Cooro and Haru won with blind luck. The blind and stupid things they did were the only things that helped them win. They were brave, stupid, reckless, hyper, idiot, and careless in their battle against Sting and Rogue. After that very important battle Cooro and Haru were walking around town at night on their way back to their hotel room.

"That last restaurant we went to was really good," Haru said petting his stomach.

Haru knocked on Cooro's head. Cooro was flipping his wallet upside down. There wasn't any money left in his wallet. The reason was Haru was making him go to every restaurant to try different food, but Haru was making Cooro pay for it. All that money he saved on his Fairy Tail Jobs and all the money he saved in his sister's job were almost gone. "I was thinking the next stop could be Blue Sky Bolognese and Ruby Parfait's. Oh wait those are in Hargeon Town."

"Hope you don't get fat," Cooro grumbled at how much Haru ate and all he ate in those many restaurants were sandwiches.

"Hey, Cooro. This is a celebration. It's not every day you make it to the semifinals in the Magic Games and beat Sting and Rouge. By the way did you ever notice how you and Sting had the same…?" Cooro shot Haru a dirty look. It was those ' I don't want to talk about it' kind of look.

"Never mind."

"Help me!" A woman yelled in the streets. "Help!"

Cooro and Haru saw a woman in a yellow coat screaming for help. She needed help because her purse was being taken away by five teenagers in red skull masks. Playing the heroes Cooro transformed his arm into a cannon and fired chains at the closest one. His chains wrapped around his leg and pulled him down. Haru transformed into his armor with a spear in his hand and threw it at the man carrying the purse. The spear went through his jacket and pushed him into the wall.

"They know magic!" One of the teenagers yelled.

"Let's get out of here!" Another shouted.

The teenagers left leaving their two friends behind; the one trapped in chains and the one stuck in the wall. Cooro pulled the first one to him. He was mad and not when he was arguing with Kanellos. His face blushed red in anger and adrenaline. He took off the mask so he could get a good look at his face. He had sideburns on his face and a big warty nose. He looked too old to be Cooro's age…had the same body as Cooro and was roughly the same size as him. He tried to get back up and break Cooro's nose, he pointed his cannon with the blade at him.

"If I see so much as a blink I will put this in your face. You've seen mages before?" The man nodded his head, speechless and afraid. "I bet you've never seen one like me. Haru."

"I got it." Haru walked up to the man in the mask struggling like a racoon in a cage. Haru took the purse away from the man and walked away.

"You're not just going to keep me trapped in here, are you?" The man in the mask said.

"Someone is going to find you, and when they do you will be sent to jail because they will be my friends." The man didn't like hearing that. He shouted all the bad words he could think of, but words meant nothing to him. Only actions proved what kind of man he was. Haru gave the purse back to the lady. "Here you go. Next time don't travel alone at night."

"Thank you kind sir. Thank you."

Haru was happy someone was being thankful to him for once. He had no idea it was a trap. She brought him in for a hug. That hug was long as Haru made different faces from the hug; first he was happy then he was shock with wide eyes. He was disoriented and frightened. That woman's appearance changed. A circle of purple energy covered her like a dressing room. She came out a completely different person. Her hair was long pink, she wore a slim green dress leaving the skin on her arm exposed. Her body was laced with nets around her arms and her legs. The only thing she wore for pants was a green loincloth where two black belts were wrapped around the left side of her hip to her neck and her waist. Her eyes were big and entirely green. A small purple diamond was in her head. Both her arms were replaced with two sharp knives. She smiled with one of her knives in Haru's chest.

"No!" Cooro yelled. Cooro transformed his arm into a cannon and sucker punched the man with the bushy face. He was stone cold out of his consciousness from that punch. Cooro's cannon transformed again, this time creating a metal mouth at the tip he pointed at the lady. "Banshee Cannon!"

Cooro fired a high vibrant sound that fired into her. Unlike his first cannon it didn't hurt the person it touched, but it would give them a massive case of headache. The cannon made it hard for her to think. She had to let go of Haru to escape Cooro's attack.

"Yaccchhh!" She screeched throwing a knife at Cooro. The knife zoomed towards Cooro, he intercepted it and blacked it with his cannon arm. The knife fell, but it landed in a purple warp hole. The knife travelled through the hole fast and landed in Cooro's shoulder. "Take that, Fairy Tail fool."

The knife hurt. Right now pain was travelling through his nervous system and reaching his brain. The knife had to stay or Cooro would bleed. He transformed his hand into a cannon and fired his cannonball towards the pink haired assassin.

