Chapter 38: McFood Land Part 1
Another happy weekend arrived at the wonderful city of Norrisville. Thankfully, there was no monster or robot attacks this day.
Randy Cunningham and Jennifer Jackson, now a couple, had solved many evil schemes that involved monster attack and new robot invasions the day before. It was too much work for the two freshmen that they deserved a weekend break.
Now they were having a nice rest in their homes. It was still too early to go outside, so they were still sleeping.
At Jennifer's house...
The wind blew softly on the open window of Jennifer's room and the sun gave some light to the room. It was a bit dark inside before the rays of the sun entered her window.
Jennifer was sleeping in calm, covered by many sheets as the morning was so cold.
Just then, her lovely mother came in to wake her up. Today she had set a special appointment with Dr. Chung for her daughter. So now was the time to attend that appointment for Jennifer.
"Jenny... wake up, honey."
Jennifer immediately woke up to her mother's lovely voice, and smiled at her. "Morning, Mom."
"Get up and dress up quick, darling. Today's your appointment at the hospital."
Jennifer's smile faded and her face had a mix of confusion and nervousness. "Appointment? I never heard of an appointment of any kind. And the last time I was sent to the hospital was because of my stomach problem."
"Well, your father just got a call from the McFist Industries. They said that five of your classmates were chosen for a special trip. And they chose you! So, they told us to get you as ready and healthy as possible. Actually, the science group from the Industries created a..."
"A vaccine?!" Jennifer exclaimed with big eyes. "No honkin' way, Mom! I'm already healthy enough!"
Little did her mother knew that Jennifer actually knows about McFist and Viceroy, so Jennifer secretly thought it was all a trick.
"No complaints, little lady. We must get to the hospital today or we'll miss your important vaccine."
"I bet this is all a trick to get the Ninjas. It is on, sassy girl! It... is... on!" Jennifer thought.
Later, at the hospital...
Jennifer already got her vaccine, and she was rubbing her arm, which throbbed painfully. She and her mom were already heading out.
"Ow... ow... ow... ow... ow... ow..." Winced Jennifer as she kept rubbing her right arm.
"Oh, darling, don't do that. It was just a little pinch, nothing else."
"Mom, please. It really hurt." Jennifer moaned. "Ow..."
Once they walked out of the hospital, they were being spotted by a strange human being. The person was a young man, but he was unseen because of the shadows that hid his real identity. The only thing that was seen about him was his glowing brown eyes.
He knew the girl was one of the five teens that were chosen for their mysterious trip to another alternate universe, but he could feel he had seen her before. She reminded him so much of the Kunoichi for some odd reason.
The previous day, at McFist Industries...
"Your silly robots failed to destroy those Ninjas! If we keep failing then we'll never free the Sorcerer!" Hannibal McFist, who was sitting next to his desk, yelled at Viceroy.
"We could've destroyed them if they didn't interfered to stop my creations."
"MY CREATIONS!" Hannibal yelled, but then lowered his voice and said "Continue."
"We need something extremely powerful, so powerful that not even a single Ninja can defeat it."
On the second he said that, the intercom was on.
"Mister McFist, there's a strange boy here who wants to see you." Said a Robo-Ape through the intercom.
"TELL HIM TO COME IN!" He yelled, then cleared his throat and continued. "While I meet the "strange boy", focus on something. We'll destroy those Ninjas one by one, and the Sorcerer will finally be set free!"
"It'll be my pleasure, sir."
Viceroy left immediately, and just then, the strange boy came in.
His identity was unknown, as he was wearing dark clothes and he had his mouth covered. His black hair covered most of his face, except his left eye, which was vivid brown.
"So, you must be Hannibal McFist, ruler of this awesome empire."
"You're well informed, kid." Smiled Hannibal, then pressed a button on the intercom device. "BRING UP A SEAT!"
In a flash, a Robo-Ape came in with a luxurious red couch that had the logo of McFist for the guy to sit. The boy found it too comfortable as he sat, so he sat with style, showing that he was kind of a cool person.
"So, tell us about you, boy."
