Trey re-called all of his Pokemon and they went to Trey's backyard. It was massive to say the least. Trey went to the far end of the yard and waited. The clouds moved lazily overhead. A slight breeze blew through the trees.
Victor goes to the other end of the yard and smiles.
Trey nodded. "Go Eve." He said as he sent out Eve. "Use Hail." Eve tensed up and clouds formed overhead. Ice began to fall from the sky. Eve shuddered in delight.
"Go Shade" Victor says as he lets her out.
Shade stood at attention, not sure what she should do. "Ice Beam." Trey commanded. Eve opened her mouth and fired and Ice Beam. It rocketed toward Shade and hit her square on. A bit of ice formed on her leg, slowing her movement.
"Use Fire Fang!" Victor tells her. Shade's teeth light up on fire and runs towards Eve to bite her.
Shade grabbed hold of Eve. "Blizzard." Trey said. Eve shook and a blizzard erupted from her body. The hail hit her body and, thanks to her ability, healed her wound slightly.
"Now got for a Poison Fang!" Victor tells Shade.
Shade opened her mouth to bite but Eve jumped away. The ice on her leg was growing with each impact of the hail and the wind from Blizzard made it larger.
"Shade, use the heat from a Fire Fang to warm your leg up!" Victor tells her.
"Point Blank Freeze." Trey said. Shade melted the ice and looked up to see Eve landing on her back. Eve dug her claws into Shade's skin and bit down on her hard. She used the extra power from the Hail and super charged her Ice Beam. She fired.
Victor returns Shade to her ball after the attack was over. "Flora your up!" Victor says as he lets her out. "Use Fire Punch!" He tells Flora and she charges with her fist ablaze.
Eve was hit and thrown back. She couldn't move. She had to recharge. She stood there panting from the loss of energy, the Hail helped slightly.
"Now finish it with Tri-Punch!" Victor tells Flora.
Eve was thrown back, knocked out. "Go Furea." Trey said. "Guess I should expect that from your strongest Pokemon." Trey said, referring to Eve.
"Flora use Calm Mind" Victor tells her.
"Use Night Slash." Trey said. Furea swung her arms. She fired a few Night Slashes into Flora, throwing her back.
"Flora, use Return!" He tells her and she unleashes a full-powered Return.
Furea was thrown back. She melted away and revealed Nima. "Night Slash." Trey commanded. Nima lept into the air and fired Night Slashes again.
Victor recalls Flora and sends Volt out. "Volt use Pin Missle!" he tells him and Volt starts firing pin-like missles at Nima.
Nima skirted around them and fired more slashes.
"Use Agility followed by Quick Attack!" Victor tells Volt. The Jolteon suddenly speeds up and then disappears, Nima is send flying from an unseen force and Volt reapears where he was standing before.
Nima fell to the ground and dissipated. She was completely gone. He laughter was heard coming from everywhere.
"What the hell?" Volt says as he looks around, trying to locate where the laugher was coming from.
A hand shot from underneath him and grabbed his head. He was slammed to the ground repeatedly and bashed against rocks. Nima rose from the ground, holding him above her head. Her red claws wrapped tightly around his neck. Her smile, wicked like a demon.
"Drop him now Nima!" Victor orders her as he starts to make his way to her, Worried about Volt and sensing something wrong with Nima.
Nima dropped Volt and punched Victor in the face, sending him flying. She had several large spikes sticking from her back. Blood dripped from where the spikes erupted. Trey rand forward and placed his foot to her back. He wrapped his hands around one of the spikes and began to pull. Nima turned and backhanded Trey into a tree. Her fangs had elongated and her claws like razors. Both of the trainers' Pokemon ran forward and tried to attack her. She easily dodged all their attacks and turned to Trey. RedEyes walked forward. He cracked his neck.
Victor increases his power to level eight and sprinted towards Nima. He then uses an Aura Blast followed by an Aura Bind on her.
Nima smiled and broke her bond. She grabbed Victor by the neck and slammed him into the ground. She pulled back her fist and began to charge a Night Daze. "This is an irritant." RedEyes said. "Stop before i kill you." Nima turned and let go of Victor. She stood. RedEyes cracked his fingers and drew his sword. Nima charged him. RedEyes appeared behind her and pulled out the three spikes. She howled in pain and fell. He twirled his sword and stabbed her in the back. Black mist was sucked out and absorbed into his sword. He twirled it again and put it away. He picked up Nima and said sternly, "The battle is over. No victor, no penalty."