"Yaccchhh!" She screeched. It was the sound she made when she opened a worm hole. A worm hole appeared in front of her. Cooro's cannonball travelled into the warp hole and appeared hitting him in the back. The force of Cooro's cannonball could cause a concussion to any normal man." Call me Jynx. Jynx Wink Telecho. I can displace people and objects in my own teleportation warp. We of the Kinship Guild have come to kill your friend and capture you, Cooro Dash."

'That's why she didn't kill me," Cooro thought remembering the pain from the knife. 'But why me? Why is everyone after me?'

"Yaccchhh!" Her screech created another warp hole. She wasn't reflecting something but bringing someone in. He stepped out of the warp hole with a sword shaped like a lightning bolt. Paint was over his eyes in a V shape.

Crawling out of the warp hole, the man growls lowly; his eyes growing brightly in the darkness of the city. As he stands in front of the woman, he holds the hilt of the sword in one hand, and the blade resting in the other; the man stares at Cooro.

Looking back over to the form of Haru, who lies on the ground; blood still seeping out of his chest wound, Cooro takes in a deep breath. "Now, Cooro Dash," the woman smiles, putting out her hand for Cooro to grab on to. "Come with us."

"Cooro isn't going anywhere with anyone!"

With a flash of silver flying in front of Cooro's face, metal daggers pierce through the green loincloth the woman wore, attaching her to the ground. With two figures dropping in front of Cooro, the teenage boy blinks in surprise when April turns around to face him; her face serious and her form rigid.

"Get out of here," she whispers, pushing him back. "We can handle this, go get Haru and get out of here."

"And leave you behind?" Cooro mutters, holding his shoulder in pain. "I can't, she took down Haru by herself, April, Haru! There's no way I'm letting you do this alone, my emotions for you involved or not."

"Idiot," April scoffs. "Just because you say you like me doesn't mean you can drop everything and protect me all the time." She rolls her eyes. "I'm a big girl, I can take care of myself!" April screams the last part as Cooro tackles her to the ground, before his eyes widen and his mouth opens slightly; letting out a silent scream.

"Cooro?" April whispers, searching his face for any sign of acknowledgement. "Cooro." April says more forcefully.

"Damn it!" Lola cries, turning around and looking at Cooro and April, before her own eyes widen and she runs over to them, tripping along the way. Careful of the arrow escaping his back, Lola looks up and around them. "Damn it," she whispers. "I thought we lost him."

"Apparently not," the woman laughs, pulling herself up from the ground. Noticing Cooro, she sighs slightly. "Idiot, you were supposed to hit the girl!"

"I was going to," a male voice echoes throughout the area, chilling Lola and April to their very cores. "He got in the way; pushed her to the ground, he did."

Scoffing, the woman makes her way over to Lola and April; now trying to get the arrow out of Cooro's back.

"Damn you, Cooro." April whispers as she holds down his body and Lola quickly, but carefully, rips the arrow out of his body. "This wouldn't have happened if you'd just let me handle myself."

Screaming in pain as Lola finally pulls the arrow out of his back, the sound of ripping flesh and the smell of fresh blood fill the air Lola looks away, gagging as she sees the wound. Slumping forward, his eyes closing slightly, Cooro lands his forehead on April's shoulder; who catches him slightly.

"We have to get them out of here, Lola." April says sadly. "They could get hurt."

"And we can't?" Lola questions, her eyes blazing with fury. "Stop thinking you're so powerful and invincible, April. You're not. And neither is he." Lola nods her head at Cooro, who looks up at her weakly; weakly, but annoyed.

April, sighing softly, looks up at the hooded man who drops down beside the woman. Getting a good look at the three people standing before them, the woman, the man the woman made appear, and the hooded man, April looks down at Cooro.

"You don't think I know that?" April laughs, getting to her feet; her bangs shadowing her eyes. "You don't think I know that one wrong move could have me dead? Or taken hostage? Or destroyed? You don't think I know that? You're wrong, Lola. I know that better than anyone."

"April," Lola sighs. "I'm sorry, I -"

"But that doesn't mean I'm going to stop trying!" April shouts, her back towards Cooro and Lola.

"April," Cooro mutters. "Don't…"

"I'm a part of Fairy Tail!" April cries.

"Get her," the woman whispers to the man that she made appear. "And don't stop until she's dead."