"Boy?" The guy laughed. "My author doesn't call me by that. Name's Maximus, but you can just call me M."
"Very well, M... So, what are you here for?"
"I know things about you more than anybody in this city. In public, you're the most famous and beloved man in town, but in secrecy, you're a nefarious villain who plans to destroy the Norrisville Ninja and release an evil Sorcerer that has been trapped for exactly eight hundred years. Whoa, that guy must be really old!" He exclaimed that last part out loud.
Hannibal stood silent for a bit. "Yeah... so, why are you so interested to know that?"
"I've seen a female who looks exactly like the Ninja and has a strong connection with him. And I've heard that some science dude wants something powerful than an 800 year-old Sorcerer. If you hire me, I'd be pleased to help you get what you want. You know, I'm the most powerful being in existence. I'm like a god, man."
Hannibal spat out a of his coffee when he heard the word "god" and contacted Viceroy through the intercom.
"Viceroy, GET OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!"
M smiled at the fact that he was going to be hired. He had a secret plan to get the two Ninjas, and he had all the power he needed to do so.
"You've been hired, M! You will help destroy those Ninjas and then I will get my reward!"
"And what's left for me? I mean, I'm the one with the plans."
"Right... Well, we... will get that reward for ourselves!"
"So, we made a deal."
They both shook hands and smiled evilly after that, then they laughed.
Back to Today...
"So, what is this trip thing about?" Jennifer asked curiously.
"The McFist Industries created a new kind of device that teleports people to any alternate universe of their own creation. And as a special occasion, they chose you and other four students to test it out in punlic for the very first time."
"Interesting. So that's why they want me fully prepared, huh?"
"Yes. Dr. Chung used a whole new medicine that makes you immune to anything. So that way you won't get sick during your trip."
"I know I'm asking too much, Mom. But did he actually created that, or was the medicine given to him by any chance?"
"Well, the science chief of the Industries created the vaccine and sent a small sample to the hospital."
"Viceroy..." Jennifer thought with malice.
"Well, besides getting you fully healthy, I got your bag full of some important things you need. And, by the way, where'd you got a strange black book?"
"Oh my Ninja, she's talking about the Nomicon!"
Jennifer didn't knew what to say. She felt a little bit jittery when her mother mentioned the Nomicon. "Well, um, Randy says it's a good story book. So I told him if I could borrow it for a couple of days."
"That's interesting. You sure have a love for reading just like your dad."
She silently sighed in relief. Her parents didn't had to know her Ninja secret for their own sake.
"So, Mom, when will I go to that trip?"
"At noon. But for now I'll just work with the candy shop. Most people love my masterpiece, the delicious Swirl Cake."
"Swirl Cake? How does it taste like?"
Her mother was about to answer before her phone rang. It was Mr. Jackson. Jennifer's phone also rang.
"Oh, it's Randy." She said before answering the call. "Hey, love bird! What's up?"
"Hi, beautiful." He said through the phone. "Hey, I heard some rumors about a special trip going on. I've been chosen to go, and you?"
Jennifer was so excited to know her very own boyfriend was going to the trip as well. "Same! So we'll go to that trip together. But they said only five of us were chosen. Do you know about the other three?"
"Well, Howard texted me, and he said he was also selected."
"Whoa. Awesome. And the other two?"
"We still don't know. But we'll find out once we get there."
"Okay. So... wanna' grab some candy before we go?"
"Totally! I'll be right there when you are."
"Okay. Catch you then, Ran."
At the McCandy Paradise Shop, thirty minutes before noon...
Jennifer stared aimlessly at the view while eating some chocolate ice cream with cookie chunks. She was waiting for Randy to come by. She had arrived less than five minutes after he called her, and now she was there waiting patiently for him.
"Come on, Randy. I know you're taking too long, and an evil scheme doesn't take too long to solve."
She took another bite from her ice cream before she heard someone at the door. It was Randy and Howard.
"Hello, Mrs. Jackson." Randy greeted with a smile, waving a hand.
"Oh! Hi, Randy and Howard. How's your day been, boys?"
