(Just a short conversation between Mute and the Doctor, you don't have to read this. Its just short and a bit cute...kinda explains something about Mute hitting the TARDIS...but doesn't explain everything)

Chapter 38

Little Secrets

The Doctor hadn't looked through this phone since he was the 10th Doctor and he guessed he had it in his pocket for safe keeping or cause of whose numbers were on it. Just in case someone needed him. But there was that one number that was staring him in the face. He looked around at Eve who was sound asleep. Little snoring noises came from her as she did so. It wasn't to late at night...well where they were. He'd have to try though. He needed to know what was going on between them. Why wouldn't Mute come near Eve? It seemed to be a deep sore spot and perhaps he could get to the bottom of what was going on between Eve and River.

He pushed the send button and waited...it didn't take long before that familiar voice filled his ear.

"Long time hasn't it? Thought you forgot about me." Mutes voice echoed in his ear.

"Well I figured you'd be to busy at school to want to talk to dear old dad anyways."

"Thats stupid..." Wow that was blunt. The Doctor sighed and walked back and forth out of waking range of Eve.

"I have your sister Eve with me...and River...the River that doesn't know Eve is a bit flustered and they keep getting at each others throats...I'm actually scared that she'll chose not to have kids if she thinks she's messed up somewhere with them."

"Messed up...she did mess up...majorly. Papa she totally pushed Eve and me aside when she realized she was pregnant with Arrow and Avarii. We were only two years old but Eve remembers it pretty well. I bumped my head on the outside of a TARDIS so I don't really remember what happened...all I know is what Eve told me and she said she herself pushed me out of the TARDIS and...she knows she had a reason but she doesn't remember why. All she remembers is pain in her head and that was it." Mute sighed. The Doctor knew what Mute was doing she was probably running her fingers over her robe or running her fingers over the couch out of worry.

"She avoids me because of it. She feels guilty that she pushed me out of the TARDIS...but I know Papa I know she didn't do it on purpose. She's been nothing but kind to me since we met back up. We were only two, and she tried to save me from Mom. I don't think she would have hurt us to bad...I think."

"Mute...your mother tried to kill me when we first met. Nearly killed me. If she hadn't of used up her last regeneration's...then I'd be dead right now." He heard her gasp over the phone.

"Papa you don't think Mom tried to kill us do you?" Mute asked.

"Yeah...I wouldn't put it past her. I think Eve pushed you out of the TARDIS to pro..." He thought of it for a second and then looked around at Eve, and if memory served him right...

"Mute...your birthday was yesterday...so was Eves."

"Papa...Eve never told you we were twins?"

"Eve talks...but doesn't really say anything."

"Reminds you of someone doesn't it?" Mute yawned and stretched. "I"m going back to sleep I've got kids to teach in the morning. One of them is Breezy. I'll tell her you called and sent your love." Mute said and then he heard a bit more movement before a giggle. "The names Willow by the way. Willow Pond."

"A bit fairy tale don't you think?"

"Isn't it always?"
