"You are a ridiculous woman, you know that?" Remus ask breathlessly. He had Ivy pinned against the wall near the bookshelves in Grimmauld's drawing room- kissing her as hard as he could manage. It was as if all the oxygen had been sucked from the room and she was his only chance of survival. He snaked one arm away and shot a silencing charm and lock to the walls and door of the room in the crowded house.

"I-" She gasp as he bit at her neck and collar bone, "Do apologize. Plan to punish me, Professor?" She giggled as he lifted her up and pressed her flush with the wall, hiking her skirt up as his hands traveled across her thighs. A growl scrapped the back of his throat as Ivy's small hands fumbled over his buttons. Ivy swung he legs around her husband- her ankles joining around his waist, holding her place more so that she could better undo the buttons of his shirt. Once it was free she slung the article of clothing to the floor and pulled herself right back to him. She ran her hands over his bare back and chest, kissed at his jawline and raked her nails down his sides.

"Gods, Ivy." He breathed, pulling away from his own suckling just behind her ear. She reached between them and tugged roughly at his belt, loosening it enough to reach behind the buckle and undo the button and zipper, and Remus took over forcing them down. He reached around and guided her legs to the floor only long enough for his thumbs to slip under the elastic of her knickers and slide them to the floor before her lifted her up and back against the wall.

"Remus, p-please." Ivy moaned into his ear, and he knew exactly what she wanted. He turned her face to his and captured her mouth in a heated kiss, his tongue demanding control over hers as his hips rocked forward and joined their bodies together. Each of his movements brought another small gasp of pleasure, but none of them were enough. Ivy gasp into his mouth and pulled back.

"Harder, please, harder." she cried, and Remus was only too happy to oblige her. Ivy's nails dug into his shoulders as he moved, her moans and cries egging him on for more. After a moment he abruptly pulled away and turned her in place, before she had time to question him. He held her wrists in one hand, above her head, and the other arm he snaked around her wrist.

"Tip toes, my love." He growled into her ear, and she did as she was told, still panting. He pulled with the arm he had around her, until the angle he had was used one leg to spread her legs just enough and once more, he dove back into her full force.

"Remus!" She moaned and panted, 'Oh. There. Yes', she breathed out heavily. As they moved together it became apparent the shelves were shaking, and several things fell off and into the floor, though neither paid attention.

"You feel like heaven." He whispered in her ear, his grip on her hip tightening. "I might-" he started to warn her, but her cry of ecstasy interrupted him, her body crashing around him. He took this as his cue to quite holding back, and Remus allowed himself to join her in climactic release. She was still trying to catch her breath as she turned around and picked up her dress from the floor and pulled it back on.

"That was amazing, Remus. I've missed you." she said, her hand gently holding his cheek. He looked a bit winded from their encounter, but he grinned as he pulled his britches back in place.

"I've missed you far more, I promise." He said with a half chuckle, pulling her over to the couch near by as he picked up his discarded shirt.

"I'm sorry I ran off again." Ivy said sheepishly as Remus pulled her down into the soft embrace of the cushions. Remus didn't seem too bothered.

"Sometimes, you need space. I have to say you're doing much better than you were, but I understand the need for an escape once in a while. I think we should start staying home more often, really. Just you and I." Ivy nodded enthusiastically.

"Oh, yes please!" She said, smiling.

"Do you mind waiting until we have the kids back in school before we do?" He ask, hoping it was not a deal breaker. Ivy shrugged in turn, smoothing down her short blonde hair where Remus had ruffled it running his fingers through.

"I suppose it'll be fine." She agreed. Remus was relieved. He wanted to be around for Harry, especially with everything that was happening now, but he had made a promise to Ivy as well.

"Mmm. Thank you darling." He said, kissing lightly at her neck. "I'm so sorry about everything."

"I know." Ivy said quietly. "I forgive you." She chose her words carefully. Saying 'It's alright' would be room to let such things happen again, and Ivy didn't know if she could keep the animal inside under control if she found Tonks with Remus again, no matter the situation.

"We're going to get Harry this evening, some of the others have set up a distraction to get the Muggles out of the house, and we'll be going in after him while they're out." Remus mentioned, his tone very relaxed. Ivy, however, seemed to have other concerns.

"Remus, that is kidnapping." She said sternly. "Don't you think that-"

"They barely feed the boy, Ivy. I have my doubts that they're going to notice he's gone, and even if they do- It is highly unlikely they'll care." Remus' voice was firm, but Ivy still seemed unconvinced.

"I just don't understand. Isn't his Aunt his mother's sister?" Ivy ask. Remus nodded.

"She is." He confirmed.

"And she treats him that way regardless?" Ivy looked disgusted as Remus nodded again.

"Petunia has always been just... horrid." He said quietly. "Absolutely horrid. But besides- I do plan to leave a note..."

