Hi guys!:) Thanks so much for all the name suggestions. They are all great! I have some name suggestions for you guys as well. So yeah I really love the name Max for the boy because I feel it's a name that both Isaac and Augustus had in common. The name of their pixelized hero! And for the girl I seem to be really set on the name... Amelia. Some day when I have a daughter I'd really like to name her Amelia because I find it's quite a beautiful and elegant name. The meaning of Amelia is to strive or excel or rival. I just really love the name and I think it'd be perfect for Kaitlyn and Isaac's daughter! Then her name could be Amelia Grace Tanner! :D it's just an idea. What do you guys think of the name? Let me know because I'm really attached to those names for the twins.

"Shit that hurts." I muttered as I stood up from the couch. I looked over at Anna who was drawing some pictures at the coffee table. Good on you for trying to teach the kid how to swear. I winced and grabbed the phone from the table and dialed Isaac's work number.

Both the Lancasters were away on business trips so Anna was staying with us for a few days. I was taking time off work due to the pregnancy. I'm six months pregnant now and these two babies in me were getting extremely heavy and painful to carry around. The phone rang.

"Come on Isaac pick up." I muttered.

"Yes dear?" An annoyed voice answered on the other end. I rolled my eyes.

"Where are you?" I had scheduled another appointment with the doctor just to make sure everything is okay with you know who.

"Still at the office my dear." Isaac said.

"You should have been here an hour ago!"

"Things are a bit crazy here Kat." Isaac said. I sighed.

"Well I have to head over there right now." I said.

"Okay. I'll try and get there as soon as I can." Isaac said. I sighed again.

"Okay but hurry."

"Of course."

"Hey." He said.

"I love you." I smiled.

"I love you too." I whispered back.

"I'll see you in a bit."

"Okay." And we hung up. I stared at the phone in my hand and took a deep breath.

"Alrighty Anna. Let's get going." I grabbed my coat and purse. Anna jumped up from the ground and slung her huge blue backpack onto her back. She had a giant smile spread across her face. Her blue eyes were shining.

"Are we going to see the twins?" She asked with enthusiasm. I smiled.

"Yeah we are." Anna smiled and took my hand and lead me out the door.

Kaitlyn

Anna was sitting in a high stool next to the bed I was lying on. She held my hand as I stared at the ceiling. I'm not worried about the twins. I wasn't worried the ultra sound would show me something bad. No. I know they're okay. I was just remembering Anna's mother. Hazel. God I remember Hazel going through the same exact process to bring Anna into this world.

I missed Hazel so much and Anna reminded me of her every day. Anna was looking around the room and I just looked at her sitting there. Anna is nearly seven. She is so opinionated like Hazel. Curious and selfless and... amazing. Anna caught me staring at her.

"Are you thinking about my mom?" Anna asked. I didn't say anything I just nodded. Anna squeezed my hand.

"Do you miss my mommy like Isaac does?" Anna asked.

"Yes. Every day." I whispered. She is smart that girl.

"I bet she misses you too." Anna said. The door opened and the doctor came in.

"Hello there!" Dr. Quartet said cheerfully. Anna smiled.

"Hi!" The doctor smiled down at Anna.

"And who is this?" He asked.

"This is my god daughter, Anna." Anna held out her hand and shook the Doctor's.

"Nice to meet you sir!" Dr. Quartet smiled.

"The pleasure is mine." Dr. Quartet sat down in his chair and started setting up the ultra sound equipment.

"So to my understanding you are here for another ultra sound just as a check up on the little guys, correct?" I nodded. I shiver when the doctor placed the device with the cold gel on my exposed stomach. Anna stared intently at the monitor, waiting for something to appear on the screen. Shapes appeared. Body shapes.

"Look Kaitlyn! Look look look!" Anna said practically jumping up and down in her seat pointing at the screen. I smiled and laughed.

"Do you see that Kaitlyn?" Anna asked.

"Yes. Yes I do." I said with a smile. Anna stopped and frowned at the screen.

"What's wrong Anna?" I asked.

"What are you going to call them?" Anna asked. Isaac and I had spoken briefly about names but nothing was for sure yet.

"We haven't decided yet." I said.

"Can I help with the names?" Anna asked, her big blue eyes pleading. I smiled. I can't really resist that look now can I?

"Sure. Of course you can." Anna smiled and looked at the screen.

"You should name them after mommy and daddy." Anna said. My thoughts trailed off. I had considered naming the twins after Hazel and Augustus but naming my kids after my deceased friends was not honoring them in anyway. It also just opens wounds that have been trying to heal these past six years.

"Maybe..." I said. There was a knock at the door and Isaac's head peered in.

"Blind man coming in." Anna jumped down from the stool and grabbed Isaac's hand and led him to where I was.

"The twins are good Isaac!" Anna said proudly. Isaac laughed and ruffled Anna's hair.

"Great work Anna." I took Isaac's hand and I squeezed. He squeezed mine back and that's all I needed.

Isaac

Anna was settled down for the night. I found my way back into our bedroom and laid down next to Kaitlyn. I heard her slow breathing. She was fidgeting in her spot on the bed. Her hand almost touching mine. I turned my head to where I thought hers was.

"You okay?" I whispered. Kaitlyn sighed.

"It's just... weird being in the same place she was." Kaitlyn whispered back. She was talking about Hazel.

"I'm not as brave as she was and I know we've said we will go through with this. I'm not backing out or anything I'm just... scared." I nodded and took Kaitlyn's hand. She put her forehead against mine. I stroked her face with my hand.

"I mean what if I'm not a good mother? What if I screw it up?" I continued to stroke her face until she calmed down.

"You have to have confidence Kat. Confidence in your own ability and then you have to be tough enough to follow through." I may be blind but I could feel her eyes on me. She put her hand on my face and kissed me. Nice and slow. When she pulled back she whispered.

"You never cease to amaze me Isaac Tanner." I smiled.

"I try." I said. Kaitlyn laughed out loud. And we just laid there. Yes. We are scared shitless to become parents but like Max Mayhem we will take every bullet and nothing will knock us down.

Hey so sorry about all the time jumps guys. Is it confusing? I'm trying to do as little time jumps as I can but it's kind of difficult because if there's no time jump it kind of just drags on:/ almost baby time guys! excited? So yea my idea for the names of the twins are Amelia Grace and Max (no idea what the middle name would be for him though:/ got any ideas?)

So let me know what you think of the names I have in mind. I'm kind of leaning towards those names but I still really want your input so keep commenting baby names!