"Pretty weird in my opinion." Said Howard.
Jennifer stopped eating her ice cream and jumped off her seat to see her very own boyfriend.
"Randy!"
She jumped to him and embraced him in a big, lovely hug. Then they shared a kiss... in front of Howard, who exclaimed in disgust.
"Gross..."
They withdrew from each other after the kiss.
Jennifer sighed. "I so wanted to see you, Ran. Where have you been?"
"Well, the Ninja had to solve another evil scheme. Sorry if I took so long."
"No, it's okay. Don't worry about it."
Mrs. Jackson came up with a tray that had three sundae cups. She placed it on the table for the teens to eat and enjoy.
"Here, this is something I created myself. It's called the Choco-Mix ice cream. Hope you enjoy."
Jennifer immediately went to pick up three plastic spoons and an extra chair since there were only two chairs next to the table. They sat down and began eating their ice cream.
"Mom sure knows how to create the most delicious ice cream ever. You know, for hot times like in summer, this works well to cool you down."
"You know, your mom's got to give us a special discount." Said Howard. "These desserts can't be any more bruce."
"She already did that, H. I just didn't told you." Smiled Jennifer.
Howard's eyes brightened. "ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Why didn't you told me so?"
"Well, I like to make surprises, so... surprise!"
There was a sudden ringing sound coming from the counter. It was a small alarm clock.
"Oh! It's time! We have to go before we're late at the festival."
Randy and Jennifer looked at each other.
"Festival?" They said to each other.
...
The whole town was really crowded this day. And as Mrs. Jackson said, the special trip to another universe was about to begin, and there was a huge festival to celebrate such event with five freshmen from Norrisville High.
On a stage was an unrevealed object that was placed on some corner, and on the center of the stage was a circular metallic floor that had some weird science details. And standing there were none but Theresa Fowler and Debby Kang. They were also selected to join Randy, Howard and Jennifer to the special trip.
"I wonder how the special trip will be like." Said Debby, who jumped with excitement. "I'm so eager to see another Mexican Death Bear!"
"I'm not really sure how it will be like, but maybe it'll be bruce." Said Theresa.
...
"Wow. The whole city is crowded. I never thought it was going to be such a huge festival." Said Jennifer.
"I know. It's such a surprise. And I'm a little anxious to know the remaining two people who were chosen to join us." Said Randy.
"Oh, please. It's not a big deal. It's just a small little round trip, and then there's nothing else." Said Howard.
"Just a little round trip?" Repeated Jennifer with such a face. "You don't even know what the trip is about and now you're saying it's just a "little round trip"? Open your eyes, dude. Maybe it's not what we all think it will be."
"I guess you're right." He replied.
"This is very exciting! It's like a whole ceremony in honor of the five travelers!" Said Mrs. Jackson excitedly. "It's the first time they do something like this in the history of Norrisville."
"I can't agree more with you, Mom."
They stopped walking when they heard everybody cheering. The main creators of the festival have arrived, and it was time to go up to the stage.
"I guess it's time to go." Said Mrs. Jackson. She held her daughter's cheeks nicely. "Take care, honey. Remember that you've got friends to stand beside you, no matter what. And I'm sure the Ninja and Kunoichi will be protecting you."
Jennifer laughed. "I know, Mom. Don't worry."
Her mother gave her a sweet kiss in the forehead before she left with Randy and Howard to go up to the stage.
As they made their way to the stage, before they walked up the little stairway, they surprisingly found themselves with their very own enemies, McFist and Viceroy.
Since Jennifer was in the middle, she expanded her arms out in front of the boys. She had a bad feeling about the whole festival thing and the vaccine she was injected with.
"McFist..." Randy muttered.
"I should've known these two made the whole thing." Jennifer thought.
"Uh, Jenn? Is everything okay?" Randy asked.
She reacted to his question and lowered her arms as if nothing ever happened. "Um, yeah! Everything's cool, you guys. I was just a little, well... jittery." She let out a fake laugh at that last part.
