Chapter 35: Majin Buu
"That energy, it's monstrous..." Hiru mumbled as he soared through the air. He had gone with the non-fighters who were still part of the gang, halfway to Kame's look out. He then decided to get back to the fighting scene. 'I may not be the strongest, I'll be there to help.' He soared off faster through the sky.
It was then that two certain boys caught his attention.
"Hey wait up!" Trunks called.
Hiru stopped and looked back to see both the boys and an annoyed Piccolo flying towards him.
"Oh there you are, Piccolo. Where did you go?" he asked.
The Namekian growled and pushed the two boys forwards. "Ask these two."
Goten chuckled and rubbed the back of his head. "Well you see... Trunks broke Piccolo!"
Hiru rose an eyebrow. "Trunks broke Piccolo." He repeated.
"Yeah, when he was a statue."
Hiru blinked before nodding. "I see."
Trunks glared at the Goku look-a-likes, "well it was Goten's fault!"
"Was not!"
"Was too!"
"WAS NOT!"
"WAS-!"
The two boys stopped arguing when their heads got banged together by Piccolo. "Quiet!" He demanded. They both clutched onto their heads trying to hold back the tears of pain they had. Piccolo grunted and tossed a small brown sack to Hiru. The boy from the future caught it with ease. "Here, I stopped by Korin's tower. You're in charge of the sensu beans. There was only about four left so only give them out to those that really need them."
The teen from the future nodded and tied it around his sash. "Got it." He narrowed his eyes once he felt Gohan and Vegeta's energy skyrocket. "Those two are still going at it?!"
Piccolo scowled. "Focus on the other energy. I'm certain that's Majin Buu, we need to be there with the others, let's move!"
Piccolo rushed off towards the new energy he sensed, followed by the other Saiyans.
Trunks and Goten smirked at each other.
"Awesome! This time, we can save everyone!" Goten said.
The son of Vegeta nodded, "yeah! Let's go faster! Last one there is a monkey brain."
The two boys rushed off with big smiles on their faces.

(Saiyans)
Everyone's eyes were wide. The energy emoting from this new formed creature was monstrous despite his appearance.
"He's pink..." Kinoko mumbled.
"Is this the guy your so afraid of, Supreme Kai?" Goku asked.
The Kai narrowed his eyes, "Yes. That's Bibidi's creation without a doubt. I could never forget that disgusting creatures face."
They looked back to Majin Buu to see an overweight pink blob like character. He wore a purple cape, yellow gloves and boots, a black vest and white bottoms. He appeared to be stretching.
Kinoko blinked. "I can't believe something that big can touch its toes."
"The way you described him I thought he'd be much larger." Mirai commented.
The Supreme Kai took a step back, "I can't bear to look at him! We must retreat."
Goku narrowed his eyes. "Well, he may be tough, but you said those years of captivity made him weaker. I don't think he's unbeatable."
"What?!" The Kai yelled shocked. "Don't you sense his power? His strength?!"
Goku smirked, "oh I feel it. But I'm also aware of what I can do."
Majin Buu walked towards them slowly with his arms out. He took a few steps close to them and looked at them before flipping back and landing on his behind. He did the same thing once more, but to Babidi, who was definitely shocked.
"That's right Buu, come to your master."
Majin Buu placed his fists on his hips before turning away and exploring the area.
"Hey! Where are you going!?" Babidi yelled.
Buu ignored him and continued walking and humming.

(Gohan)
Vegeta growled angrily as he rushed at the half-breed again. Up to this point in their battle, they were all bruised up, yet they wouldn't slow down. But it was then that Gohan sensed a new energy.
"Hey wait a second!" He stopped Vegeta's incoming blow with his arm and narrowed his eyes. "I just felt a tremendous serge of energy, where Kin and my dad are." He looked over at the heavily panting Vegeta angrily, "while we have been fighting that Buu creature must have been hatched."
Vegeta ignored Gohan and once again restarted an attack on the distracted teenager. Gohan broke away and his eyes widened slightly when he felt the same energy again.
"Wait! I know that's Majin Buu. I don't know how the others will fair against him."
Vegeta panted as he looked in the direction Gohan did. He began to chuckle lightly before he laughed out loud. Gohan slowly glanced to the Prince of Saiyans.
"Is the fate of the earth funny to you?" He growled.
He smirked, "it's as I thought. There's nothing to worry about, Gohan. This Majin Buu has been revealed as a weakling. At least by the measuring bar you and I have seen."
Gohan grunted as he stayed silent.
"Is it too hard to understand? The Saiyan race has evolved since that creature first was entrapped. Think about it for a moment. We defeated those so called 'most powerful beings in the universe.' The supreme Kai knows nothing about the true trials of a Saiyan."
Gohan looked back to him, "no. I know you sense the same thing. Your just too stubborn to admit it."
Vegeta growled. "Stubborn? It's not stubbornness boy! If you ask your father, or your mate, they'll probably say the same thing."

