Hi! I'm starting writing this chapter right after the other in order not to have a block (which is slowly happening, I feel it) but the time I post it will depend on when I finish writing it… Sorry if it sucks though :( I'm really not satisfied with these past few chapters.

Kisshu

The General was upset, more than that he was furious. Another one of his honorary sisters was missing, and this time, Reijin was going to pay dearly for this. Kisshu had a plan already, he still wasn't sure if it would work but Reijin had just offered him the opportunity to test it.

He was sat at his desk, piles of plans, maps, and battle reports scattered across its surface and a coffee at the corner. He sighed heavily, this wasn't the time for rest yet he needed it desperately. Rirī would scold him for sure if she saw him. Thinking of her brought him to thinking about the love of his life, currently light years away awaiting the day she's going to give birth to their daughter. Thinking it off he wasn't ready to have a child yet: war was getting harder, Reijin's soldiers stronger and conditions worse. His current decision was that Ichigo and the baby ought to stay on Earth until war was over… He knew it could take years but it was the safest thing to do for both of them. He would visit of course, as much as he could, but with all that was going on on Cynnth this would be one visit a week and he'd sometimes have to skip. He let his face fall on the desk, willingly hurting his nose.

"I'm not even a father yet but I can see myself being the worst type" he whispered to himself.

He stood up, studying his parents' picture. They were so happy together, in this picture they were hugging. Kukkī deep in Kinkai's arms only turning to her left to smile sweetly at the camera and him not even looking, just appreciating a moment with the love of his life. Kisshu smiled at them while picking up the picture frame.

"I miss you so much" he whispered again, swiftly brushing away a dawning tear.

He really wasn't sure what to do with Ichigo and their baby. He told Pai to ask for her opinion on this, she knew about the conditions on Cynnth, or at least before she woke up with her amnesia. Rirī might've filled her in on that though, so it was Ichigo's choice in the end. He really wished for her to choose safety over him.

With that, he teleported away making his teleportation shield disappear in the process.

Pudding

The teenager was fed up. It was daytime which made underwater life look absolutely perfect but Reijin still hasn't come to 'interview' her. Beikoku had visited her twice since their conversation, once of which he had given her some fruits. She still didn't trust him even though he seemed honestly nice to her. Never the less it gave her time to rehearse false information she would eventually feed Reijin over his questionary.

Finally, when she was just about to take a nap, Beikoku appeared in her room, right in front of the door.

"He's down the hall" he said solemnly.

"About time!" she complained "I was going to have a nap"

He chuckled "I would sleep with an open eye if I were you"

"Don't worry, I know Reijin" she said with a wink.

"So do I" he said before teleporting away to the door opening.

Reijin had shaved and cleaned up nice, wearing an opened white shirt, light gray trousers and black rangers. He looked at her with hard eyes but she was no fool. He didn't scare her the slightest bit.

"Well" she said with an almost Ikisatashi smirk "Did you wear this shirt ~just for me~?"

His cheeks flushed a bit before he said firmly "You will only speak when allowed to!"

"Sorry" she said managing to shrug "Not happening. I'm a very talkative person you'll have to get used to it sooner or later"

He teleported so that he was floating above her and grabbing her chin forcefully, with the obvious intention of hurting her.

He smirked "You will no longer disobey me you pathetic Earthling" he seethed.

"I do not take orders from weaker beings" she said in the same poisonous tone "And as a piece of information, you do neither scare me nor intimidate me. I already have kicked your butt in battles and I know just how you will react to this.

"Yes, you are so predictable. A spoiled child, really, always throwing a tantrum when you do not get what you want. You thought, four years ago, that it would take two Chimeras and frightened guests of a party to win the universe over, didn't you? Who fed you such lies, now tell me?

"You are a coward and a psychopath and I have nothing to say to you, now you could free me or keep me here all you want. Kisshu will come rescue me, he has always been better than you and there's nothing that you can do about it, let's face it: he creates better Chimera Animals than you do, he fights better than you do, he is way smarter than you are and best for last, he is much more attractive and you know it."

