Elsa's eyes snapped open as the sun poured abundantly into her room. Sitting up, she looked about lazily. Her companion, and her lover, was no where to be seen in the room. "Had she returned to her own chambers...?" Elsa wondered, rising up from the bed and taking another look around. She remembered waiting for Anna well into the night, even chancing searching for the girl. But as the night tore on and she found herself lying down to take a small rest before the girl returned; she must have fallen into a deep sleep. "Perhaps Anna did go back to her own room..." Elsa breathed, bringing her hand up to her lips as she recalled the discussion they had before she left. "Our fight.." Elsa sighed, looking towards the bed.
They weren't fighting, not really, but she did manage to make Anna sad. Her indecision was what made Anna, as well as herself, sad. "Maybe she decided to leave for the evening...?" Elsa thought out, trying to give the girl a reason why she wasn't there with her.
Regardless of what the girl had decided, she wasn't there now, and Elsa got up to begin her search for her. But as she crossed the room and opened the door to leave, Hans as well as Keith were standing in the way. Elsa froze as she took in the scene, Hans grasping a document tightly in his hand while the other had a finger jabbed into Keith's chest. Keith, for the first time since she ever met him, displayed hostility towards Hans that threatened his typical kind nature.
As Elsa opened the door and the three locked eyes, Hans removed his finger towards Keith and the guard took a step back. Keith's eyes fell to the floor and he swallowed audibly, sending alarm to Elsa.
"Princess...good morning." Hans breathed out, trying to show a smile to the girl. His eyes looked tired, as did Keith's, and she looked to them both curiously as he tried to excuse the fact they were just fighting in front of her door.
"What is going on..?" Elsa asked, her tone a little nervous. "Keith what happened to your arm..?" she added, noticing the man had it wrapped and tucked into a sling that wrapped around his neck.
Both men looked to each other, Keith's gaze full of frustration while Hans looked honestly guilty. "We have some news to discuss with you." Hans blurted out finally, after a moment of silence, and went to touch the woman.
She allowed his hand to grace her for a second before she moved away. This wasn't just news they were telling her, this was terrible news. If it had been anything but that, Elsa wouldn't have felt the tension rise between the three of them, nor seen Keith's anger as he stared at his Prince. "If you will come with me Elsa I.." Hans started to say, silencing as Elsa interrupted him.
"Whatever it is...I would like to discuss it here." Elsa said, her voice hurried as she watched tears form across Keith's eyes. "Keith why are you..?" the Princess began to say, stalling as realization came to her features. A horrible thought arose from her; a terrible incident that she prayed wasn't true. "Where is Anna..?" Elsa begged, praying the girl wasn't hurt or worse, killed.
Keith waited for the Prince to tell her, looking between the two expectantly. "Now, Elsa...I did this for your own good..." Hans stated and Elsa was already growing red with anger, what could he possibly have done to the girl? "I had a meeting yesterday with a Prince Henrik...he came to collect you Elsa.." he trailed off, watching the girl's reaction.
"Henrik...he.." Elsa took a deep breath in, trying to hold back from panicking. She wouldn't allow Hans to know about her past with the man, especially how much she feared him. "Why was he here to collect me?" Elsa asked; her voice startled and confused. "He has no business to do so." she added, her eye's widening as Hans spoke.
"He does..actually..he apparently owns you"
"Excuse me?" Elsa practically snapped back, anger filling her.
"Miss...according to that document in Prince Hans' hands...Prince Henrik said, well you belonged to him." Keith intervened, forgetting his title for the moment to drop the news on the woman. Prince Hans nodded his head, sadly agreeing with the man. "Prince Henrik said..that Anna traded you in for a job as a knight?" Keith continued, watching as Elsa shook her head. "I didn't quite believe it myself..since she..." the man trailed off for a second, looking at Elsa intently, "Since she seemed to love her job so much..but the papers, they say otherwise Miss...".
