Chapter 38

The split second Black Wolf opened his eyes, Yahan and Kazehana grunted, clutching their heads in their hands and falling to their knees, shaking violently. The bloodlust was pounding through their bonds with Tobias again, but there seemed to be more then there had been before. Combined with it was a undercurrent of...joy? Dark and corrupted joy, but joy all the same.

Jenny noticed their distress and quickly pressed one hand to each of their heads. The second she did, the emotions were subdued and muffled.

"Are you two ok?" Jenny asked in concern while keeping a eye on the screen. Black Wolf was slowly flexing his left hand while looking at it, but they couldn't see his face.

"Better," Kazehana said shakingly while sweating slightly. "But the emotions we're getting are hard to deal with."

Jenny bit her lower lip, thinking of what she could do to help. Maybe she could tune down the bonds, but she wasn't as skilled at things like that as Dante. She lacked his experience and training, and if she turned down the bonds too much, she could accidently sever it permanently. So maybe...

"Can I try something?" She asked them both.

"What do you want to try?" Yahan asked.

"I can't stop Black Wolf, but I might be able to pull out a bit of Tobias so he doesn't kill anyone. But I'm going to need your bonds to provide a link into his mind."

"Isn't that dangerous?" Kagari asked worridly. He had seen first hand what Black Wolf had done to Bentisubasa on the bridge and he didn't want his Ashikabi to endanger herself by diving into the mind of...that.

"I'll be fine," she reassured him. "I'm just doing some poking around, I won't be staying in there any longer then I have to."

By now Black Wolf had stopped looking at his hand and had turned his attention to Karasuba. The Black Sekirei was shaking with excitement and had a smile on her face that showed how eager she was to fight while her sword was shaking slightly in anticipation. Black Wolf had twisted Tobias's mouth into a similiar expression while black mist was starting to curl off his form.

Kazehana and Yahan shared a look, then glanced at the screens.

"Ok." They chorused.

"Just relax." Jenny advised before closing her eyes and took a breath. She reached out to both of the Sekirei's mind, touching their bonds and using it to reach into Tobias's mind. However, since she was using a bond designed to convey emotions, she was tapped in to the bloodlust and dark excitement he was experiencing at the moment. Compared to how Tobias normally was, the change was shocking and sickening at the same time, but she ignored it the best she could.

She didn't see it since her eyes were closed, but the second Jenny touched Black Wolf's mind, he frowned on screen before looking directly into the camera. Everyone in the room except for Miya shivered when the white eyes seemed to stab directly into their souls. He snorted before jerking his head to the right slightly.

The second he did, Jenny, Kazehana, and Yahan screamed loudly in agony before Jenny yanked her hands back like she had been burned, clutching her head.

"Jenny!" Kagari was at her side in an instant.

"H...he kicked me out." She whimpered, wincing as she felt a enormous amount of pain radiating from her skull. No, that wasn't quite right. Kicking out would mean she had been...well, kicked out. What had actually happened would be better described as an attack. Black Wolf had sensed her mind probe, grabbed it, and ripped it into shreds all the way back to the source. Because of the way he had done it, Kazehana and Yahan were linked into that pain. That last point was what hit Jenny the hardest. "I...I couldn't feel Tobias in there. Whatever happened, he's not there."

Everyone looked at the screen just in time to see a slight smile on Tobias's face that sent a chill up the spine of everyone in the room, even Miya while Ku clung to her dress and hid behind her. A second later, a crack shot across the picture and wavered before blacking out.

Karasuba spared a glance at the tinkle of glass that she heard. What she saw was a traffic camera looking like it had been crushed in a trash compactor, the glass from the lens on the ground. A second later, the camera fell to the ground with a CLUNK. She brought her attention back to her target as he took a breath.

"It's good to finally be free again." Tobias said, rolling his head on his shoulders with a content expression on his face. Only difference was there was an growl hidden under his normal voice, which made Karasuba shiver in anticipation as her instincts warned her of danger. "I've spent too long in that subconscious of his. Thanks for pushing him." He said, opening his silver eyes and looking at her.