"What happened to her?" Victor asks as he goes to Volt before asking. "Are you ok Volt?".
Blood from Nima dripped down RedEyes' coat. "Those spikes." He said. He drew a gun and fired in into a tree. A soldier fell from the tree and squirmed on the ground for a few seconds before dying. A large gun rested beside him. "He must have shot those into Nima's back when she was knocked back by Volt." RedEyes said. "We need to get her to a hospital. Mary, take one of these to MewTwo and the other to Him. We'll keep the third and examine it. And, please dispose of the body." Mary nodded and disappeared, along with two of the large spikes.
Victor recalls Volt and goes to give Crystal a hug as he says, "I had a feeling those spikes where what was effecting her".
Crystal nodded and rubbed her belly. "I hope Nima is alright." She said, not thinking abut Volt. RedEyes gave Nima to Trey and said, "Take her, She will bleed out soon." Trey nodded and ran. Ran as fast as he could. He burst into the door of the Pokemon Canter and called out, "Nurse Joy!" Joy ran over and looked Nima over. She rushed Trey and her to the back. Nima was put into surgery immediately. Trey waited. A doctor came out of the room and said, "I need some water, want anything?" Trey shook his head. The doctor looked at him and said, "Hey, aren't you Roger's son?" Trey looked up at him and said, "Roger was my father's name. My name is Trey." The doctor looked down at him and said, "We'll talk later." He then left, leaving Trey alone.
Victor lets Flora out and has Volt get treatment right away and says to them, "This is the second time I've saved Volt but, this time I held back because I didn't want to kill Nima".
"No way." RedEyes said as he examined the gun. "To put it in numbers, she was a fifteen. Whatever was shot into her back, it made her stronger than even Luna. In that state, she could have killed you. Maybe even Mary."
"Would destroying them while they where in her remove the affect they were having on her?" Victor asks him.
"No idea. But the effect is gone now." RedEyes said as he drew his sword and plunged it into the ground. The black mist erupted from the blade and was sucked into the ground. "Great." A voice said from all around them. It was female. "Now I have to clean the grass and the trees. Dammit RedEyes." "Sorry Celibi." RedEyes said as he pulled out his sword. "But this is from the earth, now it needs to be returned." "Hmph." Celibi said before becoming quiet.
"If I may ask, what are you doing here? Just passing by?" Victor asks before bowing to her to show respect.
"I'm everywhere." Celibi said. "I can tune in wherever there is a plant."
"That sounds as if you are Mother Nature" Victor says to her.
"Precisely." She said. Then her presence left. "I'll go see Trey. I'm sure he is blaming himself for all of this." RedEyes said.
"We will check on Volt then" Victor tells him.
RedEyes nodded and turned to walk. "Stay here for now, go inside. We have to think of why, and what to say to your mom. Maybe you should give her a call." He said as he left.
"I'm worried about how long we can keep this from her" Victor tells his pokemon as the walk.
"We can keep it up." Crystal assured.
"I hope so" Victor says to them.
RedEyes walked into the Pokemon Center. He pushed his way past a nurse and sat down next to Trey. "Here we are again." He said. Trey nodded and said, "I'm sure you know what I'm thinking." RedEyes nodded and said, "Yeah. It's not-" "But it still feels like it is." Trey interrupted. "I know it's not, but it still feels so. I'm responsible for their well-being." "Exactly." RedEyes said. "It's your fault. You hid in the tree and shot Nima in the back with a large cannon loaded with spikes that were bubbling with dark energy from who knows where." Trey looked at him. Then began to laugh. "I guess so." He said. "I guess it's really not, but I still feel bad. It may be hard to believe, but I love her. I love them all. It's not a love like a mother loves her children, it's a love like yours for Mary. And her for you. It hurts to see them in pain." RedEyes nodded and put his hand to his chin. "I see." He said. A nurse walked out from the operation room. "Ugh, it's you again." She said to Trey. "It's always you and that other kid. Well the three holes were easily mended. The blade wound was aswell. Who ever caused it had no intention of killing her. It went past every major artery and bone. Nothing was hurt except for tissue. She'll be fine within a week. She'll be on her feet by tomorrow." "That fast?" Trey asked. "Of course." Nurse Joy said. "She's a Pokemon. She can come home with you now. You have a Chansey so give her this." She handed Trey a piece of paper. "She'll know what to do." Trey nodded and stood along with RedEyes. Meanwhile, at Trey's house.