"Well well well, if it isn't the three little musketeers." Said Hannibal with a strange look that scared Jennifer just a little. He later changed his facial expression to a welcoming smile. "Welcome, younglings, to the McUniversal Festival!"
"McUniversal Festival?" Repeated Jennifer. "So, is it all true? You know, this thing of traveling to an alternate universe? Because that sounds interesting to me, to the three of us."
Randy and Howard nodded together in agreement.
"Well, indeed it is! We hope you enjoy your special trip."
Hannibal then turned his eyes to Willem and muttered "Did you gave them the formula yet, Viceroy?"
As they had some little chatter, Jennifer turned to the boys.
"I still wonder what the trip is about. I mean, Mom said it was going to be, like, some extraordinary thing, so..."
Without even expecting it, the teens felt a pinch on their arms. Jennifer felt it first, then Howard, and then Randy.
"Ow! What the juice?!" Randy yelled.
"That is a hunger formula. In about 20 minutes you'll feel hungry." Explained Viceroy.
"Hungry? Why would we? We had some nice ice cream minutes ago." Said Randy with a fake smile. "Right, guys?"
Howard and Jennifer nodded in agreement.
"Well, we should probably go up to the stage, don't you think?" Jennifer said with a mix of nerves and suspicion. She turned to Viceroy without making eye contact. She had her eyes closed and forced up another fake smile. "Whatever that was, thanks. It was nice to see you. Well... bye!"
They quickly walked up the stairway and into the stage, and both Howard and Randy were surprised to see Theresa and Debby standing there.
Randy knew Theresa still had a crush on him, as she blushed when she came to see him.
"Hi, Randy." She sweetly said, then her eyes fell on Jennifer. "Oh. Is this the new girl from school?"
Jennifer just looked away nervously.
Randy looked at Jennifer, who was still a little nervous, then looked back at Theresa. "Yeah, she is. Maybe she's a little jittery by now, so let's just let her keep her cool."
"Oh, okay."
Randy turned to Jennifer, who had a worried look.
"Hey, it's just a trip. Don't worry, it won't be that bad."
"The trip is not what worries me, Randy. l have a bad feeling about all of this, about what that sassy science wacko injected us with, and about... what was that scheme about?"
"Some weird hooded guy invaded the city. But it's cool now. The Ninja solved the problem."
They ended with their chatter when the people of Norrisville cheered out loud and applauded for the five travelers. There was a shower of colorful confetti everywhere.
"Citizens of Norrisville! Welcome to the McUniversal Festival!"
Fireworks exploded high, filling the sky with color. Just then, Hannibal and Willem came up to the stage and stood in front of the kids.
McFist patted the microphone a bit before he spoke.
"Hello, Norrisville!"
The crowd cheered louder for just a few seconds before he continued.
"As a special event, I would like to thank these brave younglings for volunteering as the first five travelers of the McUniversal Festival. Also, thanks to the efforts of my great friend, Willem Viceroy..."
"He has never thanked me for something like that." Said Viceroy with what was a cocked eyebrow.
"...We are able to travel to many alternate universes! Imagine what kind of universe these five younglings will see for the very first time."
"I can't wait to see that. Maybe it'll be like the Grave Puncher universe, or the McSquiddle universe. Or maybe it'll be some kind of foreign world with strange things we have never seen."
"What makes you think we'll see strange things we've never seen?" Asked Debby Kang with sort of a rude tone in her voice. "I don't think that's gonna' happen."
"Don't make me feel disappointed, Kang. I'm already imagining the whole thing!"
Debby crossed her arms at Howard's nonsense.
Viceroy then whispered something to Hannibal's ear, interrupting his speech. The blonde businessman then cleared his throat and continued.
"We would like to present to you, the amazing universe teleportation device!"
Just then, Viceroy uncovered the mysterious device, only to reveal some sort of gun-like machine that had a few tech stuff. The people of Norrisville admired it with big eyes.
"This wonderful device is equiped with the highest quality teleportation power, allowing its user to travel to many alternate universes. And because today is the first time it's shown in public, the McFist Industries chose these five humble volunteers to test it." Said Viceroy.