Karasuba didn't bother responding, instead choosing to attack. She attacked with blinding speed, instant on slashing downwards and forcing him into action. She was in mid swing when she felt herself...stop. All the muscles in her body clenched at once and she couldn't move. She couldn't even blink.

"You did help, but I can't let you kill me. I have unfished business to take care of." Tobias tilted his head and looked at his right hand. "I see everything that Tobias had come up with, but I don't have the same level of practice with those skills like he does. And I'm out of practice as it is." He smirked at Karasuba as she lifted off the ground, still not able to move. "Maybe you can help me get back into practice." He thrust his hand forward and Karasuba was sent flying, crashing in and through several buildings and out of sight.

Black Wolf flexed his hand. He heard a groan and spared a glance at the source. Seemed Dante's Neo powers had healed him and he was waking up. Sitting up and holding his head, he groaned again. "Oh man, what hit me?"

He looked up and spotted what looked like Tobias. "Tobias, where is...Kara..." He stopped asking his question when he fully registered the white eyes and black mist pouring off his friend.

Black Wolf smirked. "Soon, Price. But first, I need to get back in shape." He looked back at the hole that Karasuba had left and vanished, a cloud of dust showing he had been there.

"Oh, not good, so very, very not good." Dante said out loud. Things had just gone from bad to potentially catastrophic in however long he had been knocked out. And it would most likely get worse.

Karasuba grunted as she crashed through the last building and hit the ground, rolling for a few more yards before she stopped. She had lost count because of how fast she had gone, but unless she was mistaken, she had gone through a block worth of buildings in thirty seconds. And even for her superhuman body, going through that many walls at that speed had hurt and from the feel of it, fractured four ribs, three on the left, one on the right, and some vertabre in her spine. Plus she was covered in more bruises and cuts then she cared to count, her clothes ripped and smudged.

"He is paying for that." The grey haired grunted, forcing herself to get up to her feet, still feeling unsteady and weak from the pain going through her.

"Who's going to pay for what?"

Acting on instinct, Karasuba slashed behind her, but she hit...nothing?

"What the-?" She felt something smash into her face that felt suspiciously like a fist, followed by two hits to the ribs, chin, and having her legs kicked out from under her. She felt a foot smash into her broken ribs and grunted as pain flared in her side.

"I thought I'd get more of challange from the Black Sekirei. Still, this is good practice for me." Black Wolf commented from nowhere as she got up.

"Well, why don't you come out and we can have a proper fight?" Karasuba asked, slowly turning in a circle to search for her target.

"And let you have a chance at killing me? Nice try, but I can't be baited that easily."

Karasuba's instincts flared in warning as she blocked another punch from a Air Hand, only to recive a kick to the back that pushed her forwards. She recived two simultaneous punches to her ribs that was harder then the previous ones, making her cough up trace amounts blood.

"I can't believe Tobias had such a hard time with you." Karasuba snapped her head around to see Black Wolf leaning against a building on the corner with his arms folded and sword sheathed. "Then again, he doesn't have the same drive that I do so maybe that accounts for the missing edge."

Karasuba's respone was charging and slashing her sword at his right shoulder before she suddenly froze again.

"Did you know that the definition of insanity is trying the same thing over and over while expecting a different result?" Black Wolf asked in a conversationally tone while looking at the sword that was inches from his shoulder. "That's why I don't try the same thing twice. Because it's pointless and boring."

Karasuba smoothly lifted off the ground again before being hurled into a wall and smashing through it. She went through three more but that was it since her speed wasn't as high as before. Black Wolf waited a few seconds before he heard bricks being moved and Karasuba climbed out of the holes she had made, her clothes more ripped and dirty then before. She also looked curious and, if one imagined it, maybe slightly on guard.

Karasuba was in the most surreal position she had ever been in. When she fought, she was used to overpowering her oppenent while they hung back and tried to think of how to fight her while she watched them, amused. Now she was in that position, trying to figure out what to do since she couldn't even hit the guy. He barely even moved, just somehow picking her up and throwing her through things with what was apparently a thought!

