Hey everyone, RPG1115 here and sorry for taking a week off but I had something involving my part time job. It was my last day and I was tired so I didn't post. Sorry it is my fault but I suppose things like this happen.
Also another thing I want to share is that I've started playing Final Fantasy 7. Now I feel like I have shown a lot of the characters from it poorly so I do have more things planned and one character I feel I did really bad was Sephiroth so he will appear latter. Though this doesn't mean that the final Fantasy characters will ever become main characters. I'll make them more important but the main guys will always be Sora, Riku, Kairi, Xion, and Roxas. Those were the five at the start and I intend to keep it about them. Still for those of you who like Final Fantasy 7 I hope you'll be happy to know that I'll try to use those guys a bit more. Anyway that's all I want to say. Please review, I would greatly appreciate it and let's begin.
Chapter 38 The Girls Name
The girl stood there still shocked at what she had just said. She wanted to give Sora an answer but she honestly didn't know how she magically knew his name.
"I am sorry; I'm not too sure myself. I have no memory but your name just came to me. Do you know why I would know your name? Perhaps we met sometime in the past." The girl asked Sora hoping to get an answer.
Sora took a minute and studied the girl and tried to remember something. "Nope I've never seen you before in my life. And I think I'd remember someone using a keyblade especially one that was shaped like a gun. That reminds me what's up with that. Your whole hand was shaped like a gun." Sora said
"You saw that." The girl said looking down.
"Yea so what is up with that?" Sora asked
"I am not so sure myself. I believe the people from that castle said something about me being a human but they added some robot parts to me. I think they said my hands, feet, and part of my brain have all been turned into being partially robotic." The girl said
"So your half robot huh. Okay then this really seems like something I need to get Yen Sid and tell him about. What a pain Xion, Roxas, and Riku aren't even here at the moment. Oh well I'm sure we'll think of something. Look I'll take you to see Yen Sid. So what's your name?" Sora asked
"My name?" The girl asked confused.
"Yea your name. You know what people call you." Sora said
The girl went quiet at this.
"I do not know what my name is. I have no memory." She said
"Huh you seriously have no name huh. Hmm strange indeed. Hmm so what should we call you?" Sora said
"Are you just going to give me a name?" The girl asked
"Yea I mean you can't go walking around without one right. How's Bridget. It's easy to remember and since you seem to be pretty powerful then it should suit you. The name means strong after all." Sora said with a smirk.
"Bridget… Yes I suppose it will do. For now that will be my name." The girl said nodding at her name.
"Good then it's a lot easier to talk to someone when I know what to call them. So Bridget it is." Sora said
"Yes I suppose it is." Bridget said with a smile.
"Well then let's get heading to see Yen Sid" Sora said as he headed to Yen Sid's place with Bridget following him behind.
"And that's my story." Sora said as he explained what had happened to Yen Sid.
"A very interesting tale indeed Sora. And miss you said you have no memory whatsoever." Yen Sid said eyeing the girl.
"I have none. But for some reason I was able to say what Sora's name was." Bridget said
"I see are there other names you know as well?" Yen Sid asked
Bridget scanned the room and looked at both Kairi and Namine for a small minute before speaking. "She is Kairi, and the blond girl is called Namine. At least that is what I believe of course I could be wrong." Bridget said calmly
"Wow she knew our names too. Is there anyone else you know?" Kairi asked shocked
Bridget looked around and saw Donald and Goofy. She stared at them for a minute as if she tried to realize something important but after a minute she shook her head. "I do not know. I could take a wild guess I suppose but when I saw Sora Kairi and Namine something came to my mind. But in the end there was nothing with those two." Bridget said
"I see interesting indeed." Yen Sid said as he thought a few things over.
"Maybe she can only recognize humans. I mean Donald is a duck and Goofy is a dog so maybe she can't recognize animals." Kairi suggested.
"I do not think that is the case. When I woke up for the first time Vexen and Vanitas were there. I felt like I saw them before but I had no memory of their names. If I'm able to tell any humans name then I would've been able to tell theirs too but I couldn't. I also didn't have any idea who Yen Sid was. Sora had to introduce me. And I didn't even remember my true name." Bridget said
"You're true name? I thought you said to just call you Bridget." Kairi said
"Yea that's because that's what I named her." Sora said
"You named her just randomly and out of the blue. What do you think she is some kind of animal?" Kairi said shaking her head. Only Sora would do something so crazy like giving a complete stranger he just met with amnesia a name.