Elsa snatched the papers from Hans' hands, holding them open before her eyes. The act was rude and given any other day she would have asked for them properly, but today was not any other day, today there was this terrible news. The paper was a mix of big words and contract statements all agreeing down at the bottom that Anna would accept a new job title as a Knight of Calon Coast. "Anna wouldn't have done this...she was getting a Knight title from my parents..." she said to the men, looking between them and the fact on the paper. Elsa tried to think back when this could have happened, when Anna would have had the time or even the guts to sit down and discuss with the man about Elsa. She was too busy traveling with Elsa, saving her life and falling in love over the duration of the trip.
Prince Hans cut in this time, "Henrik explained to me that he agreed to give Anna this title...only to have her change her mind the very same day and cut his hand from his body, is this true Elsa..?".
Elsa's eyes went wide and it all came back to her. The day she sat atop the hill, Anna had been gone for hours. When Henrik had captured her seemingly out of no where and she was brought into his room. Anna saved her and the two escaped out of the kingdom. But that would mean that Anna spent the time when she was suppose to be shopping, spending it with Henrik, signing her life over to him.
"But that's impossible...Anna wouldn't have done that to me..." Elsa whispered, thinking of their fight before hand. The fight they had before she went into Calon. "But she did wish to be rid of me then...". Elsa felt her head go dizzy and she clutched at the paper, ripping the sides of it as she thought this all out. She couldn't assume it was true; she needed to speak with Anna immediately. "Where is Anna, I demand to see her..."
"Darling she is gone..." Hans stated, coming to place his hands on the woman, stilling her as she shook.
"W-what...?" Elsa said, completely breathless.
"She left...last evening." Prince Hans stated, "I...came to her about these allegations and told her she could either leave the kingdom or she could repent and face the consequences...I even would have allowed her to stay here darling, but she was gone no sooner had I gave her the options.".
Elsa covered her mouth, shaking her head as tears willingly fell down her face. "You're.." she tried to speak but her throat was so tight she struggled to breath as she nearly fell to the floor. "You're lying.." Elsa stated, unbelieving.
Hans sighed, shaking his head. "Keith and I saw her leave.." he said, turning towards the man. "Didn't she Keith.." , Hans asked, watching Keith with an almost desperate glare. Keith's eyes went from Elsa to Hans and the Princess could visibly see he was struggling, casting his gaze to the ground. "Keith.." Hans repeated, more earnestly.
"Y-yes..she did…" the faithful guard whispered out, biting his lower lip. "Sh-she..was offered the chance to repent and stay here..but she denied it and fled the castle late last night.." he added, taking a deep breath. "She wanted to go Princess.."
"But…I.." Elsa looked between the two, unsure how to take the news then. Memories pushed into Elsa's mind of the woman then, the way she had been with her for nearly a year. The way she looked at her, protected her, loved her. "Was all of that a lie?" Elsa's mind screamed, her skin crawling as she realized how much she had given to the girl. She had given her love, her virginity, her trust, everything and now she was gone. "I don't believe you.." Elsa said, pushing away from the man as he tried to hold her close. "I can't…I.."
Hans face went from shock to sympathy and he held out his hand towards Keith. The loyal guard hesitated for a moment before he reached into his pocket and handed something to Hans. Elsa gave him a cold stare, matching the temperature of the room, as he walked closer and played with the item in his hand. "Darling she told me to give you this..." Hans admitted, placing the object in his hand.
Elsa gasped and she brought her free hand up to her mouth, trying to hold back her sobs as she looked down at the Adlai snowflake and the seashell necklace she had made for the girl.
"Anna said she couldn't handle being here anymore Elsa...she was unhappy and I could tell..." he trailed off, kissing the girl lightly on her forehead. "I could tell her heart wasn't here it was elsewhere in the world...".
