Hey Guys! I will updating as much as I can in order to get this story done soon! Please Enjoy. :)
Liam stares at the clock. For some reason, He can't wait to get out of school today. He fiddles with his pencil and starts to work on his math homework since they don't have any more assignments for the rest of the day. The weather is unseasonably warm for early March, so that certainly is not helping Liam to gain any more focus for the life of him. He can practically hear the tick of the old clock as he does his work. Just a few more minutes, and then finally, that old, clattery school bell rings and Liam bolts out of class.

"Liam, wait, why are you running so fast?" Chloe asks.

Liam stops for just a minute and shrugs his shoulders. "I dunno, just anxious to get out of school I guess." He tells her.

"I hear you on that one, for some reason class just seemed extremely boring today, I just can't seem to figure out why."
"Me neither."
"I'll see you later, Liam . Make sure you tell your family I said hi."
Liam beams brightly at Chloe. "Always do. I'll see you tomorrow, Chloe."

"Liam, tomorrow's Saturday."
Liam blushes. "Oh yeah, it is. I guess I will see you Monday then."

"See you Monday."
Liam walks to the car to see his mom smiling at him.

"Hi Sweetie, you have a good day?" Rachel asks.

"I guess I did, it was just so long and boring." He says.

Rachel laughs. "You are just so much like your dad."
Liam rolls his eyes playfully. "I know, you tell me that at least once a day, Mom."
"Sorry baby, I just love you two so much." She says, kissing his cheeks over and over like she used to when he was little.

"Mom," he says smirking. "I'm eleven years old not two."
"I know, I can't believe that you are going to in middle school next year, you have definitely grown up way too fast for me to handle."
"I can't believe it either mom, did I tell you that I'm going to be auditioning for advanced choir at middle school."
"I would not expect anything less from you. You're a superstar."

"Hey Buddy, can you help me with something?" Finn asks Liam.

Liam smiles. "Well Dad, it depends what kind of help do you need?"
"Well you know, your mom and I's 15th wedding anniversary is coming up, and I still haven't picked out the song that I am going to sing her, you know, like I do every year."
"Let me get this straight, you want me to help you pick out the song that you are going to sing to Mom?"
"That's exactly what I was thinking. So will you help me?"
"I would love to, if there's one person who loves my mom more than I do it's you, Dad."
"I'm glad you are so willing to help me, your sisters did not seem to interested in the idea of helping me."
"Yeah, well, they still like dolls too much, trust me, when they are teenagers they will love helping you with this kind of stuff."
"I do not even want to think about either one of your sisters being teenagers."
"Trust me, neither do I."

"So, your mom told me you were going to try out for advanced choir for the middle school, is that true?"
"Yeah, I think I can make it."
"You know what, I know you can."
"Thanks Dad, I hope so."

"Mrs. Hardwick, the middle school chorus director, actually asked me if you were trying out"
"You know her?"
"Hey, I know all of the teachers in the school district."
"I know, I guess I just forgot."
"Don't use it to your advantage though, I told her to make sure that you need to earn your own spot."
"I will definitely earn my own spot, I promise."
"Good."

"So, can you believe we've almost been married for almost 15 years?" Rachel asks Finn.

"It's so weird I feel like we only met just yesterday sometimes, it's crazy." Finn replies.

"I know, and here we are, 3 kids later."

"And our oldest is going to be in middle school next year."
"Finn, please don't bring that up, I don't even want to think about him being middle school. That means puberty… and girlfriends."
"Honey, we totally know that Chloe is going to be the one to be his first girlfriend, so I highly doubt we will have much to worry about in that department."
"I know, they're cute."
'I agree."
"Baby, I don't think we should go out for our anniversary Sunday."
"Why not? We always do. "

"Because I can't find a good sitter that's comfortable watching Hope."
"Rach, we'll only be gone for no more than two hours. Liam is 11 I think he can handle watching his baby sisters. He's really good with them."
"You know, I guess you are right."
"I love you."
"I love you too."

Sunday night approaches very quickly.

"Mom, I can handle it. I promise." Liam says, right before Rachel walks out the door.

