We walked through the royal garden, they had ice flowers, everything was so beautiful, we walked around the garden, "Oh you have something..." I said as I got close to Jack and lifted my finger to his face, he stood still as I got closer, I quickly kissed his cheek and touched it, "There" I said as I started to laugh, he began to laugh
I seen Jack grinning at me, "I think I seen something on you too" He said as I turned around, I grabbed my dress and began to run, I ran laughing as he began to chase me, I turned around and he wasn't there, I made a confuse face and looked around I heard a swoosh behind me, I turned around and saw nothing
Suddenly I felt his arms around my waist, lifting me in the air, I started to laugh as he put me down, I turned around and started walking backwards as he smiled, I was laughing as I seen him walking towards me
I accidentally stepped on my dress and fell backwards as I pulled Jack with me, I fell on my back, against the snowy ground as Jack and I rolled on the floor, I laid on my back and Jack was on top of me, we started to laugh as Jack pressed his forehead against mine
He stood up and helped me up, "Are you hurt?" He asked as I smiled, "No" I said as he smiled, we kept walking, "So why don't you have a girlfriend-" I said as my foot sunk in the snow, I was about to fall when Jack grabbed my hand and pulled into his arms
"Looks like I have to save you from trouble" Jack said as I looked at him, I smiled, "I guess so" I said as I looked at my foot, I tried to pull it out but I couldn't, Jack smiled and bent down, he grabbed my foot and pulled up, moving the snow, he let my leg go and stood up
"Thank you" I said as he smiled, "So why don't you have a girlfriend?" I asked him, "Cause I'm looking for the one you know, devil and a angel mixed in one" He said as I smiled, "What about you?" He asked me, "Well I guess cause I want someone who wants me for me, and doesn't want me to change" I said as he smile
We kept on talking and laughing, I was having so much fun I had forgotten about everything else, I seen Jack pranking his servants as I laughed, I grabbed a snowball and threw it at Jack, He smirked as he tried to get me back, I kept running and hiding from him, I had to keep my cloak around me, but I was getting too warm, I wanted the icy cold air against my skin but I couldn't, it didn't want them to suspect anything
"So now you know huh" Jack said suddenly as I looked at him, "Know what?" I asked as he looked at me, "That I'm adopted" He said softly, "Hey there's nothing wrong about that, you have parents that love you even if you don't carry their blood" I said as I grabbed his hands as he smiled
I saw he had a necklace exactly like the one I bought Andy, "Hey where did you get that necklace?" I asked him and he grabbed it, "I don't know, one day it just appeared on me, I liked so much I didn't take it off" He said as I gave a small smile
"Why?" He asked as looked at him, "Just, its beautiful" I said as he smiled, "I also lost my Ipod when I woke up with this necklace" He said as I looked at him strange, I grabbed the Ipod from my pocket and took it out, "Well this appeared one day in my room" I said as I showed it to him, "Hey thats my Ipod" He said with a laugh
"Oh well here" I said confused, handing it to him, He looked at me and smiled, "Keep it" He said as I shook my head, "Ofe please, keep it" He said as I smiled, "Ok" I said as I put it in my pocket
"Princess, I'm sorry to interrupt but we must go back, we have far too much work" Hermies said as I nodded, "I will walk you t the docks" Jack said as I smiled, my guards and Hermies followed us to the docks to our ship
We seen our ship was ready for sail, I turned to Jack, "Jack, please excuse me from my aunt and uncle, it was so nice seeing you again" I said as he smiled
"Please come and visit soon" Jack said as he took me into his arms, we hugged each other until he let go, he kissed my cheek as I blushed, Hermies walked up the plank onto the ship as I walked after him
"Raise the anchor!" The men yelled as I was on, I turned to Jack and waved as he smiled, he blew kiss with his hand and a snowflake flew towards me, I softly caught the snowflake, 'Love you' its said as I smiled, it began to melt in my hands
I looked at Jack and he winked at me, I smiled as my ship started to take off, I went down stairs and took off the cloak, the cold air touched my skin as I smiled, I closed my eyes and felt the cold air surround me, It felt so good
Suddenly the ship felt like a rocket, it zoomed forward fast that it made me fell back against the couch, I grunted once I fell, my dress flew on top on me, I couldn't see anything but the dress fabric, I was sliding off the couch as I tried to hang on, I threw the dress fabric off me and it fell back to normal
I threw my hands on the couch gripping on, the ship was rocking and sailing pretty fast, I thought I was on a sail ship not a rocket I thought, I was loosing my grip on the couch, "No no no" I said as my hand slipped and I fell off the couch
