CHAPTER 38

BELLA P.O.V 24 WEEKS PREGNANT

I was laying in bed when the house phone began ringing. I pushed myself off the bed as best I could to get to the phone.

"Hello?"

"Bella?" It was Carlisle.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked. All the kids were at school and Seth and Sav were out doing who knows what.

"It's Seth and Savannah." He said and I began to panic.

"What? What happened?" I asked. I grabbed my keys and headed out to the car.

"They got into a horrible car crash. I'll explain when you get here. Come to the hospital." He said before hanging up. Oh my god! What am I going to do? She better make it, please please!

"Hello?" Jacob said into the phone when I picked up. I was balling by the time he answered. "Bella, what the hell is going on?" He asked.

"It's Seth and Sav! Meet me at the hospital!" I shouted before hanging up. I probably shouldn't have done that but I can't see and I should focus on driving. The ride to the hospital seemed to take forever before I pulled into the spot that was made for emergencies only and rushed in and Seth and Carlisle were there to greet me. "Where is she? Is she okay?"

"She's in critical condition. She had a few broken ribs, a concussion and a broken leg. She has a punctured lung that she just went in for surgery for." Carlisle said. "We are keeping her here over night to make sure she's okay." I nodded my head calming down.

"What happened?" I asked. "Were there other people involved?" Seth nodded his head.

"They were drunk. They were driving on the wrong side of the road so I swerved out of the way and the car wrapped around the tree." He whispered. I hugged him. Thank god they were both still alive. I wouldn't be able to live without Savannah. Jake wouldn't be able to live without either of them and they couldn't live without each other. "Bella I'm so sorry!" He cried.

"It's okay, she's going to be okay. Seth, it is not your fault."

"I wanted to kill that other guy! He walked away with no injuries." He shouted falling to his knees and I fell with him.

"They never do." Jake came running through the door and nearly died when he saw me and Seth sitting on the floor crying.

"She didn't make it?" He asked whispered getting down to my level.

"She's fine. She has a punctured lung, she's in surgery for right now. She has some broken ribs, a concussion and a broken leg."

"What the hell happened?! I will kill you if I find out this was all your fault!"

"The other car had a drunk driving in it, Jake. He walked away with no injuries."

"I'm gonna kill that bastard." Just then, Savannah's ex-boyfriend, Josh, came walking through the door and stumbling I may add. Oh jesus. This is going to go so well. "What the hell do you want."

"I just want to make sure that the couple who crashed into the tree are okay." I have never seen Jake and Seth look at each other like they wanted to kill someone like that, ever, in my entire life.

"You're the one who nearly killed my daughter?!" Jake shouted. He began shaking and Seth dragged him out of the hospital and I swear to god I was going to kill him myself.

"If you ever get even a mile near my daughter, I will rip your balls off and feed it to the wolves that I know." I said getting in his face.

"Sure you will Mrs. Black." I stepped forward and grabbed his tiny penis.

"Try me." I snarled at him. Carlisle left to go and check on Savannah before coming out and pulling me to the side.

"I think there might be another wolf in your family." He said. He always treated our kids for anything and wouldn't allow other's to because of that reason. "I haven't fixed her ribs yet." He said holding up the x-rays to me. I looked at them and her ribs were completely repaired.

"The accident must have triggered her wolf side." I said and he agreed.

"My only issue is I don't know if her concussion will stay. I've never treated the wolves when they had concussions so I have no idea what will happen. She also didn't phase and this also means that she may never phase but she could somehow be immortal." I was confused.

"How is that?"

"She is only part wolf meaning that she can be healed but she can never fully be a werewolf." He said and I nodded my head.

"Will the other kids be like that?"

"I'm sure I can do some testing and see but they might be too young."

"How is that even possible?" I asked and he shook his head.

"I have no idea. I have the other's doing research on it right now." I nodded my head.

"Can I see her?"

"Of course." He lead me into a private room where she was sitting up in bed watching T.V. She clearly had a black eye but it was turning almost yellowish right in front of my eyes.

"What happened to me?" She asked.

"You were in a car accident." I answered her. I wasn't even sure how she was doing this right now.

"What? I feel fine." I agreed with her. She looked fine.

"You're part wolf." Carlisle said and her eyes went wide.

"What?!" She asked beginning to freak out. "How is that possible?! I can't be!" I was surprised that she was so against this. "How am I part wolf?" She asked.

"I have no idea. I've never seen this before." Carlisle said sitting in a chair next to her bed. "All of your injuries were healed. We got to your lungs before they healed on their own but everything else is perfectly fine."

"How?" She asked.

"Your blood is wolf blood, it healed you but you never phased." Jake and Seth came into the room.

