Chapter 37- Magician's Magic

Keenan and Rex continued their duel, with the former still upset about Rex's betrayal. Rex explained his past, but lost to Keenan's determination.

Deep in you (The scene opens up to Keenan Serpentine, who's waking up and heading outside)

How to find the strength inside? (Kalka appears before the walking Keenan and Keenan activates his Duel Disk)

It challenges you

Taking all that you can find(It pans to Keenan, whose losing, but a Xavier, with a silhouetted warrior, appears in front of Keenan and puts its hand on Keenan's shoulder, giving him strength)

It's alright, trust in yourself

So come on, it's because you've come this far (Then, Kalka disappears and Keenan and Xavier run forward)

It's waiting for you (A whirlwind strikes the ground in front of them, stopping them. Keenan looks behind him and sees Harper and Harpie Lady, behind her)

You must raise yourself above and touch the sky (The Materia Organization, then appear, stopping Keenan and his friends)

The dreams we see so far (Keenan imagines dueling a silhouetted woman and smiles)

Together makes us who we are (Harper and Xavier stand behind Keenan in support)

So don't let go, you know we're almost there(It begins to rain and Keenan, dueling the Materia Organization, with Shining Werewolf in front of him, reaches for his Life Point counter, trying to give up. But another Blake appears and smiles, and points to the sky where Hyper Psychic Blaster/Assault Mode appears and shot at the figures with its gun-like weapon)

I see you, endless gazing up to the sky, wondering why (Something causes Keenan to look up to the sky and an image of Keenan's mother smiling appears. A hand touches his shoulder and he looks back to see just a glimpse of her before she disappears)

And you feel you can't go on, but you know this isn't the end (Keenan smiles and with his friends' support, he causes the Materia Organization to disappear and the three continue to run)

So come on, it's a lie when shaking in fear(As they're running, Trixie Strike with a silhouetted monster flying with her and Will Hide with Dark Sage joins them, but the ground in front of them then rumbles and from it emerges Blue Eyes White Dragon, with Vestal, standing on top of it)

You're fooling yourself(Keenan gets knocked back, but his friends encourage him to get back up. Yamato, with Red Eyes Black Dragon, appears and begins fighting Vestal and the Blue-Eyes White Dragon. Keenan yells, and with Red Eyes' Black Dragon's support, Vestal and Blue-Eyes White Dragon disappears)

It is true you'll never run away from here(The seven friends continue to run and the sun comes out and they stop. Keenan draws the top card of his deck and raises it to the sky as Shining Werewolf appears and he and his friends' monsters stand behind their respective owners)

"Where is the one with the Spellcasters!?" Kalka roared. Kalka, along with Vestal, were walking the streets, dueling and talking to everyone; to see if they know about the one with the Spellcasters, or if they were the one. "N-no! No! I don't even know what you're talking about!?" A kid cried. Kalka threw the kid to the ground and growled. "He's not the one!"

"We must find the one with the Spellcasters." Vestal said. "Vince will be very angry."

"Screw Vince! If he wants this kid, why doesn't he come find him himself!?"

"Shut your mouth Kalka! Vince knows what we all want."

"No he doesn't! All he cares about is Rex, Nocturnal and Jimmy!"

"Relax, once we get the Chosen One, we all will be immortal."

"Whatever. Hey! Kid!"

"Huh? What?"

"Got any Spellcasters in your deck?"

"Yeah, why?"

"Ha! Vestal, we found him! Kid, duel me!" The two took their spots and began a duel.

The gang was at the hospital; Keenan was hurt during his duel with Rex, though Keenan didn't want to be there. "I'm okay guys! Let's go after Vince! Ugh…"

"No Keenan!" Trixie said. "You're hurt and you need to rest."

"But Vince! He's still out there! He needs to be stopped!"

"And we'll stop him! But I don't want to see you hurt. Will you please rest? For me?"

"…Yeah. I'll rest. I just don't want anyone else hurt." Keenan looked over to Yamato and Blake and they looked weak and pale. "Guys! Are you alright!?"

"Y-yeah. Agh…ugh….we're good. But…." Blake said. "Trixie, Xavier. You…you…two have…have to find whoever has…ugh…Spellcasters."

"Spellcasters? Xavier, haven't we seen someone with Spellcasters?" Trixie asked.

"Xavier…." Keenan said weakly.

"Yeah Keenan. I know. Trixie, we need to go to the Raga Shop."