I slid fast against the floor ad my back hit the wall, suddenly my cloak slid down and hit me on my face, I heard footsteps coming down the stairs, I quickly got the cloak and managed click it around me, but it was still covering my face, I felt the ship slowing down
"Prince Jack as help us with a good breeze home, we will be arriving real soon..." I heard Hermies voice trailed off, I picked up the cloak off my face and looked at Hermies, I laughed as I seen his wide eyes, "A pretty strong breeze" I said as I threw the cloak off me and tried to get up, He ran towards me and helped me up, "Princess are you ok?" He asked as I chuckled, "Yes I had quite a ride" I said as he chuckled
The two weeks passed by as I kept with all the trading business with all the royals, my parents were coming home soon, the business trade was excellent, all the kings and queens who doubted I can run the business were pleased of how well I was doing
Andy kept insisting in visiting me, but I always deny him, I didn't need distractions with him, and especially with the hatred feeling I still had towards him, he claimed it was business related, since he was not officially crown prince then I had no business with him but only with the king
I informed King Erdendor about Andy, and immediately Andy stop insisting with the visits, Faragonda kept me updated with Blooms grades and with mine, those two weeks were every busy for me, The duke of Weselton kept insisting with a trade, a tour of the kingdom or a dinner with his prince for fine jewels, I denied it and Hermies agreed with my decision
We didn't need jewels, we already had some in from another royal, and to just ask for a dinner with me or a tour of my kingdom doesn't seem like a business trade, but the duke kept insisting until I told them to inform him that I will think about it, even though I didn't have much to think about
His prince on the other hand kept sending me letters, in saying how beautiful he thought I was, that on my princess ball he didn't have the guts to come up to talk to me, and he regretted ever since then, that he wanted to come to my kingdom and have dinner with me to get to know me better, every day he wrote a letter and everyday I would read them and burn them to ash
I wrote letters to Jack, and he responded quickly, we talked about each other likes and dislikes, we had so much in common, he loves to pull pranks, trick people, just like me, I told him about myself as he told me about him, I noticed I was starting to like Jack, but was this a crush? Or just a lust? A lust? I didn't think so, maybe it was a crush, but my question was, did Jack have a crush on me?
Daphne had send me a video message and showed me how much fun they were having, it seem as if the party went on every day, every day they did something new, I smiled asI seen my father bobbing for apples, and laughed when my mother was blinded folded and had to pin a tail on the picture of a horse, "We miss you, and we love you little sister" Daphne said at the end of the message
The maids also insisted in coming in my room, to make sure all my dress fit perfectly for all my duties and tried to come in with my breakfast, live lighting fish from the lost island, They always say 'Eating it raw does wonders for you skin, and your hair! It makes princesses even more beautiful' I say 'YUCK!' And every time I had to run and press against the door, in order for them not to come in, they were persistent in coming in, but every time Hermies came to my rescue, He was the only one allowed in my room
And every time he was in, he would always see that my room was always filled with snow, He would bring my food into my room, my new gowns, everything I needed he would be the only one to bring it to me, we would talk about the trading business, and trying to come up with new stuff to trade for
We had to trade what we don't really need for something we do, Hermies kept telling me that the Duke of Weselton kept insisting about his trade, and every day Hermies would bring me a letter from the price of Weselton and from Jack, like always, I would read the princes of Weselton and burn it to ash while I heard Jacks and reply to his, I didn't have a good feeling about this trade with the duke, I didn't want to slip up and let him see I was born with the curse so I didn't accept his offer but the duke kept insisting
And at last the day had arrived for my parents to come back home, I wondered if they were still going to keep me as the official crowned princess, I had so many questions for my parents, But I was happy that my parents were coming real soon, At last I wouldn't feel so alone anymore
I opened my eyes and rushed to my closet, today was the day my parents were coming, I put on my similar blue gown, all my gowns where up to my toes, touching the floor, and grabbed my light blue gloves, I fixed my hair and rushed out the door, I walked down stairs and headed for the throne room
"Hermies!" I shouted as he turned to look at me as I entered the Throne room, "Princess" He said as I calmed down, "Any news from my parents?" I asked him quickly, "Yes they already left Downland" Hermies said as I smiled, I felt like I was going to burst of joy
