Yep! It's a new update! I know I owe you guys a Thalia chapter, so Thalia's POV will come in the update after this.

Anyway, here goes... enjoy!

Percy

His fingers were turning numb. His whole arm hurt. With each breath of air he sucked in, his lungs protested. Was this the effects of Kelli's poison? Time was running short; His system was going to shut down soon.

Percy needed to kill Voldemort. That was the only way he could protect Harry Potter and complete his quest. No, this wasn't a quest anymore. Harry was his friend. Percy wanted to protect him, and the only way he could do so was to get rid of the attacker himself – Voldemort.

He was a dead man anyway. The poison had seen to that. But Percy wouldn't give up without a fight. If he died without killing Voldemort, everything he did from the start would be in vain. He knew that Voldemort would proceed with killing countless other wizards after he killed Harry.

An outbreak of a magical war would be devastating. Percy himself had lived through two demigod wars to know the costs. Thinking about all these, a fresh determination surged through him. Percy would do anything, anything at all, to bring the downfall of Lord Voldemort.

The throbbing pain on his injured shoulder was no more than a sore muscle. As the pain receded momentarily, Percy could feel his breathing becoming a little smoother.

The adrenaline blocked out the agony of the wound and poison, as Percy lifted Riptide, ready for a duel.

He saw Voldemort's eyes widen, as he raised his wand. Perhaps he read into the defiance in Percy's eyes. However, that look of fear lasted for only a second, before it was replaced by a scowl.

Though Voldemort did not speak, a jet of blinding green light shot out of the tip of Voldemort's wand, aiming directly.

It was easy. Percy merely positioned his sword at the offending curse and it bounced off his blade, at the grass.

But Percy didn't stop there. He knew what he had to do. He had the shorter weapon, which meant that attacking was only possible from a close range. Percy advanced slowly, dodging and deflecting each curse Voldemort sent at him.

Thunder rumbled in the sky, though he could not see any lightning. The winds became increasingly stronger, rippling through the black cloaks of the Death Eaters.

"Crucio!" Voldemort screamed.

That had been a close one. Voldemort's curse missed his head by inches. Percy could feel the hair on the top of his head being parted by the spell.

The closer he got to Voldemort, the less time he had to react to each curse cast by his opponent. Percy was roughly three meters away from Voldemort, which put the latter just out of reach of Riptide.

With each step Percy took forward, Voldemort took a step back. Percy was about to do a quick lunge at Voldemort, when Harry shouted from afar.

"Percy! Your rainbow!" Harry yelled.

Percy cast a quick glance at Harry's direction, before concentrating back on Voldemort. Somehow, Harry had managed to free himself from the ropes. A torchlight was propped up on the nearby tree, lighting up a fine mist of water emitting from Harry's wand. The angle of the light was correct, and the water split the colours of the light into seven colours

"I transfigured a branch into a torchlight!" Harry explained. "What did you want to do with a rainbow?"

Percy sidestepped a Killing Curse, and leapt forward at Voldemort, and at the same time, slashed at Voldemort's midsection with his sword. Voldemort was too slow, the bronze blade cut into his lower abdomen, and dark red blood was absorbed into his cloak.

"Catch!" Percy said, hurling the golden drachma at Harry with all his strength. The gold coin sailed through the air in an arc, and Harry caught it easily in one hand.

It was the coin that Kym had given him in the second task. Somehow, miraculously, it had appeared in his pocked, undetected by the judges.

"What do I do with it?" Harry shouted, clutching his wand, making sure that the rainbow was still formed.

Percy's attention had returned back to Voldemort, who was attacking at an even faster speed now. Curses after curses, spells after spells. Percy had to focus on the duel. One mistake, and it could mean his death.

"Throw it into the rainbow!" Percy instructed. "Then repeat after me!"

Harry obeyed, tossing the golden drachma into the rainbow, where it disappeared, swallowed up by the shimmering rainbow.

