It was christmas eve and everyone was getting very for christmas day. Rachel was out at the shops picking up lat minute things for Christmas dinner, this year not only were Adam's parents coming again but she also had his sister her husband and there children coming so there house would be very full.
"Mum can we please go to costa" Sophie pleaded.
"Yeah please please please" chloe begged too.
Rachel sighed but ended up giving in at least it would keep them quiet, so she payed at the check out and the three of them headed up to costa.
Rachel and the girls got their drinks and then headed to a table to sit down.
"What time are we going to winter wonderland" asked chloe.
"Well i want to set off at about half six cause i don't want to be back to late" Rachel told the girls.
"Can we go on the big wheel mum?" Sophie asked.
"Your sister can go on with you because there is no way im getting on it" Rachel said as she was afraid of heights.
The girls and Rachel finished their drinks and then headed off home. They got to the house and Rachel headed to the kitchen where she found Lauren studying.
"Lauren as happy as i am your studying, its Christmas eve yiu should be relaxing" Rachel said to Lauren.
"I really need to do well in these mocks mum and there less than a month away" Lauren told her mum.
Rachel sighed, she was happy Lauren was taking her work seriously but was concerned she was taking it a bit to seriously and Rachel knew from experience it wasn't for her.
"Love i know how important these mocks are but its not healthy to be studying all the time, so please have a break and relax for the next two days okay?" Rachel said.
"Okay" Lauren said quite relieved she was getting a break.
A little while later Rachel was walking in the hallway when she saw Chloe's door shut which was a bit unusual for Chloe so she went to check that she was okay.
"Hey love you okay" Rachel asked her.
Chloe nodded and Rachel noticed a letter in her hand.
"Who's your letter from?" Rachel asked her.
"Its from my mum, she said she misses me" Chloe told her Auntie.
"Well thats nice of her to send you a letter and im sure she is missing you" Rachel said to her niece
"But if she misses me why did she leave me" asked chloe.
"I don't know love your mum she's always been a bit of an adventurer, but i do know she loves you very much even if she's not here to tell you" Rachel reassured Chloe.
"I love you auntie Rachel" Chloe said.
"I love you too, why don't you starts getting ready cause we're leaving soon"
"Okay" Chloe said getting up and going to find Sophie.
Everyone was getting ready to set off and things were a but hectic.
"Dad have you seen my white scarf" Abbie asked.
"It should be in the cupboard" Adam told her.
"Mum i cant find my hollister hat" moaned Sophie.
"Have you definitely looked properly" Rachel asked.
"Yeah i , found it" Sophie said as she raked through the cupboard.
Eventually everyone was ready and they managed to set off, they had to take two cars as all of them in one car would never work.
They arrived at winter wonderland and everyone was very excited.
"Right me, Adam and the twins will go and get doughnuts then meet you at the big wheel okay?" Rachel told the girls.
The girls nodded then everyone headed their separate ways. The girls were walking to the wheel when Sophie stopped to look at one of the stalls, when she turned back around the other girls were gone.
Lauren, Abbie and Chloe arrived at the wheel when they noticed Sophie wasn't with them.
"Where's Soph" Lauren asked panicked.
"I don't know she was with us five minutes ago" Abbie said also worried.
"We need to find her" Chloe said.
"So the girls headed off to look for her.
Sophie was crying by this point it was really busy and she was just about to turn round and go the other way when she spotted her mum and Adam.
"Mum" Sophie shouted as she ran to her mum and gave her a hug.
"Soph what happened?" Rachel asked as she saw Sophie was crying.
"I stopped to look at a stall and then i couldn't see Lauren and the others" Sophie cried.
"Sophie" shouted Lauren as she spotted her with their mum and Chloe and Abbie ran with her to them.
"Soph thank god your okay, I'm so sorry we lost you" Lauren said hugging her sister.
"Its okay i shouldn't have stopped" Sophie told them.
"Right well i think we should all stick together for the rest of the night" Adam said and everyone agreed.
They all had a lovely night together and even convinced Rachel to go on the wheel and tommorow would be even more exciting.
