Chapter 38: Convulsion of Nature

Back at the duel, the Number 96: Dark Mist-controlled Dukey was dueling Jillian and she was doing horrible at the moment. She had a faceup Lightray Sorcerer (ATK: 2,300) and 1 facedown cards. the controlled Dukey had one of the most powerful cards in the game on her side of the field: Obelisk the Tormentor (ATK: 4,000) and its fist was heading towards the Sorcerer at fast speed.
Jillan quickly replied, "I activate Chain Healing to gain 400 lifepoints before your attack reaches him!"
As she began to glow (Jillian LP: 1700 - 2100), The mighty god struck with its fist, blasting Lightray Sorcerer into pieces (JIllian LP: 2100 - 300).
Johnny sighed and replied, "That was TOO close."
Susan then replied, "Chain Healing is quite a useful card if used at the best time."
Mary then replied, "Jillian is a clever girl."
Dark Mist then replied, "Big deal. You survive for one more turn. I'll set a card and that'll end my turn."
Jillian drew a card and replied, "I now banish 3 light monsters to summon one of my best cards!"
As she banished her Lightray Sorcerer, Lightray Skull and Lightray Gearfried, a Montage Dragon covering with a glow of light appeared with a silver mask covering each of its heads (ATK: ?).
"When 3-Headed Lightray Dragon is summoned this way, it gains the 300 ATK times the level of the banished monsters!"
(ATK: ? - 5,200).
Johnny laughed and replied, "YES!"
Sissy then replied, "She's going to bring that big eyesore down!"
Attack if you dare, you fool! My facedown card will be waiting for you!, Dark Mist said as he looked at his facedown card.
Jillian then replied, "I now play Night Shot!"
Suddenly, crosshairs appeared on the facedown card and 2 bullets struck and shattered the facedown Dimensional Prison to pieces.
"Now, attack Obelisk!"
The dragons opened their mouths and launched a huge wave of light that shot and struck the mighty god monster. It roared in pain before exploding into huge chunks of blue rocks that rained down on the field and a bit of it striking Dark Mist (Dark Mist LP: 750 - 0).
Johnny then replied, "Yea!"
Suddenly, the evil spirit of Black Mist lifted up into the sky and it replied,"I'll BE BACK, YOU LITTLE F..."
Before it could the chance to swear, it burst into a cloud of black smoke. Dukeys body returned to normal.
Johnny then replied, "Dukey!"
They all ran to him and Solomon picked up the Number monster and the Egyptian God Card and and he sighed and replied "We need to protect these cards from Jack."
Dukey groaned and replied, "What happened?"
Johnny smiled and replied, "Dark Mist took over your body and you dueled Jillian and she won."
He groaned and replied, "Glad the duel is over. Any good cards?"
Solomon then replied, "Your body taker used Obelisk the Tormentor and Jillian destroyed it!"
Dukey smiled and replied, "Good job, Jillian."
Jillian smiled and replied, "Glad I could."
Suddenly, she collapsed to the ground as well.
"JILLIAN!", the gang screamed as they ran to her body and Solomon felt her forehead and he replied, "This is not good. She's breathing, but its very weak!"
Johnny then replied, "What do we do?"
Solomon's eyes began to glow as a portal opened up nearby and he replied, "We need to talk her back to the village!"
The Test girls lifted her up on the back of Solomon and he walked through the portal with her.
Dukey then replied, "Did I use my real deck?"
Johnny then replied, "Used a Evilswarm deck, fuzzy buddy."
Dukey nodded and replied, "Yuck. Lets go."
Most of the gang walked trhough the portal, except for Susan and she replied, "Time to get those cases."
She grabbed them quickly and walked through the portal as well.

Back at the mansion, Jack was talking with WItty Phantom and Skeleton Knight about the duel that just happened.
Jack then replied, "That was a bust of a plan."
Skeleton Knight nodded and replied, "They may of beatened Dark Mist in a duel, but it isn't the last time they'll see him. I plan to bring him back with a much better and more powerful deck then before."
Jack then replied, "They need one more planet monster."
Skeleton Knight nodded and replied, "Yes I know, young man. The last one is the hardest of the set to get. They have to enter that dimension and it will not be a easy fight to get there and back, Jack."
