That night the three of then sat around the table going over all of the information they had, trying to come up with different leads that made sense. Earlier Sam went over to the police station to get a copy of the file on the new man that was found dead, and he stopped over at the morgue to pick up any information that he could get. Kate called back the widow to get the names of their golf club and the cigar shop.

Now everyone was quietly going over everything they had. Kate was going over the coroners reports. Dean was looking at the pictures of the burn marks on all three men, and Sam was on his laptop finding out information on the two companies the men worked for.

"Hey Sam, remember that dumbass we went to school with in Colorado, the guy who would always put out his cigarettes on his arm." Dean asked as he continued to look at the pictures.

"Ahhh, yeah. Why?" Sam looked up over his laptop at his brother.

"Do these remind you of the burn marks on his arm?" Dean handed Sam the three pictures of the burn marks on the men.

"You're right!" Sam said. "But these are too big to be from a cigarette, maybe from a lighter or a brand?"

"Cigar." Kate said before she realized what she was meaning, "A cigar! The cigar shop!" She excitedly as she started to piece things together.

"Did you get the name of the shop from the widow?" Dean asked as Kate was already looking for the name.

"Anthony's Cigars." Kate read off from her notes.

"It's on 4th street and they open up tomorrow at nine." Sam said as he found their web site.

"Looks like we might've found our lead." Dean said giving Kate a smile.

"Looks like we do," Kate gave him a smile back, "I'm going to head back to my room and get some sleep." She said getting up from her seat. Both of the brothers called out a good night before she left the room. She took her time walking back to her room; which was only a five doors down. As she got to her door she stopped, not wanting to go inside. Kate went over towards the railing that separated the parking lot from the walkway and she leaned her back against it. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, letting herself relax as the cool night air blow against her.

"Kate?"

Kate's eyes flow open and she jumped when she heard her name being called. Putting her hand on her chest to feel her pounding heart as she turned to see who was calling her.

"Shit, don't scare me like that." She said with her hand still resting on her chest.

"Didn't mean to." Dean laughed as he walked over towards her, "What are you still doing out here?"

"Just wanted to take in the fresh air." She said looking back out across the parking lot like she was before. "What about you?"

"I needed to get something from the trunk." He said holding up his keys. "Mind if I join you?" He asked before moving to lean up against the railing next to her. Kate didn't say anything, she just moved over a little to give him room.

"So." Dean said looking out across the parking lot.

"So," Kate said back.

"We should probably talk about what happened back in Nebraska." Dean said after the silence was getting to be too much for him.

"You're probably not talking about the hunt, are you?"

"No, I was thinking about what happened after the hunt, right before we left." Dean said with a little laugh at Kate small attempt at not talking about their kiss.

"Yeah, that." Kate said letting out a long breathe, she knew they would end up talking about it at some point. She just didn't know what to say.

"Since you were the one to kiss me, why don't you start." Dean gave her a smirk.

Kate had two choices; she could lie to Dean or tell him why she really kissed him.

"I'm not really sure what I was thinking." Kate started, "You were telling me all these things, and talking about your deal. It just happened." Kate said looking at her feet.

"It just happened?" Dean questioned, not really sure he believed her. "It's been my experience that when you kiss someone, it's for a reason."

"From what I hear, when you kiss someone it's to get them into bed." Kate said softly and after she said it she hoped he hadn't heard her.

"You saying you want to get me into bed?" Dean would be shocked if that is what Kate was getting at; not that he was saying he wouldn't mind.

"What?!" Kate said loudly as her face turned bright red. "I was trying to say that we both have a different view on what kissing means."

"What does it mean to you?" Dean pushed on, hoping he could get some sort of answer out of her that made sense.

"It means," Kate paused, "That I like you, but." Kate stopped

"But, we hunt together which would make things hard, we're always gone and on the road, and that I am heading down to the pit in a few months, which would make things really hard." He finished for her.

"Yes," Kate answered after he said everything that she was thinking. "It just wouldn't be good for either of us." She added, glad that Dean was able to say everything that she had been thinking, but still a little sad that nothing would be able to happen between them.

"You're probably right." Dean said turning his head back towards the parking lot to look out. "But just so we are clear, you do like me?" Dean said looking back at Kate with a big grin across his face.

"Dean." Kate said.

"Come on, just say it." He pushed her to say.

"Why do you want to hear me to say it?" She asked still feeling strange about actually saying it out loud.

"I've never had someone that I care about say something like that to me before." He looked up at her as he put his hands in his pockets. Kate didn't know what to say at that point. She was shocked by what he was telling her. She knew how much Dean had gotten around in his past. She just assumed that he had a relationship at one point, one with someone he did care about. "I care about you too Kate." He said as he kept looking at her and when she looked up it at him, she knew that he wasn't going to give her time to say something.

Dean's lips were pressed against hers, and it was her turn to be shocked by what he was doing. All of Kate's worries had left her, the second he wrapped his arms around her. She forgot about the ghosts, and demons or Dean's time that was coming to an end. All she could think about was that he cared for her, the same as she did for him.

Dean stood in front of Kate with his hands wrapped around her waist, with her back up against the railing they had been leaning on before. Neither of them wanted to end the kiss that was becoming more intense with every passing second.

"Ahem!"