Since physical attacks with her sword didn't work, she'd try something else. With that in mind, she lifted her sword over head and slashed down, sending a shockwave towards Black Wolf that tore up the pavement as it roared towards him. He huffed softly before it hit him and exploded, kicking up a gale force mixed with dust.

Karasuba kept her gaze on the spot, but narrowed her eyes so she didn't get dust in them. That had felt too easy.

And it turned out she was right when something exploded from the cloud, followed by a starburst of pain from her stomach before she was thrown backwards for the third time in the past ten minutes. Before she could crash into another building, something kicked her from behind, exuberating her cracked vertabre and ribs even more as she went up from the angle of the attack. Finally, she felt a kick to the stomach straight into the pavement, making a crater.

She coughed up slight amounts of blood from the damage she had just suffered and shakily forced herself to her feet, using her sword as support and wondering what had just happened.

"Now that ability I like."

She looked up to see the dust was clearly and Black Wolf hadn't budged a inch from his spot or have a speck of dust on him. The pavement was torn up within a foot of him and then simply stopped like the shockwave had run into a wall.

He was smiling slightly in amusement. "I'll give Tobias this, he knew how to come up with some creative stuff. Not to mention I can kick your ass without lifting a finger."

Karasuba tightened the grip on her sword and gritted her teeth, her pride demanding she make him pay for that assesment of her abilities. She knew she was being baited, she just didn't give a crap. Before she could attack, she felt all her muscles suddenly seize up again. She couldn't move no matter how hard she tried.

"Confused?" Black Wolf asked, pushing off the wall and walking towards her. "Want a hint? Well you see," he kept going without waiting for an answer, not that she could give one. "My powers allow me control over air, as you know. But, think about what that entitles for a second. I can use the air around us for an attack, either blunt," Karasuba felt something slam into her cheek, snapping her head around and cutting the inside of her cheek. Her head slowly moved back to look at him, blood starting to come from her mouth in a tiny stream. "Or sharp." This time two cuts on her biceps that sliced fairly deep and let the red liquid sheet her arms and drip down her fingers when they reached that far. She winced slightly at the unexpected sting while a unfamiliar feeling grew in her as she couldn't do anything to defend herself. Fear.

The Airbender started circling her when he reached. "But that's not the full extent. I can do things like suck the air from someone's lungs, suffocating them. Or maybe slice their lungs from the inside," he added thoughtfully. "I've seen those both happen before, and it's never quite painless. But I'm rambling, so let's move on." He stopped right in front of her and gazed into her gray eyes while she looked back into his silver, a involuntary shiver running up her spine as she saw the same thing she saw in the mirror. Carelessness of anything, a small desire to see the world burn, but she also saw a small hint of twisted amusement and delight. He was enjoying this.

"Blood is a essential system in most sentient life forms, a way for the body to transfer things like oxygen or nitrogen or whatever they've evolved to breath to their cells. So, they have air in their blood, with the circulatory system running everywhere in the body. And I control air. Yep," he saw Karasuba's eyes widen and shock in them as she realized what he was going for. "That means I can take control of the small traces in you and use them to move you like a puppet." Karasuba unwillingly lifted her sword and made a small cut in her right thigh, drawing blood before lifting it to her throat. "It's another form of what people are apparently calling airbending. I guess the proper name for it would be blood bending then."

The Black Sekirei, leader of the fourth generation Displinary Squad, terror of the Sekirei Plan and who went through higher numbered Sekirei like a lawn mower through grass, was now terrified out of her mind as she felt the cold steel of her own sword against her throat in preparation to slit it. She was also cursing her own pride for pushing this far. When she had heard and seen that Tobias was far stronger then he had first looked, she had wanted to test him and maybe get a good fight from him. The events at the lodge had made her slightly catious of him but that had only faded so when the third round arrived, she went to force him to get serious so she could get a real fight. She hadn't even considered she'd be so far outclassed she couldn't even run on the off chance she needed to.