Jack then replied, "I hope so. We're running out of men and they're all ready to protect my mansion."
Skeleton Knight nodded and replied, "It'll go good, my young friend. If you need anything else, let me know right away."
Suddenly, he vanished into dark smoke and Jack sighed and replied, "I hope he knows what the hell he's doing."
Witty Phantom then replied, "I was hoping for the same thing, sir."

Back at the Village's medical room, Command Knight and Warrior Dai Grepher were looking over Jillian."
Johnny sighed and replied, "Why those warriors?"
Freed then replied, "You prefer Kozaky or that creep Magicial Scientist to look over your fallened friend?"
Johnny then repleid, "Good point, sir."
Command Knight looked at the gang and she sighed and replied, "I can't figure out why her breathing is so slow. Her heart beat is stable, but We can't figure this out!"
Susan then replied, "Did it have to do that she battled Obelisk in a duel?"
Command Knight sighed and replied, "No, I don't think this is stress from facing down a Egyptian God, my young friends."
Freed then replied, "Does she have any family in this world?"
Dukey then replied, "Just Dark Vegan and we don't if he's in this world as well!"
Freed then replied, "Did ya know he runs that base where the portal is?"
Mary then replied, "What?"
Freed then replied, "He's not a member of the village, but he left for the base a week ago and challenged a Member of Jack's Army, a Cyber Commander, to a duel and won with no trouble at all. He had a powerful deck of the oddest looking monsters it."
Johnny then replied, "So, we need him to help Jillian back to full health again, sir?"
Freed then replied, "I can't think of anything else right now, Johnny. I really can't."
Johnny sighed and replied, "Lets go, gang."
Freed nodded and replied, "Good. The base is about 5 miles north of the village. Its a complete pebble and dirt-filled road on the way there."
Johnny then replied, "Lets go then."

About 10 minutes later, the gang arrived outside of the base.
Johnny thenr eplied," Dork Vegan, came on out!"
"HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT, JOHNNY TEST!", A voice was heard.
As the main doors opened, a green suited man wearing a green-steeled duel disk on his arm.
Susan then replied, "Here we go."
Dark Vegan the replied, "I'll crush you into tiny-tiny little pieces!"
Johnny then replied, "We don't have time for this. JIllian was in a duel and afte it ended she collapsed to the ground and her breathing is really weak at the moment."
Suddenly, his helmet went up, revealing a nerd of a man with glasses and replied, "My daughter has a Nattan virus? Great."
"Nattan Virus?", a confused Solomon asked.
Vegan sighed and replied, "A small cureable virus from our home planet. If she doesn't get the kumquata pills into her system, her whole body might shut down and she'll be gone from us."
Johnny then replied, "Give us them then!"
Dark Vegan sighed and replied, "Give me a few minutes."
He walked back into the base and then a few minutes later, he came out with a jar of pills and he replied, "She needs 3 of these pills in 3 hours, or its goodbye for her."
Solomon grabbed the jar and he replied, "Came back to the village after the duel is over and I'll have her back to normal."
He started to walk away and Dark Vegan and replied, "Since we have too, I Challenge you to a duel, Johnny Test!"
Johnny sighed and replied, "If I have too, dork."
He took out a 2nd deck of ards and he replied, "This is actually my 2nd deck I got from a ally of ours! It has alot of good cards I added to to make it better and its now ready to duel with!"
He slid the deck into his disk and he replied, "Lets duel already!"
Dark Vegan's helmet went back down and he replied, "Prepare for your defeat, Johnny Test!"
Both shuffled their deckss and drew 5 cards apiece.
"Game on!", both yelled out.
(Dark Vegan LP: 8000 - Johnny LP: 8000)
Dark Vegan drew a card and replied, "I'll set this monster facedown and then 1 card facedown for later and that'll end my turn."
Johnny drew a card and replied,"I summon my Warrior Dai Grepher!"
As he sat the card down, the mighty Dai Grepher appeared (ATK: 1,700).
Dark Vegan the replied, "I special summon my Naturia Cosmobeet!"
As she sat the card down, the large fruit appeared and knelt (DEF: 700).
