Hashirama and Tobirama, grabbing the both of them by the shoulder.
"Shiki Fūjin" Hiruzen said clapping his palm together after a few seconds the curse seal started to appear on the Shinigami's arm before thrusting its arm into the Hiruzen's chest to grab the soul of the two previous Kages.
"Come Forth!" Hiruzen said gritting his teeth.
"Kuso..." Sasuke said looking away while gritting his teeth.
"Sorry, Sarutobi..." Hashirama said with apologetic eyes.
"We've cause you and the Uchiha a lot of trouble..." Tobirama said giving him a sad smile.
"Please forgive me... Shodai-sama... Nidaime-sama... FŪIN!" Hiruzen said with a sad expression n his face.
"Argh!..." His 2 clones grunted as the soul of the previous 2 Kages was sealed inside of them.
A weird seal almost similar to Naruto's seal on his stomach appeared on Hiruzen's.
"He did it..." Sasuke thought clenching his fist.
"NANI?... FUCK!" Naruto said dodging a sound-nin's attack "KUSO!" He said taking out his anger on his opponents.
"Sakura...?" Sasuke thought wondering why his girlfriend was quiet "She must be fighting Gaara..."
"Come Enma" Hiruzen said running towards Orochimaru.
Sasuke move to help him but couldn't "The heck...?" He said trying to move "No way... How did he..."
"I'm sorry Sasuke but... I have to do this..." Hiruzen said gritting his teeth as he watch Orochimaru's snake hand stop Enma from grabbing him, but he manage to grab Orochimaru by the shoulder "This is the end..."
"I... Can't... Move... My... Body..." Sasuke thought trying to move his body when he saw Orochimaru move his index and middle finger.
"DIE!" Orochimaru and Hiruzen said in unison.
The Shinigami started to remove Orochimaru's soul at the same time Orochimaru's sword was heading straight towards Hiruzen's back.
"Kuso!" Enma said grabbing the sword in a nick of time but he was too late he only manage to grab the end of the blade.
"Ugh... Why didn't... You dodge it...?" Orochimaru ask through gritted teeth before doing a hand seal.
"You know this Jutsu... In exchange for this Jutsu to work... Your hand over your soul to death... It's a Fūin Jutsu that you pay for with your life... There's no need to avoid it... I'll die anyway..." Hiruzen said half smirking at him "Once the Fūin is completed, my soul would be consumed simultaneously... It's the Jutsu of the hero who once upon a time saved this village... With this Jutsu from now... You'll die as well."
Orochimaru's eyes widen in realization "You mean... This is the Jutsu... That sealed even the kyūby..."
"Hai... I'll drag your soul out of your body soon... And seal it... You too... Should be able to see it about now... Your soul is about halfway out too, so... With this Jutsu... The one whose soul is sealed will suffer for all eternity in the belly of death, never gaining release... The one who is sealed and the one who performed the seal... Their soul will mingle, hating each other and battling the other for all eternity..." Hiruzen said smirking at him.
"What... Is that...?" Orochimaru said a slight fear and panic evident in his eyes when he saw what's behind his former sensei "This... Is... Death..."
Hiruzen's eyes slightly widen when he felt the sword digging in deeper while Orochimaru was using every ounce of his strength to control the sword.
"Kuso..." Sasuke thought as he watch Orochimaru struggle to control his sword and Hiruzen struggle to take his soul.
Team 7 just finished telling their story to Hiruzen, they're just waiting for the Hokage to say something.
Hiruzen close his eyes and sighed "You can't undo the major part of history... Other wise how will you guys meet Tsunade or even Jiraiya... Or make friends with Suna... Everything needs a little sacrifice... I know it's sad to think like this but... I think my death will bring good things to the village same as bad but... Everything comes with a prize... Although I am sadden to leave konohamaru behind but Ithink it is time for me to also pay the debt I made with my sins..." (Thabz4Life gave me the idea)
"But Old man..." Naruto started to protest but Hiruzen held up his hand to stop him.
"No... I am going to die and that's final... I want the three of you to help the village and not me... Do you understand?" Hiruzen said firmly.
"Hai..." Team 7 said reluctantly.
"I can't feel my arm... I can't use any Jutsu..." Orochimaru thought gritting his teeth in frustration.
"Even if you manage to get rid of me... I orderedmy subordinates the hidden sand shinobi to come and infiltrate the village... You leaf shinobi will be annihilated down to the women and children... Leaf will crumble..." Orochimaru said smirking at him.
Hiruzen glared at him "You should know Orochimaru... Not to take the shinobi in this village so lightly... The leaf's shinobi are all protecting the village... They fight with all their life... True strength is not mastering all the Jutsu... I was never able to teach you... When they are protecting something important... That's when a shinobi's true strength appears..."
"... A boring speech..."
"Hmmm... This is good... I don't feel like letting you off now... For you, who is obsessed with Jutsu, this is the appropriate punishment... To steal all your Jutsu!"
"Nani!?" Orochimaru said shock "Can't be..." He said his eyes widening when he saw the Shinigami raising its arm getting ready to cut off his arm "STOP IT!"
SLASH!
"FŪIN!" Hiruzen yelled determination in his eyes.
"My arms won't move..." Orochimaru said both his arms turning grayish.
"You won't be able to use either arm, you won't be able to use them because both are completely sealed..." Hiruzen said breathing heavily "You no longer have any Jutsu... You were unsuccessful at destroying the leaf..."
"YOU OLD MAN! GIVE ME BACK MY ARM" Orochimaru yelled glaring at him.
"You're foolish Orochimaru... They've both been completely destroyed... My apprentice we'll meet in another world..." Hiruzen said giving him a sad smile.
"Your light is blown out, old man, all this, all this, my Jutsu!" Orochimaru said a bit panic.
"The place, the leaves dance... The fires burn..." Hiruzen said with a peaceful smile before looking at Sasuke's direction "I know... I just repeated what happened... And I'm sorry... But I have no other choice... This... Is... The right thing to do... I'm sorry... To you, to Sakura, and to Naruto... I'm sorry team 7..." He said before slowly closing his eyes and dying with a smile on his face.
I'm really really sorry I haven't updated for how many weeks... My laptop crash and I misplaced my USB flash drive... I needed another job so I could have enough money to buy a new one...
And I'm so sorry if the chapter is short...
