Oh my god guys... I'm no ready! I AM NOT FRIGGING READY!

October 16.

The baby was kicking non-stop. They were happy kicks of course, but they kept kicking like they couldn't wait to leave the womb and come into the world to join Mommy and Daddy. Marley and Ryder felt the exact same way. They couldn't wait until the small child growing inside of Marley came into their lives and the family began. Well that is a family with a baby, since they included their dogs as the family too.

Marley had eaten a lot more and has had less purging moments. She's been out a few times but not too many either as her feet would hurt and her swollen ankles would hurt after a while. She wasn't exactly on bed rest, but she had to rest when possible. It wasn't too hard at work since she had managed to sneak in a small foot rest stand to rest her feet at an angle. Not the best, but close enough.

She had spoken to Avery a few times here and there. Walter has been going mad at work. Everyone was on edge in every single department and five people had already quit work just to be away from Walter. Marley wasn't surprised about that too. She had actually thought about quitting there once she found another job that she would feel much more comfortable. But that was only after she had the baby and had some sort of schedule sorted out. And if she and Ryder could make a schedule that left one of them home with their baby.

Ryder had his interview tomorrow with the woman at Little Town Ohio. He had it around nine in the morning and if all went well Ryder would be told if he got the job or not within three days of being hired. He was friends with a couple of his old co-workers and one of them had a friend, who's girlfriend had a friend, who's brother worked at Little Town Ohio and he already knows a couple of things about the job. Six days a week, Sundays off, Nineteen dollars an hour (eleven hours), five dollars for over-time. Christmas break he'd most likely have to work, but New Years and the third week of April he could get a week off.

Damn, Marley thought. If Ryder got the job and those were his hours, six to five, and if she got a job from six or seven to four, that would leave baby alone with a babysitter. Crap. Maybe she could switch with one of the night people so that when Ryder came home at six, she could leave for work seven to eleven.

Maybe.

"Ryder!" Marley called from the couch. She was laying down with her feet rested up on the arm of the chair and reading a book.

Ryder came in from the kitchen finishing up feeding Grace and Jester. "Yes?"

"Could you please make baby and I a baloney and cheese sandwich with a small light spread of mayo?" She asked him. "With a glass of milk too?"

"Sure thing." Ryder told him and went back into the kitchen.

Marley smiled and went back to her book with her one hand resting on her baby stomach. "Daddy's making our food now, Baby."

Ryder walked back into the living room a moment later. "Marls?" He sounded a bit sad.

"Yes?" She asked.

"We only have the rye bread that we got by accident," He said. Marley hates the taste of rye bread. "Also we only have ham and no mayo."

She crunched her nose together. Of course. "Do we have tomato soup?"

"I'll check." Ryder said. He was gone for a few minutes, then back in. "No."

"Ugh! Spaghetti with that white sauce stuff?"

Again Ryder checked, but came back with nothing good to report. "We have macaroni and cheese."

"Of course we have that plastic shit." Marley muttered. "Could you make that for me?"

"Yes." Ryder said and left again.

Marley rolled her eyes and went back to reading her novel. "I hate that fake pasta shit." She muttered to herself.

Several long hours later Ryder and Marley would continuing with their make-out session after pausing their movie to start the session. It became steamy to the point where Marley started to tug the bottom of Ryder's red shirt. Ryder, smirking, pulled her hands off of the bottom of his shirt and pulled away from her lips. "Nuh uh. Not until the movie is over."

"Ry," Marley called out softly. She was pretty damn horny now.

"Play time after the movie." He said.

They went back to watching Ted but Marley kept her hands in between Ryder's legs, rubbing it back and forth gently, causing Ryder to get excited quickly. As soon as the movie credits would roll Ryder would turn the TV off and go upstairs with Marley.

Of course by the time the credit ran Marley had lost interest in playtime with Ryder and wanted food. Again a baloney sandwich with cheese and mayo but she had to settle on a some ice cream with whip cream, hot fudge and sprinkles. She ate that but she wanted her damn sandwich.

They made out in bed for a while before Marley pulled Ryder's shirt off, throwing it to the side and rubbing her hands up and down his abs. Ryder rubbed her the small of her back soothingly as he rubbed his nose against hers during the kiss. From that point forward, the married couple continued their activity for the next hour or close to it. At the end of the night when they were done, Marley resting her head on Ryder's chest as Ryder relaxed with his arm around Marley, she sat up for a quick second to kiss him on the cheek. "Damn hormones." She muttered.

"I like it." Ryder said. He looked down at the brunette beauty with bright blue eyes. "I love you Marley."

"I love you Ryder."

Marley fell asleep first. Ryder shifted himself so that he could look at Marley a lot better. The angelic beauty slept with a soft face and not showing any sign of discomfort. How did Ryder end up with such a beautiful, kind, wonderful girl like Marley? Just how? And for the record how did Ryder end up with someone who made him feel smart whenever he felt dumb, someone who loved almost everyone no matter what and someone so strong even when they felt personally felt so weak? Marley was such a brave, strong, confident, generous, wonderful girl. Woman. All those plus all gained mother skills she would acquire when their baby came showed one thing. Marley would be the best mother in the world to their little one. She'd make a close relationship with them like he did with his own parents. He wished they, and her mother Millie, were here now to help them. They were ready, but wished their parents were here to help here and there and watch their grandchildren grow up.

Marley shifted a tiny bit before stopping and continued sleeping. Smirking Ryder leaned down and kissed her forehead. "I love you."

Marley woke up feeling her child kick and her craving for a baloney sandwich growing. That and chocolate ice cream. They had nothing for a sandwich and no chocolate ice cream. She knew Ryder wouldn't mind too much going to the store to get her something, as after their last argument when he went to get fruit punch Ryder never complained anymore. But she looked at her handsome husband, her child's daddy, the daddy-to-be and grinned. Too perfect of an angel to wake him up from his dreams.

Well it was only a short drive. She didn't want to turn the lights on in the room, waking Ryder, but she had some clean laundry downstairs she got done earlier. And by 'she got done' she meant Ryder. She rolled off the bed, grabbing her bathrobe with her, and walked over to Ryder's side of the bed to kiss him on the cheek. He stirred but kept sleeping.

Downstairs Marley put on her gray tank top, then her long sleeve light blue sweater, her underpants and black maternity yoga pants. She grabbed the car keys and left the house to get into the car.