"Right. Keenan, will you guys be alright?" Keenan nodded, and then the two headed for the Raga Shop. Keenan then looked over to Harper, who had her head down. "Hey Harper, aren't you…going with them?"

Harper shook her head to give the answer, and then said, "No. Trixie doesn't like me. She hates me. I don't think she'll want me with her."

"Go on. We'll be alright. Trixie is just angry. Trust me."

"But I want to be here with you. I have to take care of you."

"Trust me, I'll be okay. Please."

"O-okay."

Xavier, Trixie, and Harper, who caught up with the two, much to Trixie's disgust, made their way to the Rage Shop and walked in. "Hey you guys. It's been a while since I've seen you. Hey, where're Keenan, Yamato and Blake?" Jim asked.

"Well…they got hurt. They're in the hospital." Xavier said.

"Oh really!? Are they alright!?"

"Yeah. Well, not really. But that's why we're here. Is Will here today?"

"Uh, yeah. He's in the back. Will! Will! Come out here!" Will immediately emerged from the back, to which Harper's eyes widened a little. "Wow…he's tall."

"Um, hi guys. What…what are you doing here?"

"Well, first, this is our friend Harper."

"His friend." Trixie corrected. Will turned to Harper and his eyes widened. He blushed. "Oh wow! Do people stare? You know…down there?"

"What? What are you…ugh! How rude!" Will put his hands up in defense while Trixie and Xavier busted out laughing.

Calming down and getting back to the reason they dropped by, Xavier made a straight face and said, "W-Will. Seriously, Keenan, Blake and Yamato are in trouble!"

"Really? What happened!?"

"Well, it's a long story. But some bad guys hurt them and we think you're the only one who can help our friends."

"Me? What can I do? I'm...just a guy working at the Raga shop." Will said very shyly.

"Well, they want to become immortal and they need you to do so."

"They need me? But why?"

"Please, will you help us? Blake and Yamato will die if you don't!"

"Die? I…I don't want that to happen. Tell me what I have to do."

Back at the Materia Base, Vestal and Kalka returned, without the one with the Spellcasters, much to Vince's anger. Vince raised his hand and his dark mark shined, throwing the two back into the wall hard. "I am growing tired of this Kalka and Vestal. Will Jimmy and Nocturnal have to do everything?"

"Why don't you go find this punk if you're so obsessed with him!?" Kalka yelled out. Jimmy was in the room, watching, and he didn't take kindly to what Kalka said. He was about to react but Vince stopped him. "Enough Jimmy. Listen well you two. If I do not get to the Heaven's Gate with the Chosen One, then we will not become immortal. Stop being useless and go follow Keenan and his friends. I have no doubt they will find the boy with the Spellcasters."

"….."

"Do I have to repeat myself?"

"No sir." Vestal said. The two bowed before disappeared. Then Jimmy growled. "That Kalka is becoming a pain Vince."

"Yes."

"You think he will try to rebel?"

"Eh, we'll see."

"Do you want me to follow them?"

"No…" Suddenly, a kid came running in, screaming. "No! Stay away from me! Don't hurt me!" The kid was running away from Nocturnal; who had blood dripping from his mouth. The boy's right arm was bitten off. "What the…!? Nocturnal!" Jimmy yelled. Nocturnal then lunged at the kid and started feeding on him, like an alligator catching his prey. Nocturnal ripped virtually every part of the kid's body and feasted on it, getting blood all over him and the floor. Some blood even got on Jimmy, whose eyes widened. Nocturnal ate the kid completely and looked at Jimmy, like a rabid dog; growling and foam at the mouth. Though, it was more blood than foam. Nocturnal then lunged at Jimmy. Unable to act, Jimmy stepped back in fear. Then, Vince emerged in front of Jimmy and grabbed Nocturnal's face with his hand. Then, he blasted him into the wall. Vince then looked over to Jimmy, who looked shocked.

"W-what is Nocturnal!?" Jimmy asked.

"It's complicated. Nonetheless, his cravings are out of control. Did Nocturnal leave to retrieve that kid?"

As per orders, Kalka and Vestal were following the gang, though it was only Xavier, Trixie, Will and Harper, the latter, much to Trixie's disdain. "Ugh…why are you even here Harper? No one likes you."

"Xavier and Will do." She rebutted.

"Come on, shorties, there's no reason to yell at each other." Xavier said.

"Yeah right."

"So, Xavier, about those bad guys, why are they so interested in me?" Will asked.

