Hi Everyone! Thank you to those that reviewed. Here is the next chapter. I am going to place a trigger warning on this chapter. It is not in very much detail, but it could potentially cause problems for readers. I will block off the area where I believe the trigger warning applies. If you don't want to read that part then don't. You can PM me and I will give you a brief summary of what happened. I don't own Divergent. I see him in the lobby waiting for me. Tobias is sitting at ease in a chair in the lobby. He has his white coat off, and it is hanging over the arm of the chair. He sits there in his blue scrubs. His eyes are searching the crowd. My eyes meet his from down the hallway. A huge smile spread across my face. I walk quickly to see him. It take everything in me to not run to him. I know that I just saw him a few hours ago, but to me it seems like a lifetime ago. As I reach him, Tobias, grabs my hand. He runs his fingers along the back of my hand. He squeezes my hand and then pulls me out to his car. We walk out to the car in we get into the car he leans over and gives me a gentle kiss.

"I missed you." Tobias says to me.

"I missed you too." I say to him with a smile on my face.

"What would you like for dinner?" Tobias asks glancing over at me while he is driving the car home.

"I don't know. Why don't you decide?" I say.

"Okay. Let's have Chinese food. I have been dying for that lately." He says with a smile.

"That sounds wonderful." I say back to him with a smile on my face.

I get sweet and sour chicken, and Tobias gets beef and broccoli. We eat dinner together sitting together on the couch discussing how work was for him, and how clinical was for me. I tell him about how Tori let me change a intricate dressing that required a lot of time and skill. He tells about one of the surgeries he performed. The night is spent by use cuddling together on the couch studying.

Time Skip

I have noticed lately that Tobias has become more on edge again recently. Many times at night I am having to wake him up because he is tossing and turning. I wake him up, he is panting and bolts upright like he has seen a ghost. He lays back down after some reassurance. He always pulls me close. I have mention this pattern to him, and he brushes it off telling me it is just because he is stressed. I am worried about him though. He isn't acting right. He has a really big test coming up that he has been studying for. I have been trying to help him as much as I can. Tobias is very nervous about this test because it determines whether he gets to stay in the residency program, and if he passes it he will get to move up and become an attending next year.

I have been busy with all the extra work Marcus has decided to pile on this semester. I swear that man is the devil himself. Tobias and I stay home all the time and much of our time together is involved with us both studying or doing work. I quiz Tobias on topics and he does great, but he is still nervous. He tells me this test is oral so there is no going back and changing your answers. Hospital of Dauntless flies doctors from all over the world, that are the best in their fields to test these young doctors out. Form what Tobias tells me the test is mainly oral, but there is a skill section too. Tobias tells me that some lady named Dr. Jeanine Matthews is flying in from London, England to test Tobias. From what Tobias tells me she is a high ranking doctor in general surgery. She developed several new techniques, and she has won many award in the medical field. That alone makes Tobias feel even more stressed about the test. I keep trying to assure him that he will do just fine, but he is worried and stressed out to the maximum.

Time Skip

It is the week of the big test and I haven't really seen Tobias. All the attendings at the hospital gave the residents the week off to study. Tobias has been over at Zeke and Shauna's apartment the whole week studying nonstop with them. He texts me every once in a while, and I will shoot him a text back. I only text him if he initiates something first because I don't want to distract him from his studying. I have been staying busy at the house cleaning when I am not at clinical. I have been doing other chores around the house.

Eric is once again back to his antics of making harassing comments to me. He has even come so far as coming up to the unit to talk to me. I try to ignore him, but he continues. I would tell Tobias, but I know he is busy studying and I don't want to add more stress to his situation. Tori has even noticed Eric coming up to the unit. Eric keeps asking me out to dinner, and he keeps telling me how good I look, and how he would love to show me how I deserve to be treated. Some how Eric has gotten my phone number and is now texting me things that makes my stomach turn. I ignore his texts and delete them, but he still keeps texting me provocative things. I want to tell Tobias, but I don't want Tobias to get into a fight with Eric and risk losing everything he has worked so hard for over me. I can't bare the thought of that happening to him. Becoming a doctor has been his dream since he was a little boy, and I will not be the reason that it doesn't happen.

Time Skip

The kitten has grown up into a beautiful cat. He really is more like a dog than a cat. He is always so happy when he sees me walk through the door. When I am not doing chores around the house or doing homework for Marcus. I catch up on spending time with Chris. We talk about things that would probably make Tobias gag. I tell Chris about Eric and everything he has been saying to me, and how he has been giving me the creeps. She talks me into telling Tobias about it. I plan on telling Tobias after his exam when he will be hopefully less stressed.