"I know, sorry, and don't forget she caths at seven thirty." Rachel says.

"Got it Mom. You and dad go have fun, you deserve it."
Half an hour later things get a little crazy.

"Liam, I want Mommy." Hope shrieks.

"She will be home soon. I promise." Liam tells her
"But I'm tired, and Mommy always sings me a lullaby."
"I know, but what if I do?"

"But you aren't Mommy!"
"I know, but I'll have her sing you one when she gets home, okay."

"Okay."
"Good girl, now let's get our daddy's favorite princess to bed."
"I thought his favorite princess was our mommy."
"You know, I think you are right."

A bit after Hope is in bed, Finn and Rachel get home.

"Were your sisters good for you while we were gone?" Rachel asks.

"Hope was a little upset that you didn't get to sing her a lullaby, but other than that they were pretty good, it was fun. You should let me watch them more often." Liam says smiling.
"You know what, I think I am going to."

"Hey Rach?" Finn says.

"Yes Honey, what is it?" Rachel asks.

"Am I a bad dad?"
"No, you are an absolutely wonderful father and I think you know that."

"But I'm never home anymore."
"That doesn't mean anything."
But my dad was never home, and you know what happened."
"Finn, don't say that. You aren't your dad."

"I know, but I feel so bad."
"You don't have to put yourself, the kids understand how busy you are, and that you love your job."
"I don't know what I would do without you around to keep me sane, Rach."
"You would be just fine, babe. You do just fine when I'm busy with work and not home."
"I guess I do, I love you so much, Rachel."
"I love you too Finn, you will never know how truly proud of you I am."

"Mommy, when is Daddy going to be home?" Hope asks, she's pouting ever so slightly.

"He will be home just in time for dinner, baby girl, I promise." Rachel says kissing her daughter on the forehead.

"But Mommy, I miss him. I want him to come home right now."
"Sweetie, he can't, you know that, but as soon as your daddy gets home, he'll come straight over to your room to see you."
Hopes face brightens. "Am I really that special, Momma?"
"Of course you are, we all love our little star so much.:
"Hey Mom, can you help me with this homework?" Liam asks.

"What kind of homework is it?" Rachel questions.

"Math."
"Honey, you know I'm not good at math. But I'll try."
"Thanks Mom."
"Liam Honey, this is right, you just forgot to reduce the fraction."
Liam blushes, clearly flustered with himself. "Oh, okay."
"You don't have to beat yourself up about missing one problem, you are a very bright kid."

"Mom, how did you notice that?"
"Sweetheart, as your mother it is my job to notice the things that no one else will."
Liam smiles a bit. "You mean besides, Chloe, she notices everything."
"That is because Chloe is a very special girl, Liam."
"I really, like her, Mom."
"I know, come here you, you are growing up way too fast for me to handle. You are not going to middle school next year. I'm keeping you little forever."
"I will always be your little boy, Mom. I promise, you are going to be stuck with me forever."
Rachel smiles. "Oh my, you are so your father's son."
"I know Mom, you tell me that all of the time, but I really don't mind at all."
"You know it's only because I love you so much."

Finn gets home right before dinner, just as promised. And he is so happy to see the kids."
"Daddy, you're home! I missed you so much!" Hope squeals as soon as she sees Finn.

"Oh, you come here, baby girl. I missed you too, so much." Finn tells his three year old daughter.

"Are you guys gonna win another big trophy, Daddy."
"That's the plan."
"It should be as big as you are, Daddy!"
"I don't know about that, that's a really big trophy."
"But you guys are the bestest and you should get to win the biggest trophy in the whole wide world."
"If you say so, I have to go see your brother now, okay?"
"But you'll sit by me at dinner, right, Daddy?"
"Of course I will."

"Yay."
"Hey Dad, do I have to go to middle school?" Liam asks.

"Of course you do, but you will like it, I promise." Finn says.

"Everyone acts like it's a big deal."
"It really isn't, it's just your separate classes and stuff."
"Oh, I actually don't think I will mind that part too much."
"Yeah, and your choir teacher is really nice, I think you are really going to like her."
"I hope I will."
"You will, I promise."