Susan then replied, "I should of guessed he would use a Naturia Deck. Its makes alot of sense to me."
"Now, slice it up!"
The warrior charged and cut the large fruit in two with his mighty sword. The two pieces shattered to bits.
"I guess I end my turn now."
Dark Vegan drew a card and replied, "I tribute my facedown Naturia Vein for my Naturia Bamboo Shoot!"
As the monster vanished, a large green plant appeared (ATK: 2,000). "Since I tributed a Naturia monster to summon it, you can't use spell cards! Now, attack!"
the plant began to shake as it launched a wave of sharp leaves and they struck, blowing Warrior Dai Grepher into pixels (Johnny LP: 8000 - 7700).
"I'll end my turn now, fool!"
Johnny drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn."
Dark Vegan drew a card and replied, "Naturia Bamboo Shoot, attack!"
The plant launched its sharp leaves again and a Famillar Knight appeared n the card (DEF: 1,400) and was blown to shards as the attack struck him.
"When its destroyed, we both get a Level 4 monster from our hands and I Choose my Future Samurai!"
As he sat the card down, a warrior from the future appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"I'll use to set a monster on the field and then I'll set a card on the field and that'll end my turn."
Johnny drew a card and replied, "I first play Trade-In!"
He discarded a card and drew 2 new ones and then replied, "I now summon my Noble Knight Atrorigus!"
As he sat the card down, the famous warrior of light appeared with his mighty sword (ATK: 1,800).
"I now play Double Summon on my Future Samurai!"
Suddenly, she began to glow.
"I now banish my monster to destroy your Bamboshoot!"
As he banished Warrior Dai Grepher, it shot a wave of light that sliced cleanly though the huge plant. Seconds later, it fell backwards in two pieces.
"There you go. Future Samurai, attack!"
The warrior went and a Naturia Tulip appeared on the card (DEF: 1,500) and the warrior struck it with her sword, blowing it to bits.
"Artorigus, direct attack!"
The warrior went in and struck Vegan with his sword (Dark Vegan LP: 8000 - 6200) and he groaned and replied, "I activate..Damage Gate!"
Suddenly, Naturia Tulip reappeared (DEF: 1,500) and then knelt.
"Okay..then. I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn."
Dark Vegan drew a card and replied, "I now summon my Naturia Ragweed!"
As he sat the card down, a large plant with a cute face appeared (ATK: 1,200).
"I now tune them together!"
The cute tulip split apart into two white stars, which transformed into a green virtual ring. The ring flew through the body of the Naturia Ragweed, which transformed into three white stars. As this process occurred, Dark Vegan began to chant:
"A Mighty beast of nature and Earth appears and blows its enemies away with the mighty power of nature! Synchro Summon! Appear now "Naturia Beast!"
Suddenly, the large plant beast appeared (ATK: 2,200).
Susan then replied, "One of the rarest cards of the set."
Mary nodded and replied, "That is true, sis."
"Now, attack his Future Samurai with Roar of the Earth!"
It let out a mighty roar and the Gemini monster exploded into shards as the attack struck her (Johnny LP: 7700 - 7100).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Johnny drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my Atorigus to defense postion and then I'll set a card and that'll end my turn."
Dark Vegan drew a card and replied, "I summon my Naturia Horneedle!"
ASs he sat the card down, a cute bee flying around appeared (ATK: 1,800).
"Lets do it. Naturia Beast, attack!"
The beast let out another roar and the mighty knight shattered into shards of light and then Horneedle flew in and stung Johnny (Johnny LP: 7100 - 5300).
Dark Vegan laughed and replied, "You are going down, Test! I end my turn now."

Back at the Village, Command Knight was still watching over the sick Jillian.
She sighed and replied, "She's about to get a fever. I hope they can get a cure for her soon before anything bad happens."
Freed then replied, "They won't let us down."
Suddenly, Solomon walked in with the jar and he replied, "She only has about a couple of hours left of living. She needs 3 of these pills with water..quickly!"
Freed nodded and replied, "Lets get it done."
Solomon gave the jar to Command Knight and she replied, "Captain, get a glass of water."
He nodded as he did so and then Command Knight sighed and replied, "I hope this does work."