(Saiyans)
Buu smiled and laughed softly to himself as he did small flips in the air and balanced on one foot.
"Buu!" He cheered and clapped his hands together.
They all looked to the side when a few of Babidi's henchmen came running out of the ship behind him.
"He's a pudgy, pink, infant like creature. If it wasn't for his energy I'd begin to question if he is a threat to the earth." Mirai mumbled.
Buu tapped his foot on the ground as Babidi approached him. Said wizard laughed.
"Look at my face Buu, I'm the son of Bibidi, your creator, see. You can call me the Great Wizard Babidi, or just Wizard, or master since that's what I am to you now."
Majin Buu's chinky eyes opened and he glanced down at Babidi.
Kinoko scratched the back of her head. "Well gosh, maybe Buu will kill him for us." She looked to the Supreme Kai curiously. "Is that thing loyal?"
The Kai was too shocked to respond. She looked back to when Buu had crossed his arms and turned his back the wizard.
"Buu you can't turn your back on your master like that! At least give me a proper greeting! Turn around." Babidi ordered. When Buu didn't move Babidi balled his hands into fists. "I command you!" At these words, Buu began to growl.
Goku placed a hand on Kinoko's shoulder. "Does that answer your question?"
They both jumped back when Buu turned around sticking his tongue out mockingly to Babidi. He then began to laugh loudly when Babidi fell back in fear.
"Is he just playing with them?" Mirai asked.
The Supreme Kai growled angrily.
"He's like an infant." Kinoko muttered. "I guess Babidi made a mess with reviving him."
"There has been no mistake. The Kai stated. "Buu has always been this way."
One of Babidi's men walked towards him.
"Master, has there been some mistake? This Majin Buu creature us acting like an idiot."
Buu looked over to the henchman. And there was no smile on his face. "BUU!" He screamed and raised his fists in the air. He hopped on one foot three times and chanted "Pow pow pow!." Once he switched he chanted, "ow ow ow!"
Quickly without wasting anytime, Buu punched the henchman sending him flying back crashing into all the other ones. Steam came out of the holes he hand in his head and arms before his eyes opened and he grinned. He waddled over and picked them up one by one before tossing them in the air. Probably all the way up to space.
"They may not have been powerful, but Buu's energy. It's indescribable." Goku stated.
"It's like he reached into a well of energy that never ends." Kinoko continued.
"But it felt, empty..." Mirai finished.

(Gohan)
Not continuing the battle Gohan growled at the feeling. "You have had to felt that one. I don't think we should take this guy for granted, not anymore."
Vegeta grunted a bit in shock, though he'd never admit he was shocked. Gohan glared over at him.
"This fight is over. Your son, my dad, my wife. They need us! It's because of us that Buu has been hatched."
Vegeta growled when Gohan turned his back to him.
"How dare you!"
He rushed forward for another attack when Gohan caught his arm. "We don't have any time for this! It's our fault that Buu is out of his shell."
Vegeta grunted as his face twitched a little. "Buu is only a side show."
Gohan growled and grasped onto Vegeta's fists tighter. "You're the side show! Everyone on earth will be killed, you hear me?! Killed! Bulma, Trunks everyone!"
Hellfire could be seen in Vegeta's eyes. He connected his knee with Gohan's gut. "SHUT UP!" He then brought his elbow back and connected it with Gohan's face. "SHUT...UP!" He began to throw random blows which Gohan dodged. "Remember I've sold my soul to Babidi! I keep no loyalties! I am a Saiyan that depends on strength alone! THEY'RE NOTHING TO ME!"
Vegeta attempted to throw one more hook at Gohan but the halfbreed easily caught the hit. "...LIAR!" He sent a strong blow to Vegeta's face which knocked the Saiyan Prince to the ground.
"Talk all you want, but you'd better convince yourself first."