"Hey!" Donald said quacking angrily at Kairi.
"Gwarsh how harsh." Goofy said sounding down at the insult Kairi said
"Sorry about that. I spoke without thinking." Kairi said backing off a bit.
Namine started laughing at this. "You should really think more before you talk like that Kairi." Namine said still laughing.
"Don't worry about anything Kairi. Those two just love joking around. Believe me they'll be fighting about something else later on. Well maybe not Goofy but Donald will definitely." Mickey said
"Your Majesty cut it out!" Donald said annoyed.
"Anyway who cares if I gave her a name? Would you rather we go around not giving her one or calling her robot girl." Sora said
"I think she would be more of an android girl." Namine said
"Nah I'm calling Cyborg girl." Kairi said
"It really doesn't matter either way none of those names are good so we can't call her that. It would basically be treating her as if she was an object and she's not. She's a human being just like us so we needed to give her a name." Sora said
"Why Bridget though." Kairi asked
"Well I saw her fighting a bunch of heartless and she was super strong. Plus judging from what she's been through she must be tough. I can't even imagine waking up without any memories and finding out half of your body is not mechanic. So I figured Bridget is a good name. From what I heard it means strength." Sora said
"Only you would do that." Kairi said shaking her head.
"It is okay. I suppose it is a nice name. And it will do just fine for now." Bridget said.
"Very well then if you're okay with being called Bridget I suppose it's better than having no name at all." Kairi said
"Good then I am glad." Bridget said
"Now then you said Vexen was the one that made you like this. Do you have any idea what he wanted you to do?" Yen Sid asked though he already had a good feeling about what the answer would be.
Bridget went quiet for a moment not sure if she wanted to share this information with anybody. Truth be told she wasn't sure how they'd react.
"Come on tell us Bridget. We won't be mad or anything. Just share it with us." Sora said
Bridget nodded and decided to tell them. "I believe Vexen wanted me to kill all of you. He said that I was made to be a killing machine and that was my job. I don't know why but he said he choose me because I had a small amount of magic skill but at first it seemed as though I would never be able to do anything so he did something to me and made me lose my memory just so I would become a fighting machine. But his main purpose was for me to kill all of you." Bridget said revealing everything. Truth be told she was half expecting them to all react by being afraid of her after what she had just said.
"Oh is that all." Sora said sounding not shocked at all and kind of disappointed.
"Yes I had a feeling that that would be the issue. Still I was half afraid that it would be for something worse." Yen Sid said sounding a little relieved.
"You all seem surprisingly calm about this." Bridget said.
"Well this is the organization we are talking about. Forgive but I was half afraid that we would be in worse trouble than this. Still if that's all he ordered you to do then I really expected better from Vexen. Creating an android just to kill us. I expected better. But for now it seems as though we have nothing to worry about." Yen Sid said
"Are you freakin retarded old man?" Everyone heard a voice say as Tonitrus was seen entering the room.
"Is that the jerk Xion mentioned?" Sora asked as Kairi nodded
"Are you all idiots or something? This girl is not to be trusted. If she was made by the organization then I say we scrap her up right now." Tonitrus said
"He hold on who the hell asked your opinion you big jerk." Sora said
"Look morons. She was given orders to kill us right. Then she most likely is lying to us and trying to trick us right now. She'll probably try to get in real close to all of us and slit our throats while we are sleeping. We can't trust this little object now can we?" Tonitrus said
"NO that is not the case. I was not given any orders to lie to anyone. The only order was to kill all of you. But in the end I choose not to obey that and broke out. IF I had to guess at this point Vexen probably wants me dead as much as each of you do." Bridget said
"Isn't that awfully convenient. So you are the big rebellious hero who came to save all of us. Get real! Just how stupid do you think we are?"
Bridget looked down. She honestly was telling the truth but she saw no way to prove it to this man.
"I am sorry if you are looking for some proof as to why you should trust me then I am sorry to say that I have none. You will just have to take my word for it." Bridget said
"Really well no offense but if I took everyone's word then I'd wind up dead."
"Tonitrus cut it out. She is probably afraid okay. Look a lot happened to her and when Sora found her she was being attacked by heartless. Do you really believe that the organization would allow someone like her to be put in such danger?" Kairi said.