"Now, with your permission, we'd like to start with the teleportation process along with our alternate universe guide!"
The people applauded as a hooded person entered the stage with a remote that had a single red button. Randy didn't bothered to look at the person, but then his eyes kind of widened when he saw the mysterious being standing there. He held Jennifer's hand a bit tightly.
"Randy, are you okay?" She whispered to him.
He dropped a sweat and looked at Jennifer. "I think I know the guy."
The person then revealed his true identity to everyone. He was an 18 year-old teenage guy, he had curly, black hair, tan skin, and light brown eyes. He had a mask that covered only his mouth. He wore a black vest that had a blue and yellow M on the left side, and under it wore a jacket that had a hoodie. He also had black jogging pants and blue tennis shoes.
"Well, do you know him or not?" Jennifer asked.
Randy thought he wasn't the guy he fought against, and shook his head. "Maybe I'm just losing my head."
Jennifer rested a hand over his shoulder. "Relax, Ran. It was just a little scheme. I'm not sure if something else is coming to fight against us."
She and Randy were making eye contact, and they soon looked away from each other, already starting to blush.
Their attention then turned to the metallic circular floor below their feet. Some poles came out and upwards, and some lightning sparked on each pole. The people applauded for that.
The teens had their own expressions when this happened. Howard was way too excited for the trip to begin, Debby wasn't that much excited, Randy's eyes widened just a bit before he then felt a hand grabbing his.
He looked at Theresa, who was getting scared on that moment. It was not long after that he felt another hand gripping his left hand, but a bit tightly.
He watched as Jennifer did some breathing exercise she was taught by the First Ninja in the past. He could say Jennifer was getting nervous, but with every breath she took, she could easily calm down.
"Jenn?" He called, smiling at her.
She looked at him. "What? First Ninja said I should do this whenever I'm feeling nervous."
Randy tightened his grip on her hand. She blushed so hard and felt her heart beating like a hammer.
When the machine was fully ready, the mysterious teenager stood behind the five freshmen.
Hannibal, his wife Marci and Willem stood not too far from the machine. The scientist was holding a small remote with a single red button, and pressed it without a moment's hesitation.
Soon enough, the machine reached its full power, and a strong light emerged from the poles. Then... they were gone.
...
The teens traveled to the speed of light to a mysterious alternate universe, and screamed at their highest when they felt themselves falling from the high skies.
But instead of hitting the ground, they bounced on many giant marshmallows and gelatin until they landed on a chocolaty ground, and Jennifer fell on a chocolaty river that was next to the spot.
Randy removed his jacket and jumped straight to the chocolaty river to get her out. She reached the surface, inhaling some air, and then stared at Randy in the eyes.
"Are you okay, Jennifer?" He asked to her kindly.
Jennifer smiled. "Are we swimming in chocolate?"
"I guess." Said Randy before he took a sip of the chocolaty river. "Oh my Ninja, you guys have to taste this!"
Howard, Debby and Theresa came closer to the river and also took a sip. The taste of chocolate was so irresistible and delicious that they kept drinking some more.
"Randy's right. This tastes so good!" Said Theresa before she took another sip.
Soon enough, Randy and Jennifer got out of the chocolaty river, and they were both soaked in water, probably because they were full of chocolate.
"What the juice? Who did this?" Asked Jennifer.
Her question was never answered. However, a male voice surprised the teens.
"Looks like somebody needed a quick shower. Falling on some chocolate irresistible is not something I've seen."
A light flashed in front of the five teens, and when it faded, the mysterious alternate universe being appeared.
"Good afternoon, amigos mios! Welcome to the delicious land of food, McFood Land! I'll be your guide to deliciousness! Me llamo M!"
"What the juice is he saying?" Howard asked, not really understanding what M said.
Debby looked at him with such a look. "Shoob! He said his name is M. You should be learning some more Spanish back at school."
"M?" Asked Jennifer. "That's too short for a name."