Her hand tightened against her will, the only sign before she felt a slight cut on her neck. She closed her eyes, waiting for the pain to arrive while she heard a sharp zing as her sword cut the air. One heartbeat. Two heartbeats.

"Boring." The snorted word prompted her to open her eyes. Black wolf was standing with his arms crossed and her sword pointing at him, a slight red smear on the edge. She blinked, wondering what had happened. "You're not even worth the effort of killing if you give up that easily. I've had beings less powerful then you struggle before their life's ended, and you just gave up." He snorted and Karasuba threw her blade to her right, embedding it into the pavement twenty feet away. "Well, I normally kill people like you just so there's less weak willed creatures in the world, but you did help me get use to this body again, so I'll let you go this time. Just be sure to remember that I let you live."

Before Karasuba could get angry over that sentence, she felt the air leave her lungs followed by hit to both her temples. She was uncouncious before she hit the ground.

Black Wolf cracked his neck and sighed. "Come out Price, or do I have to drag you out?"

A stream of neon colors raced from one of the alleys and resolved next to Karasuba into the Timelord hybrid. He kept a cautious eye on Black Wolf but he simply, turned his back and walked a few feet away while Dante checked over Karasuba. She had more bruises then he had time to count, from the feel of it a few fractures ribs and bones in bother her arms and leg, some minor interal bleeding in her abdominal area. Some cracked vertabre that, had they taken any more abuse, could've resulted in her losing control of her legs. He grimaced as he realized this before sending a healing pulse of Neon power into her, running, grabbing her sword, running back, and sheathing it. He then picked her up and put her on the side of the street so she would be reasonable safe.

"Finished tending to the sleeping killer?" He heard as he stood. Dante then felt all his muscles seize and was yanked backwards into a opposite building, almost smashing through the wall. He groaned as he fell to the ground, because, even withhis pain tolerance and his powers healing him, that hurt. He rolled toward the side and heard steel sliding into the asphalt. He saw Tobias's sword on the ground right where his head should've been and the white eyes from the bridge looking at him. A blood thirsty grin that put Karasuba's to shame. Acting on instinct, he aimed and fire a Neon Blast into his chest, sending him tumbling through the air to land on his feet and skid back. Some smoke was rising from the point of impact, but the durable material wasn't even singed.

'This isn't going to be easy.' Dante thought to himself before he transformed into neon energy again and ran towards the teen, swinging his chain as he turned solid again. Black Wolf blocked with his sword and the two were left in a stalemate, trying to push the other back. "Give me back my friend."

"Not likely. Divine Roar!" The concussive blast threw him back again while his ears were ringing. He got his footing back and Neon ran out of the way of a Divine Wind Blade that sliced through the street like butter. He needed to move this fight away from Karasuba before it escelated. He may not like her, but he didn't want her killed, so he poured on the speed and ran up the side of a tall building. He jumped when he got the ledge, which combined with the pulsating after images of him made it look odd. He manged to get a few blocks away before he heard a boom to his right and felt a foot slam into his ribs. Despite the fact he was raw energy, that energy could still be disrupted to deal him damage, and this much being felt at one time forced him into slid form while he went through several buildings before plowing a thirty foot trench in the street.

He coughed up a large amount of blood as his injuries healed. He would've said ow if his side wasn't pulverized from being hit at super sonic speeds. He winced as he dragged himself out the hole he was in, his healing working over time to get him back in shape.

"Oh, I bet that hurt." Black Wolf said as he drifted down and landed next to Dante, looking down at the Timelord with dark amusement. "So, how's it feel to be getting the crap kicked out of you by your best friend's body?"

"Not the first time it's happened, but still painful." He coughed up blood again, but less then before as he was almost healed. "Probably won't be the last."

"Oh, it will be." Black Wolf savagely slammed his foot into Dante's ribs, knocking to the ground with a groan as his ribs cracked again. "After all, I was made to kill you, and I plan on doing just that."

"Yeah, figured that." Dante grunted as he waited for his ribs to heal, the white eyed entity starting to circle him. "How the hell are you even doing this? I saw the inside of Tobias's psyche and you weren't there."