Nodding his head in affirmation, the man with the sword slowly walks towards April; his speed slowly increasing.

"Komatsu!" April shouts, her hand glowing a bright yellow as a sword appears in her hand.

The man, yelling loudly, charges towards April; his sword aimed for her stomach. Prepared for anything he might do, April focuses on her defensive strategy as he approaches her; abnormally fast. With the sword close to her stomach, April blinks, gasping in surprise when the man is knocked out of the way; a flash of white appearing in her vision.

"Haru?!" April cries.

Haru, standing above the man, breathing heavily, blood pouring out of his wound, turns slowly to look at April before looking back down at the man once more. "You were going… to kill her… weren't you?" Haru growls at the man, his eyes filled with rage and fury. "Weren't you?!" he booms, stomping on his stomach.

The man, swinging his sword at Haru, growls in annoyance as the white haired teen dodges out of the way every time the man swings his sword. "Nobody hurts my friends." Haru says weakly. "No one."

Lola, running up to the two, catches Haru as he falls backwards. "Idiot," she rolls her eyes, before dragging him beside Cooro; or the place where Cooro once laid. "Damn it, what is with you two?!" she yells, watching as Haru struggles to get up.

"April," Cooro mutters, standing beside the girl, his form stumbling every few seconds. "Get away of here."

"What did I just tell you?!" April exclaims.

"I said get away!" Cooro shouts at her, leaving no room for disagreement.

The woman, watching their interaction in curiosity begins to laugh; holding her stomach as she does so. "Oh, that's cute," she laughs, rubbing away a fake tear as she makes a worm hold appear in front of Cooro. Sucking him in, Cooro appears before the woman as she grips his neck and lifts him up.

"Cooro!" April shouts, wanting to run to him, but is held back by Lola; a worried look on her face.

"Wanting to protect that girl," she laughs. "That's adorable. But, I'm afraid that you won't be doing any of that anymore. You see, our master told us to bring you to him, dead or alive. Mind you, he preferred alive, but dead works to." Opening his mouth to talk, the woman squeezes tighter, making the only thing that comes out of Cooro's mouth are strained noises; a gurgling of some kind. "I'm not done," the woman sneers. "You see, since you're struggling, we'll just kill you now."

"No!" April shouts, but quiets down when another man appears; a man with tattoos of stripes appearing on his face, up his arms, and from what she could tell, across his chest.

The man, walking towards the woman, begins to laugh at the scene. "Having trouble, Jynx?" He chuckles.

"More than it's worth," she sighs, throwing Cooro to the man, who catches him easily. "Take care of him for me, would you?"

"And, what are you going to do?" he asks, gripping Cooro's arms tightly as he stands the boy up.

"Kill all the witnesses of course," she giggles, one of her arms changing into the long blades once again.

Walking towards the two girl, she drops down into a crouch in front of Lola, who, by acting on instinct, tries to get as far away as possible. Grabbing her by the hair, the woman brings her face closer to Lola's. "Afraid?" she taunts.

"Piss off," Lola growls, only to be thrown backwards by the woman.

"Wrong answer," she says darkly, stalking towards Lola. Standing above the girl, the woman pulls her arm back and shoots to kill; aiming for Lola's heart. With a form darting in front of Lola just in time, the woman begins to laugh loudly; surprise making its way onto her face.

With the blade of the sword going right through April's stomach, she screams in pain as the woman jerks her forward, moving the sword upwards to her chest, the sound of flesh ripping echoing through Cooro and Lola's ears. As everything quiets down, Cooro's breath halts as he hears the slow patter of blood drop to the ground; April's blood. Watching April hunch over the blade, her face blank, Cooro's eyes widen in fear. Taking in a deep breath, his lips quavering, tears spill over the brim of his eyes.

"April!" he shouts, breaking free from the man and catching her before she hits the ground; the woman having ripped the sword from April's body. Gently placing her on the ground, Cooro pats her face. "Come on, you can't leave me yet."

"Cooro," Lola begins, stopping when she notices his heartbroken gaze.

"April, come on." He begs. "April, please. Please. Please," Cooro cries. "Please, open your eyes, damn it!" Cooro shouts at the girl.

Hearing groaning escape from April's mouth, she opens her eyes, looking around. "What time is it?" she mutters, looking up at Cooro. "Did I miss something?"

"What?" the woman blinks. "You should be dead!"

"Should I?" April tilts her head to look up at her. "Sorry to be a disappointment, dying isn't really my style."