He suddenly appeared next to Jennifer, and wrapped an arm behind her neck. "My author decided to call me that. He thinks the abbreviation "OC" is weird for me." He whispered to her.
"From what universe are you, exactly?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
M didn't answered her question as he was about to begin with his job as the guide. "Follow me, amigos! And please enjoy your visit to the land of comida deliciosa!"
In front of the teens was a whole food paradise. There was all kinds of food scattered everywhere, and in all sizes.
They all stared at the land in front of them with huge eyes.
"This is so deliciously bruce!" Randy exclaimed, but then felt his stomach grumbling so hard. "Argh! I'm hungry."
Hearing this from Randy, Jennifer thought of the moment they were injected with the hunger formula and now, and let out a gasp.
"I knew it!" She exclaimed.
Howard let out a loud burp after eating a big sized pizza slice. "Knew what?"
"Viceroy injected the three of us with some kind of hunger formula. He made us hungry so we could eat food from this universe, which is weird. I never thought he could do something like that... I guess he's up to something."
Her attention turned to Randy, who ate a few fruits in one second.
"Wow. I also never thought you became so food-obsessed because of that."
"You have to eat some of this, Jenn! It's amazing!"
"But... You don't even..."
Her stomach growled afterwards. She somehow had to find out why they were in the new world, but her sudden feeling of hunger made her leave her problems aside and eat some food.
Everyone was enjoying some of their favorite foods. From hot dogs to tacos, pizza and lasagne, sushi, various meat selections, fruits, vegetables, juices, soda, candies, ice cream, pastries, toppings and sauces.
M watched as they kept eating. He chewed some of a green apple he was holding. Some juice streamed down his cheek, but he wiped it all out with a hand.
His eyes saw Jennifer. He had a strange feeling about her. And she still reminded him so much of the Kunoichi.
"Hey, M! Where's the McSquiddle zone?" Called Howard.
"Vos lo encontrarás si me sigues, gordito!" Responded M as he walked away.
"I still don't know what you're saying!" He yelled at M, who just kept walking off.
Debby stood beside him and gave him some translations.
"It would be better if we follow him, chubby." She said, nudging him in the arm. "He says we can find it if we do."
She and Theresa walked off, leaving the chubby boy to his thoughts before Randy then stood beside him, holding a pretzel stick.
"This is like an endless hunger, don't you think?"
Howard didn't answered for a moment.
"Kang just called me chubby." He said kind of angrily.
"Howard, forget it. She can be a little meanie sometimes, but that was nonsense. So, McSquiddle time?"
Randy held out a fist. Howard let go of such anger and smiled at him.
"McSquiddle time."
They performed a small bro slap then.
"Hey, Jackson! Wanna' grab some McSquiddles with us?"
Both saw Jennifer next to a mountain of spaghetti and meatballs with marinara sauce. She was eating the spaghetti like crazy with a pair of chopsticks before she heard them calling her.
"Just a minute!"
"Wow. Look at her, eating spaghetti like if she was in a food contest." Said Howard with big eyes. "Cunningham, she's kind of freaking me out. You know what, I'll be leaving with M and the girls. You go and talk to her."
Howard turned heels and walked off, still thinking that Jennifer looked like a food zombie.
Randy walked towards her and watched as she ate like crazy. Some of her mouth was full of sauce. She stopped eating when she saw Randy staring at her.
"Wanna' grab some McSquiddles, Jenn?"
"Oh, sure." She said, getting up. "But this is so weird. I feel like I have some unstoppable hunger, and yet I don't feel full enough. I wonder what that sassy wacko did to our stomachs."
"Why do you worry so much? This is awesome. You should be enjoying it instead of sitting somewhere and think about such issue."
"I guess you're right. But we can't just wander around and do nothing. If there is problem, we've got to act."
Later...
As the guide, M showed the five freshmen some of the many foods he liked. He was from Argentina, so apparently there was some traditional food from his homeland.
"This here is the Traditional Food zone, where you can eat many traditional meals from different countries of your universe. My favorite is the Asado Argentino."
"Ooh... awesome."
