Next chapter! I surprisingly enjoyed the first part of the chapter, especially with Cinderella holding the machine gun. I will try to make this part interesting as well, since the last chapter was very interesting and included a fifth waller. Review please!
The five teams of the final five were dueling against each other. Each team was to choose one from each team to duel in this Five-Way Duel. The ones dueling were Jaden Yuki, Seto Kaiba, Yako Tenma, Joey Wheeler, and Leon Von Schroeder. They each had a curtain opponent to want to take out more than the other. Though, it eventually led to wanting to try to take out someone else. Each duelist had fun trying to take the other out.
Jaden had Elemental Hero Neos, who was equipped with Glass Slipper due to the card's effect, bringing Neo's attack down to 1500. He also had two face-down cards and one card in his hand. Jaden held 3700 life points. He was energized about fighting against Yako's Wicked Avatar, since it was cool looking and challenging. Though, he made a promise to Leon that he would fight Cinderella and never had the chance to fight Yako's Wicked Avatar.
Joey held Time Wizard and two Scapegoats on the field with two face-down cards. There were two cards in his hand and 2600 life points remaining. He wanted to go after Seto and Leon. Seto for being a jerk to him, saying he wouldn't stand a chance winning, and Leon for using Glass Slipper on Jinzo. Everyone though, thought it was funny that Jinzo wore glass slippers, but Joey found it annoying.
Three monsters were on Leon's field: Cinderella with 1300 attack points, Pumpkin Carriage, and Snow White. He held two cards face-down and in his hand with 4100 life points remaining. He enjoyed playing with all four other players and especially enjoyed Jaden trying to attack his Cinderella. Winning or losing never mattered to Leon, even if he and Mokuba would spend their lives in the Shadow Realm if he lost this duel.
Seto had no monsters on the field, but two cards folded and in his hand with 3499 life points remaining. There was no doubt in his mind that Joey would not survive this duel. As far as he was concerned, there were four other duelists that could pawn Joey before he knew what hit him. Though, Seto could see that he was coming strong by the minute. Perhaps Joey was able to stay a little longer. Still...
Yako already brought his Wicked Avatar to the field, who looked like Elemental Hero Neos with 2501 attack, and a Wing Token on the field. He had one face-down card and three cards in his hand with 2700 life points. He took the opportunity to attack the other players while they were going against one another. Though, he was attacked several times directly at his life points by Leon's monster Cinderella, which would seem to be a problem for him. Dueling this Five-Way Duel proved to be harder than he thought.
It was now Seto's turn and he was willing to bring out some monsters to defend himself, maybe lay down some trap cards, now that Jinzo was destroyed. One thing remained on his mind, he wanted to take down Mokuba and the only way to do this was to survive this duel. Leon seemed to be doing fine on his own, so Seto needed to focus on keeping himself in the game. He drew his next card and peered at his hand. A smirk developed on his lips.
"I play my face-down card, Soul Exchange!" Seto declared as he revealed his face-down card. "With this, I can choose up to three monsters to use as sacrifice and I choose two of Wheeler's Scapegoats!"
"WHA!" Joey responded as he watched his Scapegoats disappear from his field and end up on Seto's field.
"I sacrifice two Scapegoats to bring out my second Blue-Eyes White Dragon!" Seto declared as his second Blue-Eyes White Dragon appeared gloriously on the field. A smirk developed upon his face. "I play Pot of Greed and draw two cards!" He drew two more cards from his deck to his hand. "I also play Quick Summon from my hand to bring out Saggi the Dark Clown in defense mode!" A gothic looking clown appeared on the field in a defensive position. Joey gulped, knowing what Seto had up his sleeve. "I place one card face-down, then my Blue-Eyes will start her assault on Snow White!" Blue-Eyes White Dragon took a gulp of breath and blew a blast of lighting from its mouth, destroying Snow White from the field. Leon showed a smirk as Seto rose two eyebrows, wondering why he did that. Then, Seto saw to his very shock, Snow White was still on the field and now seemed to be asleep. "WHAT?"
"Snow White's special ability activates, when it's attacked and destroyed from the field, Snow White then becomes a permanent trap. When Snow White is destroyed by battle, she infects you with poison. Not only do you end your battle phase, but until your life points or monster is attacked, your turn is continually skipped," Leon smirked as Seto gasped in horror and Mokuba began laughing his guts off. So, this is Snow White's ability!
"Guess you're out of luck, Kaiba!" Joey smirked, pointing his index finger at Seto.
