The lost boys had found an old camp site in the woods. Felix had vague memories of Freddy as a young boy spending a summer at the camp before it was closed for a refurbishment that never happened. Since it didn't seem to belong to anyone, the boys claimed it for themselves. There were several cabins that were set out in two lines opposite each other. A large fire pit with logs set up as seats was in a small clearing at the end of the row of cabins and further down a little dirt path was the river with a small deck and one small boat tied to it.

Felix was certain Pan would be pleased. Spray can in hand Felix marked the door of the best cabin with a black X. That one would belong to Pan. The cabin next to it Felix sprayed a circle for himself and on the other side of his cabin he sprayed a star for the girls. It made sense for the girls to share, although he doubted Tink would leave her apartment, Tigerlilly and Wendy however had no where else to go.

The lost boys were stood in a line waiting patiently for Felix to finish. Once he was done marking the doors he gave them a single nod and the boys raced off to fight over which cabin was theirs.

Turning to his left Felix could see Tigerlilly sat by the fire pit. She looked miserable as she attempted to get a fire going.

'You want some help?' Felix asked her. Tigerlilly looked up at him in surprise. She shrugged her shoulders and continued rubbing two sticks together.

'Why did we have to come here?' Felix asked grabbing two sticks of his own.

'I don't know.' Tigerlilly muttered. 'I just know that this was where we were meant to be.'

They worked in silence for a while, both lost in thought. Eventually Tigerlilly's sticks began smoking. Felix smirked as his too caught fire. There was something satisfying about doing it the way they'd of done it back at home.

'Who needs matches!' Felix said smugly. Tigerlilly smiled shyly. They continued in silence as they positioned the wood and watched as a steady fire began to burn.

'When will we return to Neverland?' Felix asked. Tigerlilly frowned. She stared into the flames and considered her answer.

'Not for a while yet. The home office will tell us when.' She said, her voice lacked emotion and Felix recognised the dazed expression on her face.

'The home office?' Felix asked. Tigerlilly turned to face him, her eyes clouded over.

'They will take us home.' She said. 'And we shall see the his true power.'

'Whose true power?' Felix frowned as she continued to look through him as if he wasn't there.

'The Shadow man.'

'You want me to leave Storybrooke?' Wendy repeated in disbelief.

'It's not safe for us Wendy, not with Cora here.' Jefferson glanced nervously around them.

'But I'm so close.' Wendy said. Her words drew Jefferson's eyes to hers.

'She won't see it that way.' Jefferson said. 'And besides could you really do it after all this time? I've seen you do many things little Wendy bird, but I don't believe you're capable of hurting him like this.' Jefferson stated. Wendy frowned at him and folded her arms.

'It's a fate worse than death.' Jefferson added softly when she didn't speak. Wendy broke eye contact and her frown deepened as she stared across the road aimlessly.

'Didn't you poison him?' She asked. 'Didn't you try to put him in a sleeping curse, a fate worse than death!'

'He loves you.' Jefferson said ignoring the question.

'He doesn't know how to love.' Wendy spat. The pained expression on her face betrayed her and Jefferson gave a deep sigh.

'You should go.' Wendy said quietly. Jefferson moved towards her and placed a hand on her arm.

'If it's what you really want, I will stay to help.' Jefferson said.

'You have to protect Grace so don't even think of staying because of me.' Wendy said sternly. She stared at him fiercely.

Jefferson glanced at Granny's and then back to Wendy. He frowned but nodded his head.

'You know how to find me?' He asked. Wendy nodded her head.

'Go now Hatter, before Cora finds out you're here.'

'I'm so sorry little bird.' Jefferson muttered as he began to move away. 'You never should have had this life.'

'Your friend would have been executed for his betrayal.' Cora said, her voice void of any emotion. 'Luckily for him, I want something from him.'

Wendy was following Cora down a narrow corridor. Flickering her wrist Cora unlocked a door to her left and the door swung open by itself. Stepping aside she gestured for Wendy to enter.

The small room was filled with hundreds of hats, all piled on top of each other. At the back against the cold stone wall, under a small barred window was a small wooden table and a figure hunched over it.

'Jefferson?' Wendy said. The hatter turned to face her but his face showed no signs of recognition. His legs were chained to the table legs. His eyes were blood shot, his skin pale and he had dark circles under his eyes.

He turned away from her, muttering something under his breath. Wendy looked back to Cora who merely shook her head.

'Jefferson it's me, it's Wendy.' She hastily made her way over to him, kneeling down beside him. She rested one hand on the table and the other on his arm.