She opened her mouth and dropped the 3 pills into it and then the captain poured the glass of water into her mouth and they heard her gulp it down and Freed sighed and replied, "Anything yet?"
Command Knight felt her forehead and she replied, "The fever feels like its increasing. This isn't good at all."
Marauding Captain then replied, "We probably need to give it time for those pills to calm and cool her body down, sir."
Freed then replied, "You're probably right about that, my friend."
He looked at Solomon and he replied, "Return to the duel and we'll call you on the cellphone if anything changes, Solomon."
Solomon nodded and replied, "Thank you, sir."
As he walked out of the room, Command Knight then replied, "This has to be tough on them right now."
General Freed then replied, "Probably so, my young frtiend. I hope those pills calm her body down soon."
Marauding Captan then replied, "Lets hope for the best."

Back at the duel, Johnny was about to take his turn.
Dark Vegan sighed and replied, "I hope those pills work for her."
Johnny drew a card and replied, "I I now activate Birthright on the monster I discarded with my Trade-In card!"
Suddenly, a non-light form off Lightray Gearfried appeared (ATK: 2,800).
Dark Vegan lowered his mask and replied, "I'm kinda confused. I thought this was the Noble Knight deck?"
Johnny then replied, "It is actually a combo of Gemini monsters, Noble Knights and many other light Warrior monsters and monsters that support them. I now summon my Evocator Chevailer!"
As he sat the card down, the fiery Gemini warrior appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Lets do this! Chevalier, burn his bug up!"
The warrior swung his sword and a wave of flames shot out and then the insect went up in flames.
"Phoenix Gearfried, attack!"
The mighty warrior swung his swung and a larger wave of flames shot out and struck the Synchro. It roared in pain as the flames covered and burned its body and then it shattered into shards (Dark Vegan LP: 6200 - 5500).
Johnny smiled and replied, "Take that! I'll set a card and that'll end my turn."
Dark Vegan's mask went back down again and then he drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and 2 cards of my own facedown and that'll end my turn."
Johnny drew a card and replied, "I Gemini Summon my Phoenix Gearfried!"
Suddenly, his sword began to burn even more and then the trap card shattered to bits.
"Lets do it. Chevalier, attack that facedown monster!"
The warrior went in and a rocky monster with eyes and moss growing on it appeared (ATK: 1,500) and he struck it, blowing it into pebbles.
"When Naturia Cliff is destroyed, I can special summon a level 4 or Naturia monster and I choose a 2nd cliff!"
Suddenly, a second one appeared.
"Phoenix Gearfried, attack it!"
Suddenly, the warrior swung his sword and a wave of flames appeared and and the 2nd Cliff shattered into pieces and then a large green pumpkin appeared (ATK: 1,400).
"Okay..then. I end my turn now."
Dark Vegan drew a card and replied, "I summon my Naturia Rosewhip!"
As he sat the card down, a smiling rose with a whip-like body appeared (ATK: 600).
"I now activate Call of the Haunted!"
Suddenly, Naturia Ragweed appeared (ATK: 1,200).
"I now tune my Ragweed with my Rosewhip!"
The cute plant tuner split apart into three white stars, which transformed into a green virtual ring. The ring flew through the body of the Naturia Ragweed, which transformed into three white stars. As this process occurred, Dark Vegan began to chant:
"A mighty dragon of nature and Earth appears and blows its enemies away with the mighty power of nature! Synchro Summon! Appear now...Naturia Barkion!"
Suddenly, a mighty dragon with a exoskeleton made of tree bark appeared (ATK: 2,500).
"Next, I activate Disapear! banish your Future Samurai!"
He growled as he banished the card.
"I know about your warriors ability, foolish kid! I now activate Leodrake's Mane on my Pumpkin!"
Suddenly, the pumpkin began to glow (ATK: 1,400 - 3,000).
"Lets do this. Barkion, attack that weaker Gemini!"
The dragon flew in and struck with his head, blowing the fiery warrior into pixels.
"Pumpkin, attack!"
the pumpkin began to roll on the ground and then it jumped into the air and struck Phoenix Gearfried in the chest, blowing him into fiery embers (Johnny LP: 5300 - 4500).