"I'll kill you!" The woman shouts. "And you'll stay dead this time!" She screeches, lunging for April again when a hand encloses around her wrist, tightening immensely.

"What to repeat that?" Natsu questions, his voice laced with rage and hatred. "I dare you."

"Shit," the man that once held Cooro mutters. "Reinforcements. Jynx, we better go."

"No," she growls, struggling to get out of Natsu's hold.

"Jynx," the man says, grabbing onto her shoulders, his eyes never leaving Natsu. "Let's go."

"Damn it," she curses, ripping her hand away from Natsu and backing away as he stalks towards them, Gajeel, Gray, Lucy, Erza, and Wendy standing behind him. "Let's go!" she shouts, turning towards the man with the 'v' on his face, who nods willingly.

"Take-Over!" he shouts. "Wyvern!" with a brilliant flash of light, a silver wyvern appears in front of everyone, letting the Jynx and the others climb on.

Before Natsu can even think of going after them, the wyvern takes off; leaving everyone in a cloud of dust.

Wendy, turning towards the other, gasps in surprise when she notices Cooro's, Haru's, and April's injuries. April, having the worst injury of them all, looks towards Wendy; smiling sheepishly. "Help?" she laughs slightly.

Nodding, Wendy runs over to the girl; healing her. Cooro, backing away from everyone, rubs his forehead. "It's my fault," he mutters, catching everyone's attention. "It's my fault." He repeats.

"What was?" Lucy asks softly, walking up to him. "Cooro, what's wrong?"

"Those people, they were after me," Cooro says, rubbing at his eyes. "And everyone got hurt because of it, I – It's my fault!"

Gasping in surprise when a loud slapping noise is heard, Cooro holds his left cheek softly, his eyes wide. "Lucy!" Erza scolds.

"Shut up," Lucy says looking down at Cooro slightly. "Cooro, you should know better. Do you realize how many times my friends had to come and save me because I was involved in some evil plot? Do you understand how many times I thought my friends hated me because of that? Do you know how bad I felt that people got hurt because of me, or they went through so much trouble to save me? Cooro, that's what Fairy Tail does!" Lucy laughs. "We save people. Whether it be the town, or each other, that's what we do; and we do it without thinking. The consequences don't matter to us because we already know our choice. Cooro, no one cares if it was your fault! They attacked members of Fairy Tail. As soon as they made the decision to do that, they started a war with the one guild you don't want to anger. So, we'll get them back, Cooro, they'll pay for what they've done; ten-fold."

"Cooro," Wendy says softly, stepping up from behind Lucy. "It's your turn."

"Is everyone else okay?" Cooro asks Wendy.

"They're all fine," Wendy smiles, putting her hands on Cooro's shoulder. With them glowing a bright blue, Wendy begins to heal Cooro's wound. After a few minutes, Wendy speaks up again. "There you go," she smiles. "All done."

"Thank you," Cooro smiles slightly.

"Alright, now that everyone's healed, we need to figure out what to do now." Erza speaks up.

"What do you mean?" Natsu questions.

"I mean," Erza stresses. "That we split up and figure out what their purpose for attacking Fairy Tail is; figure out who they are, what they were doing here, and why they thought they could attack Fiore's strongest guild."

Noticing Natsu's confused look, Lucy sighs. "I'll explain it to him on the way," she rolls her eyes as she and Natsu walk off.

"Tiny Tot and I will go this way," Gajeel grumbles as he picks Wendy up and walks off into the night, leaving Gray, Erza, Cooro, Haru, Lola, and April behind.

"Gray and I can go off in another direction. Unless you would like one of us with you." Erza offers.

"No," Haru shakes his head. "That's okay."

"Alright then," Gray nods, sticking his hands in his pockets, his shirt somehow thrown up onto a lamp post. "Be careful."

"We will," April smiles, giving them a thumbs up.

XXXX

Walking through the town at night is one thing, however walking through the town at night with n source of light other than Haru giving off magic power is another.

As the four teens walk down a darkened part of Crocus, Cooro sighs; unhappy he can see a foot in front of his face.

Suddenly bumping into a wall, Cooro drops to the ground, holding his face in slightly pain. April, laughing at him, helps him up.

"Be more careful, Cooro." She scolds.

"Sorry," Cooro mutters, looking down to the ground; trying to see his feet as he walks.

"Cooro," April sighs. "Stop feeling sorry."

"Okay," he nods.