Victor walked up the his Chancey and asked, "How is Volt doing?".
"Fine. A few broken bones and he won't be walking right for a month but other than that, he should be fine." She said as she popped on of Volt's legs back into place, causing him to shout in pain. "Come now, your a big man." She teased.
"Thats good to hear, I was worried about any damage to his throat the most" Victor tells Joy.
"His throat is fine." She said as she opened his mouth. "She was squeezing hard, but not as hard as she could have."
Its a good thing that he was already going to stay home" Victor says.
"Hm?" Joy asked. "Why was he going to stay home?"
"He was going to stay home with Crystal since she is staying with mom" Victor tells her.
Joy nodded. "She could give birth any day now." She added. Just then, the front door opened and Trey walked in. He was carrying Nima. He walked over and placed her on his couch.
"How is she doing?" Victor asks Trey.
"Fine." He said. RedEyes walked in and closed the door.
"How did that guy get pass the permiditeir though?" Victor wonders out loud.
"He didn't." RedEyes said as he picked up the large gun that fired the spikes. "He must have been out there for days. I searched the tree. There were wrappers for chips and food. Mary and I will search the city thoroughly tomorrow. " Just then Mary opened a window and jumped in. "I disposed of the body and gave the spikes to their new owners." She said as she hugged RedEyes. RedEyes nodded and said, "Thank you. We should search the town tomorrow. Starting with the forest and moving towards Town Hall at the center of town." Mary nodded.
"Its best we get rid of any that might be hiding now that we know that one was" Victor comments.
Trey nodded. "No way I'm gonna let any of them live. Not after what they did to Nima." He said angrily.
"I'm with you on that, You guys are like family to me" Victor tells him.
Trey nodded. "It seems the Crimson Guard and the men wearing black suits are teaming up." He said. RedEyes nodded.
"That means we have countless more to deal with than we did already" Victor says as he rubs his head.
Trey nodded. Nima stirred. She opened her eyes and looked around. "Hey." Trey said as he sat next to her.
"How do you feel?" Victor asks her.
Nima looked around and stayed silent. She looked away from Trey who was staring at her intently, checking her for any wounds that Nurse Joy may have missed, even though he doubted she did. She had a frown on her face.
"You remember what happened, don't you?" Victor softly tells her as he frowns.
She nodded and Trey noticed tears welling up in her eyes.
Victor gets up and brings Volt over so she can see that he is going to be alright.
Nima nodded again and shot up. She wrapped her arms around Trey. She was convulsing with quiet sobs. Trey wrapped his arms around her as well and held her close. RedEyes and Mary both turned away and shut their eyes. "It is a Zoroark's prerogative." He said. "To let none other than the one they love see them cry."
Victor and his pokemon shut their eyes and look away too.
Nima continued to sob into Trey's shoulder. Trey squeezed her tighter. "What am I?" She whispered into his ear as she sobbed.
Victor continues to frown as he pets Volt some.
Trey leaned forward and whispered back, "Nima." It was corny. But she sobbed some more, louder this time. Hoping the other's didn't see her. She only wanted Trey to see her cry.
Victor tries to pretend that he doesn't hear her crying.
She eventually stopped sobbing after a good fifteen minutes. Trey kissed her and laid her back down onto the couch. She wiped her eyes. "T-thank you." She said.
Victor opens his eyes and turns back around.
RedEyes and Mary turned. RedEyes cracked his neck and said, "As a Zoroark myself, I understand. Even if I don't know what it is like to cry myself, I wouldn't want anyone to see such an action. I don't know why we think that way. It's as if it's an unspoken law."
"It might have something to do with pride" Victor comments.
"Maybe." RedEyes said as he placed his hand to his chin. "My brothers and sisters are quite headstrong by nature. The same goes for me." Mary leaned against him. "That is one of your best qualities." She said with a smile. Trey nodded. "I'm sorry Volt." Nima said.
"I'm not blaming you for what you did Nima. The power that asshole shot into you took over" Volt tells her.