Dark Vegan laughed and replied, "You'll never beat me you foolish kid! I end my turn now."
Johnny drew a card and replied, "I activate Silent Doom!"
Suddenly, Artorigus appeared and knelt (DEF: 1,800).
"I now send him to the graveyard to special summon my Ignoble Knight of Black Laundsallyn!"
As Artorigus vanished into grains of light, the dark knight appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"I Now summon my Noble Knight Medraut!"
As he sat the card down, another of the knights of light appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"I equip him with Noble Arms - Caliburn!"
Suddenly, his sword began to glow (ATK: 1,700 - 2,200 - LV: 4 - 5).
"I now overlay my 2 Level 5 monsters!"
The mighty warriors began to glow as they turned into orbs of light and a portal opened up nearby, which the orbs flew into.
"With these monsters, I construct the Overlay Network and Xyz Summon! Appear now...Gearfried the Brave Noble Knight!"
Suddenly, Gearfried appeared with glowing iron armor and weidling a glowing longsword appeared (ATK: 2,500).
"I activate his ability to banish a monster in my graveyard and your monster loses ATK equal to the level of the banished monster times two hundred!"
As he banished his Phoenix Gearfried, the dragon let out a roar (ATK: 2,500 - 900) and then the pumpkin weakened (ATK: 1,400 - 0).
"Next, I activate my Monster Reborn!"
Suddenly, Evocator Chevalier reappeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Lets do it. Gearfried go for the Pumpkin!"
The warrior went and sliced the large pumpkin cleanly in half with his sword. The pieces shattered to bits.
"Chevalier, go for that dragon!"
the warrior swung his blade and a wave of flames shot and it roasted the dragon and until it burst into a explosion of pixels (Dark Vegan LP: 5500 - 3000 - 2000).
"Take that! I end my turn now."
Dark Vegan drew a card and replied, "I actuvate Nature's Remedy. I now get 200 lifepoints for each Naturia monster in my graveyard!"
Suddenly, he began to glow (Dark Vegan LP: 2000 - 4600) and he sighed and replied, "Much Better. I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn."
Johnny drew a card and replied, "Attack!"
The fiery knight went in and a Naturia Beans appeared on the card (DEF: 200) and the fiery warrior sighed and returned to Johnnys side of the field and replied, "Done in by some beans! I end my turn now."
Dark Vegan drew a card and replied, "I activate Treasured Cards from Heaven!"
Both drew until they had 6 cards in their and he replied, "I now summon my Naturia Cherries!"
As he sat the card down, a cute pair of cherries appeared (ATK: 200).
"I now play Nature's Rebirth!"
Suddenly, Naturia Bamboo Shoot appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"I now tune all 3 of my monsters together!"
The cherries split apart into one white star, which transformed into a green virtual ring. The ring flew through the body of the Naturia Bamboo Shoot and Naturia Beans, which transformed into a total of 7 stars, which transformed into three white stars. As this process occurred, Dark Vegan began to chant:
"A mighty and powerful beast of nature charges in and protects the earth with its mighty claws! Appear Now..Naturia Leodrake!"
As he sat the card down, a large flowery beast appeared with a huge roar (ATK: 3,000).
Johnny then replied, "Its the only Naturia monster that doesn't have a effect!"
Dark Vegan laughed and replied, "You are right about that, kid! Now, smash his Xyz!"
The huge beast went in and struck him across the chest with its mighty claw and it let out a huge groan before exploding into shards (Johnny LP: 4500 - 4300).
"There you go. I'll end my turn now."
Johnny drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and that'll end my turn."
Dark Vegan drew a card and replied, "Prepare for your defeat, Test! I summon my Naturia Onion!"
As he sat the card down, a large onion with two large eyes appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"I now equip my mighty Leodrake with Fairy Meteor Crush! Now, attack his facedown monster!"
The huge beast went in and a Morphing Jar appeared on the card (DEF: 600) and the mighty beast crushed the jar into powder (Johnny LP: 4300 - 1900).
"I end my turn now."
Johnny drew a card and replied, "I summon my Rose, Warrior of Revenge!"
As he sat the card down, the fiery warrior appeared (ATK: 1,600).
"I now tune my monsters together!"