"You're the one with Spellcasters, which is apparently what they need to get closer to immortality."

"Immortality?"

"Yeah. But we can't let them get you."

"On the contrary boy, we have got you." A voice said. The gang turned around, and gasped at seeing Kalka and Vestal, to whom the latter smiled. "It seems we found the one with the Spellcasters Kalka."

"Ha ha! Yeah it does! You're coming with us boy!"

"That's not happening G!" Xavier yelled. "If you want him, you'll have to duel us first!"

"Are you suggesting a Tag Team duel? Hmmm…sounds interesting. But no, we'll take him by force." Vestal and Kalka were about to react, but were stopped when Vince appeared. "That's quite enough you two. It seems you two did well for a change. So, you there. You must be the one with the Spellcasters. We need you and we will get you."

"Enough Vince! Where's Nocturnal!?" Xavier asked.

"Nocturnal? What does he have with you?"

"Will is going to duel him!"

"Really? So you want another one of your friends to get hurt? Eh, so be it. You two shall duel down at the pier; that is, after all, where Rex lost to the Chosen One." Not knowing about that duel, Vestal and Kalka gasped. "Sir! Are you joking? Rex lost!?" Vestal asked.

"Yes, he did. I was truthfully surprised he did. Nonetheless, he served his usefulness."

"Don't say that!" Xavier yelled. "He was our friend!"

"Emphasis on 'our'. Either way, if you want to duel Nocturnal boy, meet us at the pier in an hour." And with that, the three villains disappeared in an appeared portal.

"Grrr…we better go tell the others!" Xavier said.

At the hospital, a shocked Keenan tried to get out of bed, although the doctor tried to stop him. "Keenan, you need to rest for another day."

"I can't! Look doctor! This is important! I'm not going to do anything rash!"

"Keenan, the doctor's right." Harper said.

"Trust me Harper, I'm alright. Xavier, what did Vince say?"

"He said to meet him at the pier in 45 minutes."

"Then we're going to the pier." And without listening to reason, Keenan, albeit weakly, headed out the room. Trixie and Harper followed him, followed by Will and Xavier.

45 minutes later, the Materia Organization appeared to the gang, with Nocturnal in front. Vince smiled. "Let's get this duel started, shall we?"

Will and Nocturnal took their spots and activated their Duel Gazers, and then their Duel Disks. Everyone donned their Duel Gazers and tattoo. The Augmented Reality activated. "Augmented Reality Vision Link Established."

"Will, are…ugh, are you sure you can handle this?" Keenan asked weakly.

"I don't like fighting and it seems if I don't win, it won't end...DUEL!"

"Ha ha! DUEL!" Nocturnal yelled.

Will: 4000
Nocturnal: 4000

Nocturnal raised his hand and his dark symbol glowed, conjuring the Shadow Province. "Now all damage is real."

"Real? Hopefully…I can win. I draw!" Will drew a card from his deck. "Um…let's see…I Normal Summon Gemini Elf in Attack Position." A set of twins, one with blonde hair, wearing a blue fur dress with gloves and the other with brunette hair, wearing a purple dress appeared. (ATK: 1900)

"I end my turn."

"Ha ha! Elves? Is that all you have? I'll beat you just like I beat the Chosen One! I draw!" Nocturnal drew a card and smiled. "I set a monster and end my turn."

"Draw." Will drew a card. "I Normal Summon Breaker, the Magical Warrior in Attack Position." A warrior, wearing red and gold armor, with purple orbs scattered around the armor, sword and shield, appeared. (ATK: 1600)

Just then, the purple orb on his sword lit up. "When this monster is Normal Summoned, he gets a Spell Counter. And I can remove it to destroy a Spell or Trap card on the field. Also Breaker gains 300 ATK." (SC: 1)(ATK: 1900)

"Gemini Elf, attack that face-down monster!" Gemini Elf ran up to the unknown monster and struck it, revealing it. A white-skinned sealmaster jiangshi with a bead necklace around his neck and a talisman on the front of its hat appeared. (DEF: 1800)

"Ha ha! When Ghostrick Jianghsi is flipped, my young snack, I can add a "Ghostrick" monster to my hand." Nocturnal fanned his deck and quickly added a card to it. Then Jianghsi shattered.

"Breaker, the Magical Warrior, attack directly!" Breaker ran up to Nocturnal and slashed him with his sword, though he seemed to not be fazed.

Nocturnal: 2100

"Agrehgh!" Nocturnal cried out.