Nima nodded. Everything eventually calmed down and Trey gave the piece of paper to Joy as she left with Victor.
"What does it say?" Victor asks her as he and his pokemon head home.
"It tells me when to remove her stitches." Joy said. "And what to expect." Trey and his Pokemon climbed into bed. RedEyes and Mary were situated in the guest bedroom, and Nima was next to Trey. Along with his other Pokemon. They decided not to have sex, they were too exhausted. They fell almost immediately asleep.
Victor lets the rest of his pokemon out before they get home. Once back at home, Victor and his pokemon went straight to bed too.
The next morning, Trey got out of bed drearily. He went down stairs drearily and made breakfast. RedEyes came downstairs. He had no shirt on, and had his coat slung over his shoulder. Trey's eye twitched. He was well built from years of working out, but RedEyes was amazing. He had zero fat on his body. He had rippling muscles, but wasn't overly massive like a certain star called the Boulder. A perfect six pack and pecks that looked hard as steel. It probably helped that he wasn't human, but was still huge. No wonder Mary was so keen on being his one and only mate. "Morning." RedEyes said. "Morning." Trey responded. "You like eggs?" "Yeah." RedEyes said. "Thanks again for letting me live here." "No problem." Trey said with a smile. "You've saved my ass more than once. It was the least I could do." RedEyes nodded. Mary came downstairs wearing a towel around her body and around her head. Trey turned and tried to keep the blood from his nose from dripping onto the eggs. "You forgot your shirt." She said. She handed a crimson T-shirt to RedEyes. RedEyes nodded and took it. "Thanks." He said as he put it on. He then dawned his coat and stretched. He and Mary kissed and RedEyes said, "You can turn around Trey, she's beautiful, so just let your nose bleed." Trey nodded and turned.
Victor got up and got some clean clothes on before going into the kitchen and says, "Good morning everyone".
Everyone greeted him. They sat around a table. Trey had finished making breakfast and went up to wake his girls. He would have gotten in the shower already, but RedEyes and Mary had already used it. It also appeared that they had used it at the same time.
"I knew you were a little crazy but I didn't you would do a crazy stunt like that" Victor says to Volt as a cover up for what really happened to him.
"Huh?" Volt said. "Oh, right right right. The uh, the thing. What was it again?"
"You had Luna fling you all the way to the other side of Petalberg forest and ended up hitting an already pissed off Fearow that wants revenge on a kid with a Pikachu and it went nuts on you" Victor tells him.
"Oh right." Volt said. "Yeah, whoever that kid was, he will probably never age and suck for the rest of his life."
"Yeah" Victor says as he nods.
Trey walked upstairs and got everyone up. "C-can you carry me?" Nima asked. Trey nodded and said, "Sure." He picked her up. Furea and Lucy both stretched, loosening their muscles, Luna got her dress back on, and Oliva put on her scarf.
Everyone had breakfast and got ready for the day. Victor decided to check his pokedex to see what he can learn.
His pokedex and showed him the Pokemon he had seen and caught.
After looking through it, Victor closes it up and puts it away.
As they sat around the table, Trey began to think. As he rested his hand on his head and shoved a fork full of pancakes in his mouth, he realized something.
"Ok, Who wants to compete in this gym battle?" Victor asks his pokemon.
"I would." Volt said. "But that Fearow toar me up hard." "And I can't." Crystal said. "I would." Aurora said as she poked her head through the open window. "And so would I." Joy added. "Really?" Flora said, already destined to participate. "But Chansey aren't that good at combat."
"True but, Chansey have high HP and their healing abilities. They also have high Special Defense but have low Defense in return" Victor coments after a quick look at his pokedex.
Flora nodded. "You sounded like trey for a second." She said with a smirk.
"Maybe but, I have to try to be smarter about being a trainer" Victor tells her.
"Maybe, you may want to talk to trey about having him teach us some combos. Luna and I talked once, she informed me that each of his Pokemon have combos, much like Lucy's and Eve's." She said.
"I made the combo Tri-Punch though, talking to him would help me with making them" Victor says to her.
