No lies
Hi everyone, I'm sorry for the lack of updates, I guess the time has just flown past, and I haven't had the time to write anything. Anyways, this is quite a short chapter, but I should hopefully (I say hopefully because knowing me I will probably forget) post another short chapter tomorrow. Please review, reading them makes my day :)

The sunlight shone through the curtains as Max rolled over and looked at Zoe. She looked so innocent sleeping, as if nothing in the world could bother her. Her eyes flickered open and she smiled as Max tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
'Morning beautiful'
'Morning handsome'
'I could get used to that, in fact I don't know why I haven't been called that more often.' Max said, smiling.
Zoe picked up the pillow she had been lying on and smacked Max. She put the pillow back and lay back, yawning before speaking.
'I'm so tired, can we have a lazy day?'
'We're on holiday, of course we can! It's up to you, I don't mind.'
The two got up and dressed before siting on the balcony to eat breakfast.
'We need to buy some food, fancy coming to the shops today?' Max asked.
'Sure, let me put some makeup on first though.' Max rolled his eyes, causing Zoe to smile sarcastically and add,
'I have to look good for my new husband!'
'You're beautiful the way you are.' It was Zoe's turn to roll her eyes.
'Maybe not everyone sees me through your eyes.'
'Zoe, if I could give you one thing in life, I would give you the ability to see yourself through my eyes, only then would you realise how special you are to me. I love you for who you are! But, I guess if makeup makes you happy, that's fine, whatever makes you happy makes me happy!' Zoe smiled, then she reached for her sunglasses.
'Compromise. I'll wear no makeup but I'll wear sunglasses?' Max laughed and pulled her hand and led the way towards the door.
They walked hand in hand down the street, towards the small shop. They managed to get everything they needed and got to the checkout.
'Are you from England?' The cashier lady asked.
'Yeah, we're here on our honeymoon!' Zoe told her.
'Oh! You two are married?' The cashier sounded surprised, so Zoe held up her hand with the two rings(her engagement ring and wedding ring) sitting proudly next to each other.
'You sound surprised?' Max said to the cashier.
'Yeah, not trying to offend you or anything, but you two look like you have quite a big age gap?' Zoe sighed.
'Yeah, it's 11 years. I don't ever find that affects our relationship though.' Zoe picked the bag of food up and stormed out of the shop, Max hurrying along with her.
'Zo, Zoe wait!' Zoe turned around, she felt so angry. This was the whole reason she didn't want people knowing in the first place. They just judged them by status gap or age gap. It wasn't fair. Max pulled her to the side of the pavement where there was a bench overlooking a small bay. They sat here and Max put a hand on Zoe's arm.
'I know you're upset, but don't take it to heart. At home those who know us know how we really feel.'
'What do you mean how we really feel?'
'Zoe Hanna, I'm amazed when I look at you. Not because of your beauty, but because everything I've ever wanted is right in front of me. You are the first and last thing on my mind every day, I love you to pieces. Truthfully I could talk about you all day and night and still have a million things to say. But too many words become meaningless. So I'll just leave it at you're the most perfect person I've ever met, and I can't imagine not having you in my life. Who cares what that stupid lady thinks. I love you and I don't care what anybody else thinks.' Zoe looked at Max, the tears brimming. She fought them back.
'And Max Walker, you're the best thing that has ever happened to me. You're the one person I want. I'm sorry I've been so sensitive to those comments. Since you've been around I smile a lot more. I love you more than words could ever say. I think about you more than you could ever know, I will forever be in love with you, because there is no one I would ever love the way I love you.' Max smiled. Zoe rarely opened up about her feelings.
'Zoe, all I want is to be in love with you, to have an honest relationship, no lies. Nothing between me and you.' Zoe looked up at him, and took a deep breath.
'I do have one thing that I need to tell you then. You deserve to know. I've kept it from you for so long. But I want to chat to you back at the house.'
'Whenever you're ready, princess.'
They walked back to their flat hand in hand, munching on some timtams they had bought.
