~Haruhi's Point of View~

Once I was able to get away from dad and his crazy antics from this morning *Okay next time I need to hide an outfit that dad can't find…* as I looked down at the dress I was wearing. I quickly headed out the door to meet up with Rose to do some food shopping and hopefully catch up some more. After a few minutes of walking there I stood in front of the shopping area waiting for Rose to appear for. * I hope she did not forget about us meeting here and where it is* I thought as I close my eyes thinking about the last time Rose and I went shopping together.

Two young girls stood in front of the shopping area looking at it in awe as people were rushing about. The young brunette looked towards the blonde headed girl with questionable eyes. "Why are we here Rose? It's not like we can actually buy anything…" the girl with brown eyes stared at Rose furrowing her eyebrows. Rose turned to the brunette with a bright smile "Its simple Haruhi, I'm going to show you how to shop for deals. Just like my mom does when we go out." Then grabbed Haruhi's hand and took off with great speed to the shops.

"Haruhi… Haruhi! Hey, are you listening to me?" a loud voice awoke in me from my trip down memory lane. Opening my eyes I found myself staring back into a pair of hazel eyes that held concern in them for me, then I broke out into a smile. "Hey Rose, I thought you forgot about meeting here or you got lost again" I spoke jokingly to her as she frowned at my statement. Rose crossed her arms as she pouted "It happened only one time…and I will never get to live that down" then quickly grabbed my hand and took off into the shopping district.

~Rose's Point of View~

As I quickly made my way down the street I couldn't help but feel happy at the thought of spending time with Haruhi * it's been so long since we hung out together… It feels like it was a life time ago* then smiled as they turned the corner to the shopping district. I stopped to look around for a familiar brunette, but I still couldn't find her "Strange… Knowing Haruhi she should've been here before me" I muttered to myself as I walked a bit closer to the entrance.

Once I got a bit closer I scanned again and I stopped upon a familiar figure. I felt myself start to grin as I walked closer to her *It is kind of weird to see her in a dress, since I know she normally likes to wear loose and comfortable things like pants and over sized shirts* and stopped to the side of her. Tilting my head then moved myself in front of her "Haruhi… Haruhi! Hey, are you listening to me?" trying to call her back from her start stop listening little day dream.

Haruhi opened her eyes after a few seconds and stared back at me "Hey Rose, I thought you forgot about meeting here or you got lost again" Haruhi spoke with a small smile. I frowned at first, then I crossed my arms and pouted "It happened only one time…and I will never get to live that down" as I reached for her hand grasping it quickly, then taking off to the shops. I dragged Haruhi along as we weaved in and out of the busy crowds all while laughing.

We came to a quick stop in front of the food market and entered through the doors, while still being out of breath. The people looked at us like we were a bunch of insane kids *They have no idea* we looked at each other before giggling, then each grabbed the basket. While we each held our own basket we walked side by side one another as we walked up and down the aisles chatting about everything and anything an every once in a while we would put something in an our baskets.

After spending quite a while shopping for food we made our way to check out. Turning to Haruhi with a small smile "Wow normally it feels like forever open shopping…but catching up with you Haruhi made it seem to go by quickly. I guess I should bring along whenever I need to go out shopping" as we started to put our items up to be scanned. Haruhi shakes her head while holding a tiny smile "yell well… If we went shopping all the time we think we would get sick of each other" she joked back at me.

After paying the cashier for my items I used one hand to grab my food while the other grabbed my chest in pain jokingly "Oh my heart! How can you say such thing when I love you so much Haruhi!" Haruhi rolled her eyes at me before shoving me aside gently, then paid the man for her items. Watching her pay I sighed a bit *I wish she would let me pay for this… But she's just as stubborn as me* as a small smile appeared. Hurried looked at me with a raised brow "Why are you grinning at me?" as she grabbed her stuff with one hand.

"Oh it's nothing just thinking about how mean you are to me" I singed jokingly to her as we walked out of the shop. I caught Haruhi rolling her eyes at me from the side, then as we walked there was a comfortable silence that came over us. *Luckily neither of us got anything that needed to be put away quickly like ice cream or milk.* I thought as my eyes grazed over the scenery before us, then stopped at a certain shop. Quickly grabbing Haruhi's hand again I quickly dragged us into the shop with a big smile on my face as I read the sign ~Frozen Treats~.