"You'd be surprised what those bastards would do." Tonitrus said
"Anyway Tonitrus I am pleased to say she is telling the truth. I can tell when a human being is lying and she is human after all. Her words are the truth and we can trust her. She will not betray us." Yen Sid said
"Oh really and I couldn't help overhearing your discussion. And from what I heard this chick is half robot now too. So forgive if I'm wrong but how do we know some orders weren't programed into her mind and she doesn't even know about it herself." Tonitrus said
"Because I know for a fact that Vexen can't do that. Look you can't give orders to a person who is half human. They can always defy them so programing orders would be pointless for her. She may always have had an urge to kill but she could always deny it. IF it was a pure robot I'd say we couldn't trust a word she says but that isn't the case. For now we can trust her. She can train with Sora and Kairi for now. It is an order now that no one is to attack her okay." Yen Sid said
"Please like we'd do anything to hurt her anyway." Sora said
"Sora I get the feeling that that order wasn't for me you or Namine." Kairi said with a smile.
Tonitrus grew angry and turned to leave. "Bunch of damn morons you all are. I swear it." Tonitrus said as he left.
"Okay so you're our new training buddy. SO let's see what you can do. There are always heartless if we look hard enough." Sora said to Bridget.
"Hold on there's something else we need to do first." Kairi said
"And what's that?" Sora asked
"Get her some real clothes. We can't have her going around like this." Kairi said
"Yes and then there's the problem of where she'll be staying." Sora said
"She may stay here. This way I can keep a close eye on her." Yen Sid said.
"I am okay with this. While I would not harm any of you I have no complaints about being watched." Bridget said
"Good then you will also be attending our school starting next week." Yen Sid said
"Very well" Bridget said
"Good then now let's get her some new clothes." Kairi said
"No way training first!" Sora said getting annoyed
"If neither of you mind, I would actually prefer it if I could get something to eat." Bridget said
"I see. Well I suppose we should feed her first." Kairi said
"Yea agreed. And then training right." Sora said
"Actually I would rather get something else too wear. Besides it would be weird being dressed in this black cloak. I almost feel like it would make you mistake me for an enemy." Bridget said
"Well Kairi and I wouldn't but I suppose it would be troublesome if Riku, Xion, and Kairi all saw you and instantly assumed you were a foe. So yea we'll change clothes after eating." Sora said giving in.
"Good then." Bridget said with a smile.
"But then training right." Sora said
"I swear boys have a one track mind." Kairi said shaking her head.
Bridget laughed but smiled. "Yes of course, I intend to start training. Don't worry about that Sora." Bridget said nodding as her, Kairi, Sora, and Namine left.
"Strange indeed." Yen Sid said
"Is something wrong master?" Mickey asked
"It's just strange. Think about it, even if the girl choose to rebel against Vexen, what reason would she have for coming here and being so friendly with us. She seemed to trust Sora, Kairi, and Namine almost instantly. It seemed as if she knew them but she claims she didn't and she has no memory of them. Plus Sora, Kairi, and Namine all said they have no memory of her. I know Sora isn't the smartest guy around so he may forget but for her to act like that around Kairi and Namine who is a straight A student, you'd think that surely at least one person would remember her. Plus Girls with light blue hair like hers aren't exactly common. If you think about it the only other blue haired girl I know is Aqua and even her hair isn't as light blue as the girls. Plus on top of that Sora named her and she seemed okay with it. Almost as if she trusted Sora and hearing Kairi and Namine's approval only made her happier. Strange indeed. It's as if there's some part of her that involves them. I just wonder what it is." Yen Sid said
"You don't believe that she may be lying to us or being a threat do you?" Mickey said
Yen Sid shook his head. "No Mickey I do not believe that. In fact just the opposite. I am sure that she's no harm but I just am curious about how she seems to have a connection with Sora and the others that's all." Yen Sid said
"I see but still I wonder why too. If it isn't for anything bad then what's going on?" Mickey said
"Who really cares. I still believe that this chick is going to be more harm than good." Tonitrus said annoyed.
"Wonderful but it's a pity that you have no say. I decide who joins our side and my word is final. I would listen to a few people suggestions if they weren't cocky and rude." Yen Sid said annoyed
"Whatever you say. Fine I'm going to get going. But I wonder what I'll do today. I know maybe I'll go train a bit. I need a good workout and kicking a few little brats' asses will make me feels great." Tonitrus said as he cracked his knuckles and look as if he was ready to beat someone into the ground.