His words stung deep and Elsa felt herself grow numb as she turned completely away from him and Keith. The man whispered something against her ear then, something about his love and giving her space before he walked away and she could hear the door shutting behind him. Elsa nearly fell apart then, thinking she was alone, still the small steps of Keith's feet sounded and she stared bitterly down at the necklace in her hand. "So did she ever love me..." Elsa whispered out, her body feeling ill as she remembered how the girl whispered such lies against her skin as they made love. Her first love, completely torn from her as she slept in complete bliss. "Does this mean all of that..all of us was a lie as well...?"
She could hear Keith sigh out a curse, surprising her as she turned to look at him. He was struggling with the news as well, clearly as his hand came up to his head and he couldn't look Elsa in the eyes.
"Elsa.." he breathed out, looking towards the necklace in her hands. "You tell me..did she?"
"Please don't make me answer that Keith."
"Then please don't make me tell you.." he laughed, brushing a hand through his thin hair. Elsa paused, her eyes finding his as he smiled bitterly at her. The way his face looked, the posture of his stance and the way he looked so incredibly guilty, made Elsa question what the man really knew about Anna and how she left. "I think you and I both know what Anna was feeling..and I'm going to tell you the same thing...I told her, have faith." he said, bowing before the Princess and walking out of the door.
Elsa stood there for a great deal of time, in utter misery, before turning towards the bed. She laid down and fought her mind from imagining the girl laying next to her, smiling and trying to kiss her. She clutched the necklace tightly and she buried her face into the covers, "Anna...please tell me it isn't true.." she cried out, praying the girl would burst through the door then and take her away from this place.
It was all her fault. Anna had given her the chance to accept her love, to run away from their duties and to live a life full of happiness with her. But Elsa was frightened and she begged her to wait. When Hans must have approached her about the allegations, she must have given up on the idea of them being together. Elsa had her chance to escape her prison and she lost it, foolishly believing Anna would wait around for her forever. Clearly that wasn't so.
Elsa sighed deeply, wiping at the tears as they turned to ice on her skin. The temperature of the room fell and she didn't even stop the ice that shot around her bed like knives, coating the floor and the window in a heavy ice. Snowflakes fell across the room, slowly, and then halted completely in midair. Elsa wanted to encase herself in ice, freezing herself over to numb the pain she was feeling, the coldness matching the way she felt without Anna. "My dearest Knight..." Elsa cried, "Anna..please come back.."
"Emma, Emma...Emma!" Sonja yelled as she dashed across the yard.
Emma grabbed a handful of chicken feed and tossed it to the ground, the silly animals clucking wildly as she did, and turned to see her sister running quickly towards her. Pa and Sonja had gone into town that morning to deliver some goods. Not every chance Sonja got to go with Pa but on this particular day the man needed the extra help. Although Emma would have been the first choice well before Sonja, the two had been on a high wire with one another ever since the whole 'Elsa and Anna discussion'. It didn't hurt Emma's feelings when he constantly chose her little sister over her; in fact it gave Emma enough time to think things through when the two were wrapped up in work together. Instead of entertaining Sonja all day long she actually got to enjoy being in solitude for once, something she never took advantage of as she grew.
"Emma...look, look!" Sonja yelled once more as she approached the girl, a letter in her hand. The older sibling smiled and took the note from her hand, glancing over at Pa as he approached the two of them. He seemed equally curious at the note Sonja had and Emma wondered how she had managed to sneak it past him. "A man stopped Pa today to give him this...but it's addressed to you!" Sonja beamed, "And me!"
"A letter, for me?" Emma laughed, breaking the royal seal. The girls hardly ever got mail, especially from normal folks.
"Hey, and me!" Sonja added, silencing as Emma patted her head softly.
"Of course...and the amazing Sonja." Emma teased. The small child puffed out chest, clearly not getting her sarcasm as she pulled the note open and began to read it. "Oh it's a wedding invitation...wow all the way to Southern Isles?" Emma laughed, wondering who in the world she knew from there.
Pa's eyes widened and Sonja jumped up and down happily. "Does that mean we get to go to a wedding, OhPa can I wear my fancy dress?" Sonja begged, pulling at the man's arm as he looked between Emma and her.
