Chapter 37

Bella's POV

What the hell does that mean? My dad isn't my dad?

Angela stood from behind me, gaping like a fish.

"What the hell Mom? He's not my dad?" I asked.

"No. Charlie Swan was oh never your father Isabella," Renee seethed.

"He was more of a father then you were a mother!" I snapped at her.

Leah screeched from behind me, covering her ears.

"Angela take Leah away," Mom said.

Angela just rolled her eyes.

"What did I say? Come on Leah. Let's go out to the car," Angela said, guiding through all of us.

When she reached the hall, she sneered at Renee and walked off.

"You let me believe he was my father my whole damn life," I said, pissed at them.

"He raised you Bella. He was your father," Mom, Sue, said.

"He was never my father! I was a child of a fucking affair!" I said.

"Bella!" Edward said.

"It was not an affair Isabella," Renee said.

"Then what did you call it Renee? Cheating on Charlie?" I asked.

"He is your father! Biological or not Isabella! You do not call him by his name," Mom said.

"He knew you were never his child! He knew Isabella! If he knew, why would you call it an affair?" she seethed

I paused.

"Why didn't he ever tell me? Why did I have to figure out my dad, who isn't my dad today? Why didn't you tell me?!" I asked, wanting to know answers.

"I think it would be better if we came in the apartment Bella, people are beginning to stare," Sue said.

I didn't say anything. I just turned around from my spot in the doorway and walked into my apartment.

It made me wonder, who is my father, if Charlie Swan is not?

"If my father isn't Charlie, who is?" I asked.

Renee just stood there, scoffing.

"Why would I tell you?" she asked.

"He is my father, Renee! I should have the right to know who he is," I snapped at her.

"I'm not going to tell you, even if you get on your hands and knees and beg," Renee snapped.

When Renee came into the apartment she immediately looked down at the floor, to see my newborn daughter sleeping in her carrier.

"Who is this? She's obviously not yours Isabella," Renee said.

Sue clenched her fists, obviously irritated with Renee. I hated how Renee thought my baby wasn't my baby.

"She's mine," I said.

Renee laughed.

"Keep dreaming Isabella," she said, rolling her eyes.

"That's enough! I'm tired of you being a total bitch to my family! You aren't supposed to be in my life, remember? You promised you would never even think on coming toward me again, Renee!" I snapped.

"I still have the damn right to see you Isabella. There is no damn law that makes it so I can't see my daughter," she seethed.

"Like hell there isn't!" Mom, Sue, said.

"I have no restrictions on seeing her Susan," Renee seethed.

"You should!" I said.

"Bella. Calm down," Edward said, putting a hand on my shoulder.

He was right, I needed to calm down. I was mad at my mothers, from keeping my father not being my dad my whole life, but I had to stop and calm down.

"Fine. This is enough. Get out," I said.

"Bella—"Mom said.

"I'm not going back mother. He lied to me my whole life. Why would I visit him? He's not my father," I said.

"He still raised you Bella," Mom said.

"Out of what? Pity?!" I asked, starting to get angry again.

"He raised you because he loved you," Mom said.

"Right," Renee said.

"Then why did he raise her after you left Renee? Tell me that!" Mom said.

"Because her father would have never even wanted her. He had enough crap to deal with," Renee said.

"What did my father have to do Renee? I was his daughter, he should have at least helped Charlie raise me!" I said.

"He had another child Isabella. You aren't his only daughter! He was a player. He still is," she said

"Renee just tell her who the man is," Mom said.

"I'm not going to tell her Susan!" Renee said.

"I'm going to take the girls to the other room Bella," Edward said, interrupting our argument.

I waved him off as he took care of the whining girls. I hadn't even noticed my daughters needed me. All because of Renee coming into my life…again.

"Renee. Tell her. I'll be in the other room," Mom said giving up.

"No! Don't you dare leave me with her," I said.

She ignored me as she walked off to follow Edward. I looked over at Renee and scrunched up my face, I wasn't very happy to see her, all alone and no one to interrupt us.

"I'm not telling you who he is," she said.

"I didn't expect you to. Did I ever ask you to? No! It was never me Renee!" I said.

"You have to go with Susan," she said.

"No! Charlie was never my dad! He's a total stranger to me. Never related to me," I said.

"Well that's not true exactly Isabella," she said.

"What the hell is that supposed to mean?" I snapped.

"You want to know who your father is Isabella. Hmm? Is it that interesting to know?" she asked.

"Maybe when he knows of me, but I don't even know his damn name Renee!" I said.

"You really want to know?" she whispered.

"Renee!" I said.

"Your father is your Uncle Denny," she whispered at my face.

She stood up straight and didn't say another word before she walked out the door.

"Bella?" Mom asked.

Soo...Miss me?

The chapter is short, I know, but it's up and that's what matters...right? Renee is so not out of the story, I love writing her anger!

Sorry this took so long, as people saw me update other things. I went to write this a while ago while it was still at where Bella snapped at Renee for promising not to be in her life, and...nothing. So if the end is confusing, and skips around, while the beginning is confusing also with the end, that's why.

No update next week. Big Tests next week...yes that is what I said, the horrible ACT and MME. Guess who is nervous? This girl!

Enough of my rants :)

Review if you want!
