I ride back in the train alone, grinding in silence.

Thoughts race through me mind: like "How will I explain this to everyone in Dauntless?" "How or will I earn Tobias's trust again?" "How will I fight a war whilst being pregnant?" "How many casualties will our faction suffer this time?" "Will the return of Jeanine and Eric affect the fate of the entire city again?"

Bad news- all my thoughts concluded with negative outcomes or a pure 'I have no clue'

I try to think to the positive side, I mean the future does belong to those who know where they belong, so it can be good.

Or not.

I am getting nowhere with my fake inspiration to self.

I jump off the train and head to the Pit, mentally making a plan on how to notify everyone

Plan to spread the word: Tell the first person you see and get them to pass it on

The Pit is rather empty. I turn a dark corner and bump into someone.

"Hey I need to tell you news and pass it on." I say

"Tris?" The familiar yet dreading voice replies.

"Oh hey Tobias." I mutter quietly.

"What do you have to tell me now?" He says unconvinced.

Well a lot now to come to think of it. "I went to see Caleb today, he says that Jeanine and Eric have been resurrected. He wants me to pass on three news to our faction so we can be ready. And also... I'm-" I say

He interrupts, "You know I am just about done with you and your crappy lies."

"I'm hon-"

"Yea yea that's what you always say. You haven't changed at all." He says gruffly.

I'm quiet, "Are you gonna pass this on or not?"

"Why should I if your obviously lying." He grunts

"If you aren't going to help me fine! I can do this on my own. We need to be ready and protect the city that has finally been rebuilt and keep the peace, by ridding Jeanine and Eric as soon as possible." I say determined, yet saddened.

"I'm done with you. Figure it out on your own." He pushes past me.

Ok cool. Keep it cool Tris. You've been expecting this. Com'on get your shit together.

I just lost the love of my possible second and first life. As much as if saddens me I am angry too. He just back stabbed me when I needed his help most. Still on the issue of trust.

I take a deep breath, tears form in my eyes. There are more important matters to tend to. I need to find Zeke, Uriah, or Christina.

That sounds like a much better plan.

LINEBREAK

I notify all the leaders and many of my friends. I head to the training room to grab a few weapons, including a gun, a couple throwing knives, a box of matches, and a few hand grenades. Suddenly I feel woozy and exhausted. Going on eight weeks for the little one.

I stagger against the wall for balance, feeling light headed. I rush with my weapons to my room as quick as I can, and collapse on the bed.

How long does my streak of negative karma to too? Will I even survive this? I've lost so many people.

Stay strong Tris. Stay strong. My mind advises. Pull through like you always do.

I clench my fist, feeling nauseous. This will all end eventually. And I WILL make it end well if it's the last thing I do.

Caleb gave me a communication device last time I visited too, kind of to keep me updated on their status.

From his predicaments, Jeanine is thirsty for revenge. On Erudite. To regain her honor.

But who knows. The second life will never be like the first one. You get all your opportunities in your first life. Then it's all downwards on this roller coaster that will also eventually come to an end.

I lay on my bed, awaiting this eerie fate. Might as well think about the future of the city, and the future of me.

I have 2 things to live for.

The life of my child to be spared and born.

And the safety for my brother and that this faction is the most powerful mentally, but weakest physically. I have to be ready to leave and aid him anytime and keep them safe.

Both solutions to these future thoughts: stay alive.

The intercom goes on, "Everybody meet in the Pit."

What now? I groan as I get up, and head over

LINEBREAK

I push through the crowd and find Uriah "What's going on."

"Were making plans and getting prepared for what you notified about earlier." He replies.

Jacob steps up and raises his voice, "Everybody QUIET!"

The crowd goes fairly silent, and Jacob continues. "As you all know. Tris has reported that Jeanine and Eric are back. And we should be ready to patrol and fight back whenever they strike."

"Who knows when or If they will?" A voice shouts.

"We don't know. But according to Tris." He socks out my name. "We should be ready"

Jacob starts assigning jobs, stationing people to patrol—the more talented ones to other factions. He assigns me to stay at Dauntless. Not my number one pick... Wow Jacob.

"But hey, at least some people listen to me." I sigh in relief

LINEBREAK

Nothing happens for the next week.

Dauntless members start giving me crap. Like 'You sure you aren't going deaf or blind?' Or 'This is ridiculous who would resurrect villains.'

I keep myself updated with Caleb and Cara. When the aggressors do decide to strike, I will probably go and aid there. Uriah, Christina, and a few others are already stationed to patrol there, but hey the more the merrier.

That night, I have a bad gut feeling something will happen. After tossing and turning on my bed for awhile, I give up, snatch my weapons, and sneak out on the train.

Jeanine and Eric, you are so going down