Before he could even offer a yes or a no, the group fell silent as Emma gasped. "It's from Elsy...she's getting married...!" Emma said, turning towards her Father and Sonja. All three of them fell into a silence again, eyes widening as realization came to their faces. "But...if she's marrying a royal...a Prince of the Southern Isles...that would make her a..." she paused, a bright blush coming to her face.
"A Princess..." Pa said, running a hand through his hair. He looked rather pale then and Emma could only guess he felt guilty about his behavior with the woman.
"Gods..." Emma breathed, trying to make any connections to how she didn't realize it before. The girl had discussed an arranged marriage, discussed how Anna and her were on a journey even. It seemed so obvious to her now, especially the way Elsa dressed, that she was clearly a royal. "We've got a royal invitation to Elsy's...I mean Princess Elsy...I mean Princess Elsa's wedding." Emma laughed, bringing her hand to her head.
"But wait..." Sonja said, her face growing confused. "I thought she was in love with Anna-bug, her guardian?"
Both Pa and Emma went silent then. Pa was silent because of his ignorance to the situation, especially the two girl's relationship, but Emma was silent in the sad realization that Elsa hadn't kept her promise. "Or maybe she did.." Emma thought sadly, praying the girl was following her heart by marrying the Prince. Although the eldest sibling had acceptance and hopes for Elsa, Sonja clearly did not as she waited for her sister to explain why the Princess was falling for the Prince. "I don't know Sonja..." Emma said, turning the letter over in her hand. "I guess we'll have to figure out when we go see the wedding?"
Fannar watched his wife walk back and forth, back and forth, and again back and forth until he was completely going to be ill. "Darling she is fine...I am sure Hans is taking care of her just fine." Fannar laughed, watching as his wife neared the window of their meeting room. She stared for a long time, making Fannar wonder what was on her mind. But then she was speaking, as she always did, and explaining just that.
"I am sure Anna has things covered...but I can't shake the feeling something isn't right over there...Elsa's letters haven't been..." Queen Orelia trailed off for a moment, bringing her hand to her mouth. "They haven't…been something.." she finally said, growing frustrated as she fought to find the right words.
"What do you mean darling?" Fannar begged, hoping he could put her worries to rest.
"They are different..." she explained, facing the man. "Before her letters were powerful, meaningful...she had so much to say Fannar!"
"I can see that.."
"Indeed...and she would go on for hours about her adventure..and now..."
"Hm...?"
"Now they are so formal...they have stopped being..."
"Being what Orelia?"
"Happy." she finally breathed out, her arms folding before her. The word hit Fannar in a way that matched his wife, giving her a curious stare. "I don't know dearest...I just noticed it, haven't you?" Orelia asked, sounding defeated as she came to sit beside the man.
Fannar nodded his head slowly, recalling his daughter's letters vividly as she talked about her life at the new castle and all the exciting experiences she had been going through lately. They were even surprised to see a thrilling letter after they wrote her of the terrible news they had, that they would not be able to attend their only daughters wedding. But then the recent one, exactly a month later, was short and very formal. Something they weren't expecting from their daughter. "Perhaps she is mad about the wedding?" Fannar offered.
Orelia shook her head, unconvinced by this. "No...this isn't like the other letters, in the other letters she talked about how much her and Anna had traveled...how they sailed across the ocean, she even explained how Anna and her were attending a ball and how Anna taught her how to build a snowman which I still cannot figure out how they managed to do that in such a hot climate but God knows I don't try and question our daughter's stories...I just don't understand..." Orelia sighed, "Why did everything change...doesn't she like her time there...do you think Hans is being kind to her?".
"I am sure Anna would have taken care of Hans by now if he had done so." Fannar laughed, "Remember the story Elsa said about how Anna took on a large man bear?"
"I still think that one is a lie.."
"Or the time she fought a magical mermaid?"
"Again you have soiled our daughter with the gift of imagination!"
