Corina put her hands on her hips, as she stared unblinkingly at her life-mate. "Did you get hit the head by Kero or what? Honestly, you do not listen to anything I tell you, I read through emotions!"
"Dearheart, you know I haven't been hit that hard since second year of training." Harry spoke feigning innocence.
Sirius snickered at the two thinking of his two best friends.
Corina's fist tightened and she pulled back and delivered a blow to Harry's chin, knocking him backwards. "That was for your idiotic questions, and trying to be innocence."
Morgan hung her head. :You deserved that, Chosen.:
"Your temper has gotten better dear." He said as he rubbed his chin with a slow smile
"No it hasn't, I just know when to control my emotions, unlike you." Corina responds, snorting like her own Companion would.
Harry stood and wrapped his arms around Corina's waist "I'm sorry that was mean of me." He leaned in to kiss her forehead "Can you forgive me?"
The others in the wing watched this in awed silence.
"I'm not sure." Corina replied, Harry caught the double meaning in her words.
He opened his mind to her. :What will it take.:
Morgan heard the two new humans whispered to each other "Its James and lils come back."
Corina shook her head. :It's not that I won't forgive you, it's this whole mess, I do not feel the same brotherhood here like the Heraldic Circle. I know some Heralds don't like each other on a personal level, but they still care as brothers, it's not the same here.:
:Yes, your right; we need to get back home, this place is affecting us all.: Harry replied
McGonagall couched to regain the two Heralds attention, since Merlin came to her; she had absorbed a grain deal about their world through him. "Excuse me, but I was coming to talk to you both, before you summoned me."
"Oh what's wrong, Professor McGonagall?" Harry asks
"Nothing that needs your attentions, but Albus and myself were wondering if you would be willing to meet with the members of the Order of the Phoenix?" McGonagall asks
"We'll think about it lets get these two settled and then we'll meet with this order." Harry replied looking dire.
"I think Remus remembers where he stayed during his stay here." McGonagall answers
Morgan let herself out, and went back out to the grounds.
"Yes of course professor I'll take Sirius to our rooms." Remus replies
Sirius looked strangely at Harry, like he wanted to stay, but Remus dragged him out of the room.
The others went their separate ways both Heralds went to tack up their companions to ride in to the town and find Hermione as well.
The two Heralds were walking when they heard Hermione's voice.
"I told you Ronald Weasley, Not to send that! You got what you deserved"
"But Hermione, I was just trying to do what you've always telling me to expand the wizarding world's knowledge." Ron was trying to explain.
"No, you were trying to go behind our backs" Corina replies, as the two Heralds got within hearing distance. "Without permission or approval."
"No, I wasn't I was trying to organize everything first really." He looked down to the ground "I'm sorry about that."
"You said you were going to send it to your brother, to see if he could find out if he knew anything about Heralds, that is going behind our backs." Harry states
"I was going to tell you both first before I sent it off that's why I was heading to you tents first."
"And we still would have refused. So end of discussion." Corina states
"Yes ma'am " Ron once more lowering his head in shame. Corina felt he was honest in his shame. "Before I forget I was going to give these to you as well." and he gave a set of papers as well.
"What are they?" Corina questions
"The rest of the notes I made myself before Hermione helped me since I broke trust with you I don't want these anymore." Ron replies
"I don't want them or need them." Corina states
"Then burn them I told I broke trust and I don't want or deserve them." Ron left the group as well.
Ron walked right into a mage-shield
"Herald Harry please I just want to go now." Ron asked politely.
"No. You haven't broken our trust; we are not from here, so you're dealing with two people who had very different upbringing..." Harry replies, "We aren't your parents or peers."
"But your emissaries to here plus your here to help us with Voldemort."
"No we're not. We are just here to deal with Voldemort, and who in the name of all the gods names their child Voldemort?' Harry replies
Ron turned to face the two Heralds and gave a smile "I agree that has to be the worst name ever."
"And he's here to deal with that wizard, not me? So what's my excuse?" Corina asks, "Besides we weren't assigned here, so we are not here on behalf of the Crown."
"Still I'm glad you're both here and that I'm sorry for what I did." He stood and with a wave turned to walk back to the castle.
Harry shook his head, but Heralds knew he wouldn't be joining them, "So Hermione, got any plans right now?"
"Nothing right now my classes are over for now so what you got planned?" Hermione questions
"We need to exercise the Companions, and we thought about going into town, so we were hoping you had the time to play guide." Harry answers
The smile on face gave them their answer before she even spoke. "Of course just give me a minute to put my bag up and grab my pouch."
The two Heralds nodded.
Hermione took off like a bolt to the castle to gather her things.
The two Heralds went down to their tents, missing the stable hands of the Companions' tack shed.
About ten minutes later they found Hermione waiting for them outside thier area looking like she was about to jump out her skin.
"Slow down, catling." Corina laughed, "We still have to get the Companions' tacked up."
"Sorry, I'm just excited that's all and what's a catling?" She looked at them both.
"It's just a nickname, you remind me of a cat." Corina answers, as she ducked into the second tent that was Morgan and Dasher's makeshift stable.
Hermione blushed at that and slowly calmed herself.
"We give nicknames to those we care about." Harry explains as he too went into the second tent and came out with Morgan's tack.
Hermione felt her face turn redder at Harry's kinds words.
Corina came back out with Dasher's track, and waited until the stallion came up, who nuzzled her with affection, giving wordless love then stood still, as Corina began to saddle him.
"Umm Corina can I help with that?" She asked in a soft voice.
"Sure, if Dasher doesn't mind." Corina replies
The stallion shook his head.
"Thank you Dasher." Hermione slowly began to help saddle the companion for the trip to the town.
"The reins are mainly used for guiding, but then those with Mindspeech don't worry about that." Corina explains, as she finished with the saddle.
"Right, but why have them at all if only the Heralds ride them for the most part." Hermione states
"Cause we'd look awfully stupid without something to hold onto, and for younglings who never spent any time in the saddle the reins are a good thing to hold onto." Harry answers as he was tacking up Morgan.
"And the reins are useful if we happen to be on ice-rescue." Corina adds
Hermione nodded in agreement, as she tightened the last buckle on Dasher's tack.
Corina did a final check to make sure every strap was in place. "Well for your first time doing this, you did very well."
Harry finished up with Morgan and swung up into the saddle, with Corina following a fraction of a second later.
"Well, let's go." Harry states.
