They were in a really nice hotel and they were tip toe around each other not really talking about the big elephant in the room. Daryl felt she needed to talk about what happened in that bedroom she kept the door shut on and she didn't even want to step in there. Nothing in there she wanted. He knew that wasn't true because he could see a baby photo album on top of the wardrobe before she dragged him out.

He'd decided that he would do a swoop of the bedroom and pick up anything he though looked important if she didn't want to go in there. She was in the bathroom talking to Sophia. She was a little sad and upset, and she was trying not to cry about talking to her daughter on the phone. She come out finally and was telling her to talk with Daryl. He took the phone telling her that they were having a great time and really having fun. He didn't want her to worry about anything.

'Ok princess put Uncle Merle on the phone,'

He had a quick talk with Merle telling him the trip was shit, Carol was upset and to look after his girl for him. Merle thanked him of all the pink art stuff he left for Sophia. Daryl smiled and told him to enjoy his time with Sophia.

'Yeah yeah, and don't think I don't know you told Sophia I'd take her to look at fucken squirrels,' Merle told him, 'Revenge will be sweet brother, very sweet,'

'You'll love it, take money,' Daryl was amused he planned the outing for Sophia and Merle.

He hung up and he could hear Carol sniffing in the bathroom. He didn't know if he should go in there or not yet, or let her have some time to cry some more. He sighed a little then picked up the hotel phone to call down for some food, he knocked on the bathroom door.

'You want something for dinner? Should I just order some stuff?' Daryl waved the menu in her direction, he could see she was still crying. 'Babe, Soph's fine, she doesn't miss us as much as we miss her,'

'I know, I just didn't wanna ... I don't want to do it,' Carol sat on the side of the bath and was crying.

'Carol... honey... geeze I don't know what to do right now?' He just sat on the side of the bath and held her. Trying hard not to cry himself, he was emotional day for him as well as her. He was so made when he saw the blood still on the walls he just wanted to wipe the past away. They still had one more day to get everything done.

'I want... ' Carol didnt know what she wanted.

'You want me to run you a bath?'

'K... you know,' Carol sniffed a little, 'I dont' want you to stop,'

'Stop what?'

'Being so loving... nice to me...a good soul... loving and sweet and kind... a good Daddy for Sophia,' Carol named a whole lot of things Daryl never thought anyone would ever call him. Or say to him.

'Don't tell Merle, its a secret,' Daryl told her, he moved her slightly and leaned over and put the plug in the bath and started running the water for her. He wasn't all the things she was saying about him. He wanted to believe her, he knew he was a good Daddy he would walk over fire for Sophia and she was his no matter what, but a kind soul and sweet he didn't think so. 'You need me to take your clothes off?'

Carol was still sniffing and she started pulling off her clothes and she stood up and he helped a little. He helped her sink into the bath after he gave her some privacy to use the toilet. He didn't care but he didn't want to start the crying again. He had her in the bath and watched her for a bit telling his dick to calm down it wasn't going in there too. He began to recite the menus to her.

She only ordered off the desert menu he made sure that he actually ordered normal food for them to eat so she didn't just have a massive sugar high. By the time it arrived she was wrapped in a big fluffy white robe sitting on the bed cuddled up to a freshly showered Daryl who was in his own white fluffy robe talking about romantic comedies they could be watching.

He didn't mind watching what ever Carol wanted, this was her trip. She was putting a great deal of things to bed from before she was with him and he needed to just support her and let her cry, stamp her feet and throw things. It was going to let her heal some. Let them move on together, for a future together.
