Disclaimer: I own nothing
All right. This chapter marks the beginning of the climax. There's three more chapters after this and then the epilogue. So a total of four till the end. YAY!
I have changed a few things from my chapter outline.
So, I don't know what might happen to Keroro or Tamama. So you should tell me if you want them to live or any of them to die. I'm rooting for Keroro's death personally.
But I'd like to hear what you think.
Also, I edited this chapter. Wasn't much to change? I think.
Tororo waited for Kululu to fall asleep. It was easy enough. Kululu slept a lot more than normal saying it was healthy for him and he required normally 20 hours of sleep and was pushing his limits.
Tororo had never seen Kululu say something like that, but it suited his goal.
When Kululu had finally left for his room, Tororo took out his personal laptop to do some research if Kululu had any plans about him or what had happened to him after the Keroro platoon disbanded.
"Pu, pu, pu...Let's just hack into the military files..." The first part was easy enough for Tororo being a genius hacker. He easily found Kululu's file and brought it up to look at.
The first part was mostly boring stuff about his life before the military and his young recruitment. "Tch. Not that impressive. I was recruited young too." The rest was about how annoying he was when recruited and how he was impressively dropped down from a Major to a sergeant Major. "So that's why I was only recruited as a New recruit instead of a Major...That old man strikes again." Tororo was not pleased
He skimmed through the boring information about his time in the Keroro platoon before getting to the files after the disbandment of the Keroro platoon. The information was classified and hidden away.
"I love classified files...Pu, pu, pu." Tororo efficiently got into the files anyway, even though he was warned against it.
He opened the file to read it.
Sergeant Major Kululu:
At first he was quite easy to negotiate into invading Pekopon. Being the biggest asset of the Keroro platoon and least responsible for their failure he was able to keep his military status.
Tororo frowned at this boring bit of information. He was unhappy that Kululu hadn't been punished more deeply. "So he's just acting weird because he thinks he's better than me!"
After failing to locate the pekoponian Hinata Natsumi though he got a different job to be part of annihilating the angolians. He refused in favor of torture. Most tortures were ineffective on him, and many of our best keronians quit under the pressure.
Tororo's frown grew larger and larger realizing how Kululu had successfully jerked around the people who tortured him. "Pu, pu, pu...But eventually he did help annihilate the angolians...So did he just refuse to be a jerk?"
After finding out sergeant Major Kululu's weakness for the angolian girl who he worked with it was easy enough to use her torture as an incentive to get Kululu to be a little bit more compliant. He agreed to annihilate Angol.
"Kululu...Cared about someone?" Tororo tried to process the fact that there was someone Kululu didn't want to be in pain.
He was helpful and useful to make Corporal Giroro once again useful. However, due to orders from the higher ups, he was still placed in a room for torture along with the angolian girl. Probably for his insolence.
"He got out though, I'm guessing." Tororo decided
Using the angolian girl to torture him was easy enough to cause his displeasure. Eventually orders were given to do away with her though and a drug was given to him to make him hallucinate. His shackles were released and he beheaded her.
Sergeant Kululu escaped somehow shortly after that.
"..." Tororo didn't like reading this. He had thought Kululu was just playing some weird joke on him, not that he was just seriously messed up because of torture. "Nah, it's Kululu he can't be that messed up now, can he?"
He eventually joined the military again apologizing for his actions. He's been very useful giving designs for weapons and tanks and organizing information. His usefulness out ways the risks and after carefully being monitored it seems he's up to no trouble.
He's finally doing what he was meant to do.
"...I guess this branch of the Keron military is the corrupt one...Pu, pu, pu...Not that surprised." Tororo admitted.
He didn't like the research he had found on Kululu though.
The latest battle was approaching. Kululu's information had pointed to the forces being a little larger than normal.
"I can help too this time!" Tamama smiled
"Um...Uhhh..." Keroro didn't really know what to do in battle situations
"I can throw you at enemies. Don't worry." Natsumi reassured. Keroro was not reassured.
The group had multiplied by 2, and Giroro and Natsumi seemed to be confident in the information not only Kululu had given, but their own physical powers.
"You sure...Everything's going to go well?" Keroro asked finally. He hadn't seen Natsumi in a long time, but something just seemed different about her. Maybe it was because she was a little larger.
