Pov

I sighed and crouched down letting Angel slide off my back, her little fists grasped my shirt protesting.

"Ow, no Angel. I'm trying to put you on my shoulders so you can try and find Max and everyone else."

She must have agreed because she got down easily then and held up her arms expectantly to me. I grabbed her and she flew up (not literally) and landed lightly on my shoulders. She squinted a little bit then squealed loudly tugging on my hair roughly.

"Ow Angel, my ear."

"I found Iggy and Uncle Ari." She said in a sing-song voice, then she pulled again. "And Mommy!" She loudly giggled. "She's chasing them."

I whirled around trying to find them.

"They're coming from over there." She said leaning down into my view.

I scooped her up and placed her on the ground next to me and grabbed her hand. She tugged me along in the direction of the Ferris Wheel and as soon as we had reached the gate Iggy and Ari zoomed past us grabbing Angel as they passed, ripping her hand out of mine. I saw Iggy stop a few yards ahead with her in his arms and watched Max come racing up. Without thinking I opened my arms in front of her and she smashed into me. I wrapped my arms tightly around her waist and lifted her in the air, trying to avoid her kicking feet.

"You aren't helping us with the 'lie low as a couple' Max." I whispered into her ear.

She kept struggling and yanked one of her arms free.

"Well we wouldn't if you just let me go!" She hissed.

"YOU CAN'T ATTACK ME, I'M WITH CHILD!" Iggy screamed from across the boardwalk, holding up Angel. I wonder if he noticed all the creeped out looks he was getting from people surrounding us.

"C'mon Max, we'll get them back but you need to stop."

"Fine." She hit my arms hard once more and I released her, resulting in Max falling on her butt in the middle of the fair. I laughed and headed over to Ari and Iggy. As soon as I held out my arms Angel grinned and reached out too. I settled her back into my arms and glanced back at Max trying to see how pissed she was going to be. She seemed fairly calm, for Max anyway.

"I'm going to take her on the Ferris Wheel. Angel looks about tired out." I said bouncing her a little.

"No I'm not!" Angel protested, suddenly struggling in my arms.

Max nodded to me. "I'll go with you."

Max POV

I settled into the cart on the ferris wheel as it lifted us lightly into the air. Angel was settled between Fang and I, her curls nestled against his side and her legs thrown across mine.

"So. I told them."

Fang's eyes flashed to mine questioningly. So did Angels.

"Told who, what?" She muttered tiredly.

Fang shhhed her quietly and as he smoothed her hair back, her eyes closed. He stared at me again though as if he was asking me the same questions that she had.

I waited a few minutes before I was sure that she had fallen asleep.

"Iggy and Ari. I told them that we weren't going out or anything, so Ari didn't have to worry." I bit my lip. "I'm not sure they believed me."

"'Course they didn't. It's sort of ridiculous"

I stuck my tongue out at him but sat a little taller in the sit, noticing Iggy on the ground watching us. He gave a little wave smirking, which I returned. I then, as deliberately as I could, gave Fang a playful 'buddy' punch on the shoulder.

"Ow." He stared at me bewildered. I motioned to Iggy with my head and he rolled his eyes.

"Max if you hit me one more time I swear I am making out with you right here and now."

I blushed hard and ducked my head as I heard a little girly giggle come from Fang. I shot my head up in shock but realized that it was Angel.

"I thought you were asleep!" So much for my waiting patiently.

She didn't answer but furrowed her little brows. "You and Fang aren't dating anymore?"
"You knew that Angel. You were there when I told Nudge."

"You told Nudge?" I asked.

Fang nodded, but Angel interrupted him. "Then why is it ridiculous?"

"What?"

"Fang said that they wouldn't believe it because it's silly."

Fang's eyes flashed to mine in a typical 'crap' expression.

"We're just joking around Angel. Go to sleep."

She sat up completely straight then. "But I'm not tired." Behind her Fang grinned and I rolled my eyes.

"Sure you aren't."

Fang sighed and dropped his head back, still holding Angel to his side.

"Lets just go home."