"Oh, I was. You were just looking in the wrong place. You see, I was buried, in his subconscious." Black Wolf knelt next to him, sword point down. "You know the story of how Tobias slowly came to be? No? Well, from his point of view he slowly turned from me into him, due to positive experiences and sights of humanity he did when we were with The Silence. Well, you see, that's not quite true. You know how The Silence make weapons, don't you Dante?"

Oh yes, he was very familiar with how that orginization operated and made weapons. With River they mentally conditioned her so that when the time came, she couldn't stop herself from shooting the Doctor at Lake Silenceo in Utah, and they implanted that conditioning by using their post hypnotic suggestion abilities. But the thing was, until the suggestion was activated, it laid dormant and didn't do a thing, so it was hidden by the normal thoughts and feelings of a mind. The psychic white noise he called it.

"So, you see, I can't go away. I'm programmed, I guess you would say, to be a part of this body, my body, until you're dead or I die trying. But, the problem was that even though all those impressions and ideals I saw slid right off me, they gathered in the backwaters of my mind. They gathered, coalescing into..."

"Tobias." Dante grunted as he pushed himself up on one arm. "They made Tobias."

"There's the infamous Timelord thinking. And now for your reward."

Dante cried out as the skin and muscle of his arm was cut, right down to the tendons so his arm went limp and he fell to the ground. That was followed by a invisible blow to the chest that sent him flying through the air and rolling across the ground again, leaving blood smears across the ground as his inured arm pressed against the ground. The teen hissed in and out while pressing a hand to his arm, blood welling between his fingers while his powers worked overtime again. This was getting dangerous fast. Black Wolf was in complete control of Tobias's body and he couldn't fight back until he got the full story and figured out how to get his friend back.

"Bet that hurt, huh?" A foot slammed into his chest over his right heart, cracking the ribs and sending more pain through his body. He glared up at the white eyes that looked back with amusement. "Now, where was I? Oh, yes, Tobias. You see, as time went on, his personality slowly grew and took shape, but the irony is it was so slow and subtle, I didn't notice. The Silence didn't notice, until eventually he grew strong enough to take over as the dominant mind, but to his perspective he grew out of me. Or rather, I became him. What actually happened is that by the time he took over, I wasn't strong enough to stop him from locking me into his subconscious, where I stayed for all this time."

"Those nightmares...those were your doing, weren't they?" Dante growled as peices coming toghther.

The corner of Black Wolf's mouth twitched. "You figured it out. Yes, as you've peiced toghether, I could come out, but only when Tobias was filled with rage or self doubt like that little bridge escape you tried. You see, sealing me requires a large amount of power and mental strength, but Tobias doesn't notice because he's doing it without realizing it. But when he draws on that little resource, it lets me leak out and influence him while his strength grows. And afterwards, when he was wracked with guilt from what he had done on that bridge, his defenses weakened enough that reaching into his slumbering mind became workable. It was so easy to stir up his fears make them real to him."

"You wanted to break him." Dante snarled.

"Exactly. If I had broken his ego permanently, then I would become the only personality and taken back what is rightfully my body." Black Wolf frowned. "But those two Sekirei of his and you locked me out, calmed his fears. And then him sleeping with those two only added to his confidence. If I tried to brute force my way through the barrier, I would've destroyed myself, or you or Jenny or his two bond buddies would've noticed when I took control and destroyed me yourselves. But," Black Wolf pressed down on his chest and leaned over, smile returning. "Then Karasuba showed up and push him to his limits, until he had no choice but to let me out. Now, I'm in complete control and he's gone forever. And while this has been fun, it's time to do what I made to do."

"Good luck with that." Dante suddenly smirked. Having all the information he needed, he was ready to fight. He closed his eyes before they snapped open, glowing neon as his body transformed into energy that flared with unnatural radiance, like a miniature sun. Uncomfortable seeing the light, but looking right at the source was blinding.

