Right, this will be the last chapter of the story and then the epilogue, so let's get to the story.

Chapter 35

As Spyro and the others flew towards the ruined tower upon Dragun and the Eluvian where, as they approach Spyro looked down and saw Dark and Shadow entering the base of the tower.

"How are we meant to stop Dragun when we get there?" Leo asked wondering how they were going to stop him.

"All you guys have to do is hold off any minions that Dragun has and I will deal with Dragun." Spyro replied looking back at his friend.

"Spyro, you know what will happen when you run out of time?" Ignitus said flying close to his son so no-one else could hear them.

"I know, but there are somethings in this world that are worth that risk." Spyro replied looking at Cynder.

Cut To Dragun

As Dragun entered the Eluvian he felt power course though him and as his claws dug into the dark purple crystal below his feet.

"This power is incredible!" Dragun shouted as his eyes glowed purple with the power.

Dragun looked around to find what he truly wanted and then suddenly he saw it.

"There it is, The Chaos Crystal." Dragun spoke looking at a pure black crystal that seems to radiate energy and power.

Cut To Spyro

As Spyro and the others touched down atop the tower, Dark and Shadow came through a trap door located behind them.

"So this is it, the final battle?" Dark spoke looking at Spyro whom was standing next to him.

"Yeah, this is it, but as long as we have each other we can't lose." Spyro spoke trying to inspire the others.

Cut To Dragun

As Dragun approached the crystal he feels someone or something pull at his mind then he heard a dark voice in his mind.

"Who disturbs me?" The voice spoke the malice and cruelty that could be heard from behind it.

"Who dare speak freely before me?" Dragun replied seemingly to no-one until he saw an unexpected sight.

Cut To Spyro

"So what is the plan here, Spyro?" Dark asked looking at him hoping for a successful plan of action.

"I will enter the Eluvian, find Dragun and finish this." Spyro replied looking towards the portal.

"But I meant, what about us?" Dark spoke and as he finished as almost to answer the question, the group heard a roar of apes coming from behind the portal and rush towards them.

"Well I guess that answers your question doesn't it." Shadow said sarcastically and run towards the horde, ready to fight them head on.

"Go Spyro, we can hold them off, but just return safely to us." Yuki spoke to her son whom nodded in response and flew towards the portal.

Cut To Dragun

The Chaos stone began to glow and emit a thick black mist upwards then the mist began to take shape of a large dragon.

"I am Malefor." The avatar spoke as Dragun was taken aback by this development.

"Malefor? So the rumours are true, you're still yet live." Dragun spoke to Malefor avatar.

"I do, imprisoned by that wretched purple dragon." Dragun spoke the angry and hatred evident in his voice.

"Can you be freed?" Dragun asked hoping to free the true purple dragon.

"Only the one who imprisoned me can free me." Malefor replied seeing Dragun nodding in understanding.

Cut To Spyro

Spyro entered the portal and as he landed on the dark purple crystal, he felt a unexplainable feeling of evil and malice as he walked slowly forward he could hear faint voices, but they were not loud enough to understand what they were saying so he crept closer and saw someone he wished he would never see again.

"Malefor." Spyro whispered looking at the avatar of the dragon he defeated so long ago began to fade back into the crystal.

"I know you're there, Spyro." Dragun spoke turning around to be greeted by the purple dragon emerging from behind a shard of crystal.

"It is time to end this, Dragun." Spyro spoke as he glared at Dragun as he breathed in preparing to fight.

"Yes, it is time to end this." Dragun said then as soon as he finished as he breathed fire towards the young purple dragon; this caused Spyro to counter it with ice the force in which the elements clashed together which caused an explosion and knock both dragons back only to have them leap at each other and clash with a loud smash.

Cut To The Guardians

As Ignitus and the others fought on against the apes which seemed to have no end in sight.

"Ignitus, we can't keep this up forever!" Auron shouted at him from behind.

"I know, but we must hold on until Spyro is done!" Ignitus replied looking over his shoulder.

As the battle continued on, all of the Guardians and young dragons fought the hordes of apes hoping that Spyro would return victorious.

Cut To Dragun & Spyro

As the battle continued on, Spyro knew that he was running out of time, but then he also remembered that Dragun cast a similar spell upon himself early than he did so it would wear off soon.

Dragun could sense the spell he placed on himself beginning to fade and weaken, but he also knew that Malefor might arise if Spyro hit the crystal with his Divine Fury which came from him being a purple dragon.

As the two exchanged a fury of elemental blasts causing multiple explosions and bursts of light then suddenly they stopped as Spyro began to glow this was the moment that Dragun was waiting for.

Cut To The Guardians

As Ignitus and the others battled on the knew that this had to end one way or the other, and even though there where seventeen dragons this was impossible, but Ignitus knew he must never give up hope.

"Ignitus we need to bottleneck them, could we use the temple gates?" Bane spoke melting enemies with his poison flames.

"No I will not have them inside my home!" Ignitus replied looking back at him with a profound glare.

"We won't have much of a home if we lose this battle or if we die!" Blaze shouted looking at Ignitus whom stared back before nodding.

"Everyone move into the temple now!" Ignitus shouted so everyone could hear him everyone shouted back and began to move inside the temple.

Cut To Spyro

Dragun stood in front of the chaos crystal ready to dodge as Spyro began to glow ready to release his divine fury and then it happened.

Immense light flew out of Spyro's body and formed an avatar of his face and it came rushing towards Dragun, but he was quicker and dodged and watched as the power smashed into the chaos stone and shattered it releasing Malefor from his prison and torment.

"Ahh… freedom from that infernal prison." Malefor spoke looking at Spyro who seemed to have been drained of his energy.

"Time for me to leave and destroy the world, Spyro." Malefor said looking at Spyro as he stood in front of the portal to leave.

"I won't let you leave you will never harm the world nor the people I love." Images of Cynder as well as all his family and friends flashed though his mind.

"And if I have to stay trapped here with you forever, then so be it I'll endure the exile anything to protect her." Spyro said as his eyes and his entire body began to glow white.