"Who did that to me?"

"Josh." Jake snarled and I could see the heat radiating off his body. He was out for blood and this involved his daughter. He wasn't going to let anyone hurt any of his kids. "I swear to god I'm going to kill that kid." He said.

"Dad, I'm fine." Savannah said looking at him and the bruise was almost gone now. "I'm healed." She said. "My blood healed me." I was so confused with this. I had no idea what the hell was going on. I loved the fact that nothing could hurt my daughter but it was scary because I knew she was going to be reckless now.

"What?" He asked. I guess I wasn't the only one who was confused by this.

"When can I go home?"

"Now I guess just please take it easy for a few days." Carlisle said to her as we snuck out the back door and I got her into the car.

"I'm so ready for bed." She said laying down in the back of the car on Seth's lap. I sighed. Thank god she was okay.

*SAVANNAH P.O.V*

"What other things do you think I could do?" I asked Seth as we laid in bed. We came to the fact that I was immortal and me and him could live together forever. We could have babies and I loved that fact.

"I'm not sure. I really don't want to test it either."

"Seth, I almost died in that accident but my blood healed me." I said and he nodded his head turning from his back to his side to face me.

"I know it did but I'm not risking it." He said and I sighed sitting up and he watched me. "It killed me to see you like that even if you were healed."

"Think I could kill, Josh?" I asked.

"I'm sure but leave that to me." He said and I laughed.

"Heading to go and get the twins! Then gonna go see Esme!" My mom shouted. My dad was out with Edward doing research to figure out how I could only be part werewolf.

"Alright!" I shouted back. I heard the front door close and Seth look at me. We had gone a lot farther than kissing but we haven't fully had sex yet. I was very ready to though.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked me and I shrugged.

"That maybe it's time we go all the way." I answered and he looked a little taken back.

"Really? Are you sure?"

"I'm so sure." I said moving his hand to my shorts. He slipped a finger inside and I moaned at the contact before his lips reached mine.

"Jesus christ, Sav." He moaned kissing me again. I pulled his shirt off along with my own before pulling my shorts down leaving me naked in front of him because I wasn't wearing a bra or panties. "Help me." He said looking down at his shorts and I unbuttoned them and he never wears boxers so it left us both naked.

"Do you have any condoms?" I asked him and he nodded his head before reaching into his shorts and pulling one out.

"Okay no, in the top draw please." I said pointing to my night stand that contained a box of condoms.

"You're sure?" Seth asked as he slide the condom on.

"Yes! Hurry!" I shouted. He licked his fingers before putting it back on my heat. I couldn't believe we were doing this!

*NEXT MORNING*

I wasn't sure when my parents got home because me and Seth fell asleep but when we woke up the next morning, my father wasn't very happy with us.

"Did you protect yourself?" He asked me as he poured himself a cup of coffee without looking at me.

"Yes. Of course." I answered.

"Your mother is making you a doctor appointment." He said. I turned around and knocked on her bedroom door.

"Come in." She said. When I walked in she was laying on the bed on her side watching T.V. They bed was super high and it was hard to get onto so I literally had to crawl onto the bed. "Was it fun?" She asked and I turned bright red.

"It was very nice." I answered.

"I'm taking you to get on birth control tomorrow." She said and I nodded my head. "We aren't sure if it will work with your blood so please be very careful." She said and I nodded my head.

"Where is everyone else?" I asked.

"Twins stayed with the Cullen's last night and Ryder is at Emily's." She answered. "What are you thinking about?" She asked me and I shrugged.

"I don't know. I think me and Seth moved too fast."

"Honey, you're imprints. You moved fast into everything. It's okay." I nodded my head. "Sarah and Colin had sex before they even started dating." My mom said and I knew that was true.

"I should probably text her." I said and she agreed. I pulled my phone out of my pocket before texting her. She freaked and called so I had to answer.

"How was it?!" She asked.

"Awesome." I said while walking out of the house and into the woods behind the house.

"Who's idea was it?"

"Mine." I answered.

"Do your parents know?"

"Yeah, they do." I sighed. I really didn't want my dad to know but clearly he was going to find out sooner or later.

"My dad almost killed Colin when he found out." I laughed. I remember Sam came over screaming when he found out asking if any of us knew where Colin was.

"He's not happy but..." I said glancing at the house that was a tiny white speck now. I heard something creeping up behind me and I quickly turned around to see what it was but nothing was there. When I turned around Seth was standing there and I screamed before dropping my phone and beginning to cry. He picked up the phone to say bye to Sarah before he calmed me down. "That's so mean!" I said smacking his chest.

"I thought I was being funny."

"Well it didn't work very well."

"Carlisle is here with New's about your wolf status."