"AAAHHHHH!" Black Wolf was doing just that and ended up being seeing nothing but a field of white as needles stabbed into his skull and he staggered back, covering them as spots danced before his eyes. Dante shut down the light show and neon ran away from Black Wolf. Said entity fired a Air Pulse and 'saw' him. "You can't run Price!" He bellowed, swinging his head in the direction he sensed the Timelord going.

"Not running!" Dante shouted back, skidding to a stop and facing the teen from fifteen feet away. "Just needed some distance for this!" He grinned as he channeled large amounts of energy to his hands, shifting them back into the energy form as his body stayed solid. "Double Neon Blast!" He thrust his hand forward and fired the attacks. He had already given the attacks twice the energy they would normally get, but as they raced towards their target they merged into a single beam that was twice as thick and four times more powerful than a regular attack. It crashed into Black Wolf and exploded, sending him flying through the air until he crashed through a building and from the sounds, multiple walls.

Dante wasn't too worried. Aside from the fact that Tobias's body (he refuses to call it Black Wolf's) was already insanely durable and that was only enhanced by the suit he had given him, the most he'd had to deal with is bruises. But it made a good delaying tactic while he called up his friends. He neon ran up a nearby building and quickly ran three blocks away before stopping a rooftop.

He tapped his Ultramatrix a few times and a ring tone came from it before there was a click. "Dante." Matsu's voice came through.

"Tell me that the Machine is blocking all of this."

"According to her, she'a keeping MBI in the dark and is locking out control of their cameras and satellites, but she's letting us see everything."

"Terrific, so you know what's going on," he said sarcastically, even if it was a good thing. It saved him valuable time from explaining. "Is Jenny there?"

"With a killer headache." Jenny spoke up.

"You tried reaching his mind through his bonds with his Sekirei didn't you?" The silence that followed was his answer. "Ok, while that a good idea, I'm now telling you it was a very bad idea, but that's besides the point at the moment. Matsu, I need you to prevent MBI from coming here, because things are going to get violent fast. If you can't do that, slow them down. The rest of you, stay at the inn while I handle this."

"Dante, he was designed to kill you, you can't fight him alone." Jenny told him.

"I know, but I'm not letting you get dragged into this. I..."

Dante's instincts screamed at him seconds before a shoulder slammed into him and he was sent flying, again, and saw sky as his back was to the ground before Black Wolf blurred into existance above him, sword in both hands and above his head. Dante's chain blocked it but the momentum of the sword swing sent him rocketing to the ground. The asphalt cracked under his feet and he quickly got out of the way as a Divine Punishment hit the ground and made a wide crater. Black Wolf hit the ground in a crouch.

"So, you want fight dirty? Fine," he stood up and fixed a malevolent smile on his face. "Here's a trick Tobias never showed you!" He inhaled before letting out a sonic scream that sounded like nails on a chalkboard, to the power of ten. Dante clutched his ears as the sound wave assaulted his ear drums and even shattered some glass.

'He must be vibrating the air to achieve this kind of pitch.' Dante analyzed the attack even if it felt like his skull was splitting open. It wasn't outside the realm of possibility, because that's all sound really was. Vibrations through the air, and if what Black Wolf said was true, he had much more control and power at his disposal then Tobias simply because he wasn't held back by anything.

The sound stopped, leaving his ears ringing and skin numb, but his instincts were still sharp and they compelled him to jump to the right, allowing him to dodge a sword slash, which he saw when he could open his eyes. He fired a Neon Beam only for it to hit a invisible wall of air.

"Forget it Price." Black Wolf tapped its head. "I've got all of Tobias's memories, which means I know how those Neon, Smoke, and all those other powers work."

"Then it's a good thing I've got plenty more." The dial popped up on the Ultramtrix and Dante moved to twist the ring before his body seized and he was left unable to move. At the same time, he felt his hearts suddenly struggling to pump and the pain was terrible.

"Ah, ah, ah. You don't think I'm stupid enough to let you change do you?" Black Wolf waved his finger like he was talking to a child. "I admit you almost drew me into a real fight, but I'm not going to risk you getting away or somehow killing me. Now, put you arms down."