She's certainly been eating well. Did she find an abandoned supermarket? Keroro wondered to himself. He wanted to find an abandoned supermarket too.
"You sure Kululu's trustworthy enough to trust?" Tamama asked, having not as much experience working with Kululu's information to take down soldiers.
"Yeah. He is." Giroro answered, his information being pretty helpful already to give him and Natsumi a huge advantage. "Has everybody memorized what he texted us?" Giroro asked
"Yeah, but I'm still confused. Why do you have Lady Mois's cell phone?" Keroro asked
"Cuz she's dead." Tamama hoped
"I don't know. Our current theory is that she's not taking this thing seriously and vacationing on some sort of beach resort planet." Giroro answered, "It's not important though at the moment."
Keroro nodded.
"We ready to go?" He asked
They all nodded.
The battle was almost like all the other battles. Giroro started the attack in early morning and the four of them all attacked at first from a distance, until taking down all their weapons and getting closer to punch and slaughter.
One soldier wasn't about to just let himself die though.
"You'll never beat me! You'll never take me!" The soldier took out a good old fashioned tiny knife and pointed it at the much larger than him Natsumi.
"Ha. You really think that will-." Natsumi at first boasted about her size until she felt a wave of nauseous wash over her. No...Not here...Not now...But she couldn't hold anything back. She dropped to the ground and threw up on the soldier.
"Ahhh!" The soldier threw his knife into the air terrified. It landed on Natsumi's leg cutting her.
"NATSUMI!" Giroro smelled her blood from across the battlefield, not knowing how bad the damage was. He charged through soldiers, taking them all out, his battle mode being triggered. "DON'T YOU DARE HURT NATSUMI." He yelled, finally reaching her.
"Sorry Giroro..." Natsumi apologized still feeling quite sick and letting Keroro protect her, who had noticed her going down.
"I'm not losing you again. You'll be fine..." Giroro gave her a hug. "Tamama! Can you deal with the rest of them?" Giroro asked
"Easy." Tamama answered. Tamama took a big breath for a Tamama impact.
"Eek!" Keroro ran away as Giroro helped drag Natsumi away on his back.
"TAMAMA IMPACT!" Tamama took the last remaining soldiers out.
The four of them ran to their small cottage in the woods to rest.
"We've got no doctor...Oh geez..." Giroro started pacing around
"I'm feeling a bit better now..." Natsumi tried to admit
"No you aren't. I'm not going to let anything hurt you." Giroro told her, ordering her to sit down and rest. He bandaged her leg hoping to make her feel better. "I'm going to emergency call Kululu. This is way more important than anything else."
Giroro was obviously panicking about what was probably a small sickness.
"I just need some rest. Can you do a few battles on your own? I'll be good as new in a few days." Natsumi told Giroro
"I'm making sure nothing's happened though." Giroro called Kululu up immediately.
"Ku, ku, ku! You called! Darling, I'm so happy you're using that phone again. Is there something you need?" Kululu's voice answered the phone immediately after one ring.
"Um, yes, actually." Giroro's gruff voice answered him.
"Ku. Oh, it's just you, Giroro. Ah yeah...You probably don't use that phone anymore cuz Giroro's taking care of it. You're right next to me so you can just talk to me in person...Right?" Kululu asked as if he was talking to someone else.
"I called you because of an emergency." Giroro tried to ignore Kululu's weirdness
"It better be an important emergency. I was sleeping." His voice became in the distance again as if he scooted away from the phone and was talking to someone else, "It's important to get the necessary amount of rest after all. You previously never followed those rules, but I'm glad you're a lot healthier now. Your health is important after all. Don't want to have to piece you back together from sickness."
"About sickness. Natsumi's sick. I need your help." Giroro begged
"Tch. You interrupted me." Kululu seemed annoyed "If she's just sick it's no big deal. A few days of rest will be all she needs to get better. Stop bothering me for help." Kululu was still a bit of a jerk
"She threw up all over one of the soldiers we were attacking. And she looks really tired and a bit ill...A little bit different too..." Giroro didn't know how. He couldn't really peg her differentness.
"Different how?" Kululu asked, "Probably just a stomach flu."
"She's getting fatter!" Keroro took the phone from Giroro and said so himself
"W-was that the captain?" Kululu asked, "No...It couldn't be..."
