"You gonna tell us who did it"
"I can't"
"Why"
"I promised them I wouldn't dob and If I tell DoCS will take his sister away"
She froze "He?" said Bianca
I looked at her. It looked like she knew but I didn't
"who was it?" I asked

LANI P.O.V

"It was Matt wasn't it" Asked Bianca
"Yep" I said quietly "You can't let him get in trouble"
"Lani, he tagged a wall" Said Heath
"I've got an idea" Said Bianca

The next day.

I walked up to the classroom and knocked on the door. I opened it and went in.
"Can I talk to Matt for a second?" I asked the teacher
He looked at Matt "Sure, what for?"
"I need to talk to him about a history assignment" I lied
He looked at Matt and nodded is head. Matt got up and came out the door with me.
"What's this about a history assignment" He questioned
"Ms Scott needs to see us"
"Why"
I didn't answer I just kept walking towards her office. I went in first and sat at her desk.
"What's going on" Matt asked walking in
"Shut the door" Bianca said to him
After he shut the door he came and sat next to me.
"I know you tagged the surf club wall"
He looked at me "You said you wouldn't dob!"
"Matt I'm sorry, it just came out."
"Lani has nothing to be sorry for Matt, she was just being honest"
"I'm sorry" I said to him "But we found a way where we don't have to tell the police"
"What do you mean" He asked
"Well I've been talking to John and he said if you clean the wall he won't press charges, but you have to promise you won't do it again" Said Bianca
"And I'll help too" I piped in
"Thanks" He replied
"Good, I'm guessing you've got nothing on this afternoon"
Matt and I looked at her shocked
"Well that'll teach you then won't it" She said
"Your evil" I said
She looked at us and smiled "You can go back to class now"
Matt went out first and I stayed behind "But Casey's coming home tonight"
"Oh well, you offered to help"
I pulled a stupid face at her as I walked out the door
"I'll get you back for that" She said as I went out

HEATH P.O.V

"Hows Lani" Case asked as we drove home
"She's good" I replied
"Been keeping out of trouble?"
"Kinda"
He looked at me weird "What happened"
"She might have got into a bit of trouble with the police"
"How?"
"Matt was tagging a wall and the cops thought it was Lani" I replied "But it's all been sorted"
"Really?"
"Her and Matt are cleaning the wall"
"I've got to see this" He laughed
I looked at him "Yeah I guess your right"

CASEY P.O.V

I stood back from a distance taking a photo on my phone
"You guys are wetter than the wall" I said walking up to them
Lani turned around and looked at me "Casey!" She yelled running towards me
"Hey" I replied hugging her
"How are you?"
"Good, so you've been getting into trouble a bit"
She looked away from me, "Yes and No"
"Ah don't worry, you didn't hurt anyone"
"You gonna stay and help" She asked
"Ah sorry, I'm a cripple"
"Right" She said walking back to the wall.
"See you tonight" I yelled walking back to the car

LAIN P.O.V

"Done" I said throwing the sponge on the ground
I looked at Matt, he had dirt all over his face.
"Good job little minion" He said patting me on the back
"I hope you've learnt now"
"Yeah I have, and I found something more fun than graffiti" He said ringing out the sponge above my head.
"What was that for?" I said squirting him with my water bottle
"Hey" He said flinching from it.
I turned around and picked up a sponge off the ground but before I could he tipped the full bucket of water over my head. Dripping from head to toe I turned around and ran after him. He ran to the beach and into the water. I followed him in and he tried to trip me over.
"Not gonna work" I said jumping on his back
He fell backwards into the water letting me go first. I jumped up and tried to shake the water out of my ears. I ran my hands through my hair trying to ring it out. I shut my eyes for a second. Before I knew it Matt's lips were touching mine. I pushed myself away from him.
"I'm sorry" He said
"Don't be" I replied walking off

As I walked home the kiss was all I could think about. I walked through the door and saw Casey and Darcy sitting on the couch.
"What are you doing home early" Asked Casey
"Finished early" I replied "Hey Darc, what are you doing here?"
"Staying with dad and Bianca tonight"
"Why are you so wet?"
"Kinda got into a water fight"
"With Matt"
"Yeah" I said "Hey where's Heath and Bianca?"
"Next door" Said Darcy
"And Ricky"
"Dunno, haven't seen her all afternoon"
"Right" I said quietly, "I'm gonna have a shower"

Later that night, when Ricky came home, we began to make dinner.
"Come on, lets make some pizza" I said to Darcy
"Alright" She said getting on my back.
I piggy-backed her all the way to the kitchen then put her on the ground
"What are you kids doing?" Asked Ricky
"Being kids" I replied
She looked at us and laughed.
"Do you want pineapple, Miss Darcy" I asked.
"Yes please"
"Can you make me one" Casey yelled from the lounge room
"Alright but just this once" Said Darcy
"Hey ric, where have you been lately?"
"No where," She said
I looked at her, "It's alright, you can do what you want, your and adult Ric"
"OK I have been hanging out with someone"
"That's alright"
We were interrupted by Heath and Bianca coming in. I put the pizza's in the oven with the other ones and went into the lounge room.
"I'm going to see Brax tomorrow anyone want to come"
Yeah I'll come" Said Casey
"Maybe another day" Said Ricky
"I'll come" I said
"You've got school tomorrow though" Said Casey
"It's alright, you can be 'sick' tomorrow" Said Bianca
I looked at her and smiled
"Alright I'll go make the call" Heath said walking out the door
"Hey what's burning" Said Casey
"Oh no" Darcy and I said running to the oven.
"Don't worry only Casey's got burnt" I said
"Thanks"
"Ha. Ha." Darcy and I said at the same time.
We cut the pizza up and took it into the lounge room. I sat on the couch next to Casey and Darcy. Heath walked in not looking to happy
"what's up?" Asked Casey, "Can't we go tomorrow"
"Nah we can it's just he apparently had a visitor today?"
"Who" I asked
"They didn't say" He said "You didn't go did you" He asked Ricky
"No I was in town all day"

Earlier that day

BRAX P.O.V

"Braxton" Said the guard, "You have a visitor today"
I looked up "Who?"
"Just come with me"
I went out into the yard and the guard took me over to a table where a boy about Casey'sage was sitting.
"Darryl?" He asked looking up at me
"Who are you?" I asked sitting down
"Kyle, your brother"
"I already have two brothers, so why should I believe you"
"Because Danny Braxton is my dad"
I looked at him.
"And I was also the one who killed him"
