Andy

"River, it's not all fun and games like you think it is." I scoffed. "There are so many dangers. You won't have any control on full moons, there are hunters, and this shit that we are going through with Stiles," I trailed off. "You don't want this. I don't even want this. I would do anything, if it meant that I could be normal. Like you."

"Being normal isn't a walk in the park either." River insisted. "I hate it. You see me smiling, and goofing around, but that's just a cover up. I've got no one left. My mom ditched out on me when I was in diapers. I never knew her. My dad's dead, Andy. I'm not good anything. Not like you. My dad used to go on and on about how much of a disappointment that I am."

"You aren't a disappointment, River." I sighed.

"Andy, please." River begged. "I want to be able to do the things that you can do. I've seen you on the field, on the basketball court. I know you can hear things that other people can't."

"That's not always good." I insisted. "It's dangerous. The bite doesn't always take."

"I'm strong enough to handle it," River told me.

"It doesn't have anything to do with physical strength." I told him ."Some people aren't meant for it. River, if it doesn't work then you'll die."

"But if it works then I'll be like you." he insisted. "Please." he pleaded. I don't want him to die.

"I don't know." I mumbled.

"Please, Andy. I promise that I'm not going to tell anyone. And you can help me with it. You can learn to keep control, right?" he asked.

"Yeah." I nodded. "You can learn to keep control."

"Then there isn't anything to lose." he insisted. "You'll gaining another pack member if anything." he added.

"I don't even know if I'll be able to do it. I've never done this thing before." I muttered.

"I trust you." River said quietly. What could go wrong? He's strong enough to go through the transition. The loft door opened.

"That's probably Melody." I sighed, getting to my feet. I wandered over to the door but it wasn't Melody that was there. It was Stiles.

"Hey Andy." he grinned.

"I thought you were at Eichen house." I frowned.

"They let me out early on account of my good behavior." he smirked. That's not Stiles. That is the nogitsune.

"Well what are you doing here?" I asked, slowly backing up.

"I figured I'd pop in to say hello." he shrugged, stepping towards me.

"Andy, I've come up with another reason why you should turn me," River said, walking over. He stopped when he saw Stiles.

"Hey, it's River from school." Stiles smirked. "And he wants to be like you. How adorable."

"River, go back into the other room." I hissed.

"No, stay." Stiles told him. "The more the merrier." River looked from me to Stiles and slowly started backing away. Stiles moved towards him quickly and grabbed his arm, pulling him towards me. River wriggled, trying to break free from the nogitsune's grasp but it was no use. He had a tight grip on him. He threw him on the ground at my feet. River looked up at me, his eyes watering. He looked so helpless. "He wants the bite, Andy. Give it to him." I didn't say anything. "Do it Andy." The nogitsune hissed. "I see. You don't think he'll make a good werewolf. I don't think so either. We'll just kill him right here." He grabbed River's head.

"No!" I screamed. Stiles looked at me, smirking. River was trembling. "I'll do it." I sobbed. "Stiles just please, don't hurt him."

"See River?" Stiles chuckled, releasing him ."That's how you get things done." he turned to me. "Do it, Andy. Turn him." Trembling, I bent down. River's heart was beating rapidly.

"This might hurt." I whispered. "Hopefully, it works." River nodded, holding out his arm. I took it and brought it close to my face. I took a deep breath before biting down, tearing the skin open. I could taste his warm blood. It made me want to puke. Please let this work. If he dies, I'll never forgive myself.

"What is all this?" Chris frowned. Sheriff Stilinski had called us, telling us that Stiles was in his bedroom. When the four of us arrived, he wasn't there. But we found a chess board with names writing on the game pieces. "What are these sticky notes for?"

"This is what Stiles used to try and explain to me about of you." he explained.

"Well maybe its a message from Stiles?" Allison suggested. "The real Stiles." Chris picked up a game piece that was off the board. The sticky note read Isaac.

"Is there any reason why my name is on the king?" I asked.

"Well you're heavily guarded," Stilinski said. Melody's, Andy's, Peter's, Scott's, Ethan's and Aiden's game pieces were all surrounding it, leaving only one space open. "Though I guess the alarming detail is that you are one move away from being a checkmate."

"It's not a message from Stiles," Chris sighed, "It's a threat from the nogitsune."

"He's at the loft," Allison said. "That's what he's trying to tell us." The loft? I hope Melody and Andy aren't there!

"And he wants us to come there." Chris added.

"Night's falling." I piped in.

"It couldn't sound anymore like a trap." Chris said.

"I don't think it is." Stilinski shook his head.

"I think your opinion might be slightly bias, Sheriff." Chris scoffed.

"Hear me out," he insisted. "What we are dealing with here is basically someone who lacks motive. No rhyme, no reason, right?"

"Meaning what?" Chris retorted.

"He's not a killer. He's a trickster. The killing is just a by product,"

"If you are trying to say that it won't kill us, I'm not feeling too confident about that." I scoffed.

"It won't." he insisted. "It wants irony. It wants to play a trick. It wants a joke. All we need to do is come up with a new punchline."

"What do you have in mind?" Chris asked him. I wasn't really paying attention when they laid out the plan. All I could think about was Andy and Melody. They better not be at the loft. The nogitsune will kill both of them if they are one their own.

Andy

I rocked myself back and forth, waiting. Stiles grinned maniacally. River coughed, his face pale. Blood started to trickling out of his mouth.

"It's not working." I breathed. "It's not working."

"Guess he wasn't strong after all." Stiles shrugged.

"Thank you." River coughed.

"For what?" I sobbed. "It isn't working like it should be."

"For trying." he wheezed. I could tell that he was in pain. I grasped his hand, trying to take away the pain.

"Don't do that." Stiles spat, knocking me away.

"I'm trying to help him." I screamed at him.

"There's is nothing that you can do." Stiles barked. "He's dying, Andy. It's all fault. Look what you did to him. He's suffering because of you. He'll never get to live out the rest of his human life. All because of you." I collapsed to the floor, sobbing into my hands. I did this. I did this to him. It's all my fault. He's suffering because of me. The loft door slid open. I didn't look up to see who it was.

"Hi dad," Stiles said cheerfully.

Here's another update! What do you think?" River got what he wanted, but like Paige, it didn't take. What will Andy do?

This doesn't really have anything to do with what is happening the story, but whatever. All of my Ocs are based off of kids at my school. I changed the name of some of them, but kept their personalities. The names that I didn't change were Andy, River and Kai. So yeah, they are actually people at my school. But anyways, getting to my point. You know how I had Andy, River and Kai try out for lacrosse? Well, I was talking to River at school and he told me that he had joined our local lacrosse team. How ironic is that? XD

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the chapter! Have a nice day! Please review!