"I end my turn." A face-down appeared. Nocturnal then drew a card. "I activate, Back from the Dead; I can Special Summon a Zombie-Type monster from my graveyard. Return! Jiangshi! Next, I Normal Summon Ghostrick Yeti in Attack Position." Jiangshi reappeared and Yeti appeared next to him. (ATK: 300)

"O-oh no! Now Nocturnal has two level 3 monsters!" Keenan cried out.

"Now, I overlay my two level 3 monsters to Xyz Summon Ghostrick Alcuard!" A portal appeared and the two monsters turned into orange and purple particles and disappeared into the portal. Ghostrick Alcuard emerged from it with two orbs of darkness floating around him. (ATK: 1800) (OLU: 2)

"I use Alcuard's second ability by detaching one of its Overlay Units, to destroy any face-down card on the field. Time to feed on that face-down!" One of the orbs disappeared and Alcuard opened his cape and bats emerged from it and shattered Will's face-down, revealed to be Magician's Circle.

"Then I activate Scare Roar. Say goodbye to your monsters fool, because your monsters are flipped face-down. Next, I activate Ghostrick Mansion." Both of Will's monsters turned face-down and the field suddenly started rumbling and a large mansion emerged from the ground. Everyone was then in a large room, with a couch, a table, a window, curtains, etc.

"Alucard, attack this boy directly!"

"What!? But how!? Will has monsters!" Keenan said.

"You fool!" Jimmy said. "Ghostrick Mansion allows Nocturnal to attack directly if you control only face-down monsters." Alcuard flew at Will and bit him. "AHHHHH!"

Will: 2200

"I set 1 card and end my turn." One card appeared. Will then drew a card. "That…was painful. I can't let people get hurt. I flip my monsters face-up and attack with Gemini Elf." Gemini Elf reappeared and attacked Alcuard and destroyed it.

Nocturnal: 2050

"Breaker, attack directly!" Breaker ran up to Nocturnal and slashed him. "Ugh!"

Nocturnal: 1100

"Wait, why are your Life Points so high? You should have 100 Life Points left."

"Ghostrick Mansion halves all damage we take from all monsters except "Ghostrick" monsters."

"So that means it'll be harder for Will to damage Nocturnal and Nocturnal has no limits!" Keenan said.

"I use Breaker's ability and remove that Spell Counter and destroy that face-down." The counter from Breaker's sword disappeared and Breaker rushed up to Nocturnal's face-down and slashed it. (ATK: 1600)

"I end my turn." A card appeared. Nocturnal then drew a card. "I Normal Summon Ghostrick Mummy. Next, I Normal Summon Ghostrick Ghoul in Attack Position."

"I use Ghoul's ability to have Ghoul's ATK become equal to my monsters' total ATK. Now it has 3100 ATK. Then I activate Ghost Trick. I can select a Ghostrick monster and it can attack an extra time for every Ghostrick monster I control. That means Ghoul can attack 3 times. This duel is over! Attack Gemini Elf and Breaker the Magical Warrior!" Ghoul approached Gemini Elf and destroyed her, then tried to attack Breaker. But a magic coffin attached to chains which were connected to a hollowed out steel container appeared. Breaker was placed into the coffin and it closed. Seconds later, the coffin opened and a magician wearing a white magician's outfit, gauntlets with a red orb embedded in each and carrying a one-pronged dagger with a blue orb embedded in it appeared.

Ghost Trick
Normal Spell

Target 1 "Ghostrick" monster you control. For every "Ghostrick" monster you control, the targeted monster can attack an extra time this turn.

"This is Cybernetic Magician. I summoned him through Magical Dimension. Also, I-I can destroy a monster too. And I choose your Ghoul."

"Alright! Without Ghoul, Nocturnal is in trouble!" Xavier cheered. Cybernetic Magician ran up to Ghostrick Ghoul and stabbed him with his dagger, destroying it.

Jimmy and Vince continued to watch, actually impressed by Will, to which Jimmy said with a smile, "the boy with the Spellcasters is very strong."

"Yes, stronger than I thought," Vince put in. "Nonetheless, the Chosen One lost to Nocturnal and so will this boy."

"If not, then I'll just finish the job."

"Ha ha! You're strong boy. I'll love to feast on you when I win. But better yet, how about now!?" Suddenly, out of nowhere, Nocturnal lunged towards Will, surprising him, and everyone else. "Time to feast! I want flesh!"

