Loki

Loki tried to avoid her eyes. It was easy to respond Frigga and Odin with defiance and arrogance. They deserved what they got, they were liars after all. But Loki had another plan which was more important than ever now that Serena was named a Vanir. If someone thought she was guilty of conspiring with him, she would have to be judged by Asen and Vanir laws.

„Oh I see you brought my little toy here. How kind of you." Loki leered at Serena and saw the spark of surprise in her eyes.

„Loki." Odin said, staring daggers at him. „You're here to be punished for your crimes in Midgard."

-„What crimes? I only put into action what you told me my hole life. I was born to be a king, so I took my right to rule over Midgard." Loki explained smiling. He ignored Serena trying to reach him mentally.

-„You really believe you are right. You should thank Frigga, if it wasn't for her you would be dead now. Therefore you shall be imprisoned for the rest of your life."

Odin's sentence was no surprise to him, it was surely better than death. But he didn't need a magical connection to Serena to feel her resistance.
-„Lady Serena. Tell me what happened to you so that Loki can be punished by your Uncle as well for his crimes. Although some suspect you deliberately worked with him."

-„So do I." Everyone stared to the door. Njörd walked in and Loki had almost laughed. The man was still ridiculously hurt in his pride „Please, Allfather, all I demand is a fair judgment. We don't want Lady Serena to be Loki's ally. It would be so painful for all of us."

Freya cuffed and turned her head away from her husband. Loki had always loved the interaction between those two. Like cat and dog and very entertaining for everyone who watched. Unluckily, Njörd was not helpful when it came to Serena.

-„Lady Serena. Now tell us."

Serena stepped forward and cleared her throat.

-„As S.H.I.E.L.D – Agent I was called when my brother Taylor was kidnapped and of course I immediately tried to help him. I found him with Loki and his allies." She stopped.

On the one hand, she wanted to tell the truth and protect herself. But in the other, she didn't want to influence Loki's fate. Loki decided to help. „She's a pretty little thing, isn't she. And a king need very capable subjects. Capable In every matter. So tell me Freya, who is better than your charming daughter?"

Odin ignored him and Freya swallowed. Loki knew she was smart enough to understand what game he was playing. She was aware of the truth.

-„And then you decided to help him?" Odin asked Serena.

-„No! No, I didn't. But Loki gave me a choice: my surrender or my brother's death."

-„That's all you need to make stupid mortals swear an oath." Loki added.

Pointing out she was bound with an magical oath made her look even more innocent.

-„He almost killed her." Freya said quietly. „Indeed. I almost did." Loki agreed.

-„Heimdall said she's innocent." Frigga's words made Freya widen her eyes in surprise for less than a second. Heimdall not telling the hole truth was definitely interesting.

The truth was, Serena had acted in consequence of his blackmailing, but she was the one letting him go on the Helicarrier. She was the one kissing him more than once which could be easily interpreted as ‚deliberately working with the enemy´. But Frigga's words were the most effective of all.

-„Lady Serena, you are free of any accusations. What do you want for his punishment?" Odin said and Njörds happy expression faded. Freya on the other side looked like she wanted to stick her tongue out to her husband.

Serena thought a moment. „What else can I add to the cruel punishment he has already received? Lock him up for ever and you will truly lose your son."
-„HE'S NOT MY SON - " „I'M NOT HIS SON!" Odin and Loki yelled almost simultaneously.

-„What ever he is, I believe there's a chance for him to change. But not alone in a prison cell"

Serena's eyes sparkled and her voice was steady. Loki couldn't help but feel proud for her determination.

-„As much as I admire your courage, I think this subject is none of your matter anymore, Lady Serena." Odin said, and Loki immediately recognized the threat in his voice.

Serena seemed to understand it was well. „As you which, Allfather."

Loki smiled to himself. Their time together had made very clear that his was just temporary back down. Serena would not give up that easily but make everyone believe she did so.

As the guards guided Loki away, he tried not to stare at Serena. He would see her soon anyway.

So this is finally Loki's judgement. I hope you enjoyed this chapter and I can't wait to hear your opinion :) It's very similar to the Thor 2 movie, but I planned it this way before :D
