Chapter 38: I Found Him….. I Think?

AXEL'S POV

I was by the gate waiting for Roxas. It was 8:45 and I was worried about losing our reservation. I knew Roxas wouldn't stand me up and something wasn't sitting right in me. I rushed back to the dorm to find he wasn't there. I checked every room in the house. Nobody was even at the dorm. I sat on the bottom stair and began to text Roxas.

Where r U?

I soon as I sent the message I got a text from Riku.

I need U. Gym. Now. Help.

I rushed to the gym thinking Roxas was hurt or in danger. When I got there Sora was screaming in pain on the floor while Riku held him.

"What's going on?"

"I-I don't know. Everything was fine then he shouted like he was shot and hasn't stopped since." Riku said looking worriedly on at Sora

"Make it stop! I don't want it! I don't want it!" Sora shout while thrashing.

"Want what? Sora calm down breath what's wrong." I said as I knelt to his side.

"It won't stop. It hurts. It's so bad." Tears where coming out of his eyes. He looked so distressed.

"What hurts? Where?"

"My- GAAAHAHH!" Sora let out a death rattle so loud my ears felt like they were bleeding. His eyes began to twitch then he passed out.

"Sora? Sora! SORA!" Riku shouted as he began to shake Sora violently.

"Riku! Stop. That won't help." I said sternly. What was going on? "He's still breathing. We need to get him to the hospital."

Sora gasp and sat up quickly from Riku's lap. "Roxas!"

"What? What about Roxas?" I questioned quickly and worriedly.

"Sora are you okay? What was that? You scared the shit out of me." Riku said still in panic.

"I'm fine. Where is Roxas?" Sora asked me to which I had no answer besides a look of dumbfoundedness. "He's hurt. I know he is."

"How do you know? Have you talked to him?" I asked frantically.

"No. I just- twin stuff. Trust me. We need to find him." Sora said seriously. I had nothing else to go off of, so I had to trust in whatever feeling Sora had.

"Okay I'll go get Zexion and Demyx to help. You guys start looking." I said turning and heading out.

"No!" Sora shouted stopping me. "I mean you go look we'll get Dem and Zex."

"O-Okay." I said once again turning to leave. I figured I'd start at the auditorium. I just had to find him.

SORA'S POV

"Do you need my help." Riku asked me as he stood over me with his hand outstretched. I took his hand and he pulled me up into a tight warming hug. "You can never scare me like that again. I need you Sora. If I lose you I'll-I'll die."

"Shh. I'm fine. Don't worry. I'd never leave you that easily." I said then gave him a soft kiss. "Now, come on. I need to find my brother. " I said breaking the embrace. I texted Demyx to meet me at the dorm with Zexion as soon as possible.

Riku and I began heading toward the dorm and as we walked I felt a dual pain in my side. I knew this feeling but a million times worst. The feeling of intrusiveness. The unwanted feeling of someone in the most extreme way. I'd never wish the physical or mental pain on anyone not even someone like Seifer, but especially not Roxas. I wasn't able to pull myself out of it. I need Riku. Now Roxas. He'd be a wreck I just hoped he'd still be okay. Alive. My brother was being raped and I couldn't stop it quick enough.

When we got there Demyx and Zexion were already there.

"What's going on?" Demyx questioned.

"Roxas's is missing. He's in trouble." I answered

"Why are you guy always getting lost? Where do you think he is?"

"He's close. Somewhere on campus."

"Are you sure he's missing then? Maybe he's just doing something." Zexion suggested.

"He's in trouble!" I shouted. "I-I'm sorry. I'm just freaking out. Please help me?" I begged.

"Okay. Don't worry we'll find him. Where should we start?" Demyx asked just as Axel texted me.

Not at auditorium. Checking teacher building.

I thought why of all places would Roxas be there, but I suppose it was better to be safe than sorry. I couldn't afford to be sorry when it came to Roxas. "Axel said he's not in the auditorium." I relayed.

"So what's the plan?" Riku asked.

"I think you two should stay here in case he comes back." I said to Zexion and Demyx.

"Are you sure?" Riku asked me.

"Yeah. I want all bases covered."