The Timelord couldn't have refused if he wanted to, since his limbs were moving on their own.

"Good Timelord." The teen chuckled, approaching Dante and patting his head condescendingly. "Now, let's see, where did you put that sonic of yours?"

"Why would-" Dante grunted as his chest pain flared. "Why would you want my sonic?"

Black Wolf started patting his pockets. "Well, I'm feeling a bit like putting on a show. Must be from that other weapon River."

"River is not a weapon." Dante growled.

"Actually she is. She was born to kill the Doctor like I was born to kill you...ah, there it is." Black Wolf took out the device from Dante's hoodie pocket. He flipped and caught it with his free hand. "Now, if I understand these memories right, you've have The Machine, original name, by the way, monitor and regulate MBI's cameras so if there was something you didn't want them and the general public to know and see, it would automatically take control of the video feeds, block anyone from seeing them, and then erase them, that about right?" Dante didn't respond, but he suddenly had a sinking feeling in his stomach as a hungry grin formed on Tobias's face. "So, what happens if I use this sonic to mess with its programming a bit. Like, say, have it broadcasting to every computer and TV in the city?"

"No!" Dante grunted, both hearts feeling like they were in a vice as he was forced to his knees. "You can't do that," he hissed. "We'll both be exposed, and everyone back at the inn."

"Hhmm. Well, really, I'll just be exposed. You'll be dead. As for the others at the inn," Black Wolf looked at a CCTV camera that had a red light on inside the casing. "Well, I'll decide what to do with them later. In the meantime, smile. We're about to be on TV." He pointed the sonic and pressed the button, the whirr filling the still night air.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no!" Matsu was almost breaking her keyboard as her fingers hammered at lightning speed on the keys while her monitors started flickering.

"He can't really do that, can he?" Kagari asked Jenny.

The blonde looked unnaturally pale at the scene that was playing out before them, images brought to them by the same program that was now glitching. "With a sonic, you can do and manipulate anything digital unless it's deadlock sealed, and he can what he just said very easily."

"And he is!" Matsu went to another screen and kept typing. "My system is being overriden and all the feeds we're getting are now being broadcast everywhere in the city, including MBI headquarters! I can't stop it!"

Nobody else had anything to say, but even Musubi could tell that this situation had taken a very bad turn.

"And...there." Black Wolf stopped so icing the camera after the light, which had started blinking when he had turned on the sonic, stopped and remained steady. "We're now all over the city." He smiled before the silver instrument floated out of his hand and hovered for a few seconds before it was crushed into a ball. It then fell to the ground with a crunch. "And now it can't be reversed. At least not quickly." He snorted before dedicating his attention to Dante again. "So, any last words before you lose your head?"

"Actually, yeah, I've got a few." Dante glared at the abomination in front of him that had been molded for the sole purpose of killing him, and that had taken his friends body. "Firstly, you are going to regret showing your ugly face to me, because when I'm through with you, there will be nothing left."

Black Wolf shivered in mock terror. "Oh, I'm so scared." He leaned over to eye level. "Don't make threats that can't be backed up Dante. It only tarnishes what's left of your dignity."

"Secondly, you seem to have forgotten something about me." Dante saw the frown that formed and let himself smirk. "I don't need to touch the Ultramtrix to change powers."

White eyes widening in shock, Black Wolf swung his sword with the intent to slice through the neck of his captive. A foot away from the skin, a red flash filled the air, blinding him and then fading to show Dante was gone with the smell of sulfur and blue smoke in the air. He had just...vanished. He then felt a arm wrap around his neck and his legs kicked out before he was thrown into the ground. He flipped up and stabbed only for there to be the same smoke and smell.

"I'm over here." Black Wolf snapped his head around to see Dante had a smug grin now, smoke curling around him before his expression turned serious. "Get ready. Because I'm beating the crap out of you and then getting my friend back, Black Wolf."

A/N from lostsoldier: I apologize for not updating this in ahwile. Jason and I have been busy with college & work. Also few things I got to announce. Firstly, is that Bleach will be edited. We've noticed the flubs so we're going back to fix those and hopefully updated that. Secondly is that vampire season 1 is being re-written. Expect the first chapter changed some time soon. Other than that, the poll for the upcoming Naruto story is finished. Now on to you Jason.