"Honestly…though I am sure Elsa was just having a rough day dear.." Fannar stated, trying to get back on topic. "One bad letter out of a million good is better than one good letter out of a million bad ones." he added, rising from his seat and getting the papers ready for their next meeting. They were silent for some time together and Fannar truly thought his wife was going to drop the subject then. Then she sighed, folding her arms once more, clearly not letting it go.
"What if...something has happened to Anna?" Orelia asked, stilling Fannar in his movements. "Elsa didn't mention her once...and out of a hundred letters...she has made her the point of the conversation...perhaps.." she trailed off, connecting her eyes with her husband. "Perhaps that is what's upsetting her?"
"Why would Anna cause a reaction out of El..." Fannar trailed off, his eyes looking to the floor then to his wife in confusion. For a split second the royals both seemed to be thinking the same thing, both of their eyes widening. Fannar sat down, his hand on his head while his wife stood, walking towards the door in a quickened pace. "Orelia..do you think she..?" he was cut off, silenced as his wife turned around and nodded her head.
"We need to get to the Southern Isles Fannar..." Orelia stated, "Immediately..."
"I can't believe this crap..." Delia groaned, slapping the paper against the ground. The men around her, including Sven, jumped and nearly spilled the soup in their hands. "That bitch walks around here, basically holding Anna on a tight leash and then she goes and gets married to some richly jerk man..." Delia yelled, "It aggravates me even more that she invited us of all people...ugh stupid freaking little..."
Delia continued her rant while the others just ignored her. It was often the best choice when she was like this, especially when it came to these situations. Kristoff was the one who received the letter, straight from the castle itself, directed to the specific members of the Arendelle Camp. At first Kristoff wasn't going to deliver the letter, knowing it would cause this kind of damage. But with a little encouragement from Sven, the man was on his way out and finding the little rag tag band of misfits in a month. Upon his arrival he received a whole story about what Anna had been up to the past few months, practically leaving him speechless as he realized the girl had completely changed. Not only had she successfully got herself in trouble with Calon Coast but she had also snagged herself quite a little girlfriend, managed to get the camp attacked, caused drama between some of the members of said camp and was now off losing said girlfriend to the a Prince of the Southern Isles.
"She's honestly hopeless...she should have just joined back up with the camp while she had a chance..ow!" Kristoff yelped, rubbing his head as Delia smacked him.
"Don't wish that sort of crap on us!" she snapped, "We don't need Miss man and her little royal baby to cause trouble in this camp!"
"Don't talk about Elsa like that!" Douglas argued back, clearly still not over Elsa yet.
"Oh shove it Douglas!"
"No really, you can't be mad because she took your girlfriend away?"
"And you can't be mad that she took away your girlfriend!"
"She's my best friend idiot, not my girlfriend!"
"Guy's!" Damien snapped, silencing the two siblings. The two looked between each other and then towards the other members of the camp slowly, clearly annoyed but not willing to speak over their brother. "Now then...are we going to this thing or not?" Damien asked, earning a shocked look from Delia and a smile from Douglas.
"Damien are you serious, we don't do royal things...we are.." Delia trailed off, "Arendelle Camp wouldn't allow it!"
"But it is Anna..guys!" Douglas countered, "And we should support her even if she is getting her heart ripped out of her chest..right?"
"Well Sven and I are in...I haven't seen Anna in months and honestly if sitting through a boring ceremony is all I have to do, then I'll take it." Kristoff laughed, smiling as Sven nodded his head in agreement. Douglas nodded his head as well, even Damien. Still Delia shook her head no, trying to find sanity within the group. "Nobody said you had to come with us Delia..?" Kristoff laughed, his smile falling as the girl gave him a cold glare. She would be going if they were, God knows she wouldn't miss the opportunity to see Anna miserable as well.
"Cain please convince these guys, you of all people should see how terrible this is!" Delia pleaded, poking the old man as he sat quietly.