M gave some of the food to the teens. Jennifer and Randy didn't wanted some, so they just stood there staring at their partners eat the traditional food. M was smiling at their expressions.
"It's so good. I can admit it, guys. This place is really cool." Said Debby with a smile.
They laughed a bit and walked to see more delicious traditional meals from other countries.
...
Floating in the high skies, M watched them walk off. He had some nasty plans in mind, and he was planning to set something horrible on Jennifer.
His eyes fell on her. She and Randy were running to some other spot to eat more food. He heard them laughing so hard that their guts hurt so bad.
He dug a hand on a pocket and pulled out a small syringe that had green liquid inside.
"Vos sos tan linda, chica. But your end will come."
...
"Sweet cheese! Are those giant nachos?"
In front of Randy, Howard and Jennifer was a whole nacho zone. There were giant and tiny nachos and a pool of melty cheese. This gave them some more hunger, because the formula was still making some effect on them, so they ran off to eat like crazy.
Howard, who was crazy enough, jumped to the pool of cheese yelling out a cannonball. He had a bunch of nachos beside him, so he dipped them in cheese and ate them.
Jennifer chewed a spicy nacho. It sure was delicious, but her throat was burning. She hurried to search for something cold, but ended up falling to the pool of cheese. Some of that cheese splashed right on Howard's face.
When she reached the surface, she looked at Weinerman with a look of guilt in her face.
"Sorry."
...
"Here is the Mexican Food zone. Enjoy your meals." Announced M.
"Sweet! Tacos!"
As always, Howard was the first to grab a bite. He ate five tacos in a row, and still wanted some more.
But this time, he was the only one who kept eating. The rest watched as he went here and there with some food in hand.
"Hey, I don't know if I should ask this, but... doesn't all this food make us fat?" Asked Theresa.
Hearing this, Howard stopped eating and turned to Theresa with a sad face.
"Why... why did you said that, Fowler? Now I can't eat these bruce-tastic burritos!"
"I think she's right." Said Jennifer. "If I keep eating these... Ugh! I'm gonna' be fat!"
"Guys, relax. We might be fat if we eat a lot of food, but not if we take just a bit." Said Randy.
"The boy is right." Said M's voice.
M suddenly appeared in front of them. "All this food doesn't make you fat. So you can keep eating it. What's left is the purity and deliciousness it has."
"So you're saying we can eat anything without a problem?" Asked Howard, who then got soaked in water, much to his dismay.
"That's right, gordito! Enjoy your meals!"
And then he just disappeared.
The group stood silent after M was gone.
"So, what now?" Howard asked.
"How about some ice cream?" Said Jennifer with excitement.
Everyone cheered out loud. But before they started walking, they felt the cookie dough ground shaking hard.
"Uh... you guys?"
They remained silent and still before a giant chocolate man came out of the cookie dough ground and roared at the teens.
"You guys, run!"
They all ran off, with Jennifer guarding their backs. The chocolate monster sprinted at them and tried to catch them, but he never succeeded.
"Jenn, keep up the pace!" Yelled Randy.
She tried so hard to run faster, but with all the food she ate she couldn't.
"I think I'm gonna' hurl..."
She fell to the ground afterwards. The chocolate giant was already getting closer to her.
...
The teens hid on the ice cream zone for safety. Even though Howard ate some of the ice cream.
"Okay. There's Howard, Kang, Theresa... wait a minute, where's Jennifer?"
A sudden call alerted them. Randy quickly peeked his head out to see what was going on.
"RANDY, HELP ME!"
Randy gasped at the sight of his girlfriend in danger.

I want to say is I'm terribly sorry for taking too long to update this chapter. It took me a while to think some more, and the second part will be out soon! So, keep an eye for updates, people! :)
I also want to say that this chapter was kind of based off the movie Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, and the character called Maximus, or M, belongs to Usuario Nicolas. He gave me permission to use him. He won't make any more appearances in this fanfic, except for the part two.
And this story is reaching its conclusion, but there will be a sequel to this story! I don't know when I will start with the sequel, but I'll keep my word.