"No! Will!" Keenan yelled. Though, to the gang's surprise, Vince intercepted and put his palm to Nocturnal's chest. Vince's dark symbol glowed and then his hand glowed. A seal then appeared on Nocturnal's chest. "Nocturnal! That's quite enough! There will be none of that!"

"…Grrr." Nocturnal returned to his spot and the duel continued. But, however, before Nocturnal could continue, Keenan, weakly asked, "W-wait Vince, hold…on. Wh-what just happened!?"

"And why do you need to know Chosen One?" Jimmy asked, though Vince motioned that it was okay. "The truth is…I created Nocturnal years ago." The gang was shocked. "W-wait, so that means…Nocturnal isn't human!?" Xavier said.

"Of course he's not. Just look at him." Jimmy said.

"Yes. I created him 5 years ago, before I recruited Jimmy. Kalka and Vestal, like always, did not prove their worth, so I needed someone who was strong to serve me; Rex was still…heh, wet behind the ears, shall we say. Nonetheless, I took to science. I believe we all have heard of the story of Frankenstein. Though, the difference between them is that this is real life. Moving on, I created Nocturnal, using a drug I created prior. Needless to say, he became the person you see today."

"You're lying! If so, then why does Nocturnal look human? He has skin. You had to use another body or something!" Trixie said.

"Yes. You're right. Maybe I wasn't specific. I used the body of my father."

"Y-you…used your own father as a sacrifice!?" Xavier cried out, shocked, like the rest of the gang, although Keenan didn't seem to care.

"It was a necessary requirement to make. In reality, discounting Jimmy and myself, Nocturnal is far above anyone's level."

"You…ugh…you didn't answer my…question." Keenan said.

"I didn't?"

"You told me about him. I don't care. I want to know what just happened Vince! Agh!"

"Keenan, don't wear yourself out." Trixie said, holding him.

"I guess I didn't. Well, it seems to a side effect to the drug I used caused him to adapt a craving…"

"A craving for what?"

"A…craving…for human flesh…"

"Why?"

"It is a side effect of the drug. Nonetheless, it's time to get back to this duel. Nocturnal, finish your turn."

"Sir. I set 1 card and end my turn." A card appeared. (Nocturnal's Hand: 0)

"People shouldn't hurt people. That's not cool," Will said. "If I don't win this duel, there'll be more fighting. I draw!" Will drew. (Will's Hand: 4)

Will's hand contained Dharc, the Dark Charmer, Endymion, the Master Magician, The Tricky and Magical Blast.

"First, I activate The Tricky's ability; by discarding my Dark Charmer. I can Special Summon him." Will discarded and a yellow and black clown with a question mark on its stomach and its head and wearing a blue cape appeared. (ATK: 2000)

"Then, I Release them back to Tribute Summon Endymion, the Master Magician." The two Spellcasters disappeared and Endymion replaced them, much to the gang's delight. (ATK: 2700)

"Alright! It's Endymion!" Keenan said.

"He used that to defeat the ill business man, son!" Xavier said.

"Next, I discard Magical Blast to activate Endymion's effect which destroys mansion of yours." Will discarded and Endymion raised his staff and blasted Ghostrick Mansion, making it crumble to the ground, shocking Nocturnal. "Now, Endymion, attack Ghostrick Mummy!" Endymion raised his staff and blasted Mummy, shattering it and knocking Nocturnal back. Back then, an explosion occurred, knocking Will back. "ARGHH!"

Will: 1000
Nocturnal: 700

"I took damage!?…"

"I…I activated Ghost from Early Past. When a card is destroyed, this Trap goes with it. When it does, all damage I take is halved and you take double the damage I would have. I am more powerful than all of you!"

When a card you control is destroyed, all damage you take from 1 battle is halved. Your opponent then takes damage equal to double the amount.

"No-Nocturnal! As long as we have each other, we can't lose!" Keenan said.

"Friendship? Blah!"

"I end my turn." Nocturnal drew a card and quickly played it. "I activate the power of Dark World Dealings. We both draw a card but we must discard a card as a cost." Both duelists drew a card, but since those were their only cards, they had to discard their drawn cards. Though, based on Nocturnal's smile and Will's frown, the discard was good for the former but not the latter. And that was right, since Nocturnal pocketed the card he just discarded. "By banishing Ghost Trickster, I can draw a card…next, I Normal Ghost Reaper Monarch in Attack Position." The reaper of death look-a-like appeared. (ATK: ?)

Trixie stepped back in fear, saying, "Oh no. It's the monster Blake and Yamato lost to."