"Of course, you're allowed to activate traps or spells to protect your life points, but is it worth it if you can't attack?" Leon asked rhetorically with a dirty smirk on his lips.
"Wow dog, that's just tight!" Jaden complimented with a thumbs up.
"I generally would feel sorry for Kaiba, but I don't," Yako smirked before drawing his next card. Seto shot the holder of the Wicked Gods an angry glare. "I play Silent Doom to bring back Tellus, then sacrifice him and his Winged Token to bring out Angel 07!" Tellus the Little Angel appeared back on the field before it and Wing Token disappeared from the field and were replaced with Angel 07. "Angel's special ability prevents any use of effect Monsters!"
"Angel huh? Sounds like-" Seto said, about to mock before Yako shot him a death glare. "Okay, okay, I get it, you're totally straight!"
Everyone chuckled at the comment as Yako glared even deeper, then declaring, "I'll start with you, Kaiba! My Angel attacks your excuse for a monster!" Angel 07 unleashed a blast of light at Saggi the Dark Clown and it disappeared from the field. Then, Seto activated his trap.
"I activate Crush Card!" Seto smirked, activating his trap.
"What?" Yako responded with confusion.
"This card is activated when a dark monster with 1000 or less attack points is destroyed and sent to the graveyard. Now, all of your monsters, including everyone else's monsters, with 1500 or more attack on your field, deck, and hand are destroyed and sent to the graveyard," Seto explained.
"Oh... **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************-"
"Language!" Rath called out in a singing voice. "This isn't a rated R movie, boy."
Angel 07 and Wicked Avatar was instantly destroyed and sent to the graveyard, including Elemental Hero Neos. Jaden was affected by the effect of Glass Slipper and remained with 2200 life points. Seto smirked, "and due to Glass Slipper's ability, it attaches itself to Cinderella, giving her and extra 1000 points." Glass Slipper was back on Cinderella's feet and her attack points rose to 2300 before she was instantly destroyed by the Crush Card. "Now, she's gone, and since Saggi the Dark Clown was attacked, I will have my turn again!"
"Yes, but now Snow White's other ability activates. When the poisoned opponent is attacked and released from the curse, Snow White is revived back on the field in defense mode!" Leon said as Snow White woke up and was now in a crouching position.
"Too bad," Seto smirked.
"I place one card face-down and end my turn," Yako finished, seemingly to be running out of ideas.
"Don't give up, Yako! You can do this!" Gekko cried out as Yako nodded to his brother.
"Not from where I can see! That Crush Card is really totaling him," Hassleberry said.
"Crush Card has a weakness!" Chazz said smugly. "It only takes out monsters with 1500 attack or above. When Mr. Kaiba used it against me, it only took out a few of my monsters."
"That's right! It doesn't effect the Ojama trio!"
"It doesn't effect Jaden's monsters either. Most of them are even under 1000 attack points," Yugi mentioned with a sly smirk. "Crush Card is very powerful, but it can only take down monsters with high attack points. If anyone is going to survive this, they will have to learn to use low attack monsters with incredible abilities."
"Yako hasn't dueled without the Wicked Gods ever since participating," Gekko said.
"Then, he'll have to start learning and finding a way. When Kaiba first used that against Yami, he found it hard to get himself out of the mess. Jaden knows how to live without that, because the key to his deck is by fusion," Yugi explained.
"That's right! Because Jaden's strong monsters are from his extra deck, not his regular deck!" Hassleberry concluded aloud. "Though, Jaden still can't summon out fusion monsters to save his life!"
"That maybe so, but most of his monsters are effect monsters, which is his other key he uses for victory."
"Leon will be fine too! His monsters are low types too!" Mokuba mentioned. "In fact, his ace monsters are low attack monsters."
"What about Joey?" Chazz asked.
"I think Joey might be able to get everyone out of this situation if he plays the right card," Yugi said plainly as Chazz narrowed his gaze out on the field.
"Guess it's my turn!" Jaden shrugged as he drew his next card. "Aw man! Still no Kuriboh! Maybe this will help! Card of Sanctity!" He revealed Card of Sanctity from his hand and everyone drew from their deck to their hand until they each held six cards. Yako felt sweat pouring, as he saw the size of his deck, which was very small. Jaden felt sorry for the poor guy. Seto had really crippled Yako's deck. "Hey Yako!" Yako looked directly at Jaden with furrowed eyebrows. He winked. "Ready to get your game on?" Yako chuckled in response.
"Yes, I am," Yako replied as Jaden peered over his six cards.
"Kuri kuri!" Jaden heard Kuriboh as he winked at his little pet friend.
