The only reaction to Nagisa's present is a severely confused look as she holds up the drum inspecting it.

"What's this for?" Gou asks dryly expecting this to be a prank from the blonde but to her surprise he looks slightly hurt and huffs.

"It's you Christmas present Gou-chan," Nagisa pouts crossing his arms defensively. Gou blinks in surprise this was actually well thought out?

"Thanks," Gou says awkwardly ,suddenly feeling guilty for hurting him even though she really didn't mean to.

Nagisa shrugs, "since you got me the panpipes I thought I might get you something musical as well," he explains lacking his usual enthusiasm.

Gou bites her lip, thinking desperately of a way to cheer him up. Pecking him on the cheek, she smiles, "Thanks Nagisa, I love it."

Nagisa cheeks turn pink and brightens up, "yayyy Gou-chan, I thought you hated it, you could use it to help us keep motivated in practice," he rattles on at a high speed pace which causes Gou to smile.

At the end of their next swim practice, all of them including Haruka exit the pool exhausted with the constant pounding and chants of Gou's ones, twos, resonating in their heads.

The quiet moment of peace, caused by exhausted swimmers, is broken by a loud crash due to two things, one the door being flung open and two, the fact that it was accompanied by a similar loud noise from the drum in their manager's hand.

"What are you guys doing?" Gou questions, "you haven't finished cooling down."

This causes a groan though the room, "But Gou-chan," Nagisa starts which is silenced by a glare from Gou and a threatening message.

"You wouldn't want me to double your training menu," she states before exciting the club room swiftly.

Rei turns to Nagisa not amused,

"You just had to, Nagisa, you just had to."

yaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy Merry Christmas guys, as since where I'm at it's officially 37 minutes into Christmas day, which also means this chapter's late, sorry. Also I'm planning to write a Christmas based one-shot but I don't know if I'll get it out on Christmas day so apologies in advanced.