"Yeah. We found Keroro. Tamama too." Giroro answered
"Don't let them touch her phone." Kululu ordered not really caring about Natsumi
"Fine. If you'll give me some advice and help Natsumi. Is there any medicine you can send up?" Giroro asked
"...I don't know. Still trying to figure out what she has. She been urinating more frequently?" Kululu asked
"That's a really personal question you know." Giroro responded
"Ku, ku, ku. How often do you two have sexual intercourse?" Kululu asked
Giroro blushed
"T-that's personal...I mean...We don't do those sort of things...Natsumi and I have a strictly platonic relationship." Giroro insisted
"Look, it's pretty obvious that you two are together. I just need to know how sexually active you two are. Ku, ku, ku." Kululu answered
"Why?" Giroro asked
"There's a small possibility that she's not sick and you got her pregnant. Nothing I can do if that happened but it will hurt our plan dearly. Can you look around through all the pekoponian ruins for a pregnancy test? Just to eliminate my theory." Kululu suggested
Giroro paled. "Yeah, I'll do that."
He hung up and looked at Natsumi.
"He...Suggested finding a pregnancy test...Just to make sure that it's not that." Giroro told her
"It isn't. It's just a flu." Natsumi answered
"Would make sense if it isn't though." Keroro shrugged, "I'll help you raid a store. I know where one is after all."
Giroro nodded and let Keroro once again lead him. Because his nerves were a wreck and he couldn't do it himself.
"It's positive." Natsumi frowned. "God darn it. I can't be pregnant now, I've got frogs to eliminate from my planet..." She sat down on her bed to cry, not being able to beat up keronians. "A-and...And I don't know what to do...I don't know...I want family, but this planet isn't safe for a child at the moment..."
"I'll...Natsumi..." Giroro gave her a hug around her waist, holding her while she cried, "Do you want this kid? Do you want them to be happy?"
Natsumi wiped her eyes trying to think
"T-this is a big thing, but of course I do...Their my family. They're a part of me...I don't want to abandon them or anything like that...B-but I don't know how to make them happy..." She confessed
"I promise to do whatever is in my power to keep you and our child safe." Giroro promised, "I love you, Natsumi."
Natsumi smiled through her tears.
"I love you too." She answered
"We're going to take care of Lady Natsumi's child!" Keroro was excited about seeing a baby, "Don't worry they'll be safe. We'll keep taking out the little fleets of keronians!"
"No. Natsumi shouldn't be battling too much. I don't want her to get hurt again or the child. And there's something I have to do to make the planet safe. Something that has to do with me..." Giroro cleared his throat trying to clear his nerves, "I have to face my mother. She's the one in charge of this invasion. I need to take her down. We shouldn't be playing around with the little soldiers anymore. We've got to take down the main fleet. And get on the main ship." Giroro decided
"Let's do it then." Natsumi agreed, "I'd love to beat up the person responsible for this."
"You aren't coming." Giroro insisted
"I'm not going to remain useless while my planet suffers. Even if I am pregnant." Natsumi frowned
"...I'm not letting you be harmed though. I don't want you to die. I-If she saw you she'd aim straight for you..." Giroro was frightened
"Do you think I want you to die too?" Natsumi asked, "No, of course not."
"Infiltrating a Keronian ship with a pekoponian will be harder than just being a keronian though." Giroro pointed out.
Natsumi frowned seeing the logic and not knowing how to deny it.
"B-but I don't want to be useless!" She argued
"You won't be. I'm fighting for and with you. Your warrior spirit will go with me." Giroro reassured. She frowned and Giroro cleared his throat
"Why doesn't lady Natsumi run distraction? If she attacks keronian soldiers on Pekopon to get them paying attention to her than you'll both be useful and you can take out the head general." Keroro suggested
Giroro glared.
"How dare you suggest a plan that puts Natsumi in danger..." He glared
"I'll do it!" Natsumi smiled
"A-and I'll come with her to protect her." Keroro volunteered, not wanting Giroro's anger
"Me too. Since I'm one of the most useful in battle!" Tamama had no modesty
"If she dies I'll take both of your lives." Giroro vowed
They both saluted him frightened.
"If something happens and you don't feel well, hide. Promise me that. Promise." Giroro asked
"Fine. I will." Natsumi frowned. Giroro felt a little bit better
"I'll call Kululu. We must waste no time with this. I'm doing it today. For Natsumi and for my child." Giroro was devoted.