A/N from Jason Grace: Thanks. But yeah, now that we've had some time to go back to our earlier works and have some experience under our belts, you can really appreciate how far we've come. And how bad our writing was. Well, I've got some experience, I don't know about other people. cough lostsoldier cough

lostsoldier: Bite me! I have trouble writing this stuff alright?! Besides the outlines I come up with should be good enough. That and Winter Sekirei was entirely my idea.

Jason Grace: Key word being should. But I'll concede Winter Sekirei is this guys idea.

lostsoldier: Anyway aside from that, do you want to know what won for the Naruto poll?

Jason Grace: Hhmm...nah, let's torture them a bit.

lostsoldier: Dude we've barely told them anything about it. Aside from the teasers, they should know the change we're going to make to the story. And it isn't really spoiling anything

Jason Grace: Well~...fine, but just because...actually there's really no reason, I just feel like it.

lostsoldier: Whatever. Anyway the poll I set up was to see what majority would want to see Kuruma and Haku be female. Reason being because with the fox it would give us more comedic effect and with Haku...well let's just say-

Jason Grace: It's because the guy looks too much like a girl.

lostsoldier: Exactly. So the winning vote is making them girls.

Jason Grace: Oh, while we're on the subject of females that kick ass, I'd like do let everyone know, I'm making my own little Buffy Crossover with tobias and the girls.

lostsoldier: it's called The Black Wolf comes to Sunnydale. Check it out it's a pretty good read.

Jason Grace: And before you people start criticizing me, let me tell you something. It is not easy coming with a title to a story. Story itself is easy if you can see it happening, but titles are hard damn it!

lostsoldier: By the way I'm the one who got him into Buffy and Angel.

Jason Grace: And Doctor Who. In exchange, I got him hooked on Castle.

lostsoldier: Speaking about that, for the rewrite of vampire, you'll see Dante and Inner Moka's relationship be like Castle and Beckett's. Including a few humiliations.

Jason Grace: Meaning Dante is going to be a man-child getting scolded and making unreasonable theorize to drive people nuts. And he'll be Hooch of the two. Like somebody I know. cough lostsoldier cough

lostsoldier: Shut up. More like Batman. Adam West Batman, but still Batman. Oh and before we go, we are also planning to make another crossover with both Dante and Tobias alone. Should I give them a hint?

Jason Grace: Um, you might want to. I'm actually not sure which one you're talking about since we've been tossing ideas back and forth for a while.

lostsoldier: Well I'm not referring to all the solo stories you're putting Tobias in-

Jason Grace: Might! Might, be putting in. I'm toying with the ideas.

lostsoldier: Well send me the ideas are coming out solid. But anyway, here's a hint to the I believe only Tobias and Dante standalone. Meaning no girls and no Dr. Who characters. References aside.

Jason Grace: Right. And it is...

lostsoldier: Riddle me this: Who has gone through Air, Spirit, Change and currently Balance?

Jason Grace: Oh, right! That one! Also drop the "rIddle me this," you're not a super-villain despite what you might think.

lostsoldier: Not my fault that I love the Batman Arkham games. Speaking of which maybe you should put Tobias in one of those.

Jason Grace: It's a crappy series in my opinion, so, doubtful.

lostsoldier: ...

Jason Grace: What?...Should I start running?

lostsoldier: No. Just go inside a deadlocked room and play all three games.

Jason Grace: not, likely.

lostsoldier: Fine. I'll just go play Bioshock and try and find a way to write Dante into all three games. Plus bringing back an Classic Who villian.

Jason Grace: Good luck with that. In the meantime, I'm going to go write some Buffy.

lostsoldier: K...wait.

Jason Grace: What?

lostsoldier: We still got to rewrite vampire.

Jason Grace:...I got to go, bye!

lostsoldier: Dammit! Get back here!(Teleports engulfed in flame)