Suddenly hearing Lola scream, the three rush over to the girl, who kneels beside two figures; burns, cruises, cuts, and gashes all along their bodies.

"Oh my God," Lola whispers, recognizing the guild mark and clothes on the two people. "Oh my god," she repeats, touching the one closest to her on the arm.

"No," April whispers, sinking to her knees. "Oh no."

'Cooro?' Kanellos questions.

'About time you showed up,' Cooro rolls his eyes.

'Cooro…' Kanellos says again. 'Cooro, who are the people lying on the ground?'

'I – I don't know…' Cooro mutters, getting to his knees and crawling over to them. "Kokat?" Cooro's eyes widen. "Oh my god, Kokat?! Is she okay?! Who would do this?!"

"I'm guessing the same people who attacked us." Haru growls, punching the wall next to him, sending "Why them?!" he shouts, punching the wall again.

"We can't," April starts, gulping slightly. "We can't wait here any longer. We have to help them, where's Wendy?"

"Gone with Gajeel." Lola whispers not taking her eyes of Kokat, and the girl lying beside her.

'Damn it, Cooro!' Kanellos shouts. 'Who's there?!'

'Kokat…' Cooro whispers. 'And by default, I can only assume the other one is Burū…'

Suddenly feeling a sharp pain in his heart, Cooro screams, sinking to his knees; clutching his hand to his heart.

"Cooro!" April cries in worry. "What's going on?!"

Falling backwards, Cooro begins to shake violently; his skin going pale and his body glowing green.

"Cooro!" Haru yells.

Continuing his screaming, Cooro's back arches, before beginning to writhe in pain. Suddenly coming to a stop, April cries, rushing over to him. "Cooro?" she asks softly, touching his arm before pulling away in shock, the coldness of his skin freezing his own. "C-Cooro?"

Without any warning, what looks to be a spirit exits Cooro's body before materializing in front of the teens. "Who -?" Lola trails off.

"You're Kanellos, aren't you?" Haru blinks in surprise, backing away from the power emanating from the dog-man in front of him. "What did you do to Cooro?"

Not answering Haru, Kanellos bends down in front of the two girls, his hands shaking as he rests his hands on Burū's cheek. "Oh my love," he whispers, petting her face softly. "Who did this to you?" Turning to look at the three standing teens, and an unresponsive Cooro, Kanellos looks at Lola. "You, come with me."

"W-what?" Lola stutters. "Where are we going?"

"Fairy Tail has a healer, don't they? You're going to tell me where they are. I believe Kokat would like to see a familiar face when she awakes. Now, come with me." Kanellos says seriously as he, Lola, and the two girls begin to glow before disappearing in a flash of green light.

Cooro, beginning to cough, shoots up, his hand going straight to his heart. "What the hell," he mutters, rubbing his chest. "He could warn me next time."

"What the hell was that?!" April shouts, looking down at him. "There's a person living inside of you?! Cooro!"

"A person?" the familiar voice of Jynx questions as she drops down in front of Cooro. Lifting a hand to his cheek, she caresses his softly. "You hold many secrets, don't you, Cooro Dash?"

"Hey!" April shouts, ready to lunge at the woman, but is thrown back, two men grabbing onto her arms, and three men grabbing onto Haru. "What are you doing?! Let us go!"

"Come, Cooro," Jynx smiles. "You wouldn't want us to hurt your friends, would you?"

"April, Haru!" Cooro cries, in worry, trying to get past the woman, but she just spins him around, away from Haru and April once more. "Damn it, let them go."

"Then come with us, Cooro." She smiles.

Bowing his head, Cooro sighs. "Cooro, don't!" April shouts. "Please, don't."

Looking up at her, with eyes filled with apology, Cooro turns to the woman. "Fine," he says.

"Cooro!" Haru shouts, his eyes widening in surprise as they all disappear. "Damn it, Cooro!" Haru shouts, holding his head in his hands. "What the hell is wrong with him?!"

"We heard screaming!" Lucy shouts as she and Natsu run into the alleyway. "What's wrong? What happened?"

"I'm going after him," April shakes her head, walking out of the alleyway, only to be held back by Haru. "Let me go, damn it!" April cries, struggling in Haru's hold.

"April! Think about this! We have no idea where he is!" Haru shouts.

"I'll find him, damn it! I've got to!" April cries, sinking to her knees. "Damn," she mutters, punching the ground.

"What's going on?!" Lucy exclaims, causing Haru to turn and look at her.

"Cooro was taken."
