So...I got a review, though not on the last chapter, but I'm counting it anyways since it at least shows that I'm not posting for nothing :D So, here's 38. Only two more after this ;)

Chapter 38

I've been an emotional freak the last eight weeks. It's not that really anything has happened, but we got a new drummer, Jacob (do not be confused, it's not past Jake. He's got a restraining order) and new back-up singer, who happened to be my best friend Susie. Then there's just the normal "I'm so thankful for all of you guys. I love you so much" and hug-y, cry-ey time.

And plus, this next week is Christmas and New Year's. I get to throw a party on December 23 in L.A., then everyone goes home for Christmas. After that, everyone would fly back to Tokyo (except Ikuto since he's already there) and have a bunch of fun at the festival for New Year's. Planned perfectly. Note: planned.

"What do you mean we can't fly back to our designated homes after the party?! Too much snow?! IT'S L.A., THERE ISN'T SNOW! Erg!" I hit end, and tried to bring my brain back to being…sane.

"Odelle…" Ikuto said as he wrapped his arms around me. "Calm down." he whispered in my ear. "We still have a few days to work this out. Don't appear to be a spoiled, rich brat."

"I'm just…stressed… Which is dessert backwards… All you can eat cakes?"

"Do you want to continue fitting in your dress?"

I winced. "To be honest, no. Sadly, I have to." Apparently, it's some tradition to have the newest female and male singer wear a Santa dress/suit. So, this Dwayne guy is going to wear a normal Santa suit, and I'm wearing this skimpy, freezing little Santa dress. Okay, it's better than some, and actually a little cute (would be better if longer…) but it's still not great. It's all red with white fur lining, one-shoulder with a bow near the top of the shoulder, two matching fingerless gloves that come to my elbow, and red nylons. The dress itself comes to about an inch above my fingertips.

"Come on, let me distract you."

"No, Ikuto. I need to do things."

He spun me around, but still had me close. Oh goodness how he missed this. "But you haven't even had time for a real date yet."

"And I still don't." He frowned as he put his forehead on mine. "That's what you get for loving the pop star." I lightly kissed his nose before turning out of his grasp and continuing to make preparations. "And will someone get some flights to the nearest airports before Christmas and after the party!"

"Del-chaaaaaan." Susie whined as she put her chin on my shoulder from behind me. "You're so streeeeeeessed."

"So?"

"GO ON A DATE WITH IKUTO!"

"How much?"

"Five bucks."

I pulled out my wallet and tossed a five to Ikuto. "You wasted money, Bozo." He glared at me, but smirked when Margret came out.

"Yo, Marg."

"What do you want, Kitty?"

"Don't you think Odelle needs a break?"

"…She's still at it?"

"Hasn't stopped."

"OELLE! HERE. Now." With a smile not reaching my ready-to-kill eyes, I walked over, keeping eye-contact with Ikuto.

"Yes, Miss Margret?" When I looked at her, I forced my eyes to look like they really cared about what she said in a thoughtful way.

"Break. Now. Leave." She held her hand out. "Work phone." Unhappily, I handed her the phone. "Good. Now scram." She said as she pushed Ikuto and I towards the doors.

I waited until she was gone, and once she was, I looked at Ikuto. "I'm not leaving."

"Yes you are."

"No, no I'm not. I have thi~INGS- WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" I yelled as he picked me up off the ground and threw me over his shoulder and began walking through the doors and down the street. Might I add his hand was a little too casually touching my rump? It was. He's a dead man.

"IKUTO YOU LET ME DOWN THIS INSTANT YOU BUTT-TOUCHING, CAT EARED, SEXUALLY HARASSING PERVERT!"

"Sexually harassing? I'm hurt. I've done no such thing." He looked over his shoulder to see the look saying "What the heck are you talking about" I sent him. He just smirked in reply.

"When you bite the ear of an eleven year old when you're sixteen, or any age really, I think that's sexual harassment. Also, considering I am under age and at any point could turn you into the police, saying you are a predator, which you are legally, I'd watch it."

"You're cruel." he said as he put me down. "Happy?"

"No, but better. Now," I punched him in the stomach. Hard. "Don't ever touch my rump like that again."

"That was harsh." he croaked out as he straightened up.

"Harsh would have been your groin." I said before stomping off, getting pretty far ahead of him.

"Such a violent girlfriend! Kiss me to make it better?"

"At this moment, only in hell." I yelled over my shoulder.

"Hey, just ditch her. She don't know a good thing when she sees it." I heard someone say, and when I looked back, I saw a girl trying to get all touchy feeling with Ikuto.

"Ah hell no." I said as I started back, but before I could get far, Ikuto shook himself away.

"You don't understand, I lost this girl once already. I'm not losing her again."

"Who left the first time?"

