Chapter 38: Panic Switch: 162 words

A/N: Wrote this forever ago in morality class, where we talked about mortal sins an excommunication. I wrote that it was pretty interesting, but I don't remember much now. Oh well.

Ryou raked his fingernails down his face with a moan, his heart hammering out of his chest. "Ryou! What's wrong?" Malik opened the bathroom stall door, gaping at the sight of Ryou curled up in a ball, blood running down his face.
Malik shook Ryou's shoulders roughly, but the boy still shook with sobs and groans. Malik shoved Ryou's face into his own and stared into the boy's chocolatey eyes.

"Breathe." Malik demanded firmly and calmly. Ryou shuddered slightly and started breathing deeper. Slowly, ever so slowly, Ryou calmed down until he was able to stand, feeling his slowly decreasing heartbeat. Ryou was about to speak when he doubled up and fell to his knees with a scream.

Malik was about to call for help when Ryou just... stopped. Malik stared uncomprehendingly as Ryou stood up, his back to his friend. That stance...
"Bakura..." Malik breathed. The spirit turned around with a toothy grin.

"Guess what? I found my Landlord's panic switch."

A/n: Funny story. This whole drabble (all four paragraphs of it...) took three days, and I don't know why. That's just what I had written in my notebook. So it takes me three days to write three paragraphs, but less than 30 to write more than 50,000. Makes sense.

Sorry to all the people who look forward to this, and I apologize and thank you for loving my work. Please don't leave me. I need you! :'(

Read and review, please? =w=