"Will…be…careful!" Keenan warned.

"My monarch gains 1000 ATK for every "Ghostrick" in my graveyard. There are 3 in my graveyard. Monarch, attack Endymion!" Monarch raised his scythe into the air and it absorbed darkness. Then it swiped his weapon at Endymion, shattering him. Will, though, put up his arms to reduce the impact. "Ahhh!"

Will: 900

"And that will end my turn."

Will drew a card and smiled. "I activate Swords of Revealing Light. That means you can't attack for 3 turns. I end my turn." 3 swords brimming with light descended from the sky and surrounded Nocturnal's side of the field. Nocturnal put his hands up in fear of the light and hissed. One of the light swords disappeared. Then Nocturnal drew a card. He quickly ended his turn. Then Will drew again. "I Normal Summon Apprentice Magician in Attack Position." A female magician with long blonde hair with a long red head wrap, wearing a blue magician's outfit with a white belt with a gold orb embedded on it, carrying a staff with a red orb in it appeared. (ATK: 400)

"I end my turn."

Nocturnal drew a card and, again, ended his turn without doing anything. A second light sword disappeared. Will drew again. "I Normal Summon Temperance Magician and end my turn." A woman wearing a blue and dark red magician's outfit holding two gold cups with a chain connecting the two and talismans attached to the clothing appeared. (ATK: 1000)

Nocturnal drew once more and smiled. "I activate Ghost of Halloween Future. I can discard 2 "Ghostrick" monsters and during my next turn, you lose 1000 Life Points."

"Oh no! If Will doesn't do something, he'll lose!" Xavier said.

"No…I know…I know he can win!" Keenan said.

It was Will's turn and he looked back to Keenan and the gang, and blushed. "Everyone's watching. I have to win, I can't mess up. I draw!" Will drew a card and showed it to Nocturnal. "I Normal Summon Frequency Magician in Attack Position." A man wearing blue magician's clothes with a tall hat-like piece, with futuristic gauntlets on each arm with blue orbs embedded in the middle of each appeared. (ATK: 800-Tuner)

Suddenly, one of the blue orbs glowed. "I Tune Frequency Magician with Apprentice Magician and Temperance Magician to Synchro Summon Arcanite Magician in Attack Position." Frequency Magician turned into 2 green rings. Those rings passed through Apprentice Magician and Temperance Magician, who turned into 2 and 3 stars, respectively. A beam of light enveloped Apprentice Magician and Temperance Magician, passing through the rings, and a blue skinned magician wearing a large white magician outfit with shoulder pads pointing out and blue flames all over, carrying a staff with a large yellow orb on the top appeared. (ATK: 400)

"Only 400 ATK!? HAHAHAHA!" Nocturnal laughed.

"I can add 2 Spell Counters to my Magician and he gains 1000 ATK. But I can remove 1 to destroy a card you control." Arcanite's staff lit up but quickly dimmed and he blasted Ghost Reaper Monarch and destroying it. (ATK: 1400)

Vince looked on with a face of great surprise; so did Jimmy. "Sir…" Jimmy tried to say.

"Grrrr…they are becoming a nuisance!" Vince angrily said.

"Alright! Just one more attack!" Harper said.

"Arcanite Magician, attack directly!" Arcanite Magician raised his staff and blasted Nocturnal, knocking him back. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

The Augmented Reality disappeared and Will fell to his knees, resulting in the gang running to his side. Vince, however, was visibly angry. "Chosen One…you are becoming an insufferable pain."

"Now you realize not to mess with me or my friends!"

"No…I WILL use you to gain immortality. This is not over."

Just then, two orbs of light emerged from Nocturnal and flew off. Then, Nocturnal's spirit was transferred into Vince's Black Crystal while Nocturnal's body collapsed and was then sent to the Shadow Realm.

"This is not good Vince." Jimmy said.

"Vince…did Nocturnal want to gain immortality?" Keenan weakly asked.

"No. He existed only to serve me. Hear me now Chosen One, you will be mine." Vince conjured a portal, but before the Materia Organization could retreat, Keenan said, "No Vince, you hurt too many of my friends. I'll make sure to take you down!"

Vince smiled before disappearing into the portal with the other members.

"Will, are you okay?" Trixie asked.

"Y-yeah. I'm okay. Hey Keenan...who are they?"

"Let's head back and we'll explain." Trixie and Xavier carried Keenan while Harper carried Will back to the hospital.