Yen Sid of course noticed this immediately and rose up from his seat with a serious look in his eyes. "Tonitrus! You are to leave those students alone!" Yen Sid said
Tonitrus simple chuckled at this. "Aw come on old man I just wanted to give our new scrap metal friend a little welcome gift. I call it initiation. I'm sure even She'll find it very remember able. In fact I'd even go as far as to say this this will be a shocking experience. One that she'll never forget. And I intend to end it and make it quick. Like a thunderclap." Tonitrus said as he surrounded his fist with lighting.
"Listen to what Yen Sid says why don't you. He is after all the one in charge of everything." Mickey said growing annoyed.
"Tonitrus leave them alone. I will only warn you this one time. Do not try to start a fight with any of them. Do you understand?" Yen Sid warned one last time.
Tonitrus looked almost like he was sleeping and ignoring everything Yen Sid said. He opened one eye and nodded. "Of course old man. Whatever you want. If you're truly against it then I promise I won't do anything bad to our little newbie babies." Tonitrus said as he left the room.
"Oh boy I hope the others will be okay. Tonitrus at times can get a little out of hand in a fight especially if he starts to have fun." Yen Sid said shaking his head in disappointment.
"Gwarsh master Yen Sid. So he was lying." Goofy said
"Of he was lying you idiot!" Donald yelled
"Yes it is true that I could sense whenever someone lies. Even the world's greatest liar couldn't trick me now. Maybe a few years ago I wasn't as good but now I cannot be tricked to easily. However you don't need to be a master at sensing liers to be able to tell that he is lying. In fact even the world's dumbest person could tell that he was lying." Yen Sid said
"Gwarsh now I feel embarrassed." Goofy said hanging his head.
"You idiot. Pay more attention next time." Donald said still irritated with his friend.
"But still what should we do about Tonitrus. Should Donald, Goofy and I all step in?" Mickey said as he drew his keyblade and looked ready to stop Tonitrus.
"Aw come on Mickey where's your sense of fun." Everyone heard a voice say as Lea appeared in the doorway.
"Lea what brings you here?" Yen Sid asked
"I just walked past that Tonitrus guy. Besides him being a big asswhole to me and calling me hothead, he shared some interesting information about our new little team member. I must say I never thought Vexen would go this far. I am very impressed. Still to have his whole plan backfire completely is almost too funny to believe." Lea said laughing.
"Lea is there a reason why you came here?" Mickey asked confused.
"Of course there is. Isn't there always. Anyway I came here to ask you guys to allow Tonitrus to go fight Sora and the others. While I know he's out of their league it'll still be three on one. Namine may not be a fighter but do you really think Tonitrus would attack someone who isn't fighting." Lea said
"He would not. While he is a jerk and can be cruel, he would never attack someone who has nothing to do with a fight. Of course if someone was taken hostage I doubt he'd try to save them or do more than his job ordered him to but still he isn't evil." Yen Sid said
"Exactly so that is why I suggest allowing him to fight everyone. I doubt he'd go too far after all. Besides it'll be a good test to see how good Sora really is as well as how well he can work in a team with someone who he barely knows." Lea said
"I see. Actually it's funny you should say that. I was actually going to suggest something similar. So yes I do agree that fighting him may be a good idea. Of course while he'd never intentionally flat out do anything too bad to his comrades, I still worry about if he's pushed into a corner. If he ends up enjoying a fight to much then he can really be a pain to control. Oh well if I sense him getting out of control then I suppose that I'll just have to step in and do something. SO then I suppose we'll wait and see how this little fight of Tonitrus goes. I only wish Xion, Roxas, and Riku were back yet so they could fight him as well" Yen Sid said
"Wonderful, In fact I'm glad we all agree on this. Well I think I'll follow them in secret and see how the fight goes. I'll be sure to get it all memorized." Lea said
"No you are resting Lea. I already told you to take it easy after your fight with Xehanort." Yen Sid said sounding irritated.
"Aw man you're no fun. Then who will watch the match." Lea said
"From what I know they are getting food and new clothes before training. I get the feeling that they are going to go downtown. It so happens that Aqua is dragging Terra there because of how I told her to keep an eye on them. I'm sure I can ask them to watch and step in if they notice anything getting out of control." Yen Sid
"Aw man fine but I don't like it." Lea said
"I know you don't but still this is how it is. Anyway I hope they all do well and I am counting on things to go well." Yen Sid said curious to see how well Sora and Kairi can do against one of the best students he had and just how strong could this new girl actually become.
