Midnight Escape!
Alfie's P.O.V
It's half 11 and Saphire, Fabian and I are at the border of Jubilife City. We're in our normal outfits - there was no way I was wearing black tights. Saphire's Infernape is currently using dig in order to create a tunnel to the outside of the city - away from the police.
"So when we are on the other side we can fly on my Charizard and Unfezant to Oreburgh"explains Saphire.
"When we get to Oreburgh I go to a computer lab and hack into the security camera. Whilst I do that you and Saphire sneak into the museum from the top. When I confirm the cameras are down you go in and take the orb piece"further explains Fabian.
"Okay I get"I explain as Infernape reappears and we go into the tunnel. It's huge. Infernape begins to lead us down it.
"So how long should it take?"I ask.
"It depends. We can sleep on the journey home"
"What will Eddie say to the others?"
"He's going to say we're sick and are sleeping in the same room and can't be disturbed. He'll put Jerome, Willow, Mara and Dawn in one room. Mr Sweet is leaving tomorrow afternoon"
"I bet to check on Joy"
Joy's P.O.V
I don't know where I am but it is cramped. A cold shudder trickles down my spine. Slightly peaking in from the edges there is light but it fails to penetrate the darkness. I think I'm in the boot of a car. I'm certain it goes through a tunnel because the space was dark, so dark. I couldn't see my hand, even though it was literally an inch from my face. I gathered my courage to call out a hello, hoping against hope that someone would answer. Nobody did.
The car stopped. I move my hands around and feel my bag and pokeballs. Then I feel my phone in my pocket. This could work. I hit the emergency phone and someone picks up.
"Help I've been kidnapped"
"Okay ma'am do you know where you are?"
"No - but my phone number is 341937283 - please track it. They're going to open the boot. I'm going to try and make a run for it"I then hit end and put my phone in my bra. At least they can't get it. The car boot opens.
Alfie's P.O.V
After walking for ages through the tunnel in which my stomach was growling we ended up very far away from the city border. I snaffled a biscuit before we left to calm my monster of a stomach. The night air blows in our face as we race through the clouds. Saphire's Charizard is going really fast. It's been trained at the Valley of Dragons.
"How long to Oreburgh?"I ask.
"Well walking would take three weeks"
"Three weeks?!"exclaims Fabian.
"It's fine. They aren't stealing it tonight - they can't"
"Does Eddie know this?"
"No - it was to make sure anyone spying would be confident we would be there tonight"
"Wait what's happening tonight at Oreburgh?"I ask.
"There's a charity gala being held by the mayor to help fund an excavation of a fossil"
"So how long will it takes us to get to Oreubrgh"
"I would say a day or two"
"A day or two? What happens if the police ask where we are?!"asks Fabian hysterically. He should calm down.
"I have the perfect plan"
"Explain this perfect plan"
"Well I get Eddie to say we are trying to find Joy"
"That is alright, but what if Joy returns"
"Then we will just say we are lost"
"Okay so we following a last minute plan for about two days?!"
"Yeah but it can be one day"announces Saphire
"How?"I ask.
"Alfie you shouldn't have-"Fabian is interrupted mid sentence by Charizard speeding off. I hope he isn't sick on me.
