Hey guys! Yet another chapter for you!
The facts in this chapter are confirmed by me (aka the Internet XD)
Anyway, enjoy!
"Percy! Look at the new facts book I got!" Annabeth said happily.
Every other month, Annabeth came back from the mall with a useless fact book.
She would march around camp with that dreaded book and tell people usless facts (quote the title Useless Facts Volume 12), until people paid Percy to steal her book.
"Great." muttered Percy, way to focused on making his layup than her book.
"I know, right? Did you know that more than 45% of the population has an "a" name?" Annabeth said, reading from the book.
"Cool." Percy said, throwing the ball in. Swish!
"I know, right? See you at lunch!" Annabeth skipped away.
People groaned as Annabeth skipped past, gazing happily at her new book.
"Is it that time again?"
"Let me get my asprin."
"Someone get Percy and their wallet."
"Where are my earplugs?"
"Quick, run!"
Annabeth ignored these comments and walked over to Zeus's Fist.
Thalia and Nico were there, talking.
Thalia waved at Annabeth.
"Hey Annabeth. Where is-NO!" Thalia screamed, pulling herself and a weirded out Nico with her.
Annabeth frowned. That was odd.
Didn't people like her facts? Didn't they think they were interesting?
She shrugged and skipped on.
At least Percy liked them. That was good, even if everyone else in camp didn't.
At lunch, everyone at the Athena table chattered loudly, trying to block out the noise of Annabeth's fact book.
"Did you guys know that apples have more caffeine than soda?" Annabeth said.
Not bothering to check if anyone was listening, she rattled off another one.
"Did you know that of you breath the air in Beijing, it has the same health risks as smoking 21 packs of cigarettes?" Annabeth rattled off.
The table spoke even louder.
In the afternoon, Annabeth was making her daily fact rounds, when she was stopped.
"Annabeth, we all joined here today, because we need to stay sane. Because we love you." Percy said.
Annabeth looked around. There was Travis, Katie, Conner, Thalia, Nico, Juniper and Grover.
"What? What's going on?" Annabeth said.
"I'm afraid we need to confiscate your book." Percy said.
"What? No!" Annabeth clutched the book to her chest.
"Annabeth, we need this to be a violent-free zone. Please, make this easy on all of us, and hand over the book." Thalia asked.
Annabeth studied the crowd. She could probably make it past the Stolls and Katie, and Percy. Juniper and Grover were no problem.
But Thalia and Nico would catch her. It was no use.
She tried anyway.
She pushed past Percy and Travis, and swiveled past Juniper and Grover, but Conner, Thalia, and Nico made a wall.
They surrounded her again.
"Fine." Annabeth said. She handed it to Percy.
"Thank you. Now, there is a whole pint of Rocky Road in the Big House's fridge. You wanna watch a movie?" asked Percy.
"No. I need time to be alone." Annabeth said.
Percy hugged her, and walked away, the others following.
Annabeth ran for her cabin, grabbing some money.
The next day, Annabeth had a new fact book. A different kind of fact book.
"Ke$hia sends her dogs droppings to her enemies for Christmas." Annabeth said.
People ran from her. Again.
"Oh come ON!" Annabeth stamped her foot.
She ran into Percy.
She sighed.
"I know you miss them." Percy said.
"Can I have them back?" Annabeth said hopefully.
"NO."
Hope that was cute and fluffy and all that. Make sure you brush your teeth, lock your doors and all that. Review!