I twirled and giggled, "My princess is excited" Hermies said as I giggled, "Its been two long weeks!" I said then suddenly the door burst open, Hermies and I looked at the guard who burst in, "Hermies! We got a distress call from the royal plane" The guard said
"What!?" I asked, "Go, go!" Hermies yelled as the guard ran out with Hermies behind, I grabbed my long gown and ran after them, this was no time for proper formalities, it was a good thing I always wore flats now
I followed them into the communication room, I stopped when I entered the room, "Play it" Hermies said as they did what he said, there was a lot of static, "Help... Val... Ofe.. We.. love.. you... its... No!... Val... Valtor!... No!..." I looked at the men, Valtor? Who was he? "They disappeared" The guard said as he began to type on the computer, "Theres no sign of their... life source" the guard said as they looked at me
I gasped, "No.." My voice left, I started to breathe fast, I grabbed my head and felt my body shake, no no no! I felt tears wanting to burst out my eyes, "No.. no.. they.. no.. they can't.. no!" I said as my voice kept cutting off
I felt my tears running down my cheeks, "No!" I yelled as I ran out the room, I felt my power wanting to burst out, I grabbed my dress as I ran to my room, tears kept falling, I covered my face as I tried to hold in my sobs, I ran past the guards and the maids, bumping on to them, I got to my room and burst the door opened and slammed it shut
I let my self slide down against the door, I let out the sobs and tears, "NO!" I yelled as the tears kept coming, I slammed my fist on the floor, I seen the weather quickly got cloudy, with lighting and rain as I cried, they couldn't be dead, they just couldn't! I felt my heart sink to the floor
I pulled my knees to my chest and placed my head against my knees and kept sobbing for what felt like hours, Pull yourself together, they aren't dead! I stood up and saw the clouds breaking up, I headed for the restroom, I turned on the hot water, I took off my gloves and took a deep breath, I cupped my hands and let the hot water on my hands, I quickly splashed my face
I quickly put on my gloves and dried my face, I knew what I had to do, I walked out my room and seen a guard there, "Get everyone in the throne room now!" I commanded, "Yes Princess" He said and quickly went for everyone
I walked to the throne room, I stood in front, I walked back and forth as everyone entered, I kept pacing as everyone entered, I was positive everyone knew why I had called for them, I thought for a moment and kept pacing
"I call forth Hermies, the royal messenger" I said coldly as I kept pacing, looking at the floor, He stepped up and kneeled, "How can I be of service my Princess?" He asked as I stopped pacing and looked at him, "I want a send video message" I said as he nodded he stood up and used magic to start filming my message
I took a breath, "I am the Official Princess Ofelia of Domino, and I have gathered a meeting in matter of an urgent discussion to discuss with you, the royal planets I have invited are, Eraklyon, Solaria, Linphea, Zenith, Melody, Andros, and the news cast, the meeting will not start until everyone who accepted are present and counted for, I would be most please if you all accept this invitation to my palace Domino, The meeting will take place tomorrow at noon, thank you" I said firmly as Hermies stopped filming
"Send that to the royals of the planet I mentioned and to the news cast, I want the maids to prepare dessert in case they are hungry, and have royal wine or water" I said as they all nodded, "Prepare a plane, we are going to Downland" I said with no feeling in my voice as everyone scattered to do what they were told
"Princess, and Bloom?" Hermies said I looked down, "Inform her, but she is not allowed back here, she is to stay in school" I said as he nodded, "Inform me immediately when you have the response of the kings and queens" I said strictly as he nodded, "I need a dozen red roses with no withered petals, and place them in the magical vase" I said as they went to get what I asked for, I walked up to a guard, "I want guards in the village and protecting the castle" I said
"Yes princess" he said as he left to tell the others, "The plane is ready princess" The guard said as I walk toward the royal garage where they kept all the planes, I got on board and sat down, the guards handed me the dozen roses and I spelled them to last forever in Downland, "Step on it" I said as we zoomed towards Downland
I stared at the guards flying the plane and I thought of what I was going to say to the princess Amentia, we arrived to Downland quickly, the guards walked out and helped me down, I seen the guards of Downland raised their weapons toward us
My guards did the same, I raise my hand and my guards lowered their weapons, "I am Princess Ofelia, and I'm here to see the princess" I said as they eyed me curiously, "Follow me" A guard said with a dull deep voice
