Epilogue

It was sweet the music that echoed around them as if nothing had ever happened. A normal day without the pain of the time skips, the dragons running around trying to kill them all, or even a petty thief roaming the streets that they would have to catch later. The castle echoed with the hustle and bustle of partying, smiling, eccentric, excited mages from all over the land of Fiore. It was only a few days after the Grand Magic Games.

"Natsu-Saaaaan! Let's have a drink!" Sting approached Gajeel quickly seeming as if he was either overly cheery or had already taken a couple swigs himself. "Salamander isn't here." Gajeel muttered not even bothering to talk between bites as he chewed off whatever food he was holding. Gajeel quickly turned away from the young dragon slayer towards Rogue. "Ryos." Gajeel stated. There were probably some things that had to be said. "Don't call me that...It's Rogue." Rogue muttered with a quick glance away as if he actually wanted to use his real name. "It's guy from the future." Gajeel sighed noticing something was bugging Rogue. "But I'm not going to become that person." Rogue smiled as Sting slowly reached up throwing his arm over Gajeel's shoulder like they were close buddies. "Come on! Gajeel-San let's have a drink!" He cheered already pouring them each a cup.

"Hey, Gajeel?" Levy whispered walking up to him. "What?" Gajeel murmured out from behind his food. "W-Would you d-dance with me?" Levy whispered as Gajeel looked towards her and then glancing away with a dark blush on his face. "It's not like I wanted to." Gajeel muttered turning back to her to take her hand only to find that a different pair of warm hands had slipped their place into Levy's hands and were carefully, delicately, and precisely dancing away with Levy on the floor. "Hey!" Gajeel shouted as he watched Rogue steal his dancing partner only to offer him up a smile directly at him.

As if Rogue was toying with him, Gajeel felt himself frown as Rogue took his attention back to Levy as if she was the only thing that existed in the entire world. "Where those two always like that?" Gajeel asked turning to Sting who was taking another sip of his drink waiting for Rogue to return to them so they could have a toast. "No. I believe this is the first time they've met." Sting mumbled the memories of his time with Rogue, Levy, even the twins from the hospital having disappeared.

whispers: but that look deep in Rogue's eyes when he looks at Levy has not.

"You actually don't seem that mad for someone else dancing with the one you seem to love." Sting teased as Gajeel turned away as he reddened he wouldn't let anyone from another guild see his reddened face not even his own guild. "Ha! Don't be ashamed!" Sting laughed slapping him on the back as Gajeel sighed glancing back at Rogue's tight embrace towards Levy. It was like he expecting someone to come over there and snatch her away from him any minute.

"It's so he can understand how it is to hold something so precious in his own two hands."

Author's Note: the beginning is from Chapter 338 from what I wanted to do it had to be put in.

I picked this up the first time I finished a story. At the end of a story I like to write out thanks to everyone who has read the story and especially point out the people who helped me along such as my reviewers and followers. I also like to put out the most read chapter and the stats of the story so here they are (including the one's with the weird names...you all know who you are):

Thank you to my reviewers: First off Madeline-Chan09 who gave 13 or more reviews full of encouragement and enlightening words, next to Erzatscarlett who gave the second most reviews with 3, Also to sweetcrazyme, sakuramcgarden, saravvvillareal, Rheann, TabsTeam, Fairy Vampire-Chan, milktea, sakuramcgarden, Confused-Anime-Fan, FairyTailWolf6, Lilian062, Vicky vampire Vale, Amanda, Reika Sakura-San, and the three different reviews from a Guest (or many guests)

The most viewed chapter(s) were...this time we actually had two since they are so considerably close and I prefer to disclude the first chapter because it is always the most viewed...Chapter 23, 32, AND 37. They were all very close but I decided to put a spot light on all three. Chapter 23 is where Levy first discovers Rogue's problems with his magic but decides to accept it along with some coaxing from Sting. Chapter 32 is one of my shorter chapters with only a little more than 700 words where Levy writes some diary enteries showing the beginning of some horrible events to come, she also expresses her pride in Gajeel to find his way into the Grand Magic Games, and that when Gajeel and Rogue fought she was secretly cheering for both of them even though someone else could only tell that she seemed to only be cheering for Gajeel. Gajeel asks her to stay by his side where she quickly retorts "wasn't it never leave my side?" where dragons swarm the skies ruining their climatic moment (at least it wasn't the Magic Council). Chapter 37- Or the Finale of the series is Rogue finally discovering what was wrong with him, also discovering that he was the one who murdered Sting, Levy's foreshadowed dream from the very, very, very beginning of this story coming true, and everything being fixed to wrap everything up.