Keroro and Tamama looked at each other wondering if they just didn't matter to him.
Kululu answered his phone yet again angry Giroro had called.
"We're done with the little stuff, Kululu. I'm going to infiltrate the main ship and take down the General. It's all or nothing." Giroro told him
"Fine. I'm going to be at the main ship too. Find or steal a hovercraft to get there. I'll break the main computers to cause an outage so you can get in." Kululu answered
"You're not questioning me and are completely okay with me changing all of your plans?" Giroro asked
"I want to kill her too, obviously. And...I need to get something at the main ship. I need to get there." Kululu admitted, "Be seeing ya! Ku, ku, ku." Kululu hung up
Giroro smiled. Things would be set in motion easily.
Making and creating things was easy. Breaking technology and computers was also easy. With some gasoline, and flames Kululu was able to wreck some keyboards pretty bad and then attach his headphones into the database to hack some things.
"Ku, ku, ku. I bet you like destroying things like this, don't you, Mois?" He asked his hallucination.
"I love it! Just whack the keyboards more and more!" Angol Mois told him.
In the destruction of valuable computers as Kululu hurt other ships and other computers, the door opened, which he was unaware of. "I think I'll fly this ship into the main one...Ku, ku, ku."
"Knew it...I knew you were a traitor! Well, I didn't know but I knew something was up with you!" Tororo was the one to open the door.
Kululu turned around having almost ignored Tororo.
"Ku?" He didn't seem that impressed with Tororo, "Ah, so he's discovered us. What should we do about him?"
"Stop it! There's no need to prank me anymore. And I'm done with you talking to nothing!" Tororo yelled, "And you destroyed some cool computers! That's just not cool. Pu, pu, pu."
"Ah, destroy him? That's what you think I should do? I'd love to do that." Kululu didn't even listen to Tororo. He was too busy in his conversation with his Angol Mosi hallucination.
"What...No way are you going to kill me that easily." Kululu slowly approached Tororo with his wires still out in his headphones.
Tororo was able to roll on the ground and grab a piece of the broken computer screens. "You won't beat me!" He threw it blindly since he wasn't a battlefield soldier.
It didn't hit anything except Kululu's glasses, breaking the lens to show a big, golden eye, obviously not working in his socket instead blindly looking at nothing.
"Y-you tried to harm, Mois..." Kululu didn't know how to cope with that
"Mois...The angol girl?" Tororo remembered seeing that color scheme of eye before. It was on the angolian girl they Angol stoned and who was working with the Keroro platoon. "T-that's her...Eye? Y-you... Took her eye and...And put it in..." Tororo seemed to be shaking from nauseous to horrified at this level of body horror.
Kululu stroked his own face.
"Don't worry, my precious darling. I won't let him take you from me or hurt you. He might have seen you now, but I won't let him. That will be the greatest honor before his death." Kululu gave a laugh but not his usual scheming kind.
"Hahaha! That's really funny Kululu. It was really embarrassing to show this little guy where my new home is. Please, destroy him, just for me? He's gotten in the way of too many things." Kululu said the words to himself and in a much higher pitch voice as if he were someone else.
Tororo was shaking more and more. His rival, who he had fought so deeply, was some sort of frankensteined crazy monster.
"Of course I will, Mois. I love you and will happily do anything you ask." Kululu agreed happily. "I...Love you so much." He stroked his face again lovingly.
He slowly approached Tororo more and more, half of his face in a distorted smile and the other in a half way innocent smile.
He never reached Tororo, because instead the tadpole fell over in his shock at someone he hated/idolized and put up so much in his mind like this.
Kululu was able to see from a distance what had happened.
"Heart attack. Ku. Too bad. Hope he's dead. Probably will be soon." Kululu decided. He laughed and turned around plugging in his headphones again and programming in one last thing on how the ship he was in was supposed to run into the main ship.
"Ku, ku, ku!" Kululu laughed
The door opened again, yet wider.
Soldiers ran in, realizing something was up. They immediately figured out that Kululu was responsible for the ship's new destination and how none of the computers were working.
"Kululu has been discovered as a traitor. Grab him immediately." A soldier ordered
Kululu had been discovered. No more information would be able to come from him.
Next chapter I might share with you the brilliant plot hole and stupidity I found in my chapter outline, concerning this chapter.