There was no denying the bitterness in the air as Sirius was forced to stay at home while the others went over their plan once more. Ivy sat along with Sirius, mostly on Remus' request that she make sure he did nothing stupid while they were gone. It was no real problem for Ivy to stay back, as she had never been fond of flying in the first place. Sirius stalked back into the depths of the house when the others had taken flight, so Ivy casually walked down the hall to the library. She found Hermione inside, curled up beside a lamp, book in hand. Ivy groaned inwardly, but smiled in a polite sort of way as she found her own abandoned novel.

"Hello, Ivy." Hermione said sweetly, looking up as the other witch sat down.

"Hermione." She returned, settling down across the room and pulling a blanket which was draped over the back of her chair over her lap. Ivy did her best to let the world fade from around her, to not worry about her husband, who she knew was an incredibly capable wizard, as he went after the Wizarding world's most wanted child. Her plans to ease her mind in the pages of her book were dampened, however, when she noticed Hermione seemed to be troubled.

It wasn't that the girl, for her merit, wasn't trying to hide her curiosity- but Ivy's senses were so acute that she knew every little glance Hermione gave her way, and after the fifth or sixth one, Ivy couldn't help herself.

"Is there something I could maybe help you with, Hermione?" She ask, her head tilted and a smile on her face- the same smile she was known to give nosy underclassmen when they repeated the rumors of her lack of humanity. Hermione did not seemed as effected, however.

"I- It's nothing." She said, an obvious look of embarrassment crossing her face. Ivy raised an eyebrow and waited. "It's just- I happened to overhear someone, a witch talking to Sirius and Tonks-"

"Elya." She said, informing Hermione of the name she was missing.

"I suppose, yeah. I didn't realize you were- I mean I know you were a prefect when you were in school, our first through third years but-" Hermione sputtered.

"Come now Hermione," Ivy said kindly. " You expect me to believe you figured out Remus was a werewolf but couldn't find which student was the cause for the rumor he was sleeping with a Seventh year?" Hermione blushed as Ivy spoke. Ivy, however, laughed.

"I didn't mean-" She stammered. Ivy laughed harder.

"And it wasn't that way, not really. We were married, by force of law, before he took the job. It's fine, Hermione. Don't worry about it." Hermione looked pale, but relieved that Ivy wasn't mad. Hermione seemed satisfied with her new knowledge.

"I didn't believe them, anyway." Hermione said after a moment. Ivy looked up and snapped the book shut, then sat forward.

"Believe them?" She ask, but she did not get her answer before Ginny came running in the room.

"He's here." She said, gesturing for Hermione to follow, and the brunette ran after her friend.

Ivy tiptoed down into the dining room where the voices of several people were blending together. She found an empty seat to Remus' left and sat down, smiling a silent 'Thanks' to Molly Weasley as she sat a heaping plate of food before her, along with some sort of tea- one Ivy hadn't smelled before but drank thankfully either way as she only halfway listened to the conversation. She jumped when she heard her own name mentioned.

"I do believe Mrs. Lupin could probably be of some assistance there, don't you?" Kingsley said after his long bout of silence, listening to Remus, Harry, Sirius and Molly go round and round about what was happening.

"Oh, yes." Sirius said, his voice surprisingly lacking in the sarcasm or condescension that it normally held. "She'll have a book and an answer somewhere for something." Harry looked a bit surprised that Ivy was who had answered to the name.

"Well- I mean I don't know..." she sputtered. Remus silently lifted his hand and covered hers, rubbing her knuckles with his thumb. The small act of comfort still her nerves enough for her thoughts to clear.

"I have several books of magical law, from when the Subhuman laws first passed. They're old, extensive, cover every sort of oddity and loophole I could think of. I believe there are about twenty volumes." She said.

"Is there any on saving your cousin from danger?" Harry ask angrily. "A family member, who I might add, knows about magic?" Harry ask. Ivy nodded calmly.

"I think there are several cases of 'Magic in Presence of a Muggle' where the muggle in question was aware of our world, yes." She nodded. Sirius looked to Remus, then Harry, and back. He seemed pleased. She looked over at Harry, really taking in his appearance. She'd never officially met him, so it was only in passing that she knew what he even looked like. He looked so tired to be a fifteen year old boy, and Ivy knew why. He'd seen far too much for anyone even twice his age, and then there was the abuse Remus told her he suffered at the hands of his only family. His clothes bagged off of him the same way the bags under his eyes hung down.

"I would be glad to help you look, Harry." Ivy said, looking him over. He looked as scared and hopeless as she had felt many, many times.

"Er- Thanks." Harry said with a nod. Ivy smiled again and sipped at her tea, as the others once again went back to talking. The conversation took a turn to the Minister and 'He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named' and voices got heated- prompting Ivy to leave. She didn't have a stomach for such talks of war, especially when Harry brought up Cedric. She crept out of the room and up the stairs, heading back to the library.