"I summon Winged Kuriboh in attack mode!" Jaden declared as Winged Kuriboh appeared on the field.
"Watch out for Winged Kuriboh!" Chazz warned his partner. "He may not look tough, but Jaden knows how to use that pathetic thing to upgrade it and destroy your monsters!"
"Thanks for the warning," Seto said, seemingly sarcastic.
"I'll just place two face-downs and end my turn!" Jaden finished. There wasn't much he could do at this point.
"Alright, looks like it's my turn!" Joey grinned excitedly as he drew his next card. "Time for me to give ya a taste of your own medicine, Kaiba!" He flipped up his trap card. "I activate Graverobber and use it on your Blue-Eyes!" Blue-Eyes White Dragon appeared on Joey's side of the field. Seto glared angrily at Joey, who was laughing his head off. "Now, let's see how the two do together when I activate my dice combo!" One face-down card was flipped up while Joey revealed another one from his hand. The one in his hand was Graceful Dice and the other one face-down was Skull Dice. The two little men both rolled their die on the ground. The blue die showed a 4 and the red one showed a 3. Seto's Blue-Eyes White Dragon's attack decreased to 2700 and the Blue-Eyes White Dragon on Joey's side increased to 3400. "Time for your Blue-Eyes to attack your other one!" The two dragons attacked one another and the Blue-Eyes White Dragon on Seto's side died, leaving the rich billionaire with 2799. "Now, Time Wizard attacks you directly!" Time Wizard shot a blast of light at Seto, leaving him with 2299 life points. "I end it with two cards folded!"
"I'll make you pay dearly for that for that little stunt!" Seto shouted.
"Okay, where have I heard that before?" Yugi asked himself, then smacked his forehead. "Paradox." He cried out, "KAIBA, GET BETTER PUNCHLINES!"
"Who wants to play the punchline drinking game?" Chazz offered.
"We don't have whiskey," Hassleberry reminded Chazz.
"Darn it!"
"I've got Root Beer," Gekko offered.
"Now, we're talking!" Chazz smirked.
"Okay, my turn! I draw!" Leon shouted as he drew his card.
"Take a shot!" Yugi announced as everyone poured their root beer in a small tiny cup and drank it, knowing it was soda and not an alcoholic drink.
Leon peered into his hand, coming up with a perfect strategy. He showed a small smile and said, "I play One Hundred Year Awakening by discarding Curse of Thorns to special summon Thorn Princess from my deck!" A princess with green hair and a thorn vines surrounding her appeared on the field with a smile across her face. "When this monster is special summoned, I can take control of one monster from my opponent's field!"
"Aw snap!" Joey responded with widened eyes. He eyed his Time Wizard, which Leon could use against him and everyone else.
"I control Kaiba's Blue-Eyes!" Leon smirked as Blue-Eyes White Dragon disappeared from Joey's field and ended up on his side of the field. Seto shook his fists and his glare deepened. "I thought since Joey could control Blue-Eyes, I should share the glory. First, Blue-Eyes will attack Kaiba with White Lightning!" Blue-Eyes White Dragon shot a lightning blast on its way to Seto.
"Time to take a shot!" Mokuba cried out as everyone drank a small cup of Root Beer.
"I activate my trap card, Shrink!" Seto declared.
"There's another one!" Yugi said as everyone took another shot.
"What are you doing?" Seto asked with glaring eyes.
"Playing the Punch Line Drinking Game! Whenever one of you guys say a cliché punch line, we all take a shot!" Yugi replied.
"You... You sicken me!" Seto said with annoyance.
"And that's another shot!" Yugi said as everyone took another shot.
"Whatever," Seto muttered quietly, not wanting Yugi to announce to take another drink. "Shrink makes it to where I can choose a face-up monster on the field and half its attack points!" Blue-Eyes White Dragon now held 2000 attack points as she shot her blast at Seto, leaving him with 299 life points remaining.
"Now, Snow White Attacks Yako directly!" Leon declared as Snow White ran up to Yako.
"I activate Fiend's Sanctuary by special summoning one Metal Fiend Token!" Yako declared as a snowman-like monster appeared with its head reflecting Leon's face. Snow White ran up, jumping in the air, and kicking the token as Leon's life points dropped to 3800.
"Guess there's nothing much I can do now," Leon shrugged. "I place one card face down. Turn end!"
"That's another shot!" Chazz smirked as everyone took a shot.
"Wait, why didn't you attack Kaiba, he's wide open!" Joey asked Leon.
