"JARVIS I need you to hack into all the lights and make us get to my lab faster!" orders Tony as he slowly flies alongside Bucky and looks behind them to see Bruce and Ward switch off on who carries the still unconscious Natasha Romanoff. They get into a black abandoned SUV, Bucky had Skye on his lap while Ward took the Drivers seat and Banner took the passenger seat letting Natasha lay curled up in the two remaining seats. Stark took off and Ward pushed the SUV into drive and took off at full speed following the man in the Iron suit.

They arrived at a lab thirty minutes later, Bucky jumped from the SUV Skye in his arms as he exclaimed "She's not breathing!" upon hearing that revelation Banner ran from the car and began checking Skye for a pulse, he growled "We are loosing her! Stark where in the lab do we need to take her?" he said looking to the billionaire who promptly responded " Sixth floor I called ahead and a full blown trusted medical staff is awaiting our arrival." Bucky nods before running into the building Skye in his arms as he ran up the five flights of stairs before Ward , Banner and Stark with Natasha could get the elevator to start moving.

Stark was waiting for them as Bucky flew through the door with Skye in his arms "She isn't breathing!" he exclaimed once again and immediately a medical team swarmed him and pulled Skye from his arms much to his protest. Skye was laid on a flat hospital bed and the medical team began chest compressions as they hooked her up to a monitor. Ward and Banner came in a few minutes later and set Natasha on another hospital bed before Banner walked off to assist the medical team helping Skye while Ward, Bucky and Tony all watched from the sidelines in worry. They end up having to restart her heart a total of four times within two hours, Doctor Banner finally approaches them with a solemn face.

Ward immediately stiffens upon realizing that whatever Banner was going to say it wasn't good. "Agent Skye has suffered extensive injuries that to be honest I can't quite understand how she stayed conscious even to unleash that wave that killed all those aliens. Her side was never fully healed and that put a deep strain on her body while she fought, she has two broken bones... Her shin and a broken rib that she is lucky didn't puncture a lung. She also has a hair line fracture in her left cheek bone and deep cuts and bruises fill her entire body. But that's not the bad news... We had to restart her heart four times in the two hours we have been here. She didn't have oxygen to the brain for approximately 3.8 minutes and from the looks of the scans on her brain it's highly possible that if she wakes up she will have severe brain damage, in addition to that I took another test to determine how much energy is within to see a time frame on when she could possibly wake up... She is at point zero seven percent." he says with a frown making the remaining three go impassive and stiff as driftwood.

Tony was the first to hesitantly ask "If she is at point zero seven percent what is the time frame for her waking up? A week?" everyone looks to Dr. Banner who is now looking at his clipboard to hide his expression, before he cleared his throat and replied "Her energy needs to be at a minimum of twenty percent before she could even start to heal her self... When she last died her energy was at seventy five percent and she was out for several hours and her wounds were not as severe as this. Medically speaking if she was a normal human I would say she could reach consciousness in a month if we put her into a medically induced coms to give her body a chance to heal but from her biology and what I have experienced from her powers... Unless she some how manages to heal herself completely on her own in the next two weeks... She may never ever wake up again. Healing Romanoff drained her." Tony shakes his head as he says "Actually she healed us all... Look at all of us we have no cuts or bruises and other then the fact of being dirty, sore and tired we have no injuries... I think that wave healed all humans and killed all the aliens. Sapphire saved us all."

Everyone remains silent before Ward asked "Can we see her?" Bruce nodded and immediately the three men walked quietly to the small room that Skye had been wheeled into to give her some peace and quiet. The Avengers along with homeland security, NSA, FBI and CIA all worked together to help clean up the effected area in LA, alien bodies were confiscated and all alien technology was confiscated by the military under Cornel Talbot. After twelve hours Steve and the remaining members left LA and was quick to meet up with the rest who were at Starks lab.

Steve, Ward, Clint never left Skye's bedside other then to relieve themselves, before long Natasha woke up with a loud frightened gasp of air making everyone spin around to the red head and rush over to her. "Nat!" Exclaimed Clint helping her sit up, "Clint? What happened? Where is Skye?" she asked looking at all the Avengers now crowded around her. instantly all the Avengers split so she could see Skye unconscious on a hospital bed across from her, Natasha's eyes widen as she sprung from the bed and rushed to her trainees side while shouting "Oh my god! What happened to her!?" she was checking over Skye for extreme injuries while everyone silently told Steve to speak for the rest of them.

Steve cleared his throat "Skye took out the entire Kree armada once her father died a unimaginable rage took over her and her full powers were unleashed. When she was finished destroying them she was drained but you were dying no medical aid could get to you in time... You stopped breathing for a few seconds and Skye made the choice to heal you over keeping herself alive. She said that it was her choice and that family help family." Natasha's eyes widen in shock as well as horror that her trainee would sacrifice so much for Earth and their family, "She shouldn't of done that... It's not her place to protect all of us it should be the other way around, we trained her and there fore we should've protected her." she said remorsefully when all of a sudden the building began to shake.
