Noe's POV

*flash back*

"Mom? Dad?" I called out to them

"Yes, son. What is the matter?" a deep male voice spoke to me not of which was of my dad

"He actually called us mom and dad. I couldn't be happier, but we both love you very dearly son." A soft female's voice spoke

"What who are you two?" I asked

"You should already know that son." The male voice

I thought for a second before it hit me.

"Wait you two are…" I was saying before the male voice answered me

"Yes, your other parents, though I wish we would've met on other terms, but it seems this is really the only time we will get to talk." He said as the one with black eyes outlined in white came closer to me revealing a white wolf "It's time you know what you can really do and what you must do."

"What do you mean?" I asked seeing the sad look on their faces

"Listen to us very carefully baby." The other one with white eyes outlined in black said as she came closer revealing a black beautiful wolf

"There are two choices you can make to end this rampage Invidia is going on, but one choice is not better any better than the other." He said in a very serious tone "It's up to you to make the choice, but if you don't choose either one you will die."

"Understand that we love you and have been watching over you seen you were born. We want what is best for you." She said with loving eyes

"There has be more choices than that." I said looking at both them "This all cannot lead up to just two or three choices."

"Even so!" shouted the white wolf as his eyes began to flare "Those are the best chances you have to live because we don't want to see you die again!"

I could feel his over bearing emotions as he said it. The black wolf looked down sadly with hurt in her eyes. The white wolf took a heavy breath or two calming himself down.

"We both don't want you to die again." He said softly "Invidia had taken your life once already, but we will not let him do it again and never will Shadow or Amy."

"I understand..." I finally said taking in everything "What are the choices?"

"Very well, the first choice is to gather everyone you can and take on Invidia head on." The black wolf said "Invidia can't fight a dozen people at once yet alone heal every wound thrown at him. By doing this you waste his time to get his hands on Tikal as she returns to the master emerald which will foil his plans, but many will die."

"The other way," The white wolf spoke up "Is to take the power hidden within Shadow that was meant for you. Powers that are rightfully yours when you were first born. With that you can defeat Invidia, save Sonic, and hardly anyone will die..."

I didn't like the way he dragged out the last word as I gave him a look of concern which he looked from me to the black wolf and back to me.

"However, the ones that will die are those who are the closest to you." He said

I was shocked to know that these were really the only choices I had to pick from to live. No, I won't accept it.

"Dad, mom, do you honestly believe that these are the only choices I have?" I asked

"Yes." The white wolf said firmly

"Honey, we looked at all the possibilities and this is what we know for sure will work 100 percent." The black wolf replied

"I don't doubt either one of you, but I won't allow points deaths just so that I can live another day. Neither one of you can see into the future and know for sure that the next day I won't end up dead." I said looking at both of them "It doesn't matter if I die or not, as long as everyone can be happy and can make it through the next with no worries, I'm fine with that. Don't forget I not only have you two as my parents, but Shadow and Amy as well along with a bit of their powers. Your destiny isn't something given to you or path that is made for you. It's one that you make yourself with friends to support you along the way."

There was a silence for a bit before the black wolf spoke.

"I also believe in what you are saying son. We only wanted what is best for you and you alone."

"Follow your heart." The white wolf said turning away "You remind me of when I was younger. We can't force you to choose anything only to show a way. This is the last time you will see us and hope we won't see you on the other side until you're a grown man."

His words were truly heartwarming and the black wolf smiled brightly at her lover. She motioned me to come closer as I did the white wolf turned around and they both hugged me.

"This is farewell son." He said

"Take care of yourself." She added hugging tightly

I felt something within me flowing throughout my body. They began to disappear as they still held on to me.

"I will mom and dad." I told them both with a smile on my face

Everything began to shine brightly then I noticed I was in a healing pod I opened and got out taking a few breaths before planning out what I needed to do.