Cain held still, eyes closed as the group looked at him. For a moment they wondered if he was meditating again or if he was simply thinking so much on it that he needed to focus all of his energy on it. But as Delia went to poke him again, the man tumbled over and the group all stared wide eye. "Gods is he dead?" Douglas screamed, moving back as Cain's body fell in his direction. Everyone remained quiet; unsure who should make the call. But then the old man's mouth opened and a loud snore erupted from his throat. Somehow the man had fallen asleep in the midst of everything.
"Well that settles it...guys we're going!" Damien stated as he cheered with the men while Delia groaned loudly. In his sleep Cain smiled a small smile, whispering out a small cheer, agreeing to something he hadn't even been a part of agreeing to.
Esmerelda stared down at the letter, debating whether or not she should crumble the note or set it ablaze with the candle that sat across the table. Phoebus glanced her way as she continued to look the letter over and over again, a sad look on his face. "Esmerelda..." he started to say, grimacing as the girl slammed the note down.
"Anna is her true love!"
"I know.."
"Elsa was practically falling head over heels for her!"
"I know.."
"I mean you should have seen them dear, it was ridiculous!"
"I know dear...I truly do." Phoebus continued, trying to still the woman's rage. "But this is Elsa's choice..and she clearly wants us to support her in this decision." he explained, earning a sharp look from his fiery Queen. They knew more than anyone about the situation both girls were in, Elsa and Anna, especially from their short time here and the trip on the ship. If anyone was against this wedding more, it was the two of them. But Phoebus, as well as Esmerelda, knew that Elsa had made her decision and they would by no means try and stop her.
"It's just...she was so happy.." Esmerelda commented, earning a sigh from her husband once more.
"I understand, but Anna will have to move on..as much as we both.." he trailed off as he saw his wife shake her head, leaning back in her chair.
"I meant Elsa.." she spat, angrily.
The two were silent then, the only sounds of the room were the noises of their breathing. Phoebus rose from his seat and walked over to Esmerelda slowly, plucking the letter from her hand. Esmerelda stared up at him as he did, watching as his eyes trained over the note a few times before handing it back to her. "I would very much like to go...but I will understand if you don't dear." he stated, kissing her atop her head.
Esmerelda nodded and focused her eyes back on the letter as the man walked out of the room, leaving her with her thoughts. "Elsa...what are you doing..?" she said to the air, crumbling the note up and tossing it across the room.
He found her sitting in her room again, atop their daughter's bed, clutching onto one of the girls gowns and sobbing quietly into it. The King of Lianna took a heavy breath in and stepped through the doors, trying to catch his wife's eyes as he walked around the bed and to her side. "You were thinking of her again?" he asked, awkwardly, trying to discuss her feelings.
The Queen clutched even tighter onto the dress, never paying him any attention.
"She..." he trailed off, looking at the gown bitterly, "She hated that dress...". The words were rude, purposefully making a point to address their terrible decisions that they had made with their daughter. "If your trying to hold on to something of hers...you may as well press a sword to your heart..." he laughed, "That memory that your holding on to was not Anna..."
"Do you think I am an idiot!" the woman screamed, eyes snapping to him suddenly as she finally acknowledged him. "I know she didn't like this dress..I know she absolutely hated the damned thing!" she spat out, throwing the gown down. The King took a few wary steps back as the woman continued, her fury never ceasing as she clenched her fists tightly. "She fought with me every single day about this dress for a month, a whole month, before she finally allowed me to pull it on her!" she wiped angrily at the tears, acting as if they were burning her. "And it was the last outfit I ever saw her in...it was the last..." she trailed off, her throat tightening as she brought her hands to her face. The King held out his arms and the woman eagerly collapsed into him, sobbing loudly as he held her tight. "It's the last thing that still smells like her...my baby..Anna.." she cried, clutching at the mans clothes desperately as she completely broke.
"I know, I miss her too.." The King soothed, lowering them to the floor. "We will find her and soon enough...and you can make her try on so many different dresses?" The King laughed, silencing as the woman shook her head.
"No I want her back now...I don't want to wait for soon..or for later, I want Anna back now." she sobbed loudly.