(Saiyans)
"Your revival was a complete success!" Babidi began. "Now we mustn't waste a second you must obey my every command. With you as my tool this entire universe will be canceled out!"
Buu looked to Babidi and began to stick his tongue out at him humorously. He began to make funny faces making Babidi grit his teeth in anger and growl.
"It isn't wise to disobey me Buu. I can deal you back in that ball with one phrase if you'd like."
It was then that Buu gasped before bowing happily to Babidi. "You master. You master." Babidi repeated.
Kinoko smirked. "Well gosh, I'd hire him as a baby sitter."
The Kai glared over at her. She grunted and crossed her arms. "Well if you were smart, or a mother, you'd see it's all an act."
Goku blinked. "What?"
She rolled her eyes. "Buu is only obeying him because he's afraid of being put back in the ball. Just like how the twins fall asleep whenever Gohan and I say, bath time."
Mirai nodded in understanding. "So if we get rid of Babidi, there won't be anyone commanding Buu, and maybe we could control him."
"No, Babidi is the only living being who knows how to put Buu back. Without him, we'd be doomed. The creature might appear innocent but he has a deep seeded need for destruction. Eventually Babidi will lose control of him too. When he does he will be forced to seal him up again and that will be the time to strike. I'm afraid we have no choice but to wait for that moment. Unfortunately it looks at the four of us will not be the ones to make that move this will be the first one in Majin Buu's path." Everyone looked over at him as he continued. "I'm sorry this isn't the way it was supposed to be. I was confident I could stop Babidi before Buu was revived. If only I knew that you Saiyans had the physical strength that far exceeded my own. Then the method might have worked."
"What method." Goku asked.
"I'm afraid it's too late for that." The Kai said.
Kinoko and Mirai narrowed their eyes.
"So what? You're just going to stamp dead on your forehead and give up?!" She yelled.
It was then that Babidi called for them. "Your attention please." They all looked over. "For my first command, kill those four idiots."
Mirai growled. "I'm not going down without a fight!"
Goku smirked and placed in arm out in front of him. "No wait." He transformed into a Super Saiyan and got in a defensive crouch. "I've been gone for seven years. It's time to see how much my training has paid off."
"Hm, Goku are you sure?" Kinoko asked.
"Don't worry guys, if I need your help I'll call for it. But as for now I suggest you back away. I've got a new few tricks up my sleeve."
Mirai rose an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?"
The Super Saiyan in the orange gi smiled. "Pay attention, you'll find out."
The Supreme Kai gaped. "Goku, you have no idea what he's capable of."
Goku only smirked and crouched down. "I'll be fine."

(Gohan)
Spitting out a bit of blood, Vegeta stood up and glared at Gohan. The half-breed got in a defensive crouch and was prepared if the battle was to continue. But it was then, that Vegeta's smirk was replaced with a small smile.
"Fine, you win. This battle is to be postponed until Buu is gone."
Gohan smiled back. "I'm glad to see you still have sense in you." He turned around and looked in the direction he felt the others. "My dad is powering up, but I don't think he could do it alone. If all of us work together I know Buu is a goner, then I'll send Babidi to hell for causing all these stupid problems."
As Gohan continued, Vegeta scowled as he approached him. He grasped his hands together and raised them up to knock out Gohan. Once the half-breed sensed this, he turned around and caught the Prince's fists.
His eyes narrowed. "I learned on Namek to never let my guard down around you."
He elbowed Vegeta in the face angrily for the attempt. Vegeta growled and connected his knee into Gohan's stomach repeatedly. Gohan grabbed Vegeta's arm and attempted to launch him towards a mountain, once he let go, Vegeta used his strength to stop himself from flying and got a hook on Gohan's face. Gohan grunted in pain and grasped into the spot he had been punched. It was then that Vegeta quickly fazed behind him and knocked him in his pressure point on the side of the neck. The half breed gasped as his hair went back to its natural color as he fell forwards.
"Once I beat Buu, I'll be back for you. Enjoy your sleep, Gohan."

Okay? I know it ended the pretty much same way the Goku / Vegeta fight did in canon but I have good reasons for that which you will all know later.