Our clinical groups gets together for dinner that night, and we go to a local Mexican Restaurant. I have tacos which taste amazing. I wish Tobias was here with me because I know how much he loves tacos, but I know he is busy studying. Christina and I talk about our plans to go to the movies this weekend. We plan on going to see a romantic comedy that she has been dying to see, but Will refuses to go see it with her. I agree to go with her as I think that the leading man is good looking. After dinner our group splits apart and I return back to the house and get ready for bed. The next morning I wake up nervous. I am not nervous for myself, but I am nervous for Tobias because today is the big day. I text Tobias that morning wishing him luck, and telling him that I will see him after his test. I spend the day on the unit and then in the afternoon Tori sends me down to x-ray to go with a few patients. I internally groan because that will mean I am stuck with Eric for the rest of the day.

"Well. Well. Look what we have here?" I hear Eric say.

I roll my eyes and continue walking into the x-ray room. "Tris you look hot today. Where is that boyfriend of yours? I haven't seen him around lately. Couldn't handle being a doctor and quit?" Eric says smirking at me.

I laugh sarcastically. "Actually Eric. Four has a big test today, and his attending gave him the week off to study for it." I say.

Eric makes a comment under his breath about how he would be so much better for me than Four.

I try to ignore the comments, and it is getting really hard to bite my tongue with everything he is saying to me. He isn't talking just about Four, but he is making sexual comments at me, and I don't appreciate it nor do I like it one bit. There are finally no more patients for the day, and I go to leave to find the door locked. "Eric let me out will you? I need to leave to go back up to the unit." I say.

"No. I think I will keep you here all for myself. Oh and don't even try your cellphone because it won't work here in the basement." Eric says

I start to panic and think about everything bad that could happen. Eric says to me "Come on Tris. This could be fun. We could get to know each other better and have a good time."

"I don't think so Eric." I say. "Now call someone to open the door now, and let me out before I verbally and physically assault you."

"Oh please you don't look like you could hurt a fly." He says to me smirking.

"Why does everyone underestimate me." I say.

"Tori will come looking for me if you don't call someone to open this door." I say starting to panic at being locked in this room with Eric.

"Oh I don't think so. You see, I took care of that possibility. I sent one of my assistants to let her know that you weren't feeling good and that you left early. Then I dismissed that worker home early." He says smiling at me with that evil smile of his.

*Trigger warning applies*

He walks closer to me. I try to move, but he grabs my arm and pulls it behind my back. He grabs me by the arm hard and says "Behave Tris, and I will make this easy on you."

I kick him in the groin and run to the door banging on it screaming "help me!"

No one comes. I think to myself this is it, either Eric is going to kill me and cover it up, or he is going to rape me. Eric catches me and presses me hard to the door. "Now what are you going to do you little bitch? I see you like it rough. If you want rough I can give you rough." Eric snears in my ear.

I have tears streaming down my face, but I make no sound. He starts to roughly kiss me and I go limp. He puts his hand up my shirt and squeezes me even though I try to slap his hand away. He restrains both my hands with one of his. I have pretty much resigned defeat when the door slams open and I see a very angry Tobias.

*Trigger warning ends*

Eric ceases his actions. Tobias comes storming over to the scene unfolding in front of him. I can see the rage in his eyes and his hands are balled into fists. I don't think this is Tobias anymore. I think this is Four the soldier.

"Get your hands off her you prick!" Tobias yells. "Don't you ever come near her again if you want to live."

"Four didn't you hear your girlfriend came onto me. Not the other way around."Eric says.

I shout at Eric and say "You are such a liar that is why you are trying to rape me right?"

"Shut up you lying slut." Eric screams.

When Tobias hears the exchange between Eric and me it is like the world has slowed down. I feel a sting to my cheek and I realize that Eric has slapped me. Then suddenly I feel a sharp pain in my stomach and side. I feel myself fall to the ground I feel my head hit the floor and another sharp pain in my back from being kicked. Next I see Tobias running at Eric and take him down. I see Tobias and Eric rolling around on the floor punching each other. Tobias eventually emerges and comes over to me with tears in his eyes. I scan the floor from my position on the floor and notice Eric knocked out on the floor. "Baby are you okay?" he asks. "Did he hurt you?"

"Tobias" I croak "I'm okay. You got here in time. How did you know to find me here?"

He lays my head in his lap and says "I went up on the unit to find you to tell you my good news that I passed my exam and Tori told me she sent you down here, but she said that Eric's assistant told her you had left. I knew you wouldn't leave without me. Christina was also looking for you for something, and when she heard you were down here with Eric her face turned as grey as a ghost. I asked her what was the matter, and she explained about everything that Eric had been doing to you these past few weeks that I have been busy. Why didn't you tell me Tris? Didn't you trust me enough to keep you safe?"

"I was going to, but I didn't want you to worry or distract you. I wanted you to pass your exam." I say

"Anyways after Chris finished telling me everything I knew you were in trouble down here. I had this horrible feeling in the pit of my stomach, and I ran down here as fast I could. I tried the door, and it wouldn't open. It was locked. I kicked the door down. I found you and Eric. I am just thankful that I got here in time." He pulls me close. I feel a sharp pain in my side, and that is the last thing I vision begins to blur.

I say "Tobias I don't."

Suddenly the world around me goes black.