Flora nodded. Trey's eyes widened. He realized something rave. Dangerous. He went pale. "What?" Luna asked as she lo0oked at him, slightly frightened. "What..." Trey said quietly. "We have to leave town." He said aloud. "Lucy, go to Victor's house and tel him he better fight the gym leader, we need to hit the road until it's safe to return." Lucy stood and ran from the house, taking some bacon with her. "What have you figured out?" RedEyes said. "We don't know." Trey said. "That's the thing, we have no idea who it is or what they want with us. the Crimson Guard and some other organization...What do they want with Victor and I?" "I see, and if we stay, and they don't get what they want, they will target Victor's mother, the people at the bar, Seth." RedEyes said. He stood. "Mary, call Yarn." Mary nodded and went to call someone on Trey's home phone.
Victor left Crystal and Volts pokeballs with mom and said bye to them before returning his pokemon and heading out to the gym.
Lucy caught up with them. "Victor!" She called.
"What is it?" he asks her.
"Trey realized something, we need to get out of town. Fight the gym leader, win, and meet us at his house." She said, as she ran forward. "I'll help as a replacement for Crystal."
"All right, lets go" Victor tells her before running to the gym.
Lucy followed. Thinking of how she could help her master.
They soon made it to the gym and Victor took his place on the battlefield.
The gym leader walked up to his spot and said, "O.k let's try something new." He sent out three Pokemon at once. "A triple battle."
Victor sees his soon to be in-laws sitting down to watch."Flora, Aurora and, Joy come on out!" Victor says as he lets them out.
Lucy folded her arms and closed her eyes. The gym leader sent out Exploud, Vigorath, and Slaking.
"Aurora use Dragonbreath on Exploud, Flora use Fire Punch on Slaking and, Joy use Doubleslap on Vigorath!" Victor tells them and his pokemon attack.
Exploud dodged the dragon breath while the others took the hits. "Exploud, Thunder Punch. Vigorath, Slash." Norman said.
Flora was hit while the others dodged. "Flora, Teleport and use Tri-Punch, Joy use Metronome and, Aurora use Water Pulse" Victor tells them.
Exploud was thrown back from the Tri-Punch and was burned. Joy's metronome turned into magnitude 10. Causing everyone damage. Slaking took the water pulse without a hitch. "Thunder punch on the water type." Norman commanded. "Focus Blast on the Chansey, and Slash on the Psychic."
"Flora Confusion, Aurora Dragonbreath and, Joy use Doubleslap to send the Focus Blast back!" Victor tells them.
Vigorath and Slaking were knocked out. Exploud took the damage. "Last one, I guess t was a bad idea to accept the challengge without fully healing. Thunder punch one last time on the water type." Norman said.
"Counter it with Twister" Victor tells Aurora.
Exploud was knocked out. Norman sighed and tossed the badge to Victor. "That was a fluke." he said. "My Pokemon were not completely healthy but here you go anyway."
Victor thanks him for the badge and puts it in his badge case before recalling Aurora and Joy. He then gets Gallade and Gardevoir and says to them, "We need to go straight to Trey's house, I want you two to come with incase its what he realized is something you should know too" before heading straight there with them.
Trey was walking from his house with RedEyes, Mary and all his Pokemon. Lucy ran forward and hugged Trey. "Hey you alright?" Trey asked. She nodded.
"What's wrong Trey? Lucy sounded like she was a little scared when she found me" Victor tells him.
"We have to leave town." He said. "By us being here, we are putting everyone in danger. Also," He paused. "we have no idea what they want." The realization hit Victor like a ton pf bricks.
"Gallade, Gardevoir; I need you two to do what you can to keep a lookout for the Crimson Guard and any of ther allies" Victor tells them with a hint of panic in his voice.
Gallade nodded and said, "I'll inform your mother that you must leave. Go."
"Thank you" Victor tells him before heading out with the others.
In a dark room, lit only by the blue glow of screens, Ingrowth crouched. "Let them be." The man watching the screens said. "They are smart. So let them get comfortable." "Yessir Abyss Sir. Soon you will bring back our god, then we will truly, finally, exist." Ingrowth replied. He then stood and left the chamber. The man began to laugh. His voice was deep. Like a roar from the earth.
"I think we should go through Meteor Cave and continue from there" Victor suggests as they head to Petalburg Forest.
"Ok." Trey said.
"Also, do you think you can teach me about combos?" Victor asks him.
"Sure. Tell me you Pokemon's moves." Trey said. "Or rather, tell me...I don't know. Volt's moves and I will demonstration."