The King nodded, unsure what to say or what to do. "We will find her..don't worry.." he smiled, unsure of his own words. "If its the last thing I do, I will find you a daughter.."
She felt her fingertips press into her neck tightly, drawing her close, breath ghosting her ear. "Anna.." Elsa breathed out, her voice shuttering to match the way her body moved underneath her. She was so close; Anna could feel it as she worked her fingers, pumping them in and out of her relentlessly. She gasped loudly and Anna quickly covered her mouth with her own, silencing the noises that escaped out into the room, threatening to reach the hallways.
"I've got you Elsa..." Anna breathed out against her lips.
She was getting hotter, oh so tighter, and a smile broke through Anna's lips as she felt her release. The warmth that pooled onto her hand, the way Elsa moved beneath her, the small noises of her satisfaction was the most intoxicating thing Anna had ever experienced. She would be damned if she didn't see this side of Elsa every day for the rest of their lives together. Breaking their kiss, Anna stared down at the girl who now had fresh tears spilling past her eyes, wiping them with the back of her hands, causing fear to shoot through Anna.
"Elsa did I hurt you, I'm sorry if I was too rough for your first time..I..." she trailed off as Elsa shook her head, "Then why are you crying...?". The Princess shook her head once more and brought Anna down upon her, forcing her into a hug. Anna melted into her, brushing through the girl's blonde hair as she came down from her high. She wasn't sure what Elsa was doing, what she was feeling, but she panicked thinking the girl didn't enjoy herself. Or worse, she was regretting it. "Elsa..if you don't want me to do it again...I promise I.."
"No.."
"No...?" Anna questioned, her throat tightening.
"I don't want you to ever stop.." Elsa continued, feeling the girl wrapping her arms around her neck lovingly. "Anna..." she said once more, "Promise you won't leave me..".
Anna went to open her mouth but she couldn't speak, the feeling of Elsa's warm body was disappearing.
"Anna..promise me..."
The bed in which they lay was cold, wet, and smelled of rotting mold. Anna went to hold onto the memory, tightly, but it fell away in her grasp.
"Anna.."
Anna's eyes snapped open and she immediately felt like screaming as she took in the scene around her. She was in a dark cell of some kind, molding, wet and reeking of vile. Grabbing her hands on the bars she yanked herself up, clenching her teeth as the pain tore through her fingertips and head. Once she was on her feet she attempted to shake the bars, the noise echoing loudly in the small room and even budging slightly but never breaking.
"Oh dear Anna...what a treat to see you there, so...miserable." a voice laughed, catching Anna's attention. In the corner stood Henrik, smug look and all, watching Anna from the outside of her cage. "Get ready for a long trip Anna...we're headed back to my home kingdom." he laughed, confusing Anna until she heard the sound of a horn blowing. Focusing closely the girl heard the men working, pulling at ropes and sails catching against the wind. Horror flashing through her features as she realized they were setting out, across the ocean. "Onward...to Calon Coast." Henrik laughed, turning to leave Anna in her prison, her home, for the next few months.
A/N- Hey guys! Ack I know, so many break lines..I wrote this chapter so choppy because I wanted to give an update on everyone in the story! Next chapter is going to be a little violent..so there will be some Trigger Warnings before hand :)
As I told t3l4m0n on his comment about Henrik 'raping' Anna, I won't be having that in my story. I find the topic very heavy and something I don't think is necessary for this story or any story I am writing. I did write in the beginning about the TW for the 'attempt rape' where Henrik had attacked Elsa, trying to kiss her and the nightmare where it was implied. But I don't plan to do that, especially since I don't feel I am capable of handling that topic as properly as I could. I have confidence in myself and the fact that I KNOW it's wrong, but I do not have the confidence in the fact I can do it without offending someone (and I don't want to regardless!)
alright..I'm rambling! I have to go to a wedding this weekend so I will not be updating! I might try and get an update in on Friday (late) but otherwise I will definitely get one in for next week! As I said above, the next chapter has a lot of violence in it.-TP