Rose suddenly split apart into four white stars, which transformed into a green virtual ring. The ring flew through the body of Evocator Chevalier, which transformed into a total of 4 white stars. As this process occurred, Johnny began to chant:
"A mighty warrior covered in cyber armor comes and attacks its monster without mercy! Synchro Summon! Come Forth..Colassal Fighter!"
As he sat the card down, a mighty warrior covered in armor appeared (ATK: 2,800).
"He gains 100 ATK for each warrior monster in my graveyard!"
Suddenly, its knuckles began to glow (ATK: 2,800 - 3,800).
"I Discarded a 2nd Artorigus and a Noble Knight Gwalchavad with my jar. Now, attack Naturia Leodrake with Cyber Knuckle Punch!"
The mighty warrior went in and punched the huge beast and it roared and thrashed around in pain before it exploded into triangles (Dark Vegan LP: 4600 - 3800).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Dark Vegan drew a card and replied, "I'll switch my Onion to defense postion and then 2 cards facedown and that'll end my turn now."
Johnny drew a card and replied, "I summon my Valkyrian Knight!"
As he sat the card down, another fiery warrior appeared (ATK: 1,900).
"Lets do it. Knight, attack!"
The knight went and sliced the onion up with her sword and then Dark Vegan then replied, "Since you destroyed my onion, one of your monsters gets this monster equipped to and also loses 1200 attack points!"
Suddenly, the large onion and it flew into the Synchro monster (ATK: 3,800 - 2,600) and then Johnny replied, "Whatever. Direct attack!"
the warrior went in and punched Dark Vegan in the chest (Dark Vegan LP: 3800 - 1200).
"There you go. I end my turn now."
Dark Vegan drew a card and replied, "I activate Miracle Synchro Fusion!"
As he took his Naturia Barkion and Naturia Beast and banished them, the mighty Naturia Exterio appeared with a mighty roar (ATK: 2,500).
"I now activate Shrink!"
Suddenly, the warrior shrank (ATK: 2,600 - 1,300).
"Now, attack!"
The huge beast let out a mighty roar and the huge warriors armor began to crack before it exploded into shards (Johnny LP: 1900 - 700) and then Johnny replied, "I now can special summon any Warrior from my graveyard, including Colassal Fighter himself!"
Dark Vegan laughed and replied, "Not going to happen, you fool ! I activate Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror! This card negates the effect of dark monsters that activate in your hand or graveyard! I end my turn now."
Johnny drew a card and replied, "I'll set a monster and I'll switch my Knight to defense postion and that'll end my turn."
Dark Vegan drew a card and replied, "I summon my Naturia Mantis!"
As he sat the card down, a large but cute mantis appeared (ATK: 1,700).
"Lets do it. Attack his Knight!"
The mantis flew in and struck with its arms, blowing the fiery warrior into pixels.
"Now, attack his facedown monster!"
The beast let out a mighty roar and a Apprentice Warrior appeared on the card (DEF: 900) and was blasted into pixels and then he took Valykyrian Knight and his Gearfried the Brave Noble Knight and then two appentice tokens appeared (DEF: 900 x2).
"Whatever you say. I end my turn now."
Johnny drew a card and replied, "I now banish 2 Light monsters to summon my Soul of Purity & Light!"
As he banished his Noble Knights Gwalchavad and Medraut, the angel of light appeared (ATK: 2,000).
"I now tribute all 3 of my monsters to summon my Gilford the Lightning!"
As the monsters vanished into grains of light, the mighty Gilford the Lightning appeared (ATK: 2,800).
Dark Vegan gulped and replied, "NO!"
Johnny laughed and replied, "Time to say goodbye to your monsters, Vegan!"
Suddenly, he pointed his sword and a wave of electricity it and shot out and struck both of his monsters, blasting both of the Naturia monsters into fragments.
"Now, FINISH THIS DUEL!"
The warrior went in and struck Dark Vegan, finishing him off (Dark Vegan LP: 1200 - 0).
Johnny smiled and replied, "There you go."
Dark Vegan groaned and replied, "Maybe you're a ally of mine after all."
Suddenly, he lifted his mask up and replied, "Will my daughter be okay?"
Susan then replied, "We hope so, Vegan."
