The flight home was completely uneventful, I sat on the opposite side of the plane to Dan and we all fell asleep. When we arrived back at the university only a few students had returned from Christmas break so we had pretty much free range of the campus, so what did we do? We gathered those who were back and played a game of capture the flag with Dan and I as team captains, teams were as follows:

Dan's team base was the Wi dorm and we had Fi, we quickly drew a map of the campus and designated people's jobs, I'd play decoy, holding on to something that looked like our flag and run to "hide" it, Charlie really had the flag and was set to hide it in the main reception area. We had added the extra twist of having to track down the leader once you tracked down the other teams flag so I was supposed to abandon the fake flag and run to hide somewhere I wouldn't tell my other team mates as we are evil and let torture be included (only tickling, water guns and spoilers).

Tyler and Taylor were on watch for the others and quickly alerted us when the others left their dorm and we moved into action. I headed out of the dorm and towards the science block, Carrie and Joe ran after Zoe and PJ, Charlie made a speedy exit out of the back with Marcus and Alfie covering him, Chris, Tanya, Tyler and Taylor all ran in different directions and Joey headed to the roof to be on lookout. I didn't see where any of the rest of Dan's team went but I could hear someone behind me so I took a sharp left for the art block and abandoned the piece of fabric we had used as a decoy. I pressed up against the wall just in time to see Louise and PJ pick up the fabric and run past me. I breathed out a sigh of relief and head towards the main courtyard that separates the dorms, everyone appears to have disappeared and so I quickly sprint across to the tree houses. I run round the back of the building and find the treehouse Dan showed me when I first arrived.

I clambered up the ladder and sat down, I may have a long wait ahead as the only person that ever comes up here is Dan and he is being hunted by my team. I pull my phone out of my pocket and call Taylor to find out how everyone was doing.

"Hey Taylor, I'm hidden where is everyone?" I ask

"Charlie has the flag and is in place behind the armchairs, everyone else has split into two, half looking for the flag and half trying to find Dan"

"What do you mean find Dan? Do you guys not know where he is? How could you lose him?" I start to panic, if they find our flag and Dan finds me is over, I assumed they knew where he was!

"Amz chill, we got this, just keep hiding I'll call you later" she hung up the phone and I looked at my watch, we'd been playing for just over half an hour, but it felt like ages on my own.

"Aww worried we're gonna win Amz? How cute" Dan said frightening me as he came through the door.

"No not really, because we will obviously win!" I retorted standing up to get in his face.

"Sounds like you are to me" he stepped closer trying to intimidate me

"You… err know we err… can't both hide here right?" I faltered and he smirked.

"Well it was my tree house first Amz so out you go" he retaliated "plus I know where you are now and you know where I am so we might as well stay" he was getting really cocky these days and for some odd reason I really really liked it and so I kissed him, as hard and as passionately as I could.