"Say: 'O Iris, goddess of the rainbow, show me Thalia Grace, uh…wherever she is!" Percy said.

Harry was speechless for a second, before he repeated what Percy said.

The rainbow flickered, before Thalia's face appeared in the mist. The daughter of Zeus was fighting back to back with Nico di Angelo. A ring of blurry dark shapes circled them. Thalia was shooting arrows rapidly at the monsters, using Aegis to scare hold them at bay. Nico, meanwhile, had conjured an army of dead skeletons to defend them. Occasionally, lightning streaked from the sky, turning a couple of monsters into a puddle of yellow dust.

At the exact same time, at Harry's end of the connection, Percy gave a grunt. Voldemort had feinted a spell at his legs, and instead sending a curse at his chest. Too late, before Percy could do anything, the curse hit Percy square in the chest.

It was the Cruciatus Curse. Percy felt invisible knives dig into his body, repeatedly stabbing him over and over again. The son of Poseidon fell onto his knees, using his sword as a support.

"Harry!" Thalia said, before looking past Harry and seeing kneeling on the grass with Voldemort towering over him. "Percy!"

Thunder rumbled in the sky for the second time, yet there was no lightning nor signs of a storm approaching.

Voldemort laughed, stepping up to Percy, who bit his tongue to prevent himself from showing any sign of weakness. The Death Eaters watched expectantly as Voldemort raised his wand at Percy, who lifted his sword weakly, in an agonizing attempt to block the worst.

"Avada Kedavra!" Voldemort screamed.

Percy watched in slow motion as the green jet of light flew at him at point-blank distance. There was nothing he could do. His arms were heavy, and the air was dry. There was no water to call to his aid. This was the end. Percy heard a desperate yell from Harry's direction.

But at the last second, an invisible force expanded between him and Voldemort. It looked as though the air had solidified in front of him, and the Killing Curse was deflected.

"NO!" Voldemort shrieked.

Out of the corners of his eye, Percy saw Harry's wand raised. Harry had saved him, with whatever shield charm he'd casted.

Not for long though. Fighting with Voldemort had sped up the poison's effect. Percy could feel his head pounding, as though it were going to explode. His limbs were cold, and yellow spots danced in front of his eyes.

"Thalia!" He gasped, looking at his cousin through the rainbow. "An empousa poisoned me. Tell- tell Annabeth – "

"No! Kelp Head!" Thalia yelled, ducking as a monster tried to claw at her. "You are not going to die here! I'll tell Nico to shadowtravel to that graveyard as fast as we can. Just hold on! If you die, I am going to personally zap – "

"You have thirty seconds left. Please insert a drachma for another five minutes." A woman's voice said from the rainbow.

The shield charm died, giving Voldemort another clear shot at Percy.

Voldemort pressed his palm into the wound that Percy had inflicted on him. Voldemort leered at Percy, raising his wand once again.

However, this time, Harry shouted, "Leave him alone! If you want to kill me, then this is your chance."

Harry's wand hand was steady, pointing it directly at Voldemort. In return, Voldemort turned to Harry, wand raised. The rainbow connection flickered and died. Thalia and Nico vanished from view.

"You and your demigod friends will die, Harry Potter. Grace and di Angelo will never make it in time. Greek monsters are overpowering them as we speak. Jackson wound is fatal. He has only minutes left to live. And you, Harry Potter, the boy who lived, will be slaughtered by my hand."

For the third time this night, lying on the grass, Percy heard thunder rolling overhead. It was louder this time, the air felt dense. The faint smell of rain in the distance gave Percy some hope.

Percy knew the moisture in the air could be used to make a hurricane, but he had no strength left. He could only lie there, praying to both Zeus and Poseidon that they made a thunderstorm soon.

Percy's vision blurred, sliding in and out of focus.

And then he heard Voldemort's high shriek, followed by Harry's shout.

"Avada Kedavra!"

"Expelliarmus!"

And there you go :)