To her surprise, he smiled. Not the psychotic smile which says 'I'm about to kill you twice!' but rather the 'I know that what you say is true and I accept it' kind of smile. He took his hand off of her rather harshly and floated away, sitting in a cross-legged position in mid-air at the foot of the bed.

He put his hands on his folded knees and chuckled "You are right, monkey-girl. You're right about everything but what really bothers me is… How is it that you're defending Kisshu so much when you don't even know half his life?"

"That is the mistake in your calculations, Reijin-San" she said pointing a finger at him "I have known Kisshu for six years now and he is one of the best friends I've ever had. If he needs to talk I'm here for him, if he worries about something he knows he can always come to me. I have been the replacement of your lack of interest in him.

"If you just knew half of who Kish is you would've regretted all the mistreatment that you gave him, Pai and Taruto included. Same goes for them, they are the best Cyniclons I have ever met and you're not one percent the man that one of them is.

"You are just disgusting, Reijin. If you'd just—"

He cut in "Who do you even think you are, Pudding Fong?"

"I am Pudding Fong, aka Mew Pudding, aka Pudding Ikisatashi-to-be" she said smugly.

He half smiled at that "Ikisatashi-to-be, huh?"

She bit her bottom-lip "Hai" she said still confidently "And I fight just like an Ikisatashi in addition to KoEnji Kenpou fighting style that I have learned from my father, back when I was little."

"You would make a very good spouse to Mazui" he said to her astonishment "Don't know why you've been avoiding him so much…"

"How do you know him?" she asked nonchalantly.

"We were all studying together, Mew Pudding, and I know each and every person inside that castle. From Ikisatashi Curry to the lastest of maids. Despite what I show I do have some ressource"

"And you're enough of a Baka to tell me that?" she chuckled.

"Oh don't you worry, Gaki-Chan" he said chuckling as well "What I tell you is harmless, all I want you to know is that I am on the verge of winning this war. This is the information that I want you to report."

"I will not report false information, Ikisatashi-Kun" she said smirking.

"Yes you will, by the way you really look like Holy-Arukōru-Chan"

"How much do you know of her?" Pudding asked, trying not to sound nosy.

"I know the most of her; especially how she died" he said looking away "I was with her when it happened"

"I thought she died in a snowstorm" she said her brow furrowing.

"She did" he said shortly "I was with her, that's it"

"How come you're still alive then?"

"You ask too many questions!" he shouted suddenly making her jump in surprise.

"Did you—?" she started asking but he cut her off.

"What I did or didn't do is none of your concern" he said "What concerns you is that a Chimera Animal will be launched in the castle by one of my spies"

"Impossible!" she gasped "Which area will be concerned by this?"

"You do not think that I would tell you, now do you?" he said teasingly "Now I have someone who would like to have a word and more with you"

"What do you mean by 'more'?" she asked warily.

"You'll see" he said winking at her before teleporting away.

She sighed heavily, waiting anxiously for the person who wanted more than talking to her. Less than five minutes later, the doors start opening slowly or is it just that time starts passing in slow motion? One couldn't tell. Pudding's breathing stopped all at once when she saw who was coming in.

Standing at the door, wearing a proud, mischievous smile; was Mazui.

Ichigo

Pai laughed lightly "No, that's not it. What I want to ask you is: Would you rather have your child here or on Cynnth?"

She looked at him curiously "Is this even a question, Pai?"

"It appears so, given the conditions on Cynnth and the priority being your safety and the baby's" he said.

"No" she said irritated "I want to give birth to her on Cynnth, it's her home and mine I don't want her anywhere near humans!"

"I beg you to reconsider this, Ichigo" he said pleadingly "You must take every factor into consideration before making this decision"

"Fine" she said pursing her lips "I will, I promise"

"Arigato, Ichigo" he said before standing up and teleporting away, leaving her to her thoughts.