"So Mokuba and I can duel him! As much as I enjoy kicking his butt, I'm not gonna let my partner go without dueling his brother! I know what it's like to want to prove myself to my brother. Zigfried had practically raised me all my life and I want to prove myself to him that I can be strong," Leon explained as Joey stared at him bug-eyed.
"But Mokuba's been nothing, but a jerk!"
"He's a Kaiba! That's how they prove themselves!" Leon explained like it was plain obvious. "Just like we Schroeder's prove ourselves by outfoxing the other."
"Figures," Seto smirked with a snorting sound. "My turn! I draw!" He drew his card.
"Take a shot!" Yugi announced as everyone took a shot.
"WOULD YOU STOP THAT, YUGI?" Seto shouted in annoyance. He peered at his hand and came up with a quick strategy. "I summon Blade Knight in attack mode! I also set two cards face-down before Blade Knight begins his onslaught!" A smirk appeared on his lips. "And I'll start with Wheeler's life points!" Blade Knight ran up to Joey as a smirk came upon his lips. "Blade Knight, attack Time Wizard!"
"There's another shot!" Chazz smirked as Seto glared at his partner. "What? You guys do declare battles to your monsters like their actual soldiers or something."
"Whatever!"
"You also shouldn't be so irrational, Kaiba! I activate Chasm of Spikes!" Joey declared as a gaping hole appeared on his field and Blade Knight fell into the pit. "Now, you take damage to a quarter of your monster's attack points, which means you're attack goes to-"
"I activate my trap!" Leon declared, revealing his face-down card. "Trap Jammer! This negates the activation of your Trap Card and destroys it!"
"WHAT?" Joey responded, freaking out.
"I knew Leon had something up his sleeves just in case, so I don't lose. I also had something, but I thought it was pointless to use it on you, Wheeler!" Seto smirked as Blade Knight jumped from the gaping hole and slashed Time Wizard with it's mighty sword and it burst from the field. Joey was now left with 1500 life points remaining. "I end!"
"That's a shot!" Hassleberry cried aloud as everyone took a shot.
"This is ridiculous!" Seto complained.
"I'm only afraid that there might not be any bathrooms around here," Yako halfly joked.
"Actually, I did see one across the hall from our rooms," Jaden clarified.
"Looks like it's free drinking for us!" Hassleberry said pumped up.
"I believe it's my turn," Yako declared as he drew his next card. "I summon Cassimolar on the field!" A dark dog with wings appeared on the field. "I place two cards face-down, then I use Cassimolar to attack Thorn Princess!" Cassimolar galloped toward the princess as Leon showed a sly smirk.
"You activated my trap, Mirror Force!" Leon declared as Cassimolar galloped right to the shield blocking Leon's monsters and destroyed it from the field.
"There's another one!" Hassleberry announced as everyone took another shot of Root Beer.
"Perfect, now I can activate my trap, Level Resist Wall! When a monster I control is destroyed and sent to the graveyard, I can special summon monsters from my hand with the same level!" Yako declared as his face-down card revealed itself and two monsters appeared on the field: Tellus the Little Angel and Agathion in a defense position.
"YAKO, YOU DID IT!" Gekko cheered as Yako made a thumbs up gesture.
"Does that count?" Hassleberry asked about Yako's thumbs up.
"No, only cliché lines, not gestures," Chazz reminded Hassleberry as he made a complaining moan.
"I lay one more card face-down and end my turn!" Yako declared, ending his turn.
"Wow, looks like everyone is turning the tables around, despite their disadvantage with their low monsters. What I'm afraid of is Yako running out of cards," Hassleberry pointed out.
"If I think he's doing what I think he's doing, he's trying to summon a Wicked God," Gekko said.
"But Kaiba's Crush card sends all monsters under 1500 attack points to the graveyard!" Chazz said.
"Yes, but two of them aren't over 1500," Gekko pointed out with a smirk.
"That's right! He's got one card left in his hand!" Mokuba realized with widened eyes. "He didn't just use that strategy, he's trying to empty his hand to summon..."
"Wicked Eraser," Yugi finished with focused eyes. "Though, there's a danger to this, if he replenishes his hand, Eraser could easily be killed by Kaiba's Crush Card. This means that in order for Wicked God Eraser to be stabled, he has to be stuck with 1000 attack points. Usually, this comes at a disadvantage, but in Yako's case, it's not."
"Smooth play," Mokuba smirked with interest. "Though, there's still Seto having low attack points. One shot and he's dead."
"Kaiba..." Chazz muttered.
"Take a shot!" Mokuba declared as everyone took a shot.
"That really is annoying," Chazz glared.