"We'll let you if he shows up then. Good luck, I suppose." Zexion said looking more worried than he seemed to be acting.

Riku turned and gave me a look of 'what now?'. "All the school buildings are locked now right?" I asked.

"Yeah….. Besides the auditorium and Cafeteria." Riku answered.

"Let's go check the Cafeteria then." I didn't wait for a response before turning and jogging towards the brick buildings.

I had to find him.

AXEL'S POV

I'd swore to myself that if that weirdo had done anything to Roxas I'd kill him.

I was running down a hall toward Mr. Kowai's living quarters telling myself not to get angry till I knew forsure that Roxas wasn't okay. Maybe Roxas was just talking to the weirdo. Why? I don't know, but I was think of worst scenarios.

I knocked rapidly on the wooden door with the silver plaque that read 'Kowai'. It opened with quickly with a gust of wind. "Mr. Pawā? What brings you by at this hour?" Mr. Kowai said. He seemed to be in his sleepwear and a robe, which seemed like inappropriate clothing to wear if Roxas was in there.

"Uh… I'm not even sure of the time actually." I said half halfheartedly as I attempted to peer into the the room.

"It's nearly 11:30… and by your snooping gaze I can tell you didn't come to ask me the time." He said opening the door fully, and motioning for me to come in. I walked into the, too posh to be at a high school even if it was a boarding school, room. "So what really brings you by? Can I get you something? Tea? Water?" He asked as he sat on a red velvet chair.

"No, I was just wondering if Roxas was still here. I know he said he was coming to see you and we were suppose to go somewhere and he's not anywhere else I've checked."

"Actually…" He began, but was stopped by the sound of a door that came from the hall.

"Is everything here expensive as fuck?" Came a harsh voice followed by the appearances of Roxas.

"Roxas?" I said first shocked by his vulgar language, especially around our teacher, and second questioning if it was really him. His presence was off. If I hadn't seen it him I wouldn't have known that voice belonged to him. His eyes were a weird dark set purple. Everything was just slightly off about him, but I thought maybe I was over reacting, and maybe he was wearing contacts.

"What?" He said giving me a very unhappy look.

"I-I've been looking for you…" I said taken aback by his harsh tone.

"Well you found me. Want a cookie?" He gave me a roll of his eyes as he flopped down oh the loveseat in the room

"You kinda stood me up…"

"It's not like it was a date." He sneered and chuckled. "Besides I was having an important conversation with teach here."

"About what?"

"None of your goddamn business, you fucking snoop!"

"It is late Roxas you should get back to your dorm. We can talk over this subject more after break." Mr. Kowai tone was stern, but slightly sickening.

"Really? I'd like to talk deeper on the matter." Roxas said changing his tone much sweeter toward Mr. Kowai. This was not only awkward, but sickening. Was he flirting? And was Mr. Kowai accepting it? I felt completely baffled and lost. "Goodbye, sir." he waved to Mr. Kowai and turned to me. "Let's go Aron."

"Axel." I corrected him as we left.

"Whatever." He rolled his weirdly purple eyes and stretched as we walked down the hall. "I'm starving. Get me something to eat would you?"

"What?! Roxas hold on." I stopped him and took a really good look at him. "What's going on? You are acting strange and your eyes are weird. Are those contacts or something?"

"What are you talking about?" He said blinked and looked piercingly into my eyes. "Look again, dumbass." His eyes were back to their original color and I felt crazy.

"What? I'm confused." I stammered.

"Yeah, Cause you're stupid. Now food. Go. Hurry up. I want pizza extra cheese or you'll be on your knees." He gave me a flick of his finger and walked off toward the exit. This was too weird.

I ordered a pizza and texted Sora.

I found him. I think.

A/N: Hi guys! So I know long wait for such a short chapter, but I needed a transition chapter. Anyway for you information I don't plan on explaining exactly what happened between Roxas and Mr. Kowai after last chapter so if you want to know I can type it up and post it as a one shot kinda thing or we can leave it mysterious. I'll make a poll. ALSO! We approach our 3 year mark for this story and I will (try my best) to have a chapter published that week. Well till next time...