'Hatter?' She said. He turned to look at her. For a second Wendy thought she'd gotten through to him, but he just stared at her blankly. Wendy watched as Hatter frantically returned to his work, sewing a deep red ribbon around a black top hat. His hands were violently shaking and he struggled to press his needle into the black fabric. Wendy gently placed her hands over his. Taking the needle from him she reached for the hat and began to finish the job. He eyed her curiously.

Wendy could feel the Queen's eyes trained on her as she carefully finished off the stitching and neatly snipped the thread. Smiling she went to hand the hat back to Jefferson but found him thrusting a feather into her free hand. Silently she nodded and began fastening it to the hat. They continued like this for several minutes, Hatter passing her various small objects until the Hatter deemed the hat finished and carefully took the hat from her with both hands and spun it on the desk. It wobbled but barely made a full turn before stopping.

'No, no, no, no, no, no.' Jefferson cried out. He threw the hat at the wall narrowly missing Wendy's head. It was then he seemed to really notice her.

'Little Wendy bird?' He tilted his head to one side and stared at her intently.

'It's me.' Wendy replied. 'Jefferson it's me.'

Jefferson shook his head, his bloodshot eyes filling up with tears. Wendy reached out to caress his cheek.

'I'm here.' Wendy whispered.

'You can't be here.' Jefferson choked on his words. He glanced up and caught sight of the Queen who was casually stood in the doorway, her hands clasped together in front of her.

'She can't be here!' He screamed at the Queen. Cora smiled smugly.

'She was foretold Hatter.' Cora said. 'She is to be my champion, and there is nothing you or Peter Pan can do about it.'

Wendy was half way through the open window when someone knocked on the front door. Surprised Wendy jumped and smacked her head on the window frame. Quickly scampering to her feet she discreetly rubbed her head as Peter stirred.

Unaware she was ever gone, Peter yawned and sleepily walked over to the door. Behind it stood Felix.

'Pan.' He greeted. Yawning again, Peter let go of the door and wandered back into the apartment and headed straight to the kitchen.

'Coffee?' He asked the taller boy. Felix shook his head. Peter turned to Wendy who nodded her head.

'Tea please.' She said. Peter filled the kettle with water and placed it on the hob.

'Well?' Peter asked. Felix cleared his throat and glanced at Wendy before looking back to Peter.

'We've taken over Fort Wilderness.' Felix said.

'The old camp site near the river?' Wendy asked. She had memories of being there, blurry faded images of a time Sally was there as a child. She squeezed her eyes shut. They weren't her memories, and yet they swam around her head making her head hurt.

She could remember jumping in the lake on a hot summer's day and listening to ghost stories by a fire at night, but the memories were fuzzy like she knew they happened but she couldn't remember them happening. She felt like she couldn't breathe.

'Wendy?' Peter's voice brought her back into the room and she opened her eyes to find that Peter had moved right in front of her. He looked at her in concern.

'I'm fine.' Wendy said in between deep breaths, her cheeks flushed in embarrassment.

'You'll get used to it.' Peter replied. 'The other voice, the memories of someone else. You'll find a way to separate her from you.'

The kettle began to let out a high pitched whistle and Peter moved to switch off the hob and move the kettle to one side. Wendy and Felix stared a look before switching their attention back to Peter.

'There's more.' Felix said uninterested in Wendy's internal struggle. 'Tigerlilly spoke of the Home Office.'

'The Home Office?' Peter repeated. He'd heard that name somewhere before. Peter opened the fridge to fetch the milk. He paused, his right hand on the open fridge door and the other clutching the milk carton.

'They sent me the book.' Peter muttered.

'What?' Wendy asked.

'What book?' Felix stood a subconscious step closer to where Peter was stood.

Peter said nothing at first. He closed the fridge door and continued to make the hot drinks.

'Henry's book.' He finally said handing Wendy her cup. He rolled his eyes impatiently as the other two continued to look confused. Rather than explain Peter sighed tiredly.

'What else did Tigerlilly say?' He asked.

'She said they'd take us back to Neverland.' Felix informed him. 'She said they'd take us back and then…' He paused.

'And then?' Peter gestured with his hand to continue.

'And then we'd see your true power.' Felix said.

Wendy focused on her tea silently. She could read Tigerlilly's visions much better than the boys. While the boys saw victory in the Princess' words, a sign that Peter's magic would return in full, Wendy only saw a warning, a warning of what was to come.

'Well, is she broken?' Hook asked as he watched Regina walk down the road from Granny's.

'Not yet.' Cora replied smiling. In the darkness up on the roof top, the pair had watched Regina and Emma exchange words outside the diner unnoticed.

'And Pan?' Hook asked.

'Almost, they both just need a little push.' Cora's smile widened.
