Completely sorry for the long gap between chapters! Between school and electricity going haywire, I couldn't update. But now I'm going to start back up again. So let's go into this chapter.

The twins, along with Sasuke, rushed to the hospital to check on Tou. After how Sasuke described her state, they were really worried about her. They then realized if they were this worried about her, Kankuro must be in turmoil. They picked up the pace and leapt and dashed on rooftops at full speed. Soon the hospital was in sight and, in a brief second, they burst through the door. They took a moment to regain their bearings and asked where Tou was.

The secretary was more than glad to assist her leaders. She directed them and they ran down the hall, turned a couple corners, and opened the door to her room. To their surprise, everyone else was already there. All eyes turned to see who it was who opened the door, well except one. Kankuro stayed staring at the one he holds close. By the looks of it, Tou was sleeping soundly. It eased their worries a bit knowing she'll be alright.

"Fill us in," the three said.

"The doctor says she just suffered chakra loss. It shouldn't be long until she wakes and can speak, but she will have to stay here overnight so the doctors can be sure they could clear her," Ino informed.

"Well that's good to know," Naruto sighed.

"Yeah, you're right. When I saw her state I didn't know what to do with myself," Kankuro spoke.

"We've all been in your position Kankuro and we know how you feel," Naruko assured.

"Whether it is our partners, family, or just a good friend, we've had that experience," Sasuke injected.

Kankuro smiled knowing he has the best kind of friends. Eventually, they all went to the mansion and when they did they met food on the table. They all wondered who it was who cooked and prepared them dinner, but when they took a taste it was the farthest thing from their mind. They all ate and enjoyed every single bite of the home cooked meal. When they were finished they all seemed satisfied.

"Well, well, you sure didn't waste any time eating my dinner."

They turned around and saw a long red haired woman still dressed in an apron. The majority of the group wondered who this woman was, but then a man came out with features representing Naruto. They looked at the blonde twins as they announced that they were their parents. Sasuke, for one, was shocked that Minato, the Fourth Hokage, was Naruto's dad. He couldn't get pass that they were complete opposites.

"Um Naruto?" Sasuke said.

"What's on your mind?"

"How the number one hyperactive knucklehead ninja is the son of one of the Hokage?"

"What's that supposed to mean?!"

"Easy nii-san, it's alright!" Naruko stated while trying to hold Naruto down.

"I suppose he received his ways from his mother," Minato joked.

"What was that?" Kushina said from behind cracking her knuckles with her hair defying gravity.

The rest of the night was full of laughter seeing the Uzumaki family act as one. The next day, they got the news that Tou was ready to leave the hospital. Kankuro, of course, was the first one to run out of the mansion. All the others could do was, shake their heads and laugh, but his siblings hung their heads in shame. Sasuke and Naruko went by their partners' side as if they were supporting them. They all walked out with their significant other to the hospital.

At the hospital, Kankuro was in the midst of doctors running final tests to see whether it was safe to let Tou out. After they were finished, they couldn't help but tell Tou about how Kankuro acted while she was unconscious. She laughed a bit knowing he was just worried about her. To thank him, she kissed him on the cheek. He blushed a bit by the sudden show of affection. As if it was a contagious disease, all females stole a kiss from their man.

Naruto and Naruko wondered whether or not to tell Tou that their parents were with them. They would love to see her reaction since it was priceless on the others. They wished that their parents were in the kitchen or living room when they reached. But for now, they would enjoy this moment of having everyone back safe and sound. Along the way back, they talked and even got a few groceries since Kushina used the majority to prepare dinner last night.

They entered the mansion and, little did they know, Inoichi had come over. To Tou, only one face she remembered, but the other two were foreign to her. The moment of truth arrived; the twins told her that they were their parents. Her reaction was that of the others; first, a long, hard stare, then, looking between their parents and them, and finally, the freak out. Hearing Inoichi laughing drew all attention to him.

"What's so funny dad?" Ino asked.

"It's nothing dear. It's just that Naruto and Naruko looked so cute together when they were babies."

"WHAT?!" the twins shouted.

They ran over to him and saw a picture of them as babies sleeping together in the same crib wearing fox pajamas. They both grew a blush, half of embarrassment and half because they did, in fact, looked too comfortable together. Their attention reverted from the picture to their parents hearing them snicker. They were curious and went to look and soon they had the same look as their parents. Naruto took the picture and showed it to everyone except Ino.

"Naruto, why won't you show me the picture?" Ino questioned.

"Because I think you don't want to see it."

"But now I do want to see it."

"Are you sure about that?"

"Yes I am!"

"Ino, trust me, you don't want to see that picture," Naruko inserted with everyone else agreeing with her.

"I'll be the judge of that!"

She snatched the picture from Naruto and looked at it. Her eyes went wide and she was, literally, speechless. She wondered how long her dad kept this from her. Why didn't he tell her about the time he was feeding her and the bowl of spaghetti fell on her head and covered her face with tomato sauce? Ino gave a quick nod to the twins and they smiled and closed their eyes. Soon a red aura surrounded them and they opened their eyes to reveal the Kyuubi's eyes.

"I'll never forgive you for not telling me about this."

The pictures were then lit on fire and it burned all the way through. When they were gone, they reverted back to normal. It was official; the chance of them being scared of their children went from 0% to 15%. After that day, everyone lived their lives peacefully. Four years passed and Naruto proposed to Ino, and one after another each guy asked their women to marry them. Life, for them, was now complete, especially for the twins.

Naruto and Naruko were standing at the top of the mansion looking down at the village they built and ruled. Their parents understood the reason of them destroying Konoha, in fact Kushina praised them since the only reason she was brought there was to become the Nine Tails' Jinchuuriki. Although Konoha did hold some positive memories, it mostly held negative ones. The most memorable one would have to be when the twins met each other for the first time.

At that thought, they looked at each other. For a second, Naruto could swear he saw 12 year old Naruko, and she could see 12 year old Naruto. They smiled and returned their gaze to the village. Ino didn't take long to hug Naruto from the back and Gaara appeared behind Naruko holding her by the waist. Naruto switched places with Ino as she and Naruko took a quick look at their rings. Minato and Kushina watched from a distance as their grown children took a major step.

"They're all grown up now, huh Minato?"

"Yes; indeed they are. They're no longer the children who felt alone."

"Is it alright to come out now?" a voice called.

"Yes it is, Fourth Kazekage Rasa," Minato stated.

"You too, Karura," Kushina called.

"Rasa, our children have grown up quite well, wouldn't you agree?"

"Yes, and I have to thank your daughter Fourth Hokage for taking care of him."

"Don't worry yourself. We were the Fourth Kages."

"Understood."

The parents of the twins and the sand siblings watched as the rest joined Naruto, Ino, Naruko, and Gaara on the rooftop. They were happy for their children, and they were glad that they made such good friends and found excellent partners. They leapt from their spot and landed not that far behind the group. They turned around and almost instantly Kankuro, Temari, and Gaara ran into their parents' arms. This was truly a happy ending.

Like how the last sentence suggests, this is the end of The Demon Within. I had a blast with this story and I hope you enjoyed it and maybe join me in a next one. I'm sorry that this one is seriously late, but unexpected things happened. I hope you understand. I'll take a hiatus from writing for a week or so. I need to find myself again. So I'll see you in a next story, most of you at least. Goodbye, my MasterNaruians! Until we meet again! See you later!