"She did for her job, and we promised that once we could, we'd get back together. After that though, I saw an article with false information and blew it with her. For year she couldn't look at me without disgust, and I couldn't blame her. She's the most wonderful human being on the planet and I will not let her go again. Sure, she can be a pain, but that's what makes her who she is." The girl tilted her head and looked at him. At this point, I was already crying.

"She's a lucky girl." She opened her purse and pulled out a card. "Just in case it slips again." she told him as she put the card in the pocket of his shirt. Once she was a few steps away, he pulled it out and threw it towards the street. And it then occurred to me: that little skimp was tall, dark, had a showy dress, easily 25, but Ikuto chose…me. It just went right over my head. I couldn't get it, and it shocked me still. I just stood there looking at him with tears streaming. He chose me.

He looked over at my teary-eyed self and his eyes widened. He began to walk towards me, and a smile broke through on my face. It wasn't just a little thing either. It was the big, giant, toothy smile that you see in all those cheesy movies. He picked up the pace and I wasn't even able to take two steps before I was engrossed in a big Ikuto hug, my face pulled into his upper chest.

"I love you, too. I'm sorry I took so long. I'm sorry to put you through so, so much." I told him.

"For moments like this, it's worth it." My smile re-juiced and was bigger than ever. "And you know what? I'd be happy dealing with you for the rest of my life just for moments like this."

I looked up at him. "My, my. This a proposal?"

"No. I'll wait a bit for that. While I'm of appropriate age, for some things I do take into consideration that you're four years younger."

"Oh really? Besides engagement what all do you take into consideration?"

He smirked, pulling my head back into his chest and whispered in my ear, "Many, many adult things, Del. Things I shouldn't normally be thinking about with sixteen year old girls." Ever so lightly, he kissed just under my ear, sending shivers down my whole body. My heart rate picked up and mini jolts of fear burst through. When he saw my deer-in-headlights look, he stepped back a bit and ruffled my hair. "Don't ask what you don't want answered."

"H-h-how was I supposed to know what you wanted?!"

"I'm a male, and more specifically, you're my girlfriend. However, I must say, I take pride in the fact I'll be the only one when the night comes."

"Y-you're a perv. I'm g-going home." I started to walk off, but he pulled my back to his chest.

"So quick to change your mind on such things, Odelle?"

I quickly pushed him off. "A-as if! I'm going home alone."

"But we've hardly done anything together."

A bad image flew through my mind, now knowing what Ikuto has thought about. "Yeah, but I kind of have had enough 'Inside the Mind of Tsukiyomi Ikuto' for a day."

"Oi, you answer the girl's question…" I lightly smacked his chest.

"I'm sorry I forgot that men are barbaric!"

"Apology accepted. Now come on; let's go see some street performers." He grabbed my hand and began dragging me. Of course, I slightly fought back, but not hard.

"Hey, hey. What happened to me going home?"

He rolled his eyes and turned around, not letting go. With a small pull, out faces were only centimeters apart. "I'm feeling withdrawal. At this point, I'm going wherever you go. Are you saying you want to take me home?" He was seriously playing this a little too far.

"Stupid, perverted 20-year-old…" I said before stepping around him and dragging him beside me as we headed toward the street performers.

"I knew you'd come around."

"You're going to use this against me forever now, won't you?"

"Only until a rock is placed on your finger."

Now on my second tour and three weeks until graduation, I keep getting this weirdly excited vibe from Ikuto. Since I've been homeschooling ever since I blew up big on the charts, I only had a small graduation, consisting of Aiden, Susie, Jacob and I. Speaking of Aiden, I nearly screamed when his parents arrived from the airport for the ceremony with his new baby sister.

"She's so cuuuute." I screamed as I all but yanked the darling thing from his mother. "What's her name?"

"Meredith."

"Oh how precious. She's so pink-i-fied and cute and…she's already tanner than I am."

"Good genes."

I chuckled. "I guess."

"Alright, Odelle, now that you've fawned over my sister, can I hold her?" I winced lightly as I handed Meredith to Aiden.

"…Sorry. I love babies." Ikuto almost opened his mouth. "Don't even open that thing. You still have two months before I'm even 18."

"Yes, dear…" Ikuto said in mock despair. I chuckled and pecked his lips.

"Better?"

He pondered it a moment. "Not quite." He pecked my lips this time and nodded. "Now I'm good. Though, you need to stop growing already. You're 5'9. If you wear anything with a heel you're taller than me, and we can't have that."

"Aw, but it's so fun. If I keep growing I might get to 5'10, and then you'd be in trouble when I wear any shoes at all." I teased.

"And in the real world, we are getting into the taxis." Aiden said, breaking us back. "Ikuto, put the ring on her already."

"She won't let me until she gets her high school diploma."

Aiden tilted his head before shaking it slightly. "Such an odd couple…"

"We know." we told him as we slid into the next taxi.