*Fast Forward to Tail's ship*

"You are right, but the Sonic we knew is not the one in control. If he isn't killed then we may all be doomed. However I do have a plan." I said giving him a smile one of which he knew all too well

"What's the plan then?" Tail's asked slightly uneasy

"We're are going to use the weapon you have hovering above earth." I replied

Cosmo looked completely confused as Tail's eyes widen in horror.

"How did you…" he was asking before I cut him off

"Know about it?" I finished his sentence for him "That was the first thing I found out when I was studying under you though it was by mistake. That weapon will be our back up against Invidia, if we have to use it that is."

"THERE'S NO CHANCE HELL ANYONE OF US WOULD LIVE!" Tails shouted out nearly angry

"I understand how powerful it is." I replied looking at him calmly "But you should already know how powerful Invidia from what my father and mother had told you already."

Tails was about to say something, but even he knew that it was useless knowing that I was right.

"Like I said we may not even have to use it, but to be safe we'll set everything up as if it was." I said to reassure him

"What in the hell do you mean if everything was set up?" Tails asked "This weapon you want to use is by far stronger than the eclipse cannon on the space ark that needs the chaos emeralds. There is nothing that can be set up to make this even the slightest bit safe…"

Tails dragged his words out a bit as I held up a device he knew all too well.

"If we use this, it will contain the blast." I said before using my power to create four of them

"How did you…" Tails said at a loss of words for what he saw

"Something new I picked up, but the chaos emeralds will be enough to power it. I'll set these up quickly so set up everything ready to use, so when I give you the signal then that means we will have to use it." I said

*End of Flash back*

I had set up the last spike for Tails after sending my parents on their way. I began running towards my mother to help her in case Invidia had shown up, but was frozen in my tracks as I heard a very loud yell of distress within my head. If anything I could recognize my father's voice. I could feel my heart sink in my chest with pain. I chaos controlled over to the master emerald to see Invidia there with my father as he held my mother in his arms. I looked slightly away in sadness and anger seeing that my mother had just died. Anger rose up from me, but I had to remain calm and follow the plan if I was going to end this. Something wasn't right as Invidia began coming up from the creator but instead of healing completely there were spots on him that would not heal. He noticed me and quickly looked back up to shadow as if he saw a ghost, but changed his expression and yelled out to shadow.

"Shadow, I have your wife's heart."

My eyes widen in horror to what he had just said, but I could sense that he was lying. Father's face was just blank. No emotion was shown at all and not even his usual dark look was showing. However when I began to read his emotion's it was in a state of chaos. His rage and anger over mother's death had completely consumed him. There was something that came out of the master emerald towards father then went away as soon as Invidia called out to him. I wasn't sure if Invidia had actually saved my dad or not, but I knew he noticed the same thing.

"I see you finally made it." Invidia said now noticing I was there "Long time no see nephew."

"You are no family member of mine, murderer." I replied looking at him darkly

"Hmpf. Still doesn't seem like you know the whole truth of things. Though that didn't help your father when I struck him down now did it?" he asked

"He is not my only father." I replied then looked over to my dad who still hold mother in his arms

"Oh, is that so?" Invidia asked surprised "So Noctis kept his child's soul to have it be reborn in order to get revenge for them. That I didn't plan for really, but it's not something that I can't handle."

He dove straight at me unbelievably fast, but was stopped instantly half way to me. Shadow grabbed Invidia's arm holding him completely in the air with little effort. There was an untold amounts of energy rushing out of my father. It was terrifying to think he actually had that much energy within him.

"..." my father seemed to have mouthed to Invidia causing him to whelp in pain as Shadow completely crushed his arm from tightening his grip

He paused a bit as Invidia was struggling to break free from his grip.

"Let me remind you of the person whose wrath you just brought upon yourself." He said calmly before his eyes glow completely red then roared at Invidia "MY NAME IS SHADOW THE HEDGEHOG… AND I'M THE ULTIMATE FUCKING LIFE FORM!"
