Chapter 28: What Do I Do Now?

Mr. Hammer stood there awkwardly and Joker turned around, looking at him, annoyed, his anger rising again. "And why are you still here?"

"Um, uh... I..."

"Well? Spit it out!"

"I'll just... go.. now..." He left quickly, leaving Harleen alone with the psychopath.

Joker turned back around, towards Harleen, leaving her speechless with the look in his eyes.

No words can describe the amount of emotions on his face.

It scared her.

"Harley..."

Oh, no! What should she say?! What should she do!?

Um...

"Yeah?"

He walked forwards, causing her to walk backwards, into the bed.

She was nervous and she was sure he could tell. But he didn't act like he knew she had been lying.

But he was serious now. He leant in, their faces just inches apart. His bright-green eyes burrowed into hers, like he could see right into her soul. He cleared his throat causing Harleen's breath to hitch and her heart to beat a little faster. He knew, didn't he?! He knew she'd played him!

Should she change the subject? Should she just stand there and wait? There's going to be hell to pay, she just knew it.

She had to make Joker believe her. She had to do something. She needed to prove to him that she loved him, that she was loyal to him.

Harleen leant in and kissed him passionately, her small hands stroked his soft, but bristly face and snaked up into his green greasy hair. The ends of her fingers teased the jade strands, and she could feel him getting aroused. Harleen didn't really want to have sex with him again, well, at least she thought she didn't.

Yet, she knew that if she kept this up, it would happen.

But, unfortunately, she was aroused. And that made her furious! She wasn't suppose to like this man. She wasn't suppose to be doing this. It was sick, twisted, and just plain wrong. But, she was attracted to him, a clown, a crazy, murderous, freaking clown!

Harleen's hands unknowingly began to dig into Joker's skin. She thought he'd be angry, but he pushed into her more, only making her more agitated, of course she hadn't meant to do it, who was she to know that it would turn him on even worse?

Harleen hated to admit it, but this man, crazy or not, was a pretty damn good kisser.