Victor nods and takes his pokedex out and brings up Volt's moves before showing it to him which read: Helping Hand, Tackle, Tail Whip, Sand-Attack, Growl, Quick Attack, Return, Dig, Bite, Thundershock Double Kick, Thunder Fang, Pin Missle, Agility, Thunder Wave.
Trey raise an eyebrow and said, "Ok. Use agility, Thunder Fang, Bite, and Pin Missile all at once. Furea, if you please." Furea nodded and walked forward. She turned toward Trey and stretched. "Do that on Furea. Don't worry, use full power. She'll be fine." Trey assured.
"Volt is back at home though" Victor tells him as he sweatdrops.
"Really?" Trey asked as he looked around. "Well, we should pick him up along with Crystal soon. Not only can Crystal have her kid any day now, but we need her to be near Joy."
"We will do that then. So, who should we try then?" Victor says to him.
"How about Shadow?" Trey said, remembering the combo he taught Nima. He smiled at the irony. He was just about to have her do her combo while she was falling just before she went baserk.
"Sure" Victor says before letting Shadow out.
"Use Night Slash, Faint Attack, Shadow Claw, and Fury Swipes all at the same time. I want you to appear behind Furea using Faint Attack also, causing this to not miss. I also want you to use Night Slash and Shadow Claw. Use both on each of your hands. And then execute it with Fury Swipes so it hits multiple time. Go ahead. Furea will be fine." Trey said. RedEyes leaned against a tree. 'He really knows how to make do.' He thought.
Victor nods to Shadow and she executes the combo.
Furea shook off the hit and said, "Good." Trey nodded and said, "And there you have it. The more you use it, the stronger and easier it will be to do so."
Victor lets the rest of his pokemon out as they walk.
"Oh." Mary said aloud. "I forgot to tell you all. I'm pregnant." "Congrats." Trey said.
"Congatulations you two" Victor tells Mary and RedEyes.
All the Pokemon of Victor and Trey surrounded her with hugs and "Congratulations" And things of the sort.
"All thats left is for someone to get pregnat on your team Trey" Victor teases.
Luna shot a look at Trey. Trey re-coiled. "Yeah." Trey said with a sigh. "It won't be that bad." RedEyes said.
"This just means we have to be more careful though" Victor comments.
"Yeah." Trey said. Now all of his Pokemon were looking at him slyly. Trey was sure Nima a heard everything and was making a plan to be the one to have his child right now.
"You are screwed" Victor tells him as he looks at Nima.
"Yeah." Trey said as he backed up slightly.
"I hope the nurse in Rustburo isn't still looking for someone to fuck" Victor comments.
Trey groaned. "Arceus I hope not. She was a pain." Trey complained.
"Yeah she was" Victor says.
"That woman is a pain." RedEyes said. He had taken a rest stop with Mary once and she had tried to come onto him.
"Dear Arceus, how did that turn out?" Victor asked him.
"Long story short, Mary threatened to kill her." RedEyes said with a sigh. "And I would have done it too." Mary called, then went back to talking with the other females.
"Flora would have killed me if I did it" Victor comments.
Trey nodded.
They continue walking.
They eventually make it to town. Trey sighed and said, "Man, now I remember why we decided to stay in town."
"Yeah, me too" Victor says to him.
"Wanna stop? We've been walking all day, but I don't know If I wanna hang out in the Pokemon Canter all night." Trey said.
"Where should we go then?" Victor asks him.
"Np idea." Trey responded. "I'll probably sleep in the trees or on a bench." RedEyes said. "And I'll sleep on you." Mary said.
"I guess we could camp out" Victor suggests.
"Sure." Trey said. "It may be good to help us get back into the swing of things." RedEyes nodded.
Victor nods before going to find a place to set up camp.
Trey followed and RedEyes went off to chop a few trees.
Victor soon finds a place and sets up camp.
Trey did the same. Coincidentally, they were near the same river they were at the last time. RedEyes came back with some logs and started a fire.
Victor smiled as he watched Flora, Shade, Shadow, Joy and, Aurora relax. He then asks RedEyes, "When Volt's and Crystal's baby is born, will it share her pokeball or, will it need to have its own right away?".
"It will need it's own." RedEyes confirmed. "I've seen some trainers try to have their Pokemon share a Ball. Not pretty."
