Chapter 38: Dance

Angel's Point of View

"But Max! please!" I whinned to Max over the Friday was the very first dance at my school, Notre Dame Preparatory Middle was also the very first dance I had ever been invited to."No Angel. No is no." Max said stubornly."Why?" I pouted. I realy wanted to hesitated trying to think of a reason to not let me go."Your too young." Max finally replied content with her answser. "Max that's not fair and you know it" I said and then added "I have fought on erasers senice I was six I think I can handle one dance, plus I'll have eddy to help me if I need it".

I could hear Max sigh on the other end of the phone making my smile grow was going to give in. "Fine." max said quitely. "Thank You! Thank You Max! I Love You!" I replied full of excitment. "Sure thing Angel." Max said. "Okay well I have to go I have to tell Eddy the good news, and I wanna talk to Nudge about getting me ready" I said wanting to scream from happiness, "Bye Ange" Max said and hung up.

I ran down stairs with a huge smile on my face. "Hey Angle, Can you help me wit-" Nudge started, but then said "Wow! someone's got there happy glow on what happend?"Nudge asked. she was always one for gossip but I didn't care I was so happy. "Max said I could go to the dance with Eddy" I say "OMG! Your so lucky! She wouldn't even let us" Nudge said pointing to herself and Gazzy "in the same room without makeing us leave the door open" She finished and came to sit next to me. "So...What are you going to wear?" Nudge said.

Tonight was the started at 6 pm and right now it was 5:57 P.M. Nudge was putting on the last touches to my makeup and hair. Nudge and I went dress shopping, and I got a sky blue dress with silver diamon dessings all over had a corset with a flowy bottom that ended at my also curled my hair with tiny curls at the bottem, and applied some light blue eyeshadow with a bit of mascara and eye liner.

"Oh you look so beautiful Angel! Eddy's so lucky! Your like a godess, and your so nice ,and I love you!" Nudge said like she was going to cry like people do in the movies. "Aww Thanks Nudge" I say and hug her. "Okay well I better not hold you up gazzy told me that Eddy arrived" She says sniffiling i hug her again, and say "thanks again nudge...for everything I love you" and with that i'm gone.

I go down stairs to see Eddy talking to makes me giggle in all the movie its the tearly eyed mom and the strick dad giving the boyfriend that whole 'hurt her and die part'.It's usually Max and Fang's part, but today its Nudge and Gazzy's. Gazzy and Eddy look up at has that she's-too-pretty-for-her-own-good look while Eddy just smiles at me.I stand next to Gazzy and give my brother a smile that says i'll be just smirks at takes my hand and we head out .

The Dance was decorated in a under the sea style, so I guess I picked a good led me to the table were all our friends sat. "Hey guys!" Eddy greets to the gets a reply of noddes smiles and hey's.I smile at them and get the same kind of replies. We sit and eat for a while until 'hear in your arms' by HelloGoodBye and I have to dance.I start to sway in my chair when Eddy notices. He smiles at me and asks "Angel do you want to dance?" I smile at him and reply "I thought you would never ask."

We head out to the dance floor, and before we knew it we were swaying to the music. I rest my arms around his neck, and my head on his lays his hands on my song ended too soon, and we had to let go. I frowned as we walked off the dance floor as 'The Way I Loved You' By Selena Gomez sat down at our table I talked to Jessica about school, eddy, drama, friends ect.

After a while of talking we went to dance again but this time as a danced to 'How Low Can You Go' by Ludacris 'Teach Me How To Dougie' by Cali Swag District and 'Hit The Lights' by Jay of my favrite 'Hit The Lights' came to an end we headed for our seats. " I'm gonna go get some punch" I say and stand. "Want me to go with you babe?" Eddy insits. "No it's fine. Just relax. Have fun" I say and kiss his cheek. "Anyone want anything?" I ask.I hear multiple nope's no's and no thankyou's from our table. "Okay be right back" I say and head for the snack table.

I was about to reach for the punch when I hear, "So your Eddy's girl" the voice says thretingly.I didn't reconize the voice.I turn around to see who it was. I see a girl I didnt was dressed in all black. she had on skinny jeans and a had three eye brow percings and snake bits.I have to admit she looked scary. "yeah" I say and add "and you are?" The girl looks at me. "Anne" She said. Anne? That name sounded had I heard it? Anne? OMG! Anne! Gang leader, Eddy lover, hates my guts Anne! Oh shit! I am dead. I back up reilizing who she is. A smirk covers her face. "What do you want?" I leans in close to me and whispers, "If you know what's good for you you'd stay away from Eddy. He's mine." After she finish's she walks away.

I couldn't take my mind off of what she said. I really did feel thretend. I don't even know why. I have double the stregth of the avrege adult male. I guess it's just the evil vibes I get from stop further thought on her. I decide to search her mind maybe if I find something that scares her it will reasure me that she gets scared too. I focused in on her mind, and let me tell you she does not think of thoughts were even more scary then must have seen my worry beacuse, he suddenly said "Let's go outside".I nod and we head sit on one of the far benches. "So you found out." Eddy says.I look at him confusion on my face and one eyebrow raised. "About?" I ask. "Anne" He says.

Eddy waited for me to reply, but in all honesty I was too scared to hear what he had to say or even reply to wasn't human for anyone to have dark thoughts like that. "Angel, you have to know" ,He says but stops to take a breath, "Angel were not the only special people here." he says.I stare at him wide eyed. "So" I start. "Yes Anne Sarah and some others do have powers like us." He says.I am still trying to get over the shock. "But there not good like us Angel. You can't trust them." Eddy said. Oh hell no I can't trust them! She threatend me! "Do they know about?" I ask. "No" ,He simply replys and adds, "And let's keep it that way." I nodded in agreement.
